It's a nice cozy place. I love the atmosphere there. The food is very delicious. We had to let her get together, so we were i'm giving the site of the restaurant. Our tables were put together, and the kids had fun

Very comforting atmosphere. Menus already placed on the tables with clear prices and items. Food was absolutely delicious. I tried the chicken tiki masala and lamb masala both were delicious. The Mango Lassi was also delicious it was my favorite. Definitely will be back!

Came here cause I was craving something delicious and spicy! I told the server I wanted something with Lamb that was very spicy. He recommended the Lamb Vindaloo. He then asked me if i wanted it American spicy or Indian spicy. The look in his eye when he said Indian spicy scared me so I said American. When he brought out the meal, he also brought a side of the Indian spicy sauce for me just incase. This food was delicious! I added the Indian spices almost immediately and was very please with the level of spiciness. If you want great Indian food at a great price, come here! Also, don’t do what I did and wait for a check hahahaha. You go up to the counter to pay. Oh yea, one order of the Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Naan and Rice is enough for 2 full meals!

We went for the weekend lunch buffet. We drove out from the SFV and it was well worth it. I loved the vivid colors, upbeat music, and friendly service. The price for the buffet which includes fresh Naan, Mango Lassi, bottled water, and a drink for $16.99 can't be beat. The was was very good with lots of vegetarian options. I liked that they have a full bar and a really nice side area that was being used for a private party. They didn't even charge us for our son, but I'm not sure what the official policy is. I've also had their food at someone's home who ordered delivery and it was very delicious.

Royal Tandoor, the place my family and I drop by at least once a week. The moment you come in, the wonderful staff treats you like family and never makes you feel like just a table occupant or just a customer. We have come to this place now for about 4 years and our son has loved the experience of the food and ambiance. Their menu offers you a large variety of food choices but never feeling so complex. Our go to always for drinks is Mango Lassi and soft Taj Mahal beer. As for food, what isn’t good?? But if I must list a few, it would be Spicy Chicken Wings, Shrimp Tandoori, Full Tandoori chicken, Samosas, mild chicken Tikka Masala, Basmati Rice and complimented with their fresh, fluffy and just a tad crispy Garlic Naan. If you have a sweet tooth, I would recommend their sweet gulab jamun and kheer! You will feel like you just had a homemade meal!

I had a fantastic experience at this Indian restaurant! The food was incredible, and the service was top-notch. The garlic naan was perfectly fresh and delicious, a true highlight of the meal. The chicken tikka masala was absolutely the star of the show—flavorful, tender, and rich in spices. We also ordered the mango tikka and yellow dal. The mango tikka was a bit too sweet for my liking and the yellow dal had a strong garlic flavor that was a little overpowering. Despite that, the overall experience was wonderful, with great food and amazing service. Highly recommended!

Royal Tandoor has been a staple of SCV for years! An exotic alternative to a burgeoning food scene. Great flavors, delicious food. The buffet is one of the best offerings in town. Friendly staff always roaming around, attending to customer’s needs. If you want something don’t be afraid to hail one of the wait staff, they are always happy to help. All of the chicken and paneer dishes have been excellent. Looking forward to eating here again.

During my recent visit to Royal Tandoor, I was thoroughly impressed by the authentic flavors and exceptional service that made for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is warm and inviting, with traditional Indian decor that adds to the overall charm. Overall, my experience at Royal Tandoor was nothing short of spectacular. The food was authentic and delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy a true taste of Indian cuisine. One of the highlights of my meal was the chicken biryani. The biryani was fragrant and beautifully presented, with layers of spiced rice and tender chicken pieces. The dish was garnished with fresh herbs, adding an extra dimension of flavor that was simply irresistible. What I feel is that people usually miss the warm , great and generous service in restaurants these days but here you can surely get that . We love coming here , everything is great , the service , food , atmosphere, music. Feels like a family restaurant. I would highly recommend ROYAL TANDOO

Amazing food, service, hospitality and atmosphere. We had been to Simi Valley and wanted to have indian food on the way back home to bay area, choose this restaurant. The food is great, the price is half compared to the restaurants here in San Jose/Sunnyvale/Cupertino and the quantity they serve is double compared to here, you will be really surprised. So be careful while ordering else you will have to do a lot of togo 🙂. we had fish pakora, gobi Manchuria they were amazing. They gave a complimentary Mango lassi to my toddler and Masala chai and lots of papad for us. They are really great overall, you wont be disappointed if you plan to visit.

OMG for the love of all that is holy!!!!! Why did it take me this long to try Indian food?!? This place is absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced! Everyone and to the table to ask us how we are enjoying everything. But the food!!!!!! We had the Samosa are so flavorful and I wanted to eat them all!!! The. We ordered Chicken Makhni and the Garlic Chicken. It came with Basmati Rice and Garlic Naan. For the love of god I have not enjoyed a dinner like this in a very long time. For dessert we enjoyed Kheer my new favorite taste and Kekoa loved the Gulab Jamun and he didn't even share it was so good. Truly just an amazing place from food to the friendly people. As Bill said we are now family!

We stopped here on a drive down from Seattle and what an amazing find. The owner was so friendly and we felt at home. The food was fantastic with spice levels perfect and not too oily or over salted. Loads of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Sat outside under a heater and properly distanced.

Recently dined at Royal Tandoor Restaurant and it turned out to be one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had in LA. Starting with appetizers—Paneer Tikka (served sizzling hot) and Hara Bhara Kebab. Both were delicious, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. For drinks, I tried the Sweet Lassi and Iced Tea, which were refreshing and paired well with the overall meal. For the main course, we had Garlic Butter Naan, Tandoori Roti, Shahi Paneer, and Dal Makhani. The breads were soft and perfectly baked in the tandoor, while the curries were pretty rich and flavorful, so say the least: very comforting in every bite. To that end, the restaurant surprised us with a complimentary Rasgulla, which was a delightful touch by the hosts. Special mention to servers, Ayub and Manpreet, who were incredibly attentive, warm, and professional throughout the dining, they truly elevated the dining experience. My recommendation to everyone around North LA & SoCal to dine here for sure. My best regards to the team working back in the kitchen, bringing the Indian magic with all honesty & professionalism.

Food was fine with decent variety for the price, but the service was really bad. The bread was not replenished consistently and the servers seemed not to care at all. My friend who tried Indian food for the first time was also very disappointed with the service we received.

We had a buffet lunch at this restaurant. I felt It was average. Veggies were too sweet, could’ve been bit spicy. Samosa tasted ok but was too oily. Along with samosas they also had harabhara kabab which was not at all authentic. Felt like a simple aloo tikki also was super salty. Only thing I loved was chickpea chat. You get better authentic Indian food at other places.

It wasnt the greatest indian food i have had. Theres a lot they can work on but the staff was friendly and great. If you have had good indian food i would t recommend this place.
