Best food and service I have had at any restaurant, not just in New York! We were greeted immediately, and sat without delay. Juan was our server and he took great care of us, making sure our drinks were always topped off and that we had everything we needed. We shared a lot of good conversation and laughs with him. He mentioned he has been working there for over 20 years! Ask for him at table number 24 if you choose to dine here. I had the salmon, and my friends each had a tomato based pasta dish. Everything was a 10/10 across the board!

Isle of Capri is a fantastic Italian restaurant in the UES serving some of the most fresh and authentic Italian cuisine I have ever had. The restaurant gives off an intimate vibe with old-style decor and comfortable seating. It felt like a restaurant out of an old movie scene. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They were able to give us good suggestions off the menu and served us with a smile. They started us off with some warm bread and butter but we didn't even eat that much since our order came out so quick. My party ordered the eggplant and chicken parm, and let me tell you that eggplant parm was out of this world. The thin and crispy eggplant layered with cheese and sauce just melted in my mouth. I would go back just to order more of that. Since I am vegetarian, I didn't get to try the chicken parm but my friend devoured the entire dish, so I'm assuming it was very good. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. They have private seating as well as main floor seating. Parking is difficult to find near the restaurant so try to walk or come by subway. 5 stars!

This is by far one of the greatest experiences ive had at a restaurant. Last time i gave a review at a restaurant was because they deserved something great said & This place is recommended to everyone looking for a place to dine & feel like the food is from home & youre treated like family. I have no complaints other than being treated too good where im like woahh… why? Lol Trust me you wont regret dining here. The dish that we had was linguine gamberetti trust me you wont regret it 👌🏼 Ask for Armando, he treated us like family 👌🏼

Highly recommended. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, attentive. A welcoming and decorative restaurant, there is plenty of seating inside the main dining room, or we chose to sit along the edge of the restruant inside with lots of windows and people watching. There is an extensive menu here, we enjoyed the chicken Parmesan, sauteed shrimp, and the veal Parmesan, great portions... esp since we were so hungry!! Served fresh and hot, along with the complimentary bread and bruscetta. A great neighborhood find with a charming atmosphere. Enjoy!

First time here due to a recommendation of a friend and I was glad I came! The food was amazing and definitely one of the best authentic Italian cuisines I’ve had. The prices were great and portions were huge. Be prepared to come on an empty stomach!

The service is very nice and the meatball is just so tender and full of flavors. I was also pleasantly surprised to discover that beef honeycomb tripes are featured in Italian cuisines as well, and they taste great tho a little boring with a full plate.

What an amazing restaurant! After getting a procedure done at the nearby institute I looked here for a last minute reservation. The interior is gorgeous, and holds many authentic Italian decorations. The hostess was very friendly, and the waiters were quick to refill water, recommend specific items and drinks, and stay nearby for anything we might need. Talk about above and beyond! We got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and their daily special, which was a Linguini with Shrimp and bites of Lobster. Absolutely heavenly! Nice for a romantic or intimate outing, or for a family affair. Fresh bread was also provided, and it was definitely fresh, with complimentary bruschetta offered to boot! What a lovely experience, definitely consider this for your next Italian outing. Juan was great, the hostess was great and the manager was so friendly and personal!

Overall okay - the vibe was really nice. Service was slow, had to wait 30 min after eating to get our check. The food was also just mid. I do recommend the calamari!

Located in the Upper East Side this restaurant offers a wide variety of Italian classics like Eggplant Parmigiana, Veal Marsala, Veal Parmigiana and for dessert Chocolate Profiteroles. The service is outstanding, specially if you are served by Mr. Armando who is extremely friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

Very antique style restaurant. Italian style, decent amount of food serve. The food is good, but the pasta is a little too sweet for me other than that their waiters treat you with respect and they are welcoming to your needs or wants. Family oriented and have great customer services skills. Food prices is decent for the location of the restaurant.

I'm very sad to leave this review, but I feel it's my moral obligation to warn others about at least one of the staff members at this restaurant trying to steal money from me. When reviewing my transactions, I saw that I was charged a 30% tip by this restaurant, even though that is not the amount I authorised to be charged on my receipt. Luckily, I always keep copies of my receipts. I contacted the restaurant and they were very quick to try to find a solution. They sent me their copy of the receipt and it turns out that the server called Pablo most likely got rid of the merchant receipt, reprinted the customer receipt, added 30% to the tip and signed it himself. Pablo's name is on the receipt, though it could have been someone else too. The restaurant refunded me the overcharged money to my card, but honestly I would think a full refund would be a more appropriate response given the situation. I would also feel better if the person responsible for this attempted theft were fired from the restaurant. Until such changes are made, I will not return to the restaurant. That is a shame, as I always enjoyed their food and I looked forward to going there before this happened... Also, I saw in the reviews that this was not the first time this has happened at this restaurant, so please beware and check your receipts.
