Home made wonderful breakfast and lunch. Downhome feeling. Fast easy going service. If I lived around this place I would be there every day. I had a chorizo omelette that wasn't on the menu but they made one for me. I split some banana walnut pancakes that were on the daily specials menu. The place was full of locals, that should say a lot to you. Really loved my meal and the service.

Oh my goodness. I almost wrote a review while eating I loved it so much. I got the breakfast burrito and it was amazing! I hope to go there again one day. Great service, cute at home atmosphere, great homemade salsa.

The breakfast at the Silver Spur was perfect! We loved the fast and attentive service, and their homemade salsa is absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Karina, was excellent and made the experience even better. We will definitely be back!

This family owned quaint silver spur themed restaurant. Very few restaurants make you feel at home nowadays this one does! The father son duo story will warm your heart knowing they chose to create this restaurant together and the son deals with more of the business side and the father who is a cook deals with the food side. The hash browns are the best I have ever had. My family has been frequenting this place for years and today we had the pleasure of having the owner Daniel visit our table. Worth the visit EVERY time. Never disappoints!

Best breakfast around If you're spending the weekend in Santa Cruz! I've tried all the other restaurants for breakfast but this place cannot be beat, highly recommended!

I have not been there for a while, and I know they have new owners. I ended there two Saturdays in a row. There is always a wait to be seated, but worth it. I sat on the counter, which was faster. The first Saturday I ordered the country breakfast with their biscuits and gravy! And the plate was covered in gravy. Other places give you a little, but here there was a lot of gravy and for the West Coast standards, it was very good. The second Saturday, I ordered the corn beef hash which is off the special menu, and that was excellent. And I always get the buttermilk pancakes which are perfect. Their staff is very friendly and a joy to see and watch them work. They continuously check on you. Thank You Silver Spur.

The food here is great and delicious. The BreadPudding is actually better than that in Shadowbrook. Customer service is great, Food is served quick. They were able to customize my tea the way I wanted and i loved it.

I have been going here for years over the years. I moved away, I just ate here again last week, and wow, it has gotten even better! It was so good I decided to eat here again the following day. Great food, great service and the prices were not too bad. On a side note, busy or not, the food was on the table within 10 minutes of ordering it. - 5 stars

Great food, great service. Different from the prev owners menu but I’m not mad at it. Went in with an open mind and really liked it. They brought back some things such as fried steak, benedicts and hash browns. Witch I think is a plus because I love all of those things. Went with the special french toast and benedicts this time and really enjoyed it. It was packed when I got there but got sat pretty quickly.

We just relocated back to Santa Cruz over the weekend and wanted to try out a Breakfast place that we haven’t tried yet to celebrate. We were expecting your average diner food but was pleasantly surprised. The Portions are massive but what really impressed me was the food quality. I have what feels like a million breakfast burritos but this is by far the best one I have ever had. Even the hot chocolate was set to a temperature where you could drink it right away without burning yourself and the Cinnamon French Toast had the right balance of spices to have the cinnamon but not have it be overpowering. I would certainly say this is the top 3 best breakfast diners that I have tried so far in the United States. The staff is also wonderful and the establishment is smaller but quaint in a good way. 1000/10 would recommend to everyone. They even have Vegetarian and Vegan options.

Overall very nice breakfast place. Country diner atmosphere. We had chilaquiles and a buttermilk waffle. Chilaquiles were good but more like huevos rancheros. Waffle was too dense, not recommended. Service was excellent. Prices are fair to high side.

Cute little country Cafe reminds me of my home town in Idaho. Good food good service nice atmosphere. Wasn't a huge fan of the biscuits and gravy but everything else was great. I want to try the French toast sometime.
