I was the on the way to Starbucks for a cold brew when I passed by Little Bean on foot and noticed the painted cold brew murals outside. Expecting a Santa Monica local coffee shop to be steeply priced, I stopped to check Google for pricing and reviews. The full 5 star average seemed too good to be true but the prices were relatively on par if not a bit cheaper than the competition. All else equal, I much prefer to try local shops so I aborted my Starbucks run and I’m so glad I did. Right upon entering the customer service was phenomenal and they happily explained the menu with an obvious passion for their work. They recommended the medium roast cold brew (I’ve never seen a coffee place with 3 cold brew roast options) and it was perfectly balanced and extremely delicious with rich, deep flavor. So many coffee shops charge way too much for a lackluster, watered down cup but Little Bean is not one of them. The ice level was spot on! Deserving of every 5 star review not only for the outstanding, personal customer service but also for the best cup of cold brew coffee I’ve ever had. I look forward to returning when work brings me back to the area and I’m happy I signed up for the loyalty program. Thank you!!

Awesome coffee! The blue bean cold brew is truely refreshing with a flavor of honey flower and fruit. Definitely love it! The chocolate croissant tastes great too!

This little place is a gem. Very cosy vibes with decorations and photo collages of the family that runs this shop, as well as some board games to play wirh. The drinks we got were fantastic, will definitely come here again.

Meant to write this review last summer, visiting from Australia. LA in the news reminded me of what a great visit I had and how friendly everyone was. Walked by Little Bean, looked slightly unusual, stopped in & had a relaxed little chat with Chris about coffee/life. Friendly, enthusiastic and fantastic cold brew! ....really good coffee! If you're in the neighbourhood definitely stop by!

I LOVE that they dont charge extra for vegan milk. The chai was , i just wished they had a vegan snack but the guy was so nice!!!

Delicious, full bodied, full flavored and smooth coffee at the best price in town. The ham and cheese croissant, chocolate croissant, and banana loaf are all must try. The family that runs it is what makes this place truly special.

The owners recommendations were spot on and their passion comes through in their product. The coffee was so good that my wife and I had to come back in the same day to try more. The sapphire cold brew is a must have!

I stopped here today after work and my chai was delicious with a great price! The owner was very nice and his cafe is very wholesome with pictures of family on the wall. Thank you, see you soon! ☺️

This was my favorite coffee shop in LA! So cute and adorned with pictures of the owners and their family. They were so friendly and the coffee was delicious, especially the salted caramel latte!

Coffee is incredible! We came almost everyday of our vacation in Santa Monica because of the amazing lattes and the wonderful owners, who explained the art that goes into making all of their products. The blueberry latte was my particular favorite but they were all delicious!!

Finally a chai latte that isn’t premixed and presweetened. Most places have a powder they mix with insane amount of sugar but this place brews real tea with no added sugar. Prices are more than reasonable!

Great spot, great service, great coffee. The owner is super knowledgeable about his product so I took his recommendations for my coffee and it was one of the best iced coffees I’ve ever had (blue option with half blueberry and half vanilla syrups). He mentioned he makes the syrups in house as well and you can tell. Highly recommend.
