As I pulled up into the drive through, a young man br the name of Andreas was wiping the protective pole for the drive through menu an was wiping that down. In my 54 years of existence I’ve never seen that done. Ownership should know that fast food service is tough enough but to see that, I’d give this Taco Bell 5 stars , and to Andreas, Julian and cooking service, another 5 stars. They should be recognized for their efforts. Thanks

Awesome fast service. The food was delicious and tasted fresh. Our order included cantina chicken crispy taco meal and cantina chicken quesadilla meals, which were both pretty inexpensive if ordered through the app deals. And I will definitely be back for the cheez it tostada 😂 My only issue with this location are the local homeless who don’t let you eat in peace outside. Saw one of them inappropriately touching themselves next to us and some kids.

It was always a dream to try taco bell one day. It finally came true. I was trying the doritos tacos supreme and they were so good, it was moutwatering. The place was very small, like really small. Just two tablets to Order and the cashier. The staff was nice, not the fastet ones tbh but ok. Outside were like three tables to sit. I really recommend the place.

Outdoor seating only and no public restroom, but it was clean, the staff was pleasant and quick, and the order kiosk made my choice feel less hurried. It's Taco Bell. In this category, four stars.

Good food, fairly quick service. Small table space outside. Drive thru is tight, swing wide before ordering, and note the paint on the wall from prior cars that did not swing wide!

Pretty consistent food. When doing drive through, make a really wide turn, it's okay to be 3ft from the intercom, but making a 3pt turn in a drive through I'd embarrassing. Double check your orders for any small things like cinnamon twists, they've missed mine on several occasions

It's a taco bell. You already know all about their food. There's not much in the way of parking and their drive thru exits right into the street so there's no parking and eating in your car or circling back around if you/they forgot something. Not terrible but not the best setup.

Food was good here but had to negotiate a group of about 15 homeless people blocking the drive thru entrance.

My only two real issues are that the drive-thru is a bit tough to get thru sometimes, I have a '97 Lexus ES300 that has a pretty long body and I have to sometimes readjust to reach the window after making my order. My other issue is that unless the Taco Bell theme nowadays is less seating, I would appreciate more of those bolted to the floor outside tbh. I don't know, other than that it's great. I love Taco Bell lol. I recommend this one for a quick drive thru, they also have two self-order kiosks inside.

This is one of the tiniest Taco Bells I have ever seen! It's super small, but the food is still the usual classic Bell, & the staff are chill and kind. The outdoor seating area is usually fairly messy but I guess that's to be expected in this area - not due up the large homeless contingent in the area, but because uppity rich folks seem less likely to be willing to clean up after themselves (I've watched this phenomenon occur across Santa Monica). & So it goes! :D

Definitely love the service and the people put the effort into getting you in and out as fast as possible. This can be difficult late night because the restaurant lobby is pretty small and the outside line is not constructed in a way that makes it easy to drive through without freaking out that you'll scrape your car. Many have been victims which is evident from the large black streaks gliding menacingly along the beige brick wall when you turn make that turn leading to the pick-up window so be careful. Staff keeps the place claim and does their best to keep things in motion period though sometimes they struggle when too many people show up at once ... but then who wouldn't ???

Used to go here a lot but moved out of the area. Had to stop in when in the area. I love Taco Bell. Get Nachos Bell Grande and Burrito Supreme. Doesn't seem to be as many toppings on the Nachos. They need to be spread out more so you get topping on each chip. Like the new cardboard packaging. Very environmentally conscious. The burrito was as good as always. Again, the contents need to be spread thru the length of the burrito, not just plopped in one place. Other than that, it was delicious. The store was clean, the staff friendly and the outside dining area was also clean. Overall, enjoyed my trip down memory lane.

The Taco's are great as ever. The downside ist, that they only have 2 tables outside. Not much room.

Service is great but the drive thru is incredibly narrow. Consider going to the one on Pico Blvd instead if you have a car that is even slightly wider than average.

Top of the line, authentic Mexican cuisine. Just like Mom's (God bless her soul) used to make. Just kidding. It's Taco Bell for crying out loud. Staff is pretty nice here. Do not mistake this for real Mexican food. It's Mexican flavored fast food. But it's a nice break if you're sick of burgers.

If you need some quick crunchy tacos on the go, give Taco Bell a try. Ive been visiting for years and remember, the Mexican Pizza, back in the day. Love the seven layer burrito, chips, and chalupas Supreme style. Taco Bell has been around for years like Wendy's and I always end up driving through or stopping into grab a few snacks or lunch. Love Taco Bell and will return for years to come.

Small, uneven parking lot. No inside seating. Outside seating taken up by homeless. The workers are insanely nice and the food, though slower than usual, is exceptional for taco bell. This staff deserves a better location.

Edit: seems like I've hit a string of wrong orders here lately.. Like any Taco Bell, this one has it's share of hits and misses. The staff is incredible (Brenda! You're my girl!), and I've never gotten any poorly cooked food. Sometimes orders can get a little mixed up but it's not common.

If you like tmTaco Bell..this is delicious Taco Bell. Busy place..I was a little disappointed as I ordered a bean burrito on the self order computer. I ordered it with extra beans, extra meat, extra cheese and extra sauce because I was starving and didn't want one that was too skimpy like sometimes happens depending on what taco bell you stop at...it tasted great but it was pretty wimpy...so small for a burrito that added up to almost 5 bucks with all the extras (that I didn't feel like I got). Oh well. Really liked the computer self order screen, it's nice to be able to specify exactly what you want.

Thankfully the food was edible enough to eat though, a little cold. Its Taco Bell in LA so didn't expect perfection. Just being straight with the review is all.

This place is proof 15$ an hr is too much for fast food people. Terrible staff never gets the condiments correct. Gave me a small cup because they ran out of large cups and gave me attitude for questioning what the small cup was for

I will not return to this Taco Bell. Messing up my order wasn't a big deal, I could see the staff was rushing and talking to me and people in the drive through. After I asked to have my order corrected the supervisor who didn't even take my order told me I ordered it wrong and I didn't even get what I ordered because I didn't want to argue with him. The seating is outside and I had to beg them for a refill on my water because they shutoff the soda machine.

Take out was sealed. Was missing one Chicken Power Bowl. Got 25 packets of hot sauce. One napkin and one fork. Had ordered two chicken power bowls, four crispy tacos and two Pepsi’s. No receipt was enclosed or offered. Service was polite, was not busy. Really, guys? Could you at least tape receipt to bag? ,

the lady at the window told me my total was $11.40 & this guy comes up behind her and asks " would you like it as a combo itll be 40 cents cheaper" so like any normal person i said yes. so i had her a 20 dollar bill and she gives me my change and i trusted her to give me the right amount back. so as i got my food i left because i was on a school trip as soon as i got on the i realized she gave me $4 back and my total jumped to almost 16 dollars...!!!!! i was so upset and i couldnt leave the bus to go fix it. and then my burrito was way more bean than anything!!!! ugh please fix this

I ordered and paid for my food. I then watched the staff give a homeless person a free cup of ice and he then filled it with soda. When my order was ready, I asked for three cups for water. The staff told me they had no cups. So, I was denied water with my paid order.

This Taco Bell is the worst. They get part of your order wrong and forget things in your order all the time. They never give out a spork with your food and often forget the hot suace. I once asked to add an item at the window as my credit card was being handed back and was told I couldn't. Understandable, they were busy. The cashier handed me my food and shut the window so quickly she forgot my spork. I sat there trying to get her attention for 5 solid minutes. The order for the person behind me was completely ready and she just refused to acknowledge me or make eye contact. I had to park and go inside to grab what I needed.

Food was fine yet the staff, although friendly, always fail to deliver the full order any time I go there. I went through the drive-thru today and ordered the Doritos Locos Tacos Combo, the Chalupa Supreme Combo (which includes a crunchy taco) and I ordered an additional crunchy taco to feed 3 people. That adds up to 5 tacos and 2 chalupas and 2 drinks. I was asked what sauces were wanted and I requested a Fire and a Mild one. The order came up short one taco and no sauces were provided. Yet I was charged for the extra taco that I did not receive. I never received the sauces. Will I ever receive the proper order? No. They know that if they ever do provide me with what I paid for, that I would die on the spot from a massive heart attack brought on the by the shock from actually receiving a complete order. Thanks for keeping me alive Taco #ell!

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Taco Bell. The guy at the ordering screen sounded like he really hated his life, he was extremely rude it was unbelievable. The lady at the window was like 10 months pregnant. They got the order wrong and it was basura. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat here.

You order 4 items everything vegetarian (substitute the meat with beans). And still found out that there's a piece of meat in there. It's so unbelievable when they have all their stuff separate. And thanks to drive through only option you can't even check it.

Rude staff - first guy called at me over his shoulder that I was "wrong way". I had to ask him to clarify what he meant, and he informed me that my Lyft driver had pulled into the parking lot the wrong way. I then asked them about my online order, which is why I was there in the first place. The lady behind the counter picked up a bag and almost threw it at me. They ask you if your order is correct on the screen and it is. Get home and the order is completely wrong. Then I call and the phone rings for 90 seconds with nobody picking up. So I guess the way to deal with their problems just don't answer the phone and they don't know what happened. Thankfully I don't live near the store so I don't have to go back to.

We just purchased our breakfast order 15 minutes ago and we have now returned because it is nothing like what it is supposed to be. The breakfast burrito looks more like a taquito! We'll see what kind of customer service will receive at this location.

Never order online from this Taco Bell. I ordered $85.38 worth of tacos for a party, but when I showed up they said they never got the order. Two weeks later I'm still trying to figure things out, even though I have a recording of the interaction and the charge erroneously posted to my credit card.

Ok. Customer service. I paid $6.37 for 2 Tacos. I asked the cashier for just a cup of H²O and she told me she couldn't give me water. I would have had to tell her when I placed my order. This was the 1st time I've ever been told that. What wonderful sevice.

I came here a few times. There's literally no meat in the tacos. Especially if you order chicken which is an upcharge! I was mailed taco bell coupons and this location denied taking them. I love in Santa monica and the location is in Santa monica. They got me to visit with coupons that they do not take. Avoid this location. Horrible!

Zero stars! The shell tacos tasted old. I think the shell taco was expired! When I unwrapped the shell tacos, you could smell a weird smell. Please be warned! And be safe! Health Department should be called on them. I'm serious! I would of said something there if I only knew before I left. Sad part we purchase food for others as well and it was sad to see everyones faces when they took those first bites. Even my 6 and 9 year old notices the taste. $30 down the trash! But we rather be safe!

I used the app to set a pickup time and arrived 5 minutes early while it said they were putting it together. I waited for them to call my name but never did while others were served. I asked someone and they pulled out the order from behind the counter and said here. I asked how long it had been sitting there and they said at least 10 minutes. So they finished my order way too early then hid it so I couldn’t even come grab it. Poor time management and poor staff. Not even an apology for giving me lukewarm food.

I’ve never before felt compelled to write a negative review on a fast food place but to spare you from the living headache that is this establishment, here I am. Made a mobile order and when picking up in the drive thru was told to make an ILLEGAL u-turn into oncoming traffic, park, and come in to get it as it ‘wasn’t ready yet’. HOWEVER upon managing to make it into the building, the order was barely even warm?? After driving away I discovered that not only was there cheese on the tacos when the order clearly said fresco style for everything… but they also didn’t add any napkins or any of the requested sauces??? The tacos and burritos were wrapped awfully spilling all through the bag and mixing with the cinnamon twists. Seriously skip this location. More like Taco Hell 👎

Multiple times my friend and I have come here. While they are quick our order ALWAYS has something wrong. Today, two things were missing, they rang up our drinks wrong (Happier Hour) and they gave us a completely wrong burrito. We went back to the window to confirm our Chalupa box (in a bag not a box) and they said everything was there. We had to drive back when we realized half my order was missing.

I asked the person on the driver through to throw away my old cup of drink and he said he can't throw away my old cup of drink. It was just one cup of coke from McDonald's. What a lousy service. I don't ask this usually but sometimes I ask person to throw my old drink because I had no space to put new one. I talked to manager about this and he said call corporate office because they are not allowed to throw away trash from customers due to contamination problem. I don't usually have problems like this. Terrible service!!!!!

i’m not even exaggerating when i say this location has never gotten my order correct a single time. it’s beyond ridiculous, like they’re purposefully trying to mess up peoples orders. and when you ask if they made sure that certain customizations were added, they straight up lie and say yes when they know for a fact they ignored what your ordered and paid extra for.

Have come here several times for work and just because it’s on my way. Employee by name of Miguel is so rude. And let me say it’s not a thing about having a bad day, he’s always rude. He even yelled at us because we didn’t want to move and his timing was adding up. There was no one behind us and we had to wait for our orders. He was argumentative every time. The rest of the crew is alright. The problem with going inside is that you get ignored because they are so worried about the drive thru timing they don’t care about having you wait 25-20 minutes for them to take your order. I had to stand there while they finished all the drive thru cars and even yet they had to finish other orders before they even took mine. And I was the only person inside the restaurant. Bad bad service.

I stop at taco bell several times a week and have the credit card statement to prove it. Everything I tried to order was a problem, they were out of medium sized cups, so I had to order and pay for large, they were out of cherry flavor for the freezes, so I had to get a different flavor, they were out of Pepsi, so I had to get mountain dew, etc. The person taking the order was laughing the whole time we were waiting for our food, which was a disaster. I don't know why there was all this back and forth with the cashier. Was it fun and games night? On top of that, they didn't cut the quesadillas, 1 of the 4 quesadillas I ordered had no steak in it, and the other 3 had very little. the cups were overloaded with ice. I would think Saturday night would be one of the busier nights for Taco Bell, so I am surprised at everything that was wrong. I will not be returning to this location again. I would rather drive over to the Pico and Bundy location. I don't think I have ever had a problem there. This was completely unacceptable in every way especially the conduct of the employees.

As soon as you walk in expect a 30 minutes wait minimum. No it’s not because it’s busy, it’s just that the drive thru is given priority and you won’t be given any attention except after 30 minutes to order. Now if you’re sorry and unlucky enough to have a mobile pickup, or even worse you’re a delivery driver, expect to be treated horribly as well! No one is safe 😂 one staff member that stood out was an older Hispanic lady that seemed to be the least interested in working there, and the way she treats delivery drivers is appalling. No wonder this business has horrible reviews everywhere. Even the food was mid at best. Don’t go to this Taco Bell.

I placed an order on the app for drive thru pick up. I picked it up, but when I got home I noticed one item was missing - I was given a credit in the app. Then I went to eat my food - two of the three items in the box (the main items) were wrong. One was a completely wrong item (asked for potato taco, got a beefy burrito) and the other was the right item (chalupa) made incorrectly (I had a veggie cravings box as I'm vegetarian and this one had meat). Both items had meat which I don't eat, so I had to throw them away. Couldn't get credit via app since they already credited me for missing item. Sent email requests for response several times with NO REPLY. Wasted money.

It’d be nice if their restroom which is outside of the store was open to the public, especially for us rideshare drivers who really need to use it. It would also be nice if they weren’t rude about it.

I experienced a disappointing visit to this establishment on Tuesday, November 25th, at 1:22 AM. I encountered difficulty understanding the female employee, who I believe may be the manager, while attempting to place an order through the drive-through. When I inquired about specific menu items, she seemed to struggle with comprehension and appeared to be rushing me to finalize my order. This language barrier proved to be quite frustrating, and as a result, I ultimately decided to leave.

If I could give this place zero stars I would and I hate to say this because I'm a Taco Bell guy but this place is terrible. I've been working in Santa Monica for 6 years and have been to this particular Taco Bell 5 times , 3 mobile orders and 2 walk ins , and I'm not the one that gets mad ( More like disappointed ) and goes back to complain. I chalk it up as a lost and just don't go back. But since I am a Taco Bell guy I get cravings ( Hence the 5 times in 6 years ) so I would try the next year and be cool. ALL 5 TIMES MY ORDERS WERE WRONG!!! Ordering anything with steak and it's a problem. So forget this location because it's not even a 50% chance that they'll get your order right.

NO MEAT IN CRUNCH WRAPS EVER!!!!! I ordered from this Taco Bell a few times, and every time they had barely put any meat in the crunchwraps. They would literally put about a quarter size of meat. Today I paid extra for extra meat. This time they literally put NO MEAT!!! They didn’t even put a penny size. It was basically a ghetto quesadilla made of nacho cheese and sour cream 🤢 I even paid extra because I bought it on Uber and they mark the price up much higher on Uber. So basically, I paid my Uber driver a tip and for the Uber service for no food. I hate this Taco Bell and I do not ever recommend it. What a joke
