Great selection of drinks and affordable sandwiches. A bit off the main strip but worth the short walk. The back patio is lovey space to spend lunch.

Amazing finding! Great little Deli serving delicious gourmet swandiches, lasagna, spinach pie and other yummy Mediterranean dishes; it takes the owners a little too long to make the swandiches but the wait is totally worth it.

What a cute place with delicious food! Everything tasted great, especially the spinach and feta pie and the baklava. The owners are very friendly and helpful! The patio is so shady and relaxing.

The bread is perfectly soft with a perfect crust. And the pasta salad and baked goods are also delicious. We had zero wait and loved the garden backyard patio. We would eat here again!

Best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Bread was high quality. Turkey melted in my mouth. The mozzarella and tomatoes were so fresh. Slow service but definitely worth the wait (nice and calm atmosphere while waiting, anyways). Try the stuffed grape leaves too.

We have become addicted to the Gourmet Deli! Great food prepared daily by the lovely hard working couple who own and operate it. The back patio is an enjoyable venue on a warm sunny day. I cannot wait for their return from a well deserved vacation.

This deli market is a gem. The sandwiches are delicious and made with bread baked in house. The Greek salad is fresh and very tasty and the lattes are perfection. The deli is run by the owners who are warm, welcoming, and prepare your food made to order, themselves. Highly recommend.

The best sandwiches in the world!!! Local couple that run the place are so nice and offer dishes from their home country that are delish. Plus the selection of salads, drinks, snacks. AND, offering gluten free bread that is amazing. It's so popular so just plan to have a little bit of a wait time if you go at high times.

We had the most delicious fresh gyros 🥙 when we walked in we were greeted with such warm and kindness 🥰, and served the most tasty hit fresh gyros and dolmas! 😋 We ate on the beautiful back patio garden which had outdoor seating, flowers, and a fountain! ⛲️When talking to the owners, the deli has been in operation for 49 years! And the beautiful couple has been married and working together there for 42 years, and you could feel the warmth of their love in the beautiful spot 🥰 will absolutely be back :)

Fōtis (Frank) and Evangelina (Eva) were amazing and the food cooked by them was a piece of Greek heaven. I got the gyro with a side of Greek salad. It was so good I ended up getting a Prosciutto di Parma & a Spanakopita to go as well. I will definitely be back! Efcharistó poli!

I got a vegetarian toast plus fermented cucumber and it was so delicious! We got as well a bottle of wine to enjoy the surroundings and our little bites! When you are near really pass by and enjoy this charming place and great food!

Frank, the host, was breathtakingly genial—warm, funny, and the kind of person who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. The menu is wonderfully crowded with choices, each one sounding better than the last. Highly recommended. A true Sausalito gem.

at the recommendation of one of the family locals, went there with my parents to have a mid-week lunch. the vibe inside feels historic and as though it's been woven into the fabric that is the charm of Sausalito for a long time. we all ordered the beef gyro sandwich. the flavors were as one would expect, quite tasty. AFAIK, their pita is made in house. i was extra hungry so got a second sandwich, BLTA on ciabatta, not the default bread. it was delicious! if i lived here, this place would definitely be in the lunch rotation on the regular.

Cute little cozy place. The workers seem nice and my sandwich was delicious. A little expensive for a drink and sandwich and they have plenty drink supplyage it could last them a whole decade haha but over I would go again super good sandwich !! 😋

The food was good. We got a variety of sandwiches. All of us didn’t really care for the bread strangely enough. If we are back in town we would return.

Great sandwich shop, so much to offer! Wine sodas cheeses sweets etc. every type of bread under the sun. Great area out back for the kids or party to sit and enjoy the weather. A hefty bill for 2 sandwiches a grilled cheese and 2 drinks. Between $55-70.

Sandwiches were good but they took quite a long time to prepare each one! By the time I I got my order a family that was 4 people ahead of me in line had already finished eating! Only go of you have a ton of time. The people there are nice

I almost gave this place a 5-star rating! My turkey on Dutch crunch was delicious. The turkey was oven-roasted and piled high on fresh-baked Dutch crunch bread. It came with lettuce, tomato, and a tangy mustard that perfectly complemented the other flavors. The chocolate chip cookie was soft, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chips – the perfect sweet treat. The deli itself has a charming, rustic atmosphere with exposed brick walls and wooden tables. My only complaint was the 30-minute wait to get my food. My client and I didn't mind too much since we had plenty to talk about, but we noticed that the staff seemed a bit disorganized and overwhelmed. Perhaps they were short-staffed that day? Regardless, the food was fantastic and I'd definitely go back again (maybe when I have a bit more time to spare!)

It was slightly lacking in flavor. My wife tried the Marin sandwich and she didn't like the combination unfortunately. Service was friendly. The couple who made our sandwiches were very nice. Just wasn't wowed by our lunch. Rating four ⭐ because there's room for improvement.

I typically like these types of old-fashioned European Delis. It appears this place has been around for decades. And seemingly so have the people that run it. May they got jaded over the years, had to deal with too many touristy tourists or just had a really bad day when we were there. They were certainly not friendly. It did not feel welcoming at all. When we asked questions they did let us know that we are annoying them. The food is ok. Just ok. Prices are reasonably, specifically for Sausalito. But it feels like they nickel and dime you. $1 extra for splitting the sandwich (at least you should tell me that before), cheese on a sandwich was a surprisingly large up charge, they charge extra for the credit card, etc. When I inquired why the charge was a lot more than the 12.95 on the menu, the lady clearly wasn't happy that I even asked the question. No reason to come back. I think they are not into creating loyal, repeat customer but live of tourists and the overflow from the Joinery and Bar Bocce being overly busy.

Super rude staff that point to a board when you ask what is on a sandwich (the board is super unclear and not easy to understand). The food was ok, but get over your pretentious selves and treat people with respect. I would not go back or recommend. Clearly others have had the same experience if you read the reviews.
