This place is horrible from service to food. I will never go back there front counter guy always has an attitude. The new place across the street quick slice. Is the spot to go. Once you order from there you will never go back to this place. R.i.p empire

Best tasting pizza and will never go back. Cook literally handed me a slice of pizza that had his hairs on it. I just pointed it out and instead of apologizing and asking if i wanted a replacement he scraped it off with the spatula right after wiping the spatula off on the most disgusting soiled apron he was wearing and handed it back. I was so stunned i just left speechless and disgusted. That guy is family so no way they care to change. Chains are only as strong as it's weakest link. Run away from the taste it's not worth the potential issues you are unaware of. I used to go practically daily until that move.

Me and my family spent a lot of money at Empire Pizza. My sandwich was made wrong. My sandwich had bacon on it and I’m allergic to bacon. I called back to ask can they accommodate me? They said no because they checked the recorded and I did not say no bacon. He told me I should’ve checked the menu. Very bad business me and my family would not spend no more money at this business.

Ordered a calzone, calamari and a salad. Food came a half hour late, calamari was cold, the cheese was already solidifying in the calzone. Called to complain and owner yelled at us and said if you want hot food, pick it up. I guess the 100 dollars a month spent here isn't enough for good customer service.

Do you like undercooked pizza? Do you like to be forced to have no topping options as you walk in starved at noon. I have worked at many pizzerias and I tell ya… this pizza has to be made from a pre-made Cysco food distribution shell, and it has entirely too much cheese and not enough sauce. It is like eating a leather boot. Flavor was just ok but it was undercooked. In my opinion this place has to be a front for something else. I dunno if it has recently changed owners and all these 5-star reviews are from previous owner experiences… we only went there because Califanos across the street was closed. We should have gone with my gut and went to 4-corners. I tried to heat it up and crisp it up and as I picked the slice up to take a bite all the cheese fell off In a big clump….nope can’t do it. I wouldn’t feed it to my dog.

Was in love with this joint for the quality they gave for the price, ordering all the time for a long time via the Slice app, our go to... until I got a delivery that took longer than usual (not rare in Schenectady but not very often)... ordered a 12 cut half pepperoni and a sub (usually order two pizzas or the 24 cut special), but when it arrived, tiny diced peppers all over the pizza which none of my hungry kids will touch, and a smell no one can stand. Of course, due to my desire for a sub that night, there wasn't even a backup pizza to feed them. Slice contacted them several times, no refunds, no remake, no credit, and they claim they made it to the order yet even Slice confirmed no peppers were ordered. They died on that hill; haven't ordered my weekly/biweekly order since... Order from Vintage when looking for great value; almost as inexpensive, same if not better quality, and the delivery guy (even if ordered through Slice) is awesome, even remembers your usual orders.

We have been long time customers at empire but lately it has been terrible, food and service. Tonight we placed an order at 5:49 for a medium pepperoni pizza and 10 extra crispy hot wings. Said it would be ready by 6:09. My husband showed up exactly on time and was told they are just waiting on the pizza. No problem. Over an HOUR goes by since we ordered and my pizza is still not done and my wings that are supposed to be extra crispy have been sitting the entire time. Finally the food comes and my husband asks to speak to the owner and tells him we ordered the wings extra crispy and we’ve been waiting an hour for just the pizza and the wings will be cold and not crispy and the owner rudely responds would you like me to do reheat your wings??? No apology, no attempt at offering a future credit or anything. And the best part is we live 30 seconds from empire, we immediately started eating since we’ve been waiting so long and of course the wings were ice cold but so was the pizza that we just waited an hour on so I’m pretty sure our pizza was done way before it was handed to him.

Wings were so dry and hard to chew they have to be old! The potato skins were cold potatoes with cheese sauce in them…. Maybe the super bowl wasn’t the day to try this place but i won’t be back!

Usually enjoy food from this establishment and the experience. The girl at the counter has always been very respectful and kind. However today 30 wings and 12 cut pizza. BAD DECISION decent but not as good as it’s been (normal, happens) thats fine, But we start eating the wings and jaws start hurting, i looked down to discover day old, discolored,dry wings, mind you its 2 in the afternoon. My wife calls, the man is rude and yelling, telling her bring the remaining wings back (mind you it’s Covid restrictions on that & snowing outside). @ this point he tells her, he “doesn’t trust her”, i was disgusted after eating their bad food and being asked to TRUST THEM & after him being violent with my wife. I take the phone and this guy started yelling @ me, telling me to stop talking to him like that right after he didn’t know i could hear him yelling @ my wife. Terrible. He’s a lucky man because I chose to pray & write this review. MY SUGGESTION, CHOOSE A DIFFERENT PLACE TO EAT. THEY WILL NEVER SEE OUR MONEY AGAIN. Customer service is everything and old food is not acceptable period. To be fair, They young lady called back and offered to redo the wings and to my better judgment, we declined.

Im highly suspicious of any positive reviews because they have been consistently bad Over cooked tasteless pizza over cooked under stuffed calzones wings that are dry anemic and awful. We got two drumettes out of ten wings & some wings were as small as my finger I am not kidding 90 minute wait time on orders & bad customer service. Go to yelp dont trust positive reviews.
