Opinions de Graham's Coffee Parlor Schenectady
This is one of my all time favorite coffee spots. The food and drinks are delicious. The seasonal drink flavors and homemade (I think) cream cheese is the way to go. There is something for everyone here - tea, coffee, bagels, sweets, smoothies and more. Plus, great vibes!
How can you put absolute perfection into words for a review. The feeling you get when you walk in, how clean it is, the smell coffee being prepared, the smiles, and an overall feeling of welcome and this is where you should be. Pick anything on the menu, there options, fresh ingredients, and just an atmosphere that is addicting. Make sure to stop by on the weekends for their amazing Grahamwhich which is my favorite!
My name is Tara and I tried a Caramel Chai Latte today and it was AMAZING! But then again, everything there is amazing! By FAR my favorite coffee parlor! Great service, great coffee, and a wide selection of delicious baked goods and pastries. If you're nearby, definitely stop in and try something for yourself! You won't regret it!
The perfect local coffee shop that Albany always needed. The menu is solid and coffee is exceptional. The staff is extremely friendly and always smiling (thru their masks of course). Highly recommend supporting this local small business. Try their Lavender Bee Latte/Iced Latte, it’s delicious!
Went to Grahams based on the Times Union 2022 best of the capitol region. Loved it, loved that it was different from every other dark, modern industrial coffee shop in the U.S. right now. I got a pistachio Latte at the recommendation of barista and it was fantastic.
Wandered in here and was served the best Chai I've ever had! It's house made and we added cardamom maple flavor w oat milk. Baristas were extremely helpful, sweet, and set a really cool and welcoming vibe. It's decorated so pretty and the baked goods looked amazing. Definitely check this place out!
So far I've only had their coffee, but I must say I love what they're doing. They have tasty lattes, and the staff is super friendly. Haven't been disappointed so far, and I'm far more likely to patronize a tasty and friendly independent shop than a Starbucks, so long as they keep this up!
Went today for the first time and had a pistachio latte and a bagel. The barista immediately recognized me as a newcomer and helped me find the menu I was looking for. Are they clearly labeled? Yep. Was I too busy checking out how cute this place is? Also yep. This cafe is adorable. The art on the walls is bright and fun. The seating is comfy, and there’s a banana phone. I wish I lived closer so this could be a regular hang for me. As for my food, the latte was delish, and the bagel was the thickest bagel I have ever had. Carbs wish to be a thick boy like that. Side note: Super clean bathroom, always appreciated. Definitely would recommend if you’re in the area and hope to be there again.
Very friendly staff eager to get you an awesome caffeinated drink. Cool flavors are always offered and the lattes are perfect. Don't be afraid to ask for suggestions. Definitely try some of the baked goods it's a highlight that shouldn't be overlooked! Enjoy
Graham's Coffee Parlor is an excellent and much-needed addition to Schenectady, providing a local coffee experience amidst the overcrowding of auto shops and chain businesses in the area. The inside is impeccably clean, with gorgeous art installations on the walls and a bright, welcoming atmosphere. There is some seating available for those who want to lounge, but it is limited seating, so don't expect to always find someplace to sit at its busiest times. Parking is also limited, but as long as you can find somewhere to safely park your car, go for it! The coffee itself is HEX coffee, and pastries are from Brimstone Bakery, also located in Upstate NY. The menu is varied, with a great offering of your basic coffee-and-espresso beverages (drip coffee, Chemex coffee, cold brew, lattes, etc.), with house-made syrups that taste a thousand times better than the bottled variety. They also fresh brew teas (they have a lot of flavors to choose from; also, they have matcha!), and make fresh-squeezed juices (like lemonade where you can add fruit puree), smoothies, and smoothie bowls. What I love most about this place is how much love has been put into both the store and the menu. I feel welcome when I come in, I am able to ask questions without feeling disruptive -- as everyone is incredibly friendly and willing to help -- and there is a lot of customization available as well, just in case there is something that you may not prefer. I also appreciate that everything is as fresh as possible. Like I said above, the syrups, juices, and smoothies are house-made, so you know every ingredient that goes into them (sugar, vanilla, water for vanilla syrup; lemons and a nice surprise of fresh-squeezed apple juice for lemonade, etc.). The coffee is delicious, the tea is amazing, and this place is an absolute treasure.
* Warning - Out of Towner Review * Stumbled across this place while in town for a wedding, and glad I did. The place is easily accessible from the main road, but if you are on the opposite side of the road, just make a left after the light and park in the back. The staff was very kind, patient and informative. I got a Malibu coffee ( coconut, lime and coffee). In no universe does it sound like it should be good, but it was). You can taste the strength and quality of the coffee. (Light bitter in the front of the tongue). I also got the cold brew rice chex treats. It appears, after some research they change these season to season, with churros and peeps. They were divine. Do yourself a favor and try ‘em’ out. You won’t be disappointed.
My 10 year old son (a notoriously picky eater) requested that I rate this place 5 stars. He said the food was great and the staff was very kind and generous. I couldn’t agree more! Also the artwork there is original by the owner! Seriously this is the cutest little place and a must see.
Graham's Coffee Parlor is an absolute gem! The space is beautiful, the menu is thoughtfully curated, and the staff is always delightfully ready to make you an incredibly delicious drink over great conversation. Katryn, the proprietor, is veteran in the coffee and cafe industry, and you can tell an unbelievable amount of thought went into this place. She is knowledgeable, kind, and lovely -- you really feel like you are visiting a friend everytime you walk in. Do NOT miss out on Graham's, and if you are sitting there reading about it now, just go! You will not be disappointed and it will easily become your new favorite place in the Capital District.
Hands down, best local coffee spot around. They also serve other beverages like smoothies and have a vitamix for juicing which is impressive. All the flavor syrups are made in house by the owner, Kat, who is adorable to say the least! She always has a smile and is very friendly and welcoming. I really respect the fact they have compostable to-go cups and re-usable stirrers. My only complaint is that I live on the other side of town from this lovely establishment but I would go out of my way anyday for a ginger bee latte & a bourbon pecan bar :oD keep up the good work girl!
We LOVE GRAHAM'S! The selection, the treats, the people are all FABULOUS!
When you’re looking for a wonderful morning Call up Grahams !! Coffee is amazing , smoothies are amazing , and the staff is sooo helpful figuring put exactly what we wanted to out in our smoothies . Oh and the kids love their selection of vintage phones and comfortable seating !! Thanks Grahams for the Best Morning Ever !!
Gosh, Graham’s is just the best. Worth the drive, wherever you live. Not only is it super cute inside but literally everything I’ve had there has been utterly amazing and creative to boot. The lattes are the best I’ve had anyplace, including Seattle. Her syrups are not too sweet. Try the Pistachio! The food is awesome too. Hope they can start doing movie nights again some day!
Amazing people, amazing flavors, not too sweet, AND beautiful aesthetics !! 🌈💖💖
The best espresso drinks in the Capital District. Katryn is amazing and the rest of the staff is always top tier! The açaí bowls and food are great too! Highly recommend :)
My son and I go almost every weekend. It's an amazing place. The lattes are wonderful and the staff friendly and accommodating. There is sometimes a line out the door but never have waited long for our order because they have a great system going. There are vegan options also .
I started going to Grahams a couple years ago with my niece when I lived in NY. Coffees, drinks and food are all delicious. I've since moved to PA and just came back to visit and one of my first stops was Grahams. It's so inviting and has yummy treats. I'm looking forward to my next visit there.
A place I could absolutely go to every single day. I saw this randomly while driving, and while it took me weeks to make my first stop, I honestly regret not making trying it a priority. The shop looks awesome inside, almost like an old school ice cream parlor that feeds every adults need of daily caffeination while making you feel like a kid at heart. The employee that was working was amazingly friendly. He shared how much time and detail the owner put into the place, was happy to share ingredients when requested and explained different offerings that they make on their own. I was sold on the pistachio latte, which sounded interesting/odd since I’ve never heard of one before. While I’m not sure it would be my morning go to, if you’re looking for a mid afternoon iced latte I couldn’t ask for anything more. It was a coffee that tasted just like pistachio ice cream and was so good it could have me coming back daily. On first sip, I realized the quality the shop puts into their ingredients and it has taken the place of Starbucks when I’m in the area which previously I would say didn’t have a great local offering. I look forward to many visits to come. One side note is that parking isn’t overly abundant. While I was able to navigate into a spot quickly, my concerns are that once everyone in the area finds out how superior their coffee is to the national chains nearby that I won’t be able to make it in. For now it’s great!
No contest, this place continues to serve the best coffee I've ever had. I've had cappuccinos, various flavored lattes, and hot chocolates. The ginger bee latte is particularly special and worth a try. What I really like about this place is that virtually nothing is left to chance, with the syrups and chai being made in-house and terrific. The owner is very personable and willing to get to know what you like to find you the best drink. The scones and treats from Brimstone are delicious as well. This place is a find.
Went here last night for their showing of Hocus Pocus and dinner and it was great! I can't believe I've never been here before. I got the Blue Dream and my date got a Pumpkin Spice Latte. They were both really good! The dinner was a "ghoul"ash with roasted broccoli, garden salad and a midnight berry baked desert! Great experience, cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the drinks on their menu!
Incredible staff and delicious coffee. I had a pistachio latte and it was amazing. I don't usually like super sweet flavored coffees, but this was so balanced and delicious (and don't worry, if you do like things sweeter, they can absolutely satisfy your sweet tooth as well!). I will definitely be back!!
One of my absolute favorite places to go! Yes, some of the prices are going to be higher than your fav coffee chain, but this is a small business and I can tell you - you can taste the love and care that go into the drinks. The experience you have at Graham's far exceeds any chain coffee place. 10/10 would recommend!!
I'm a coffee fiend and I was excited to see Schenectady was getting a real coffee shop near my house! The iced latte I had was delicious, the staff was super friendly, and the space was nice and bright. They have lots of options for coffees, teas, smoothies, and other juices that I can't wait to try. *Updated to say that I had the ginger-bee latte and it was excellent. The flavour was great and not too sweet 🐝
Truly an experience! Graham's is a special place. As soon as you walk through the door you feel taken back in time to when you were a kid in the 80's. You almost expect a-ha or Madonna to come walking out to make your drink. The owner Katryn is super personable and makes you feel welcome. I'm working my way through the menu and everything I've had is delightful from the coffee to beetroot latte to the juice to the pastries. Everything is made to perfection. I really love how they have some flavors that you don't see many places like cardamom maple, beetroot, even bloody Mary flavors. This place is a gem!
Love going to get coffee from this little shop! This cute shop always goes big for the holidays, but the big flavour they bring in their food and drinks is even better! The names for there drink are so punny(lol) I can’t get enough of the coffee shop- try the blue dream if you ever go, my favourite.
Absolutely ADORE Graham's! I have yet to meet a coffee, smoothie or pastry I don't love (special shout out to the hot pepper gruyere scone and pistachio latte). I come here every day on my way to work (I'm late every day but it's so worth it). The folks who work here are so nice. They could kick starbucks a$$ up and down the street. 10/10.
Not sure how I heard about this place (Facebook?) and was driving by today and decided to check it out. Comfortable spot with a clean modern feel. Couldn't stay long so ordered a coffee to go and, oh what are those but blueberry lemon scones? The owner was behind the counter and cheerfully greeting each visitor while masterfully preparing the coffee. Did I mention the awesome blueberry lemon scone? Encouraging neighbors and friends to support this new locally owned shop. :)
Went to the original location for the first after seeing an interview on the local news about a second location opening. We ordered a variety of items and coffee's. Everything was fresh and delicious! So glad we stopped!
This is a cute little place with friendly staff. The coffee drinks I've had here are all very well made, and the juices seem very popular as well, judging by the screeching juicer blades behind the counter. The place is cleverly decorated with a variety of seating and a rotating diorama (!), and nice bright windows. It seems to attract mostly people passing by, many becoming regulars, with a few small groups sitting to talk. Parking can be a little tight sometimes.
The women who run the place are sooooo pleasant to talk to and funny. I told them I was meeting a random man from CL to potentially be roommates, and they said they’d be watching from the window to make sure I was okay. It was broad daylight, I wasn’t worried, but it’s nice to see women looking out for other women. They recommended a coffee for me and parfait. They were both delicious. 10/10 would go again, and recommend to anyone. Only draw back is that their indoor seating isn’t open yet.
Easily accessible walk up window to order coffee during these crazy times. Staff was incredibly friendly. Got the pistachio cold brew for my first visit, and it's safe to say these guys will be taking all my money. I have found my new favorite spot
Very quaint little café. Creative menu options and a fun atmosphere. I like the higher quality non-dairy options available, and the selection of house-made flavors. Which I believe are infused honey, vs. the traditional simple/corn syrup. I have yet to try most of the menu but look forward to the experience!
Graham's has the BEST hot chocolate. Do not walk....run. I come here at least once a week, and always receive great service. I especially like the acai bowls as they have a sorbet like consistency. This coffee parlor also has a good selection of baked goods from a bakery in Saratoga. Get the banana bread - it is amazing.
I always come here with my sister at least once a week! the building is cute, staff and employees are the sweetest, and of course the coffee and food is great! we definitely will be becoming regulars!
Had the best coffee and bagel here. The bagel and cream cheese are specialty from local places, and they make their own special flavoring for their coffee drinks. I had the pistachio latte and my wife had the lavender-bee latte - the flavoring for both was perfectly balanced and subtle! I cannot more highly recommend a place for great coffee and light breakfast
I’ve been wanting to come in to Graham’s Coffee Parlor for a while now. Finally stopped in today & I’m so so so glad I did. The vibes and energy in there is beyond amazing and calm. Always something I look for when trying to find a nice solo spot for myself. My Iced Caramel Americano, and my Toasted Everything Bagel with the Vegan Chipotle Pepper cream cheese was all a 10/10. Definitely one of my go to solo spots from now🤞🏽 Thank you for the experience girls💕
Really friendly staff and delicious drinks - 32oz iced latte? Love it!
I'm a big fan! For first-time visitors, it's well-worth figuring out the parking (and turning around if you miss it at first): the owner and crew know their stuff, make excellent drinks, and are very friendly. I always like to start with a coffee shop's basics (like the flight of pour over flavors, below), but have a weakness for the chocolatte as well.
This woman-owned business is a cozy, bright coffee shop that has again - delicious, scones, breads, cookies, and on the weekends scrumptious egg bites! The innovative and seasonal flavored latte concoctions blows away that other corporate coffee shop from Washington State. 😉
Great Cold brew and cinnamon bake. I did ask for very little ice and did not get it, not a big deal still delicious.
Ive loved Grahams since they have opened. Ive been in Texas for some time but on a trip home made it a point to come here several times. Their staff is kind even if they are newer and always eager to be at work :) The owner is an absolute boss lady who worked so hard to be here, always keeping new drinks rotating and always putting her own flair on things which you can clearly see by the cute atmosphere. Love love love Grahams!!
Retro feel. Locally sourced products. Music was a little loud, but the staff are chill, helpful, and willing to accommodate.
I finally got to Grahams yesterday. I live very close and have seen and read so many great reviews. First, the vibe is so much more than I expected. Very welcoming and cool. Great variety of seating and plenty of room. The food menu is great. A lot of options to choose from. I went with cinnamon bun overnight oats. Lots of delish and healthy ingredients and topped with sliced banana. To drink, I had a peppermint hot tea. I love my coffee but I was really feelin tea. I'm ready to go back and try another food item and a coffee drink and frequent Grahams as often as possible.
I know I shouldn't post this because every place I recommend all of a sudden gets super busy and then there's always a LINE... BUT THIS PLACE BEATS THE PANTS OFF OF STARBUCKS LOL! EVERYTHING IS CONSISTENTLY THE SAME TASTE EVERY TIME! THERE COFFEE IS SPECIAL, ADDICTIVE, CONSISTENTLY AMAZING AND THE SAME TASTE,AGAIN EVERYTIME. I love hot drinks but summertime has me tasting there cold brews ufff not good for my diet but great for my mood lol 100%♡amazing coffee thanks!
Love Graham's! Kat and team are amazing! Been a regular from the beginning ❤️
Really, one of the top coffee shops in the region. Don't be put off by the location--while it's not easily walkable, there's lots of parking. The coffee is delicious, and they have fun seasonal specials. And the food is great too! This is one of my favorite coffee shops to sit and work in, because the friendly community vibe is so wonderful. The staff get to know their customers and treat them well.
A true gem among coffee shops! My experience at this establishment was nothing short of exceptional. The moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and a genuine passion for coffee that permeated the entire place. The baristas were skilled artisans, creating masterpieces with every cup they served. Whether it was a classic coffee or a creatively crafted specialty drink, each beverage was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I was also impressed with the use of high-quality, ethically sourced beans, which only added to the richness of the coffee. The cozy and tastefully decorated interior made it a perfect spot to enjoy some quiet time or engage in conversation. Without a doubt, this coffee shop has won my heart, and I will keep coming back for more of their delightful coffee and warm hospitality!
I stopped here for the first time today. It has beautiful decorations and feels very welcoming. I got a latte (with a flavor shot), a bourbon pecan blondie and a bagel with a black walnut cranberry cream cheese, which is what made my order a bit more expensive. They have more flavors of cream cheese than most places so it was difficult choosing but I’ll have to come back to try the other flavors. Overall I would say it was very worth the price, everything was delicious, and the employees all seemed happy to be at work!
We were visiting the area and stumbled upon Graham's Coffee Parlor. They make lemonade from freshly squeezed lemons which was fantastic. Coffee was amazing, and I am a picky coffee drinker. The ladies that hold the Parlor were very nice and helpful and service was fantastic. This is a place worth driving to get to I would highly recommend it. Loved my breakfast there! Thank you, ladies, you were amazing!
Great drip coffee and espresso shots. Worth the drive of 5 min from carmax. Had pumpkin bread but other options looked great also.
My favorite coffee shop in the 518 from the unique coffee flavors to the amazing baristas this is always my go to and first recommendation when people as for a good coffee shop. Some of my favorite “highlights” are their seasonal latte flavors- chocolate malt, creamsicle and blueberry honey cake to name a few. They have rotating bagel & cream cheese flavors (pictured was a lemon blueberry cream cheese) but they’ve also had flavors like garlic veggie, carrot cake and jalapeño popper cream cheese to name a few. They also have a pastry case filled with unique baked goods. Definitely a must try!
The customer service as soon as you walk in has you feeling like you're a regular at Grant's coffee parlor. Im on a mission to try Cold Brew wherever I can and it's safe to say that I'll be stopping back here for more. The Acai bowl was great and the scone made it a perfect ending to breakfast. I'm glad to know that there's a coffee shop nearby, past the 3 Dunkin's and 4 Starbucks that I passed, that makes me excited to support local!
Seriously adorable😍😍 The owner is SO sweet and the shop itself is so comfy and inviting! I had an iced vanilla latte and a yo banana bowl. My family had a shrub pop, a peaches and cream and a power up smoothie and ground control juice. We loved everything! Also, everything is eco friendly and that was just the cherry on top! Support small businesses!!!!
I recommend this coffee shop. The staff was so kind and they had a decent amount of seating and a ramp for wheelchair accessibility.
This is an amazing, cute, welcoming and delicious coffee shop. The staff was so kind and friendly and welcoming, they seemed so happy to be here. Their coffee is so good even without syrup or anything else, I had the best almondmilk cortado ever and even just the black drip coffee was so good!!
I’ve been going here for years and never disappointed! Their drinks are always on point and consistent. So many house made options as well!
I absolutely love this Graham Coffee Crew! Their locations decor are a whole vibe that I’m mildly obsessed with. The Team have made me feel beyond welcome as a new comer to this area. Graham is a wonderful representation of when a business folds themselves into the fabric of the community that they make strangers feel like best friends with them and their patrons. I am a Graham lover through and through. My favorite coffee shop in the area by far because who doesn’t want to be welcomed and loved on with that much care and intentionality. PS: I wish I took a picture of me wrapping Christmas presents at their parlor while I indulged in beverages and bagels.
Coffee is very smooth. Good vibe and friendly staff here. The spinach egg bite for me is perfectly balanced between cheese and egg flavor. Oatmeal is also tasty, fresh fruits with a bit maple syrup coming from their homemade granola... Wonderfully flavored. And you can customize the amount of vanilla syrup too adjust the sweetness.
I had my first cup of coffee from Ghrams this past weekend and it was absolutely delicious! I got the Wicked Witch Coffee - dark chocolate and pistachio cold brew YUM.
Great coffee and unique flavors! Never thought I’d like any fruity flavors in my coffee until I tried their creamsicle and key lime pie lattes and they were unexpectedly delicious!! They know what they’re doing here and always help customize the order as well if you want it less sweet (or more). The barista even offered to make me a new drink if I didn’t like the flavor I was trying out because she noticed I was a bit hesitant when ordering. (I ended up liking it, no surprise there!) Haven’t tried much of their food options so can’t comment on that, but their lattes have been consistently good and service is very nice!
Grahams knocked my morning out of the park 🥰 I came in slightly overwhelmed by the menu since it was my first time walking in but the staff walked through it gently and gave recommendations. I tried their new special latte and it is perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. The vegan bagel and cream cheese? To die for. And don’t listen to the review that says they don’t fill a cup for light ice…I got a perfectly filled cup WITH light ice. Clean atmosphere, not too loud music for an early morning moment, and totally worth the $12. What are you WAITING for, a formal invitation? Oh, and as a person with a nonconventional name, props for not only spelling it right after asking, but pronouncing it right when giving me my order. 10/10
So cute, cozy, and warm inside! They also had a nice variety of seating options that my husband with herniated discs appreciated. They had some fun special flavors like black raspberry mocha that did not disappoint and paired beautifully with their espresso. Their mugs are huge and look at that foam, not a bubble in sight - perfection. The staff were also friendly and kind. 10/10
Such a great coffee shop! Got a double shot latte and a "jalapeno popper" bagel (Plain bagel with a jalapeno cream cheese spread). The coffee was amazing and so was the bagel! Highly recommended. Also, the aesthetic of that shop is very trendy and modern. When we went the place was hoppin'. Very friendly staff. They have a large variety of home made pastries and other snacks. Additional Tip: they have limited parking right next to the shop (3 parallel parking spot with a 15 minute line) but then tons of parking in the back! Enjoy!!!
The Cortado and the Cuban Pull are really authentic and the vibe is very chill with a touch of early 90’s/late 80’s pop, somehow balancing between energetic and chill in a great way. We even went back for seconds and the cappuccino is also excellent, more like those you find in Europe. Super cute small cafe, highly recommend stopping in to give it a try!
Love this place! It's so cute and welcoming. My kids loved their smoothies, the coffee is perfect, and the shrub pop (kinda like kombucha) is delicious. All the cups and straws are eco friendly. The owner is so sweet too. You can order ahead if you are in a rush. I absolutely love coffee and I'm excited I found a local coffee shop as an alternative to the usual Starbucks and Dunkin' (and it tastes so much better too!)
Such a cute atmosphere, makes you want to stay all day! I tried an iced decaf latte and it was alright! My husband had a smoothie which was really good. I definitely want to try more of the food/drinks, everything looked so good. Great staff!

This place is super cute inside. Not much seating though!
Fresh and delicious, but keep in mind that the veggie cream cheese is GARLIC veggie cream cheese, amazingly good for a garlic lover like me, but enough to ward off vampires too. Also had the hot pepper scone which is unlike any scone I've ever had....it was soft and buttery, almost biscuit like, I'd go back just for that. The food menu may be small, but that allows them to make great coffee and really fresh treats.
So I've come here 6 times and I'm quite sure this is the last time. It's sad though because I like the atmosphere and the quality of the products are good. I really don't like leaving less than 5 star reviews. Every time I've been I get an Iced Matcha Latte and literally half of the time the Matcha Powder has not been mixed enough and I've gotten clumps of the powder in my mouth. I tip $1 or $2 every time I've been. I've brought this to their attention the last 3 times I've been here at the register before they make my drink and still after asking today... can they please make sure the Matcha Powder is fully dissolved I got a good sized clump of powder in my mouth and more in the bottom of my cup. Everything else at this place looks amazing. Just beware if you're going for Matcha.
I had been wanting to try Graham's for at least a year, the outside is so cute and their roadside signs advertising special coffees sounded good. Stopped in yesterday and I got the blue dream iced tea and Nutella scone. My partner got a flavored coffee (I cant remember the name) and a hit cherry pepper scone. Drinks were underwhelming, my partner didn't finish hers because it was cloyingly sweet. Nutella scone had a noticeably freezer burnt taste. Hot pepper scone was much better! It wasn't bad but it left us disappointed. Customer service was good though!
My wife and I have been regulars here for years (since they opened). The drinks are very tasty and made well, however, when I ask for light ice, I am handed a cup that is clearly not filled all the way. This has happened to me a few times here, but I just assumed it was a new employee. This last time, I complained and was told that this is the owners policy. Here is my message to the owner: If it is costing you too much money to give people a full drink when they ask for light ice (some of us don’t like the drink gone in 5 sips due to excessive ice), then just charge more for a light ice option. I didn’t ask for a 24oz drink in hopes of being handed 20 oz of liquid in a 24 oz cup. Please don’t take this personally, but it’s discouraging when I specifically seek out this place to support a local establishment which I enjoy going to, just to be skimped for probably cents worth of liquid.
Nice design, good coffee and food. Service is terrible. First two ladies have a little confrontation about who will take order. Tall lady made cofees and called me to get them. When I asked about the cakes, she forgot to deliver obviously, she developed an attitude talking slowly and loudly. This coffee needs an urgent team change.
When this place first open it was my favorite place for juices! Specifically, the pretty and pink! I was sad when I called today the young lady said she had no idea what I was talking about. I was excited to try something new but it seems like the place has changed a bit in the past the girls were super friendly, nice and always recommended new drinks. my experience today wasn’t horrible, but it definitely wasn’t welcoming.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time. He ordered the strawberry shortcake iced latte. His latte was bitter and strong. I got the almond cookie iced latte. Which was reasonably better. Tasted like Ameretto. The atmosphere was LOUD. Too many people sitting and waiting with the music sounding over it all. Not a quiet place to work/study and enjoy a coffee. We both ordered an everything bagel. Both toasted. One should have had plain cream cheese, the other garlic and herbs. Both came out burnt and with garlic and herb cream cheese. When doing reviews I always state try for yourself before you judge because my experience could be different then yours. 5/10- only because the staff and service were on point.
I will start off by saying that if zero stars were an option, I would give this place a zero. My mother-in-law just recently came home from being in the hospital for almost a month. She is currently recovering from diabetic complications. Since her condition is improving, we decided to take her out to get coffee and brunch. Upon looking for a nice place to go, we came across Grahams Coffee Parlor. It looked like a cute place with excellent coffee and food. However, the customer service was extremely sub par. After eating her food, my mother-in-law expressed that she felt nauseous. We stepped outside briefly so that she could get some fresh air. Once we came back inside to sit down, the server was cleaning off the table as if to imply that they wanted us to leave. As we were about to sit back down, the manager approached us and said, "if she vomits in here, it would be a health violation and we cannot have you in here." My family and I were taken aback by the lack of compassion that this woman displayed. They had no sympathy for my mother-in-law with her health condition. Needless to say, my family and I will never be coming back to Graham's Coffee Parlor.
