Soi 4 is a great spot for modern Thai food. They've taken classic Thai flavors and given them a really stylish, contemporary feel. The restaurant itself has a cool, modern vibe that makes dining there really enjoyable. I've been going for a year now, and every dish has been fantastic. From their Pad Thai to their curries, and especially the Koi Soi, everything is delicious and well-prepared. It's a consistently great dining experience.

Excellent in all aspects! We got Meang Kum, Paneng Nuea, Pla Duk Pad Ped, Khow Pad Pu, and Mango Sticky Rice. All these are delicious. Pla Duk Pad Ped here is probably better than that of most restaurants in Bangkok, while Khow Pad Pu is non-inferior to authentic fried rice in top Chinese restaurants. Meang Kum is our favorite- the best of Meang Kum we’ve ever had in decades.

Soi 4 offers a modern twist on Thai cuisine, blending traditional flavors with a contemporary flair. The sleek and stylish ambience sets the stage for a wonderful dining experience. Every dish I’ve tried over the past year has been delicious. Everything from the Pad Thai to any of the curries, to my favorite dish, Koi Soi, delivers a tasty and delightful culinary experience.

Met some friends here after randomly picking it because of the great reviews. The reviews were right, this place was great! A touch spendy, don’t come here looking for the $5 mega Thai burger (is that a thing? Maybe it should be)! Anyway, portions were about right, if you’re hungry you won’t likely be splitting a meal. However, bring friends so you can share a bunch of meals, which is what I did with my friends! Sides, including rice are alá carte, be sure to order the coconut rice. How I loved that coconut rice, I’m tempted to go tomorrow and just order like four batches of it and nothing else, it was amaze!

One Word: Delicious! To elaborate, the food had been impeccable and the efficient service made for an easygoing experience. Our assigned waitress had been very friendly, informative regarding the menu, and frequently catered to us throughout our dining experience. In short, I recommend Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery.

I came to this restaurant for a date night during Mother's Day weekend with my husband. We didn't have a reservation but were seated quickly. The service was excellent. The staff is so friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and taken care of during your dining experience. We had the crab fried rice, which was superb, and the fish dish, along with the spicy basil chicken and mango sticky rice for dessert. Everything was so good. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious dishes.

Lovely Thai restaurant in the heart of Scottsdale. I love the modern, contemporary decor. The quality of food was top notch! I had stir-fried vegetables with brown rice. They have outdoor seating and it’s shaded. Our server was super friendly and had a great smile. Highly recommended!

Wanted to find a Thai restaurant for a birthday dinner (my other half LOVES Thai). All of our usual spots are smaller, don't take reservations, or are more casual than what we were looking for. Found some reviews for Soi 4 Bangkok online and thought we'd give it a try. We are SO glad this was the place we chose. The waitstaff was amazing - thank you to our server who was fun and took such great care of us. The food was amazing - for the first time ever, no one at our table of 11 ordered the same thing, and we all just kept passing plates back and forth because it was so good. the cocktails are amazing - I had some sort of Whiskey old-fashioned Thai style with lemongrass syrup - long grain? I cannot remember the name, but it was the best. Thank you, thank you to Soi 4 - you were great hosts and we had an absolutely wonderful (and very special) night. We will be back!!

We absolutely love Soi4, it is our favorite and the BEST Thai restaurant in Phoenix Arizona. I don't really want to call Soi4, Thai OR fusion, it's actually an eclectic, intermixture of fresh and piquant flavors and spices. Here are our favorites Bpeek Gai Tod Crispy chicken wings tossed in Thai chili glaze Pla Muk Tod Thai fried calamari with sweet Sriracha-chilli vinaigrette Larb Gai Salad of minced chicken, nuts, roasted rice, dried chili flakes, and fresh herbs. Pla Sriracha Pan-seared Corvina seabass with garlic pepper sriracha sauce and vegetables Pad Ped Pladook Stir-fried crispy catfish, green beans, squash, & wild ginger with aromatic red curry Roti’ bread and Coconut rice

We made reservations for 8:30pm at Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery on a Saturday night. Our table was ready promptly and we were seated immediately. We started with the recommended appetizer which was a special; Curry puffs with chicken. After service recommendation we also had the mustard leaf with shrimp appetizer as well. both appetizers were beyond good. If we had had the capacity we would’ve ordered another round. Thai peppers on the side as well as fish sauce, chili paste, vinegar, and chili peppers. We both had The run time mixed drink as well as a margarita. The drinks were well yeah garnished and we’re priced appropriately. and they were as delicious as they were attractive. We could not decide between the Seabass entrée and the mixed seafood curry. So we got both! cooked to perfection and seasoned beyond what we could imagine. our only disappointment is that it took us this long to discover Soi 4. The staff make you feel like family and the atmosphere is perfect for couples or large groups. This restaurant will not disappoint. I give it a 10 out of 10.

This is my favorite Thai food in Phoenix. We don't go often because it is more expensive than other Thai restaurants, but when we do go, the food is always fabulous!

The food was absolutely delicious! The Mustard Leaf Wraps are a must! We went 18 minutes before they closed and we were promptly informed they close at 2:30pm. We felt a bit rushed, but rightfully so. The staff was courteous and the restaurant was very clean. Thank you! We will be back!

Our first time at this restaurant and we were very impressed. The food was delicious - I had the yellow curry chicken and mango juice. The curry had a little mild heat and tons of flavor. Service was quick and friendly. We came on a weeknight so there was no wait. It's a cute place. We will definitely be back!

This was our second time here and we will certainly be back. May P our server was super kind and attentive but not pushy. The food came quickly and was exceptional! The atmosphere was lively but relaxing at the same time. You can tell the owners take special interest and attention to provide very good food and friendly service.

Great little Thai spot. We were in Scottsdale for my birthday weekend and this was one of the places I had been wanting to try. They were friendly and the food was delicious. We got the Gai Yang (BBQ chicken), crispy chicken, crab fried rice as well as a few other appetizers. The crab fried rice was some of the best Thai fried rices I have ever had. Gai yang is one of my favorite Thai dishes and has become increasingly harder to find these days and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be going back when back in AZ.

I wish we had tried this place long before now, but better late than never. It's excellent! This isn't your average Thai restaurant. It's creative, and gourmet, and the flavors are incredible. The service was also wonderful. Our waiter was helpful and patient with questions. I can't wait to go back!

Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery is the best Thai food in Scottsdale, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. The cocktails are just as amazing as the food, and the service is outstanding. Owners Kin and Dannie make you feel truly welcome and treat you like family. This is my go-to spot for authentic Thai with unbeatable hospitality!

Went with a large group, and both the food and service were excellent. We ordered the fried whole fish, and they were kind enough to remove the head (at someone else’s request—embarrassing, but that’s a whole other story 🫣😅). We shared everything, and honestly, there wasn’t a single dish I didn’t enjoy. All in all, a super fun night out!

I had a great dining experience at Soi4 Bangkok in Scottsdale. While the prawn rolls could’ve used a bit more flavor on their own, the sweet and sour sauce made up for it nicely. The real standout, though, was the Thai chicken coconut soup—it was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Rich, succulent, and full of authentic flavor. Service was also on point. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had a warm smile the entire time. I truly felt welcomed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Interesting Thai restaurant. I would call it more of a fusion Thai style than traditional Thai. Even some crossover into Chinese cuisine. The name is largely the only thing straight up Thai about the restaurant. We lived in Asia and have been to Thailand many times. So we know what good Thai food is. This is more of American fusion Thai style in a nice Scottsdale atmosphere. That said. The food was very good. Highly recommend the braised beef curry. Probably the best thing on the menu we had. Also enjoyed the Tom Ca Gai soup. Everything is Americanized and tamed for the Western palate for sure. But still very good. Prices are quite steep for Thai food. Easily $24++ per entree and the starters are all in the $13+ range. They even charge for the rice side (which should come standard as part of the entree in my opinion). But that’s just me. Five people (three drinks, 3 starters, soup, and 5 entrees) and the bill was well north of $315 with tip. That’s darn pricy for vegetables, noodles and rice. You are paying for the location in the McCormick ranch area of Scottsdale for sure. We liked the restaurant. But I personally did not see the value in the prices. And because of that - I am unlikely to return. If I am going to spend at this level for a night out, then I am going to Morton’s or Dominick’s for a hundred more. Not for noodles. As I said above, we know Thai food and the only difference between this and a less pricy thai cafe like Z’s House of Thai (not an endorsement) is the price you pay. And you might get more authentic Thai dishes in The cafe’. If you have a thick wallet, please go here. You won’t be disappointed in the food. We simply have a more keen sense of Asian food - based on 22 years living in that region - which may be what makes this come off as more negative review than intended. We did give it 4 stars.

Very good Thai cuisine! The flavors really stand out and the food is made fresh to order. Terrific lunch specials! Spacious restaurant with room for larger groups. Outdoor dining patio is small but very nice.

Food and service were great. We got the roti with beef and split a lunch bowl between 2 of us. One of the better meals we had on our vacation. Everything was very flavorful, generous portions, and came out quickly. The Thai iced tea was also divine.

Overall a great experience every time we go. One of the bartenders, Ta, is super friendly and always makes great drinks. The food is consistently good and they have a really yummy chili vinegar they give on the side (it's SUPER spicy which I love). The leaf wraps are good (although tiny) and the turnip cakes are good although it's a bit too heavy for how large a portion it is. Definitely share that. Wouldn't get the curry puffs again. The braised beef shortribs are phenomenal. My dad doesn't do leftovers EVER, but he ate it the next day. It's quite a large portion too. Drunken beef is also great. The ambiance is fine, nothing to call home about but it's nice for a relaxed evening. The owners are always around which is nice, although sometimes they're a little too obvious with telling servers what they're doing wrong...very no-nonsense and sometimes feels a bit tense in there. Makes for great people watching though :)

Very tasty restaurant! Everything tasted so fresh and light. You can tell that they have a very skilled chef, quality recipes, and quality ingredients. The food tasted delicious because the chef knows what they're doing and not because they are drowning the food in butter or oil. I wish the menu had some more curry options, I love massaman curry, and the service was a little slow. But overall I had a great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Nice ambiance when you walk in , took a while to get attention from staff as the bar attenent is also a hostess . Long wait for the food , but it's worth it ..tasty good food and nice selection on the menu . Not sure why it's extra for rice 🤔, seems like it should be included for the price....

The chicken wings we're delicious 😋, barbecue chicken dry, papaya salad tasty but spicy, chicken coconut soup delicious, pineapple rice not bad. The fried fish was good to big bones, though. Oh, the veggies rolls & dumplings are not bad either. Atmosphere & service was good!

Mediocre, and in my opinion the flavors and portion sizes do not justify the price. The presentation, atmosphere and service are not likely to disappoint, however. I have been to many hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurants that far surpass this place in taste. I would recommend the the short-ribs, as the meat itself was cooked perfectly, however the flavors still felt a little lacking. The pineapple fried rice was bland and, outside of its presentation, could be compared to any fried rice found in a fast-food chinese restaurant. The pad thai lacked the complex menagerie of flavors typically found in most other pad thai. Overall, expect a feast for the eyes, but not the tastebuds.

I must say that I decided to try this place out on a whim. I ordered the wok fried veggies and added tofu. The service was a little slow but not bad. I was brought out water and a small pitcher for refills. Excellent idea. To my surprise they do the same with tea. Upon receiving my food my first impression was taking notice of the vibrant colors and pleasant presentation. I was a bit disappointed at the portion size compared to the price however. The green beans were cooked perfectly with a slight crunch and the ingredients were definitely fresh. The sauce was hands down delicious and could just drink a bowl of it. Overall the restaurant was clean, staff friendly, and food tasty. I would like to see larger portions or lower cost and perhaps a little more variety in the vegetables for the wok fried veggie menu item.

Friendly staff but the food was not what I was expecting from a Thai place. Thai tea was great. Service was long as most places are these days. The chicken wings burned mouth they were so hot plus they were mostly fried batter and not so much chicken. Upon appearance there were green leaves (not sure what the name is) but didn't add to the taste and looked fried like the chicken. The pad Thai was very bland and lacked any Thai flavor you might expect.

The hostess was incredibly rude to me when checking in, I brought a registered/certified service dog and it was clear that she was not happy about this. I was by myself and waited a long time for a drink, long after others arrived after me. The owner, which apparently made my crab fried rice, came out like a paste, definitely not a rice consistency. I sent it back and the waiter brought it back, just as was…same plate same pile of mush. It was explained to me that the owner of the restaurant made the pile of mush and was that I should accept it, due to this fact that the ‘“owner” made it.. VERY disappointed. I have been here a handful of times and this by far is the WORST. I don’t generally leave bad reviews but this one deserves my time to write. Definitely feel discriminated against!!

Unfortunately we will NOT return. I say ‘unfortunately’ because the food is delicious, except it’s their ridiculous add-on charges to items that is normally included in most Thai restaurants. For example, 3 of us shared an appetizer and then 3 separate entrees. When our meals arrived - two of them requiring rice to put the main entree over, we were told that each side rice would cost $2.00. Of course we wanted rice so we ordered 2 separate sides of rice. I only wish I took a picture to show you the extremely tiny sized portion of rice we both received, which was about half a cup. My husband asked to have one egg added to his $18.95 Singapore rice main entree. That charge was $2.50. Keep in mind that it’s not the expensive prices of their food that bothered us, it was the principal of literally ‘milking’ their customers for things that should automatically be included in these meals. Prior to sitting down we told the receptionist that it was our 40th wedding anniversary and chose Soi4 to celebrate it. Not one time did the Server congratulate us, nor offer anything complimentary; this, too, was disappointing. We typically celebrate big events at Ocean 44 and El Charro Lodge, both in Scottsdale, and we always receive compliments and typically a delicious complimentary dessert, or two glasses of their house wine. So yes, Soi 4 was a FAIL, and though their food is delicious we don’t wish to support any establishment that goes above and beyond to take advantage of their customers, ‘milking’ them for every little thing that should be included in the first place.

Thankfully, I don’t have to write too many of these… My darling, and I just wrapped up a double date and we were all equally surprised at the extent of just how poor the service was. Granted, our server was lovely as a person, but the wait time was excruciatingly long. She forgot a drink, two dishes as well as a request for extra plates. The food was tasty, but not tempting enough to return after such a poor experience. I will say, a bright spot in all of this was the woman at the front who I believe was the owner as she was featured in a photo on the wall... I asked if they had tissues, and she went out of her way to bring me an entire box! Visit the restaurant if you are not on a timetable and you don’t mind repeating your order multiple times. Again, it could’ve just been a server, as adorable as she was, who perhaps was green, or maybe this is just the environment of the restaurant.

I am a local Paradise Valley resident I attempted to have a quick meal by myself this evening I am always polite and say please thank you etc. I too many years ago in college was a waitress...the young woman was friendly who sat me and I quickly said no drinks and ordered a cup of soup(9.00 btw)and bc I was cold I asked to please bring that and I would then order something else...I waited over 15 minutes and an Asian couple who came in close by ordered and got their large soup asap...the waitress never returned for my second order and clearly had no intention of bringing the soup in any timely manner...I kept looking at her across the room and absolutely no reaction! This is my second time there and they were borderline rude the first time...the food is overpriced for average food...I will never go again...BTW most of my friends in PV feel the same way....very rude women there...unless you are Asian or appear Uber rich!
