Wendy's

These days, it can be all too common an occurance to be disappointed by a fast-food experience. I'm delighted to say that, here, at this Wendy's on Sunrise Highway in Seaford, that is not the case. Especially when compared to places like KFC. Firstly, one can appreciate the care taken in maintaining a clean and tidy dining room. A room free and clear of things like, for instance, garbage on the tables and dirty floors, or even puddles of water on the floor from the air conditioning vents (discussed next); things otherwise found at places like KFC. The second thing is the pleasant climate control temperature. It's a perfect comfortable eating environment, not the third ice age. KFC could learn something. The third, and arguably most important aspect, the food. It is always of consistent quality and very tasty, well constructed, and notably not priced as though an elementary school student got into the number magnets. Plus, I really appreciate how the definition of "Sauce" for Wendy's contrasts that of KFC, namely that it doesn't mean "some particles loosely suspended in oil." All in all, always a pleasant experience! ^_^

Best Fast Food spot. Food is better then any other Fast food place, in my opinion. A little more expensive then McDonald's but definitely worth it.

2 stars because at the end of the day it's still Wendy's food but the staff at this Wendy's is always so happy and so kind that they, without a doubt, get 5 stars because never in my life have I walked into a fast food place where I actually feel welcome. They are always polite, smiling (even behind masks) they treat everyone with respect and are just excellent people

Stopped in for a quick bite and picked up a 4 for $4 deal. I got my favorite small burger, a junior bacon cheese burger, with a small side of fries and chicken nuggets with a drink. You can't go wrong with this combo, which is bacon, lettuce, tomato on a small cheese burger with 2 sides. The meal was good and the drive thru service was great. Perhaps, as a future upgrade, Wendy's might consider making the same sandwich with a larger size burger.

The lunch was satisfying, it was very family friendly, not crowded, fast service. I tried a new salad which was delicious and healthy with avacado. I got my free senior drink with no problem.

Shout out for excellent customer service for manager and workers on -afternoon shift on 5/22/22 (after 3:30 pm). I went to the Wendy’s on Sunrise Highway in Seaford NY to buy a party pack of chicken nuggets for my adult disabled brother. It’s pretty much the only food he will eat. After realizing I forgot my wallet, I figured I would use Apple Pay. After I got to window they said Wendy’s doesn’t do Apple Pay. Since I had no money - I told them I had to cancel order and the manager authorized the cashier to give to me for free. When I told them who the meal was for and that my sisters usually drive in to pick up the weekly nuggets… the cashier said “oh I know you you mean”. It was a very nice gesture by the manager and cashier!!!! Thank you!!!

I went in and order breakfast meal and it was delicious. I had the biscuits with sausage and cheese with coffee. The staff were friendly and this location was clean.

Wendy's, in my opinion has the tastiest, most well constructed burgers in fast food. Whenever I get a burger here,the patty is perfectly centered on the bun. Tomato, onion and the lettuce is CRUNCY. The crunch is a nice thing. Wendy's burgers are 5 stars Fries are good too

I’m genuinely surprised by the negative reviews. This place gets insanely busy, and despite that I’ve never had a problem with my order. Drive through was fast as it could be and the staff were fine. I love this place.

Haven't been to a Wendy's on over 20 years. Was pleasantly surprised at the pretzel bun burger... Very good! Fries were good, not McDonald's good... But good. The dude behind the counter was a total grump. A bit snippy and short with customers. Nonetheless, I don't do fast food much these days... But the burger was good! 😊

The customer service was excellent at this location. The food was prepared perfectly. I was not crazy about the coffee.

At of all of the fast food restaurants, I find Wendy's to be a step above the rest. Especially when it comes to freshness, cleanliness and quality.

It's was good, but they didn't give us our fries hot llike our burgers .

Always a solid spot for fast food. However, sometimes they don't have some of the basic. most common foods ready when they're not crowded.

I have two children who prefer McDonald's only because of the happy meal packaging and toys are more fun. As for the actual food I think Wendy's is much better! This particular location is okay. I sometimes wait longer than I would like at the drive through and the always get my confusing orders accurate as we are a family of six who all like different alterations to the food (6 burgers one with no pickles, one with no onions, one no ketchup.....)

Update!!! They must have new workers bc I have been going here for yrs and lately I've been having alot of issues w my orders. My nuggets came completely burned in the bag!! I I might stop coming here and just go somewhere else for lunch 🤢🤢 ------------- Food is cooked pretty well.. I come here often but the last two visits my 5 for 4 came with only 4 nuggets!!!!!!! I specifically ordered this meal for the extra nuggets because I like to feed it to my dog. Someone here needs training !!!

Ordered the $5.00 biggie bag as take out . The chicken sandwich I asked for was more than warm , but not hot . The 4 chicken nuggets were tasty and hot , as though just prepared in the deep fryer . The French fries 🍟 were plentiful and also just out of the oil . The self serve soda fountain had a large choice of drinks, and ice wasn't needed to chill it down 👍👍👍👍 . The counter person was friendly , easily understood , and very helpful at the time I was ordering my meal . She asked if it was to go or to stay ( nice ) - very professional . I was asked if I would like to donate to the Dave Thomas charity - I declined as I had done so at another store . All in all - a nice experience. 👌

Wendy's are better burgers less greasy. They are also faster service than other places.

Clean in dining area but barren. They now use Door Dash to deliver, sign that business is slowing down in restaurant so branching out to homes. Ants crawling on floor in bathroom and only garbage is in handicap stall....weird.

Small not an option on meal, drives price up. Fries weren't as hot and fresh as they proclaim. Late nite drive thru. Back to the guy next door..

Quiet Wendy's. They don't take order in person so you have to use the kiosk. The 5 for $5 deal is pretty good

I always thought of Wendy's as my favorite fast food burger place but , the last few months I have not been impressed with the quality of the food and the overall poor customer service, I wish you were better , Covid-19 has killed a lot more than just people .... sorry to say 😟

Love the chili and the avocado salad is so good! Drive-thru is not so great. If you don’t ask for a straw for a drink, sauce for your nuggets, etc., they just don’t ask or don’t throw it in the bag for you. WTH!!

In many ways, Wendy's is tops, but today I encountered very salty chicken atop their summer strawberry salad. It may have been marinated severely. The salads at adjacent Mario seem more healthy.

Rude service in drive thru. Burger was lukewarm at best, fries weren't fresh and frosties were wrong flavors.

We ordered a 2 Fish Sandwiches. We drove away and took a bite of the sandwich and realized they gave us 2 Chicken Sandwiches. Can't even get an order right! Won't be back!!

Quality has gone down majorly in the past month burgers are edible but they seem to be either borderline stale or overcooked and dry like rubber and special order items like the new burgers with onions are always worse than the normal burgers either with how they are put together or how fresh/not dry the burger is.

I like their food but their service is absolutely terrible at this location. We just left after waiting 15 minutes on a line that didn't move, when there were only three people ahead of us. The person at the front of the line didn't place an order for at least 10 minutes (it wasn't her fault. No one came to the register to ask for her order). They also lose or mess up our online order whenever we go there. Like the last time we went there, our online order never got sent to their computer. If you're going to go to this location, do yourself a favor and go to the drive thru. You still have to wait but they're most efficient at the drive thru.

Food was good very good but, service was NOT good. It was dark outside and there menu lights were not on so you couldn’t read to see what you wanted because no one would just go and flip the switch and turn them on really. So then we were told we could come inside so we did there was no one in line but us and we waited for 15-20 minutes then this girl finally came and she was rude and rolled her eyes at us and she was like how can I HeLPP you and was like hold on served the person that just came in then us . That girl just kept rolling her eyes and you could probably hear her rolling them from a mile away

This location had suddenly changed. The order took a very long time, employees blasting music and not in a hurry , the eating area was disgusting with garbage scattered around.

Its a Wendys, so you know what you’re getting. Management doesn’t care though. Ive seen the manager unprofessionally yelling at staff and customers. He likes to say “if you don’t like it go to burger king!” Not a good attitude for a manager to have.

They are literally one of the worst when it comes to making sure everything’s in the bag. This is like the 6th time Iv gone there an come home and somthing is missing. How hard is it to check the damn bag to the order.

There are very few guarantees in life, but one of them is that this Wendy’s location will get your order wrong. And I hope you like your nuggets dry, because they ALWAYS, 100% of the time, forget your sauce.

I always use the mobile app to order exactly what I want. For some reason the last 2 times I ordered hear they gave me the wrong thing. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich no lettuce and lite mayo. I got a chicken sandwich with bacon and swiss cheese. People order specific things because they might have allergies. Please be more precise in READING and filling orders.

Mobile ordering is inconsistent. Like one day I placed an order for 5:00 waaaaaay in advance. When I came at 5:00, they hadn't even started making the order... I waited 20 minutes. Another day I came on time and the food seemed like it had been sitting out for quite awhile. Other than that, the food is decent; it's what you'd expect for fast food.

So part of my order consisted of two Frosties. The vanilla one turned out good, while the chocolate one seems like Wendy's tried to pull the ultimate April Fools prank. This doesn't usually happen, but I was pretty dissapointed to find this considering I had to wait 20 minutes for my order.

The food portions are what they used to give in Happy Meals. It is mostly all bread. My friends did not like it. Will not be back. Prices are too high to get such poor quality. The fries also were cold and old. Not worth it.

This is the third time I've arrived at 9:45am and they never have chicken ready. They make me wait until they prepare the chicken. I'm late for work because you guys don't have a chicken ready. 10min waiting. Appalling!

went to go order a meal at the drive threw with my friends, and when we got there to pick up the food, we were greeted with an attitude by a worker named gianna. we told her we were also picking up a mobile order and in a snappy tone she said “you have to tell us in advance not when you get here”. then she handed us the mobile order and never handed us our other meal until we asked. she got even more mad that she had to hand us the other bag. overall bad experience from gianna and this girl needs to be spoken to!!

I hate leaving bad reviews but this location may need some help. I had gone to Wendy’s in Levittown for 20, years, always great, and now I’m in Massapequa. So tonight on my way home around 9:30 PM I was craving chili and went through the drive through here (Seaford). It was $8 and something, and I didn’t receive my change from a $10 but I was so hungry, tired & wanted to get home that I didn’t care. There was a line, the person in front of me left, the kid may be a bit slow and that’s fine but, I’m telling you what happened here. There was no thank you or have a good night, just handed me everything besides my change and turned his back. Usually the chili is so hot that I can’t eat it for a half hour so thank goodness I also got a kid’s meal to eat on the way home. I hadn’t had dinner yet due to my extra stressful day. So I get home and stir up the chili. It was barely warm. There was a huge chunk of what I hope is part of a hamburger patty- but why? (See photo). Twitter wouldn’t let me reply and I feel too bad to embarrass the entire establishment by tagging them with the photo, it’s not nice and a one time happening. I’ve been to this location twice though. It’s supposed to be ground meat, always has been- something isn’t right here. I taste it and it’s actually so bad that my passive self can’t even eat it because of my intuition yelling at me to not eat it. Out of all my Google reviews, and the other choices along the way home, this is the only place that I can truly say I will never go to again. Something isn’t right here. Please be careful.

I placed a large order considering it was for 7 people and I was very nice to the staff so the attitude that I received from the manager was totally unacceptable. He complained that I placed a large order saying they are short staffed and that “people need to understand this” but I never said anything indicating there was an issue with me waiting for my order. After the manager accidentally threw out my receipt and I asked for it he barked at me that my order is “going to be a while we are short staffed” and again I said absolutely nothing so I don’t understand why he felt it was necessary to say this to me. I responded saying that’s ok it’s no problem, I never said anything about the wait so I’m confused. He then told me that “it’s going to be a while, I’m not killing myself for anyone anymore” - this attitude from the actual manager is totally rude and disrespectful, never did I complain about anything at all but since I was basically shamed for placing a large order I felt I should warn anyone else who may potentially place a large order at this location during the week around 6 PM.

sadly they stopped serving the only thing that would make me go to wendy's. the grilled chicken sandwich's. Only thing they had that put them above every other greasy take out. once they stopped serving it I stopped going. Used to go 3 or more times a week. haven't been back in many months. so sad bad idea corporate had.

My friend and I went to this Wendy’s two nights ago. When we pulled up we noticed that only one employee out of five had their masks on properly. Out of the other three, two had them hanging on their chins and the other two didn’t have them on at all. We decided to skip eating here!

Do not go there for any late night snacks. During the day and especially during prime meal hours the food is standard Wendy's quality. At night though, good God does the quality suffer. It's almost as if they cook everything for the night by 7pm and leave it under the warming lights until closing. Fries are rubber and the nuggets are Luke warm.

Went to the drive up window to order, they refused to take my order. "You must come by car to be served". Good, so seemingly Wendy's is handling the crisis well and makes enough money. Their competition next door also serves pedestrians and cyclists through the window outside. Good bye, Wendy's, you never gonna see me again. One customer less to worry about.

I went there on a thurday night to get the Regular Chicken Sandwhich Combo instead I got a spicy Chicken Sandwhich and A Drink No Fries and on top of that the manger did not even say thank you or have a nice day just handed me the bag no acknowledgement thats rude being like that to a paying customer I know I am white and have a young face and body but mot to treat me like a peace of garbage just because I go there a lot so be carefull when you come here just warning everyone who goes there and is young

They’re so rude. I placed a mobile order and they’re getting mad at me because I have to go back around and they have a car waiting for their stuff in front and there is LITERALLY nowhere to go. I’m waiting 15 mins. HORRIBLE!

I went to the drive-through for a simple order, a kid meal with just cheese on the bun, No meat or anything else. The girl, taking orders, took her three times to get it right, And I apologized that I couldn’t understand hert. when I went to the window she Asked me something four times and again we couldn’t understand her! She was asking just cheese on the bun. OK that’s what I asked for., She was preoccupied joking with another employee. I paid her and I said to my granddaughter, let’s pull over to make sure it’s right and something told me to check my receipt, only to find out she didn’t return my credit card.. Had I not pulled over in the parking lot I would’ve went home to North Bellmore to have to go back to get my card .! This was a very frustrating deal, I walked to the window with a smug look on her face she handed me my card! I didn’t have to ask for it. Right from my car I called this location. Spoke to the manager. He didn’t pay attention to a word I said and yes, I speak clear English and he’s asking employees if anybody found a credit card.? I raised my voice because I couldn’t believe he’s asking if anyone found my card. It was all so frustrating.! First of all as a manager, you don’t put someone at the window with a broken accent. I called him and her a name.,, Not the worst in the book, he was trying to resolve something for me, but I don’t know what all I needed was for him to listen! I apologize for raising my voice and for what I call him it’s so not my style and I truly love feeling terrible. But chezz man get your act together!

The new management and staff are not like the old management and staff. The old management and staff were great. Under the new management this is what happened to a good customer like me that goes there a couple of times a week for ten years. I went to get a refill on my drink and they were giving me a hard time, staff talking about me behind my back and manager came up to me while I was exiting the door questioning me about it. I will not go back again to this location. They lost a good customer over a refill. If you don't want the customer to take a refill you shouldn't have a refill machine. I think they are trying to be cheap with the refill because the sodas are only a dollar now which is a good marketing plan to draw customers in but I will never ever go back to this location again!!!!!

their Attitude is very rough. i am also used to work in fast food chain. I went their for my delivery order. they say that its not ready. i was waiting 15 minitues. After that i ask for that it was ready when i arrive but the lady with at nkght shift told me not ready thats sick

The girl working the drive thru window on 6/27/24 between 8-8:30pm left a lot to be desired- barely audible on the drive thru speaker, laughing, could not figure out my mobile order (illiterate perhaps? don't mobile orders appear on a screen?) at the pick up window-all around unprofessional. Lost my business. I would rather head to Burger King or McDonalds down the block next time for a better experience and professional drive thru staff. Management, do yourself a favor and place this one on clean up tasks and away from your customers-although I suspect she will not be able to perform clean up well either. LOL. The female manager here asked me to wait for 20 minutes. There were no guests. The service was too poor. She said that she didn't see my order, so no one took care of it. You couldn't see the order I placed on your app, and asked me to find a way by myself. It's so funny.

Normally this Wendy's location is a good one, but I've never gone there for breakfast before this past Sunday. I placed my order at the drive through and was told to park in a spot and wait - someone would come out to me with my order. After 20 minutes of sitting in an almost empty lot, empty restaurant, watching 3-4 cars place and receive their drive thru orders, I went inside. I was told someone was being trained AND they had a lot of orders for "sausage" so they were waiting for more to be made. After another 10 minutes I went back in to get a refund, saw a girl was packing my order. She asked if I wanted a "free cookie or something". I declined and asked for the drinks I had ordered. Reply was "oh....you want a coffee?" I showed her my receipt with the drink orders I had paid for and as she made them I silently vowed to avoid this Wendy's for breakfast in future.
