KING burger the best ever!!! :)

Awesome place to eat, visit with family or friends or just to get out of the heat for a refreshing drink.

I stopped here in 2014 and did not enjoy anything about the place. Tried it again in 2017 and enjoyed it very much. It is under new ownership and they better at running a restaurant than the previous owners.

I've eaten here quite a bit and everytime the food is ready fast and always tastes really good!

Dixie Dog is great. It looks run down and old, but the food is good , especially the chili. I go here everytime I am in Seagraves.

Highly recommend the King burger. 2 hamburger patties cheese, chicken ham bacon the veggies and fries for $14 helluva deal. And the audacity of the place down the street to sell a normal small cheeseburger no fries no drink for $9 when u can get this King!

I tell you what my daughter went to get me a chicken sandwich today and brought it to me and is one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever ate in my life it was really good they did really good job whoever made it they did good

The only place in the world (I'm assuming) that serves "super dogs" not corn dogs. And they're HUGE! The fries are also delicious- order only one though bc it's a massive amount. We didn't go in, but it's a tiny, very old place.

Best service and the burgers are AMAZING. I highly recommend anyone to stop in and enjoy a great meal at a reasonable price. I try to stop in every chance I get

I drive from TULIA and stop here in Seagraves instead of Lubbock at least once every couple of weeks on my way to Hobbs to care for my parents. You can't beat this place. Food is great, service is awesome and prices are exceptional. MY FAV FOOD❤️😍

We love Dixie dog. And although prices have gone up(totally understand) we still eat there at least once a week! There is nothing like it around!

Growing up this place was a childhood staple of mine. Many times restaurants have come and gone in the small town of Seagraves but the Dixie Dog has never gone under and has always strived. I've been through all stages of life with that small restaurant and I hope to continue going with my daughter and show her the joy that is Dixie Dog. Overall 9/10, never had a problem and the food is great:).

New ownership has resurrected a great place to eat. Portion sizes are back to a generous size at a fair price. Everything I've had since they took over has been excellent.

Stopped by on the way back from Odessa. Haven't been to this Dixie Dog before, but did not disappoint. Some of the best burgers you will eat in my opinion.

This establishment is one of a kind and definitely worth the short drive from Lubbock. Everything be ever had has been fresh and tasty, but those chocolate shakes…ooooh….that’s what dreams are made from.

Hands down the best hometown cooking. The chicken tidbits are absolutely the best chicken that you've ever ate the coconut Dr pepper is out of this world the owners and the staff are extremely friendly one of the best places to eat around here in this area in West Texas go give them a try you will not be disappointed!!!!!!

The Original Dixie Dog is superior to any corn dog. One dog is a meal. The chili cheese dog is also the best chili cheese dog to be found anywhere.

I’m here too often, the burgers are amazing, my kids love their fries, and their salads are also very good. They also make specialty drinks so if your into strawberry blueberry lemonade or something more out there I’m sure they’d make it. ☺️

I have been eating at Dixie Dog for over 50 years!! My memory tells me "Garland's Dixie Dog," when I first ate there! The food has always been great. Yes, there have been times it could have been better, but overall, the food has been very good!!

On the outside this place looks like any other small town dining establishment, but on the inside is some of the bestest food you will find for small town dining. From their burgers to their chicken bits, it is quality food. I recently had the kid sized chicken bits. They were yummo with the combination of perfect crunchiness and bite sized portions. The okra complemented the bites. Next time I will ask for the okra to be slightly burnt, with a side a ranch. Cherry limeades are the bomb! You simply cannot go wrong with supporting this local business.

When I stayed in Seagraves, first thing I did was eat at the Dixie Dog. I went back multiple times because it was so delicious. Pro-tip: The CC MELT with hash browns covered with green chile is AMAZING. Make sure you get extra chile!! The service is incredible, the history of the building and it's long-standing service to that community speaks for itself. Also, you can't go wrong with the milkshakes or the refreshers that they make!! Everything's delicious and they truly care about the quality of their food. To touch base on the parking: It is a very popular spot to eat. They fill up fast but there are alternatives. It's worth the wait. And it's worth the small inconvenience to eat here. Trust me.

This is what you’re looking for in small town Texas! Truly home cooking! I live in Lubbock, but anytime I am near Seagraves, I’ll try to eat at the Dixie Dog. My favorite is the corn dog. It’s hand dipped and freshly fried! One is more than a full meal. I try to talk myself into trying other things, but since I only visit occasionally, then why would I miss out on a corn dog? Last time my husband ordered the chicken fried steak basket. It was delicious! It was a nice size piece of tender steak, fried to perfection, served with home made cream gravy and fries. He loved it. And, he loved my corn dog!!! I recommend the Dixie Dog!

What can I say? Scenic route to most big cities, but this little restaurant is one of those iconic little hideaways. Is it greasy? Yes. Wonderfully so. There’s love and friendliness just wafting off the food, and in the greetings given by those who work there. We’ve always gotten a smile, asking how I’m doing, how much my son has grown. This little hideaway helped me break through some of my son’s sensory issues by making food fun. Especially with chili and cheese being mixed. Will you have to wait a bit when they’re busy? That happens with any restaurant, small or large. My opinion is I’d rather wait an hour for hearty and greasy food with a feeling of family instead of a robotic greeting larger places push off and an hour and a half or more wait.

This place is like a second home! Small town living can be hard but the staff at Dixie make you feel like you’re at home! The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh! The service is ALWAYS excellent! That’s why they stay busy because locals know what an amazing place this is and we can’t say anything other than AMAZING things about the owners and their staff! Good food for a town that doesn't have a lot to offer in the way of food. Service could be faster, but it's worth the wait.

Great little stop over for a delicious burger. Biggest problem we had is that they do run out of product. When we stopped by, they only had sprite and powerade, which wasn't that big of a deal. They were also out of their chocolate fried cakes, which sounded delicious. The ladies there are friendly, if a bit busy, but you're guaranteed a fresh plate of food.

Just driving thru, grabbed a couple dogs and onion rings which were made quickly and were all fresh. The batter on these giants is fluffy and slightly sweet. Dogs are juicy and the onion rings were just right. Definitely will be a regular stop on our Lubbock voyages.

CC melt was good but I did not get a lot of chicken with mine and they forgot the green Chiles I payed for. Fried snickers was overwhelmingly sweet, I only recommend it for those with a big sweet tooth.

I stopped in this afternoon. I was greeted by a very kind and respectful young man. The light hearted atmosphere was very well received and my time here was a true pleasure. I ordered the dixie dog and fried ocra. My wife ordered the cheese burger and fries. Overall the meal was excellent and had the potential to be phenomenal. The dixie dog was really good, only lacking a bit of salt or a light seasoning to the batter to be great. The cheese burger was a 7.5/10 again needing a touch of salt and pepper. I really loved my experience here and will be visiting this little diner again.

Decent quality, large portions, and high prices, which makes it better than average for an oilfield area eatery. Would I eat here if it was in lubbock? Nope, but for seagraves, it's probably the best option.

After a full renovation and the fact that there is major construction in front of the business make this place hard to get to but the place was packed so much that drive thru service was not at its best. After getting our food there was no where to park. So nevertheless a bad experience over all. But the food was good.

I usually like this place, but today my husband came home with two corn dog orders that were completely gross. One was so small, it was pathetic. Suspicious, I pulled off the breading and, sure enough, half the dog was gone. For all we know it could have been bitten off. I checked the second one, and it was still raw dough inside. The worker obviously did not care. We live too far away to go back and get it fixed. Disappointed.

So just left this place and was not at all satisfied. I ordered a double meat and when i got it the bread was soggy and old and smashed. Looked bad so I ask for new buns and they came out the same way. I will not be eating here again. They have given up.

horrible service. the two ladies at the window and the lady over the phone were very rude. we ordered food over the phone and got there and they didnt even make it. they accused us of hanging up on them... which didnt even happen. we didnt get our food and we were treated poorly. this place used to be so great and the people were very friendly... not anymore.

It used to be better. The food used to be great and the staff were cool but not today. Today the hamburgers were fried dry and the French fries looked like someone had battered McDonald's fries. Sadly we drove 45 for this. Not trying to be mean but something here has changed. Over priced for the food. I got a chili cheese combo for $12.00. Honestly wished I would have never stopped. Went thru drive thru and asked for a menu and couldn’t find one. Smh Chili was good the rest was mediocre at best. I recommend stop at Allsup’s instead for a burrito. Better than their chili dog combo.
