The original sandwich tastes like the Schlotsky's sandwich I first had while attending UT Austin back in the middle ages. Friendly staff. Pleasant experience all the way around.

This place is always awesome. Food is always fresh, and pizza is delicious. Good healthy alternative to fast food burger joint. Staff has been friendly and helpful. Decor inside is cool, and food comes out fast. My personal favorite is the Smokey cheesy collection. Best sandwich shop ever!!

I absalutly loved the food and the people there. There were these two ypung girls, one had bangs and the other girl had short brown hair. They were so sweet and so great at their job.

Visited this place a couple of years ago and I thought the flies were going to carry me away and the place was a mess/dirty. My visit 2 days ago was totally opposite, clean/neat and the sandwich was very good. Must be under new management or the existing management got its stuff together.

Excellent loaded Angus beef and cheddar cheese sandwich with lettuce and onions and tomato. So good! Joanne was the only server. She was just precious and very personable! Great customer service. I definitely will stop here again on my next trip through town. I ate the whole medium sized which was more than I usually eat. Too delicious to stop eating. The calories are listed for each meal. Food was good. There isn't a Schlotzsky near me so when traveling, we like to eat there rather than the typical fast food. The attendant could have been friendlier; she acted like she could care less. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean; the food was good and fresh.

I went through the drive through at store 2597. The voice on the speaker was very cheery, so clear, and not hurried as most drive through restaurants can be. In fact ( I told Jasmine) she should teach others her method. Also I’m sure she pays attention to good training. We’ll done. As always the Turkey sandwich was out of this world.

Awesome service - Izzy was polite and helpful. The food was great and I love that it was served on an actual plate. I was also very pleased that they had Macadamia Nut cookies!! The one we frequent in Houston quite offering them. I thought it was company wide. Thank goodness that's not the case. It is a little far from the freeway, but worth it.

I have mixed feelings about this Schlotzsky's location. The food is mostly good unless they mess up your order, which is way too often for me. They often put the wrong meat in my sandwich. They also argue about getting a pickle. Every other Schlotsky's location will give you a pickle upon request. You have to fight for your pickle at this location. When you spend $12 dollars on a sandwich, they really can't throw in a 5¢ pickle? Pathetic. Schlotzsky's DOES have the very best gluten-free bun in the business! I really like the Chicken Bacon Smokecheesy. My husband like the original and the different pizza options. Their chips are really good, too.

I drove 4 miles out of my way to get there but, as always with Schlotzsky’s, it was so worth the small detour. I was traveling through, so I just went through the drive-through. The sweet young lady at the window was incredibly kind and very helpful. She even graciously laughed at my stupid joke. 😂 If I know there is a Schlotzsky’s nearby, I will gladly pass up other places and go out of my way to get there. I was not disappointed, it was delicious.

Wanted to try something new and we were very satisfied with not only the taste but the sizes of our sandwiches! I had the chicken bacon club, she had the Fiesta and we had the meals that comes with a choice of chips and drink. We also tried the brownie. Definitely returning! They had good service.

It was good, but they've started doing something different with the meat. I prefer the thinly-sliced meat, which makes it easier to bite into.

Very friendly staff and the food was great. We ordered 3 pizzas and a BBQ Brisket Sandwich. I would have given 5 stars if the pizza had more of that delicious sauce in it.

It was not the best Schlotsky's sandwich I have e er had, but it was not terrible. It had less filling than any sandwich I have had from Schlotsky's and was not put together very well. Staff was super nice and helpful.

I enjoy the Original so much that I usually order two mediums and a salad with Ranch style dressing. They have been short handed lately but the quality and flavor has not suffered.I have been a fan since that little place in Austin in the 70s.

Yay, they brought back the Cuban BBQ sandwich, which is excellent. This place is usually packed. I gave them a four star because more than twice there's this annoying fly that loves it there. We also ordered the turkey sandwich and pepper chips. You have to try them. They're so good. Pizza is always good and we usually order one to take home with us. Although we eat there, we always have to get a to go box because their portions are large.

I went through the drive through. There was only one other car in queue, and between his order and mine, I was there more than ten minutes. The sandwich I ordered was well prepared and the service was friendly making up for the wait.

Drive thru wait was not too bad for what I ordered and a car in front. The calzone was not fully closed but still really good. The avocado Turkey is always good. And I love that they have Cinnabon. The staff was very polite even though I didn't know what I wanted

I love Schlotzsky's! My go-to is the Original with jalapeno chips! This location is always fast and friendly. The cashier was a little soft spoken but I think she was new and hopefully will open up a little as time goes by. My only complaint is that I wish it was more affordable.

Great food and service. Smaller kitchen so be prepared for an extended wait when dining during noon rush.

Normally I'm pretty happy with the value provided by schlotskys but... Giant? $15 sandwich? I put a 12 oz coke next to it as well as a SMALL regular sandwich for scale. Pretty wimpy for the price.. I'm sure it tastes good but thats not giant...

Don't go through the drive thru unless you want to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich. Love the food, it's fine going inside, but the drive thru needs some help. Or a fire under their butt. Also, they'll get your order wrong anyways, so don't try to change it.

I made an online order at or around 5:30 they said 20 minutes, I got there at 6:05... they opened the service window and said it was be a few minutes longer..I had to wait almost 13 minutes longer ...I got other sandwiches that I didn't order. But I do love schlotzsky's, you just need better employees

Ordered online it said it would take 10 minutes. Ended up waiting about 25 minutes. Besides that the food was good. Better off ordering when you get there probably be faster.

I have a love hate relationship with Schlotzsky's. Their food is pretty good, when its correct. About half the time I visit my order is incorrect, or they don't have things prepared (ie. Tea, or cookies for the kids meals). The customer service here is just as inconsistent. Sometimes you will get great customer service, and other times you get incompetent service which leaves me frustrated. For instance, back when the lobby was open, there were multiple times I visited and the employees would be in the back and wouldn't even notice there were guests at the register. I personally avoid Schlotzskys because I typically end up very frustrated, but in the off chance I actually do visit and it is a decent experience, the food is worth it.

Place was clean and the food was ok. My grandson said he normally has more meat and fillings in sandwiches at other Schlotzky's locations and it usually tastes better. Also had many flying insects inside the dining area and had to wait for someone to come out from the back to the counter for quite a while.

The bread on my sandwiches were missing an ingredient and they were flat and tough! Horrible food except the flat bread, it was great!

We had an excellent chicken avocado flatbread, Applause all the way around on that one! We could not eat it inside though, because the place just smelled awful. It wasn't quite like a cleanser, but I would put it somewhere between a cleaning chemical and a musk. It didn't seem to be coming from anyone source, either.

Had a problem today remembering the sandwich I usually get I couldn't think cause of what the cashier had on her face who does that yo themselves anyway? What if it falls out into someone's food that was gross major gross to the 10th degree. But I didn't say anything but I sure check for that thi k in my sandwich. Gross

The food was good, but the workers looked kinda dirty. The cashier was fine, but I swear we saw the cook or whoever he was do a drug deal in the lobby with a big dirty guy who was there for a job interview. It was weird.

The store in Seguin on 123 was awful as far as service last night 8-25 had ordered on line and when I went to pick it up I checked the bag and didn’t see one of the sandwiches I had ordered so I parked went inside and a girl came out and said it’s in there it was under a dish of mac&cheese another sandwich and au jus for the French dip was smashed flat and her response was its a French dip it’s suppose to be flat, really no I’m sorry I will make another room nothing and the other kid a male said it makes it easier to eat. These places hire young kids that aren’t trained properly and have no respect for the public will never go here again.

The food was great but We couldn't get the attention of the young lady working the counter. She was too busy talking to the kitchen help. Mens' bathroom door was broken so no privacy was available if you wanted to use it.

Food is decent. Overpriced but decent. Occasionally, service us quick and friendly. More more often though, you'll be waiting in the drive thru for 20+ minutes. Service quality goes up and down as the store is a revolving door for employees.

This location is only getting a lower rating because of staffing issues. When we visited they claimed that other staff recently quit and they are working on hiring more people and training them. If this location does manage to hire good staff that's friendly and is able to prepare the food correctly then I will revise this review, but as of August 2021 I would still avoid this location. Schlotzsky's in general has amazing food that I highly recommend over any sandwich shop. We always get the medium sized meal and there is tons of meat on it and frequently I only eat half of the sub because they are so big and I'll save the other half for later.

First off, i want to statr that the food was perfectly fine. However, the service was quite lack luster. The younger employees were to busy conversing with their friends to help paying customers. One of their friends was also illegally parked in handicapped parking. Secondly, one of the employees was dumping the water they were draining outside the front door causing customers to have to walk through it. Finally, the older lady who was working was very polite, professional and was hustling to get stuff done.

I was at the drive threw and I told the cashier I wasn't feeling well,I ask alleast if i could have a courtesy drink as I wait,she ask the manager he said NO,they need to be more friendly.

The last 2 times I've been to this location, the bread on the medium original has been very thin, like thin sliced bread thickness and toasted hard. I am very disappointed to have the same exact situation tonight. Additionally, the unsweetened tea was out and the server did not bring my fruit cup I ordered as a side. This makes 3 times in a row. It will also be my last.

Currently in the drive-through it is 7:01 PM and they have no iced tea for the day. They ran out. How does that happen? Are they out of teabags or are they being frugal? According to drive thru cashier, they are out of tea bags. Come on managers- do better….last time I came it was just large cups in stock- Stock properly please.

Just about no AC going in the store. It felt like almost no airflow so I can't imagine the employees were doing very well. Food was OK just kinda thrown together sloppily and like whoever made the sandwiches was either too hot to care or just didn't care. Servers were friendly.

Schlotzsky's had messed up on my refund and I went 2 times to get it fixed the general manager with all the rotten teeth she may become back a second time and I did two days later for her to try to deny me again thank goodness she called the corporate manager because he helped me and she was so petty she just gave me my cash and not my change which is fine. I don't know why she had such a bad attitude it's not like money was getting taken out of her pocket. I even let her look at my bank statement to see that I'd never got a refund she had such a horrible attitude and horrible customer service skills. But thanks to the corporate manager I appreciate his help even though it was over the phone he got stuff done!

I've never had food from this chain before and I wasn't super impressed. Not sure how you can make a deli sandwich more complicated. But the counter staff was super friendly and it was prepared as I ordered it. The food was okay, very salty and the sizes were huge. I would probably not eat here again.

I went in ordered my food . Did not take long but as soon as I got my food I was swating flies away from my food felt like I was outside there were so many flies in restaurant. Finally when fly landed on my food I had enough and left . Never again will I eat at this place...

10-28-22 walked in a little after 5. Ordered a roast beef and cheese, no onions, drink, chips. Bill was 13.31. gave the cashier .31¢ then gave her a 20.00. gave me 6.69 in change. I Said it should be 7 even. She said " that's what it says". Can't do basic math, shouldn't be working as a cashier. Sandwich came with onions, used to that, picked em off. Then at 5:30 someone from the kitchen goes around and locks all the doors with customers in the store. So you have to wait to be let out, two words. Fire Marshall.

The person who took our order was kinda dumb. A kids meal and three adult meals came out to forty four dollars. Nacht gut, no bueno. The food isn't that great. Whataburger is right next to it go there instead.

Went by yesterday around 5pm and wasn't greeted by worker at counter. But I said hello anyways,then I ordered an original add turkey and I waited close to 20 minutes..when I finally got my bag the young guy came up but didn't tell me anything he just looked at me. I told him thank you,But of course he ignored me....when I got home I was treated to a not so great tasting sandwich. I'm so surprised..this place used to be so good...Hopefully they can do a turnaround soon..

They only had small buns. so a medium = 2 small and a large = 4 small. They did not mark the one with extra bacon. When asked how the sandwiches were marked the girl at the window said she didn't know they just hand here the orders. She repeated this 3 or 4 times. I finally asked her to ask the person that handed her my order. She did after I insisted. They said they couldn't they were out of stickers. The food was good but Ithe service was very bad. As we pulled out she yelled, "Have a nice day".

Waited a *very* long time for my food in the lobby (over 20 minutes) and there wasn't anyone else inside with only a few cars in the drive thru. I heard hushed chatting about forgetting to start my order followed by laughter. 10 minutes later a greasy bag is given to me with the paltry excuse of "sorry it took so long. There was a small problem with the, um, oven." The food was okay at best. Went out of my way to visit while going through town - won't make that mistake again.

Asking for a TIP? At the drive-thru? Give me a break. Please. And her attitude seemed to change when I said add $1.50. Guess that was not enough. Wow. You can only wonder what happens to your food when you don’t tip…. Completely crazy to expect a tip for doing what you get paid hourly to do. Bad move Schlotsky’s of Seguin - I won’t be back. $12.83 for a small pizza and a drink should be enough to pay your workers well. Tips are for real servers running back and forth and tending to tables - who are paid only a few dollars per hour. Not fast-food workers. So awkward….

The food was good but service left a lot to be desired. The restaurant was dirty. The young crew they had "working" literally stood around talking to each other . I know everyone has been short staffed and normally I don't complain but there was no reason these kids couldn't be cleaning instead of standing and visiting.

Management is terrible. Would only fill cup 1/3 with ice, the tea melts the ice, so tea you're left to drink had NO ICE and the manager refused to give any more ice to enjoy your "iced tea" with your $30 meal for 2. We could have gone anywhere for that price and enjoyed our tea WITH ICE! Their thought process is ignorant. Said she was conservativing ice for her customers. How about GO BUY MORE ICE for your customers!! Food was mediocre. Not up to the Schlotzskeys quality we are use to getting.

I usually love schlotskys but this location in seguin has been consistently bad lately and today I wanted to share this review to help others avoid this one. Long waiting times with little or no lines, the food hasn't tasted like the schlotskys I know, rude employees, and today an incorrect order. Management is to blame, and I will not be returning.

Goodness haven't ate here in a while. Won't return, ever! $35 for 3 sandwiches and 3 drinks. No chips or anything! Goodness! Had a full meal at Buffalo Wild Wings the other night for $40. What's wrong with this picture? 🤔

Sorry but this store needs a major revamp! It must be the oldest location in Texas! The wall paper falling off wall, cashier had to get ice and drinks from back cause drink and ice machine not working up front! Lady behind in line me told me it had been out for a while. Also their free standing cooler was empty and not running. They had a permanent "wet floor" out in front of order counter cause the cashier kept spilling drinks when she brought them out to customers!

Not sure what happened on this Friday night, but my California chicken avacado flatbread had no avocados on it, was cold and had not even been sliced. My husband ordered an original on jalapeno bread and it came on regular sour dough. There were no napkins or straws for the drinks. When I called the store the first time, it rang and rang for a long time, someone picked up the reciever and then hung up. When I called back I was told it had been a very busy day and they MAY have been out of avocados and jalapeno bread. I understand busy, but if you haven't got time to do it right the first time, you haven't got time to do it over.

We were the only two there this evening and they couldn't even get our order right we counted at least 4 people working. We ordered to go a bowl of soup we were given a cup but still charged full price. We also ordered a French dip we only got the sandwich and no dip not much of a French dip without the dip. Very upset and very disappointed in our service.

Been going to Schlotzky's for 40 years. Habe always been a supporter of the brand and have been to this location several times with good experiences. Today's experience has changed that. The sandwich I ordered to go was made wrong and you could see where they remade it. The bun was burnt and hard as a rock. Ordered a fountain drink and cashier did not point out that they were out of several fountain drinks until I asked if they knew they were out. No signs on the fountain drinks either. Disappointing long story short, I would not come back here as it's a rip off and subpar for Schlotzky's brand

Seguin Schlotzsky's store. I visit the store at least twice a month. I ordered a large deluxe original. I requested 15 packages of sauce. Victoria denied me of giving me those packages. Normally I go inside and just eat and nobody says anything. Today I drove through the drive-through and Victoria denied my request. Victoria was not very pleasant. What's the difference of me going inside or going through the drive-through. I asked for a refund for the sandwich so the $16 sandwich was hopefully Discarded. Victoria said I was only allowed three packages per order. She Musta had a bad day.

Horrible service. I ordered online 1st time and there wasn't any instructions on pickup. I finally called and they said to drive thru. I asked why order in advance so I can wait in line to get my soggy order. Then said to go to space #2 but didn't say where it was. On parking lot they had spaces marked 10, 7, & 5 (in spaces counted). So waited and no one showed. Called back and said I was on wrong side of building. Finally got order and when arrived at home, it was soggy plus I ordered a large original and received 2 small sandwiches, definitely didn't get my money's worth! VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DON'T RECOMMEND EATING HERE! They were not even apologetic!

I usually love Schlotzsky’s but today I was enticed by a picture to their new French Dip Calzone. It was NOT good, soggy bread, foul caramelized mushrooms and onions. I brought it up to the manager, Pam, where I was told it wasn’t their fault I didn’t like the sandwich. I offered to pay for another sandwich but felt the sting of the $17.79 I just paid for a sandwich, chips, and drink, because it isn’t offered as a meal, so asked to be compensated with a cinnamon bun or something. Pam “the Manager” said, “We’re not going to give a cinnamon bun because you didn’t like our sandwich.” Truly, poor customer service, Pam needs some training on how to take responsibility for her product. Bottom line don’t be fooled by the picture and definitely don’t expect anything from Pam “the uncaring,” manager. Bill “not coming back” V.

Placed order online. When I got there 15 minutes later there was people coming in off a bus. Waited around another 20 min for my order and still nothing. Called up there and the rude lady said we are busy and you will just have to wait another 30 min or so. I placed my order before the bus was there obviously, she refused to issue refund and told me I would have to call back later because she was too busy and hung up on me. Rude customer service.

Don’t order from here. So they evidently heard us wrong on the speaker- I said a fresh veggie sandwich and they heard French dip ?? Really? Then when I showed them the text from my vegetarian daughter (who’d never eat a French dip!) of exactly what was requested, they said they still heard French dip. No apology, nothing. Until I finally explained that the sandwich was for a vegetarian and that’s why I know I didn’t say “French dip!” Then they said they don’t even have the stuff to make the fresh veggie sandwich anyway. Then they didn’t hear that we ordered 3 bags of chips and only gave us 2. When we noticed and asked for the other bag, the “manager” pulls out a highlighter and starts highlighting what we ordered and announces that we only paid for 2 bags so they’ll have to charge us if we want another one. Then she tells us she can make the veggie sandwich without the stuff they don’t have. But then comes back to the window 5 min later and asks if we want a garden salad instead…??? We were sitting there for at least 20min. Very ridiculous and frustrating experience. Especially for how much their food costs! Won’t be back anytime soon, if ever.

To be fair it's lunch rush and lunch time. There is only one person working in the front she seems very busy and she's trying to struggle her way through it. I would suggest ordering a good 45 minutes ahead of your arrival. If you walk in the door and try to order at the counter good luck. She gleefully finally gave me my order only for me to drive a block away and learn it's not my food.

Drive through. Asked for sweet tea got unsweetened when asked to correct the mistake cashier refused. Sandwich was warm like it had been left out. Got diarrhea from it. Chips in to go order were open. Manager short red head girl look like she had not had a bath. Service very poor.

Ordered a sticky bun to go, when I got home it was ice cold like it just came out of the fridge. I don't know when Cinnabon started not heat up they're buns. But for 7 dollars I'll go somewhere they actually take pride in the products! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

This schlotzsky's is so poorly ran that my family gave up on the chain. If you serve a bad quality product and a customer tries to return the sandwich(with literally 1bite taken) you don't fight the customer on the issue. Their rude service just lost the entire chain a lot of lifetime value as we've been frequent customers of this chain for years. In fact, I was one of the first 50 customers when Schlotzsky's reopened in seguin a decade+ ago. It seems they want to go out of business again. Can't wait to see what replaces them. This is my only review ever because normally would never bother.

Since team time put us on a time crunch we went here to get a quick meal. They were extremely slow and rude when I asked if my food was ready. After 30 minutes of no food we asked for a refund and was rudely denied because “If I wanted fast food I should have went to McDonalds”. When I asked to speak to the manager the lady turned around and said “ Hi, I’m the manager, I can lead you to the exit”. With the worry of the McGuy catching us waiting while on team time he had to leave with no food, no drinks, and no refund. Sadly Schlotzsky’s did not care about my business or the business of my fellow classmates. Never again will I fall victim to Schlotzsky’s wrong doing again. My donation of $35 can stay but my will to go into another Schlotzsky’s has left. A rating that is well deserved

Ordered a chicken avacado pizza to share with a friend allergic to avocado on site. At picking up I asked if the avocado could be on the side as I very much like it. We then listened to the staff gossip about this request throughout our meal and again when I went up to order a to go drink the staff was speaking poorly about me as the avacado request person. I said I thought the conversation was tacky when one of the conversationalists came around the corner and she looked very embarrassed and caught. Tacky staff at 12 on September 3

I came in for supper tonight, spent about 50$ plus a 20% tip. However the wait was ridiculous. A young girl came out of the kitchen to give someone their meal saw a couple standing at the register and never said she would help them just walked to the back and they ended up leaving. Now someone is at the counter yelling at the girl because he waited 20 min and his order was wrong. I am not sure why this is occurring but I eat here often and it’s never been this slow of service or have you been out of tea. I’m still waiting for my meal long enough to write this review. Please hire competent friendly people to work your establishment that is worthy of $50 price plus tip. Follow up.. I asked where my order was and I was told they are pretty backed up and another customer says good luck they already got 1 part of their meal and just waiting for the rest to go. Second part of my of my review and I’m still waiting for my meal. Sad, should not been happening. Update they are quick to close and another lady walked out because she never got her online order. Guy said they were backed up but there were 4 girls and 2 boys working and NO ONE talks to customers. I asked for olive oil and girls said they didn’t have any after walking to the kitchen twice only to come back to say what was it again so the customer that was yelling at her got up and brought it to me. I want my money back at this point. Not worth the tip.

Typically a huge fan of Schlotzsky’s but this location is down right terrible. I’ve tried giving them multiple chances hoping that I just got them on a bad day but I’m afraid that isn’t the case here. Food quality is always subpar and that’s IF the order is correct which it usually isn’t. Place needs some management help for sure as all aspects seem to be lacking some guidance and leadership. It will be a long while before I give them another try.
