Best golden corral I ever been alot great options great portion hot and fresh food staff are nice and friendly and polite very clean I absolutely love the experience my family and I had here on vacation.

Always clean. Salad bar gets low. But the choices are plentiful. Servers are always nice. Cant go wrong for the price.

As always, we were treated like family by the staff, and the food was good as usual, well prepared and fresh. The selection was adequate, I wouldn't mind a few new choices here and there, but overall my family had a very nice dinner. The best part is always the special attention from Yumi on the grill, expertly preparing steaks for us and bringing them to our table, she's outstanding and has always exceeds expectations on her customer service!

We've been to the Golden Corral in New Braunfels many, many times. It's always clean and that's a huge plus for us. All the food is fresh and delicious. It's a much larger buffet than a lot of the Golden Corrals that we've been to. There is GC just a mile from our home and we drive past it to the one in New Braunfels 35 minutes away. Restrooms have been clean any time we've been there as well. The staff is friendly and helpful. If we lived closer we'd probably eat there a couple of times a week! I get to eat all those yummy veggies that I don't cook at home because my hubby doesn't care for them! Yummmm... Now I want to go again!!

Went Thanksgiving day. Not really sure what to expect. Line out the door and all the way to back of building when we showed up at 1PM. Moved quickly and we were seated within an hour. Food was great. Staff was friendly.

And excellent place to sit and eat with friends so long as you're intent on getting your fill. Each dish I partook in was delicious, aside from a potato dish that didn't mesh with my personal flavor but would likely fit someone else's tastes. The price was unfortunately high, but for a novel experience I consider it to be worth it. Had I arrived a bit earlier it would have been cheaper. The wait staff were wonderful and friendly and definitely put a smile on my face and that of my friends. Simply a place that must be experienced. At least once.

Golden Corral offers a large variety of food at a reasonable price! I took my 92 yr old mother for lunch. Our server, Beth, was super nice and so accommodating! Way better than the one in Sandusky, Ohio. They need to send their management team to the New Braunfels location to see what a Golden Corral should look like. Great food. Pleasantly surprised. Clean, neat, and the workers were busy, not standing along walls playing on their phones as they were in Sandusky. We'll be back before we leave town.

The food was great, fresh and delicious; what you would expect from a Golden Corral. This location had a few items that I haven't seen at other locations I've been to on the east coast (boneless wings, cheesy potatoes).

I am just obsessed with their steaks, I cannot get enough! I also love the catfish, the grilled onions and peppers, the spinach, it's all so delicious.

This last experience was great. Awesome good choices and fresh food. We had a happy server who was very attentive.

The lady cutting the meet with the short haircut style, she has an amazing attitude and I wish they were more workers like her. Always clean always fresh.. Staff and management are really nice and welcoming.. Even after clearing off the 20th plate, we hardly have to wait for a drink.. We have a good time here as a family.. I wish they offered a take home dessert (nothing extreme, nothing extra) I would love to eat a brownie and ice cream not rushed by kids in the comfort of my car, while my kids who picked their entire meal complain their hungry.. Their restroom mirror was nice.. I mean they should totally trademark that..

We liked this location. Thus was our first time coming here The customer service is friendly and they constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed and that our meal was fine. We Will definitely come bs k again.

We had a wonderful server named Nini, she deserves so much credit! The food was ok but I think I’d try the dinner next time. There was oregano in the baked fish which took it out the back door for me! Too much mustard in the deviled eggs..(I’m not a fan of mustard)! The sweet potato casserole was exactly that..a little too much but it was good. The coffee was either a cheap brand or a dirty brewer because it was stale and bitter..I am a connoisseur of coffee! I tried other things and found them to be ok but not good enough for me to go back for lunch. I’m sure there’s a lot of folks who enjoys the things that I don’t but overall it really is a nice place.

This is one of the best Golden Corrals I have been to. The food was hot, full of every selection you can imagine, and cooked to perfection. And the dessert was decadent.

Great food and customer service. I had the fried fish with the red sauce on the side. Fried to perfection. Broccoli salad was good. Cauliflower was good. Stuffing was decent,a bit moist for my liking. The bread pudding was one of the best I have ever eaten. Will definitely go back!!!

This was our 1st time at the New Braunfels location, it won't be our last. It is a smaller 1 than what we are used to BUT this location is very modern, cute, and fresh in paint and decor so that will bring us back. The good was amazing and we really liked that the patrons were a different crowd, more laid back, than from the ones we go to in San Antonio.

I order delivery at least twice a week and everything has been delicious and has that homemade taste.

This place is great! It's definitely our favorite place to stop before we leave for out-of-state road trips. My son and I drove nonstop to Denver last summer, and we definitely couldn't have made it there without enjoying a nice big lunch from Golden Corral. It really sticks with you! They also have all-you-can-drink milk and clean bathrooms for the kids. Five Stars!!

Loved having dinner here, so many awesome selections, had a juicy steak w/fried shrimp and mashed potatoes w/gravy, ate everything before I remembered to take pics!! But I have pics of our dessert and one of our table after eating, as you can tell, it was a feast!!

Personally I love this franchise restaurant-- quality food at reasonable prices. This location is a great one -- staff are consistently friendly and helpful. The high-touch areas are always clean and tidy, and food trays are always well-stocked. Parking is good overall but can be a challenge during peak periods. The food selections are tasty, with many choices for just about anyone including the little ones. Desserts are really great -- visually appealing and tasty.

I stopped in on 1/24 to pick up lunch on my way back home to Seguin. I was a little bit early as they had just not too long started to set out lunch. I always go for the pot roast and although it had not been set out yet, manager David went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and made sure that I was able to get some delicious pot roast and it definitely did not disappoint! But somehow the Golden Corral Buffet & Grill checks every box 🤗 from the polite friendly server who was actually attentive to our every need to the wonderful selection of choices and every choice seemed like it could have been THE reason people came ! Not a single dish looked like it had been mixed or stirred to avoid changing it because it had dried out two hours ago NOPE! the main courses all looked and tasted so good I was more than willing to forgo dessert to try another dish and the desserts 🤪 I'm truly surprised they didn't have to roll me out the door and the cherry on the top was quietly enjoying two cups of coffee after everything before finally heading out. Yes Sir the Golden Corral is the complete package... but bring your loose fitting clothes 😜

I love going to the Golden corral over in New Braunfels, because it’s the best place to go, we used to go to the one in Austin Everybody at Golden corral in Braunfels is very friendly Their waitress are very super friendly, but what I love the most, It’s this beautiful Wonderful lady that it’s always there. I can’t remember her name, but me and my husband love her so much. She is wonderful with everybody. And I think she has been there for the longest time. If you ever get to go there, you will experience her great attitude and she’s always very happy. Sorry, but we’re not going back to the Golden Corral in Austin. I’d rather drive 45 minutes to get to the place where everybody treats me right and make me feel like Home.

Golden Corral is one of our family's go to restaurants. Its a buffet style restaurant so it makes everyone happy. Prices are fare, smaller children eat for less and they also cater to seniors.The staff is friendly and courteous and know how to take care of their customers. We have never had to wait and always gotten a table right away. The food is very good and they have a large assortment of dishes to choose from. Try one or try them all but save room for dessert. Cakes, pies, puddings, ice cream, cookies they have it all. Wow! Im getting hungry just thinking about it. Try Golden Corral for any meal. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

It’s good, consistent, very standard Golden Corral. Usually not super busy, but even when it is, they’re always getting fresh stuff out and I never feel like I’m waiting. It’s the only buffet like this in NB, so it hits that craving.

Food selection is amazing. There’s so much to choose from and honestly it all tastes good. It’s all thoroughly cooked and clean. The waitresses are on top of their game with refills and removing plates. The atmosphere is ok. Some Customers expect kids to not be kids. It is usually an older crowd so kids having fun or kids being kids annoys them.

The price has gone down but so has the quality. I don't know what the cause is. Staff was great. Many of the foods were poorly prepared. Soupy mac and cheese and bread pudding. Looked like some children were playing in the pies. A bit disappointing, we will probably give it another try hoping to update this review.

The buffet is absolutely delicious. They have different varieties of food choices. My boyfriend and I ate at Golden Corral on Saturday Oct. 9, 2021. Everything was great. From the catfish, to the steak, ribs, the roll. Even the dessert is good. Especially the banana pudding. Very yummy!!!

Good clean Golden Corral. Went for breakfast and ate steak and eggs. Our waitress was very nice and took our place before we even got back to the table every time. I ate a salad and it was very fresh. Went around 11 and the food was very fresh. My favorite part about this place is the huge desert bar with the chocolate fountain. I also love grabbing cotton candy on my way out.

This Golden Corral is well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is plentiful and good. There are little signs above each dish for dietary restrictions. My only issues is that there is Soy in almost every dish. Sadly, Soy can also have Gluten.

Loved our waitress Salina and the cashier at the front (5:30pm 03/22/25). Very friendly and attentive. Food on the other hand, let's just say I was afraid to see the bathrooms. Compared to the San Antonio GC, this location wasn’t that impressive. The food was hot, but there were fewer options, and cheaper meat selections overall. Tables were clean. Plates and spoon looked clean. Staff didn’t create a welcoming or happy atmosphere employees were gossiping up front while others stood around. Our server came by once, didn’t speak, just poured water and left. If you're passing through, it’s serviceable but I likely won’t return.

Hello all! As to be expected this place was packed. However, our gracious seater also known as the Mgr, excelled at mo ing us right in so we did not even wait.

Not bad! This was my first time visiting a Golden Corral. The assortment of choises blew me away, but mostly the food was quite ordinary in flavor. The most disappointing part of the experience was the rude older dining guest who literally elbowed me to cut in line or grab freshly replaced items, and included me witnessing food being stuff in the pocket of one person's walker. The table staffer was very good at checking on us and keeping the table clean. The desserts looked delicious but were actual terrible. I wouldnt go again on my own but if others chose to go, I wouldnt protest. It is a little pricey so go hungry to get your money's worth.

We literally went to dinner at 7:00 for the turkey & pot roast. They were out and refused to make/ bring out anymore. It was only 7:00 pm. If they charge you extra for the dinner items they should Provide them. Just wanted Turkey & Pot Roast. The meat section was empty. But our waiter was AMAZING she did great 💕

I was very surprised how good the food was. Loved the asparagus and steak. Salad bar was well stocked and had different options. However, the seafood counter was a bit sad. Only fried food.. There was only one fish dish that was grilled with a creamy sauce over it. Didn't look very healthy. They could do better. The desert area was a bit empty and messy. There was only one employee and you could tell they were very busy trying to bake and keep up with the demand. On Sunday say definitely need 2 full time people in the desert area. The ice cream area was dirty and no cones. Parents need to stop sending their kids and need to get it for them. Watched kids make a disaster out of the area. Tables clean and wait staff very friendly. Elisa did a very good job refilling are drinks and clearing the table.

the grill guy,has a 72 inch grill and only makes 2 steaks at a time and waited for a well done and it took about 30-40 minutes
