In April,2018, we ate at Bari's as a group of neighbors. The manager, Mira was helpful on the phone as well as in person. The food was very good, the service ( waiter for the evening was Alex). was excellent, there were a lot of us to serve and he had a friendly and happy attitude. We enjoyed our dinner and time at Bari,s. Many have expressed they will be coming again soon, several expressed that had been there many times before and knew it would be good food and atmosphere. Thanks, Annette Ferguson
Outstanding pink sauce and, well, everything else! Stop in soon.
Staff was great. Pizza was delicious as always. I get the pizza double cut to make it easier for the kids to eat. I'm originally from New York and I can say bari's pizza is NY style for sure. Glad they're around when you're in the mood for pizza. Kind of getting bored with the pizza chain spots.
Friendly staff. I go there every week and they welcome you in like family. Delicious food!
The best pizza and pasta place in Flower Mound! people are nice, bread and dip are superb! cant go wrong with your choice.
We Had a large group in the back room. Food was excellent and the service was excellent as well. Lasagna was really good! Have been here for lunch too. Same experience! Staff here is incredible. Please support the locals! Always!
I’m originally from NY and whenever the cravings for fresh delicious pizza hits, Bari’s is our go to. My kids and I love Bari’s. We started going to Bari’s several years ago when we moved to flower mound. We always get a large cheese pizza and enjoy the garlic buns w/ the herb evoo. Carb over load for sure! We dined in today and decided to try a pasta dish based on the waitress recommendation but I was not a fan. The manager was kind enough to replace the dish for me up to my standards. As always Bari delivers.
Family favorite. My kids love splitting dishes and getting a variety of items. The pizza, spaghetti bolognese, seafood pasta, and the bread are our go-to. Wine prices are very decent, I love that inflation hasn't made this restaurant unaffordable like some others.
We were part of a large family group after a funeral service. The food was delicious! (I had the lobster ravioli!!) The servers were really busy with all of us, but they did great! Thank you Baris! You helped to make a difficult time a little more bearable!
We ordered from Baris using DoorDash, upon receiving food I noticed a meal was missing. When I called Baris the young man who helped me was very polite and helpful. He offered to give me store credit but I explained it was someone’s meal so I would be on my way to pick it up. He said, that wouldn’t be necessary as he would deliver it to me. He got it to my house in less than 30 minutes and the food was hot and fresh. Thank you! You didn’t have to go out of your way to deliver the meal, I found it very kind and professional of you. I hope this restaurant sees how great of an employee he is.
chicken dishes are the best. pizzas are also really good. godfather is one of my personal favorites. gluten free crust is great - comes out sort of like a thin flat bread. chicken diablo is great for spicy cravings. highly recommend this place! great atmosphere as well
Been coming to Baris over 20 years since I was a little kid. Easily the best Italian spot in town. I do have one small complaint.. the music needs to be changed, some classic Italian / Swing music would do wonders for the atmosphere & match the vibe of the food & restaurant. Still, this is some 5 star food! Can’t go wrong with their spaghetti & meatballs & pizza
Absolutely incredible authentic Italian restaurant! The people are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the happy hour is great and affordable! Definitely nice and affordable Italian restaurant for family, friends, and
In town for a quick weekend trip and had dinner here with my daughter and parents. We had an amazing time! Service was great and food was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.
My wife and I dine @ Bari’s at least once a week. It’s become our go to place. Transplanted from New York, we’re particular about what we eat and Bari’s is authentic, old world Italian. Don’t know how they serve the large portions and high quality at very reasonable prices….especially the veal which is always cooked perfectly. Staff is super friendly, cordial and treats each table just right. Don’t miss this place. It’s a jewel. The pizza is as close to home as you can get without importing water from the Northeast.
We came in for date night with our son and it was perfect. Oz was amazing and took great care of us. Food was fast, fresh and affordable. Will definitely be coming back a lot more!
I kinda wish I had pictures! Mira always takes great care of us and the food is always amazing! This is a small business is truly have the pleasure of supporting!
As always, Bari's food & service are well worth the trip. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere & booths high enough to feel very private in a busy place. Also, a special shout-out to Sonia! She is an absolutely fabulous server who is always upbeat & friendly. She makes sure we always have drink refills, enough delicious garlic rolls, & gets food to the table while it is still piping hot. If you want authentic Italian food that is surprisingly inexpensive & a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, Bari's is the place to go!
I was introduced to Baris by a friend two years ago. Since my husband and I visit monthly. The ladies are nice. Give them a smile and they smile right back and ask how your day is going. I like they put different music for our full dining experience. Now enjoy the delicious food. 😋
My husband and I have the most wonderful dining experience every time we visit. Today is no exception. Our server is the most attentive and the food OMG! Delicious 😋. You will not find better tasting eggplant Florentine.
We arrived 20 minutes before closing time and they graciously sat us. We had the best fettuccine I have ever had and the bread they brought out while we looked at the menu was simply amazing. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars then I would for this restaurant.
I have been eating here since 1998. Always been a family owned and operated restaurant that is a staple of Flower Mound. We always love eating here when we don't end up cooking at home. Their house dressing for their salad is so good, I still have to mail it to my sister in Utah. One of my favorite Italian restaurant, hands down. The staff is always so inviting and helpful, and like I said the food is excellent. Hand made pastas and bread.
Bari’s is awesome, my kiddo said to mention they have the best pizza, I really enjoyed the veal Parmesan, the owners are from NYC, you could taste the authenticity. The owner took care of us and was so gracious and patient as we had a table with 4 kids. A must go in Flower Mound!
My husband and I tried this place for lunch. The Caesar salad and cheesy garlic bread were amazing!! The pizza was pretty good too. The server was super nice and very accommodating!! Will return for sure
The riccotta cheese in a couple of our Raviolis was bitter, not edible, it tasted spoiled. The manager said the raviolis were fresh and she didn't understand where the bitterness was coming from. They offered a different plate, she was not hungry anymore and they charged the raviiolis anyway. Hope my daughter doesn't get sick because of this.
The food was amazing. My only real complaint is that the pasta was overcooked. That won't stop us from coming back. Our waitress was great, the place was clean and decorated was charming. Can't wait to come back.
Perfect for the intended purpose - all stars :) I was in for networking and an appetizer. The restaurant offers a very nice comfortable setting
This is our favorite Italian restaurant. I had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Huge serving. Delicious. Amazing serving of chicken. I am very picky about this dish, only one other restaurant's. I like. Very satisfied. Wife had Chicken Ceasar salad. She loves this dish. She wanted a side of eggplant parmesean, which is not on the menu. The restaurant prepared a smaller side for her. We were impressed. Service was fantastic, friendly and attentive. A wonderful restaurant. We highly recommend.
I attend a weekly networking group here on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM - 1 PM. It is not required to order food at the meeting, but it is lunch time and the food is good, the staff are all friendly and I like to support small businesses.
The bread was delicious as well as the olive oil and herb dip its served with. Probably ate too much of it but I couldn't help myself. The calamari was perfectly cooked. The breading light and flaky. The sauce perfectly delicious. My wife loved her Chicken Parm sandwich. She'd been trying others in the area but this is now her favorite. I had a small pizza and enjoyed it thoroughly. Couldn't finish it in one sitting but was glad to complete it for lunch today. Service was excellent. Very attentive and even anticipating our future needs.
So great! We brought the kids right after sports and were seated straight away. Our server brought us a free appetiser because the rolls weren’t out of the oven yet. Our dinner arrived in less than 10 minutes-the parmigiana was amazing! And when the rolls did arrive-they were to die for-all hot & buttery! Very kid-friendly and easy.
Don't believe the bad reviews you have read! Wife and I had early dinner on a Friday about 5. Non-issue getting seated. Pleasant young high schoolers at the front. Yes 70’s music seems odd as does decor- it's like its a converted house or real estate office. Whatever. Tremendous service from a European guy. Cold beer. The Bari salad is fresh and tasty ,enuff for 2 and awesome tomato vinegarette. The garlic rolls are soft and are included and unreal. Dipping in oil with herbs too. Really good. And refill for free. We craved pizza. We got a large Godfather. White sauced pizza. He brought my wife a side of red to dip it in. Unreal crust. It's soft medium thickness and hot. Mozzarella loaded And everything is fresh and yes, worth returning. I saw other dishes that were great. The vibe is friendly and local and friends and family. It's a 40-year-old spot. Flomo doesn't have many of these DO IT. Total bill With tip was $45.
We went for the first time after getting a coupon in the mail and were totally blown away. The food was amazing and the service was great. The prices were extremely reasonable. We will absolutely be back!!
This is my new favorite date spot. The food was Amazing. I had Chicken Siciliano with angel hair pasta and my husband had the lasagna. The complimentary rolls, the Limoncello Mascarpone cake, the $5 happy hour sangria... it felt like it was my birthday. Absolutely loved everything. It was a little loud but we were still able to hold a conversation and completely enjoy ourselves.
Great experience the several times we've visited. Reasonable prices and great food. Everything we've tried has been great. Their pink sauce is fantastic on their pastas and the sangria is very refreshing.
My brother and I left a movie to meet he dad for munch. I had not been to this place before but as soon as I walked in, the place just had a this megical charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For me, it is always a gamble to ask someone what they recommend because I’m so picky but my god, it was superb.
This is one of our favorites. Always great food. Great bread too.
If u want really savory Italian food with the best sauce in town this is my place.. plus get the salad with the house red dressing.
This is the best restaurant ever I love Bari’s so much! The workers and the people who eat here are so sweet 💗
We love Bari's. Great food, great atmosphere, great prices!! Been going to Bari's for many years!!
Oh my goodness, have the daily special, its always sooo good! Sophie is our favorite waitress, what a sweet gal and great waitress!
First time here w my son in law. He took me to lunch here. Ive heard great things but until now had not been there. So glad l did!! The hostess was great. She got our order correct and the food was excellent!! It was fresh, hot, presented well and smelt great. The place was very very clean , even the menus. I will definitely eat here again in the future. Just a great experience.
Fantastic bar service. Quality food. Fantastic flavor from pizza to pasta. A must visit place. You can always count on the locals to let you know where you can count on a consistent good time, meal and value.
This is a great place to eat for both lunch or dinner. It doesn't have table cloths, but I prefer eating without them. All the menu items I've tried have been great. I also like all the ones that the wife likes also. Her favorite is the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich or lasagna. They have various size pizzas with all the standard toppings. I tried the pepperoni and mushrooms the first time and always order it again when I'm in the pizza mood. Bread is always hot and delicious. Tossed salad with house dressing is always made with very fresh chrispy items. My favorite pasta dish is the pasta sampler... a combo of three. There is also another Bari's Trio combo with lasagna, chicken parm, and fettuccine Alfredo, and yes, the to-go boxes are free to hold the half you don't finish for another meal. If you sometimes like to spice it up, I highly recommend you try the Chicken Diablo with chicken served with pasta and a great cream sauce with just the right amount of red pepper.
Great food and wine! Chicken parm and Chicken Francese are to die for!
Came in late today and had some delicious pizza. Staff kept up with our refills and brought the food very quickly despite being so close to closing.
Bari’s has been a cornerstone of our family’s dining tradition in Flower Mound for almost two decades. The restaurant’s warm and attentive staff have watched our children grow up and always take a moment to comment on how much they’ve changed over the years. They also fondly remember my wife’s grandmother, who passed in 2019, and often share stories about her visits, which means a lot to us. We’ve brought numerous friends and extended family members to Bari’s, and it remains a favorite for all of us. The food is consistently good, and it’s one of the main reasons we keep returning. Over the years, it has truly become a landmark for our family, and we look forward to many more meals there in the future.
Authentic homemade from Italy with handpicked ingredients. Great recipes and sauces. Great stmospere. Mark as favorite.
Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant and a gem in Flower Mound!! I love their happy hour! And their lunch special! For $4 you can get a delicious glass of Italian wine and only $5 you can get a side of delicious meatball sliders! The lunch specials delicious to with a delicious bowl of spaghetti, bread and a side salad all for $11!! The service is absolutely amazing with the managers being really friendly and David the server being very friendly. I absolutely love this gem!
The cozy atmosphere makes for a perfect date-night spot. Food was really yummy and felt like decent value for authentic Italian food. Good portion sizes. We ordered a small pizza, the lasagna, and chicken parm. The chicken parm was nothing out of the ordinary but their tomato sauce makes everything better. Great service and felt very at-home. Overall very pleased with our experience at Bari’s.
Awesome Italian restuarant. Great atmosphere. A large menu. Friendly staff. Great location in Flower Mound. Several chicken dishes. Chicken Diablo is really good. Lasagna is a must try. The Bari's salad is a signature. The is a bar area as well. Take out is available. The dinner rolls are fantastic. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Very clean restuarant and prompt service. A good choice if you're looking for authentic Italian food in Flower Mound.
We came to Bari’s for dinner and absolutely loved the casual, authentic Italian charm. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we had stepped into a cozy trattoria in the heart of Italy. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and refreshingly unpretentious. The food? Absolutely fantastic. Generous portions, fair prices, and rich, comforting flavors that make it clear this place is run by people who know Italian cooking. You can tell many of the staff are Italian natives—it shows in both the food and the service. One detail we found charming: we ordered a bottle of wine, and it came to the table already opened. At first, it caught us off guard, but it ended up adding to the whole experience. It felt like being served dinner by a Nonna—no fuss, no frills, just genuine hospitality and incredible food. This isn’t fine dining, and that’s the point. Come expecting casual flair, authentic flavor, and a place you’ll want to return to again and again. We’ll absolutely be back—on a very regular basis.
This is my family's favorite pizza place. The atmosphere and huge amount of pizza is incredible. We just had a dinner for 5 with 3 x large pizza's, appetizers, dessert and drinks for under $100 with plenty to take home. The servers are not the most friendly and act as bit put out, but the quality of the food and the value of the price warrant a full 5 stars. We have ate here for over 10 years and look forward to our next visit.
How have we not heard of this place sooner? SO GOOD!! Needed a pizza place close to my son's appointment so google picked this place for us. Prices were really good, so we assumed it would be small portions or not very good....WRONG. Tasty food, great portions at an awesome price! We all enjoyed our food, and the inside looks like it would be great for a cozy dinner. Can't wait to go back! Sorry for the half eaten photos, but we didn't realize it would be review worthy before we started eating it. 😆
TL;DR It's good, give it a shot. Pretty wide variety of typical/traditional Italian food. Everything we tried was solid, but not stellar. The atmosphere is more high class than the typical flower mound restaurant, for whatever that's worth. I would agree with other reviewers that it's the best Italian place in flower mound, but I'm also unaware of any other such places. The kids' menu is good enough that you can take small kids, and it's not so fancy that it would be problematic to do so. Bit of an older (geriatric) crowd, but that probably says more about the town than Bari's.
This restaurant is our go-to for local Italian food. Service is great, and they remember the regulars. Best bets: garlic rolls (keep 'em coming), the house salad dressing, and anything with pink sauce!
One of my favorite Italian joints in the area. Family operated, friendly service, a comfortable place for a family or a larger group. A real gem in the area. The pizza is good but i go for the pasta and sauces. Several home made pasta options. This place is comfortable, well decorated, clean, and consistent. Go with a date or go with your kids and you won't be disappointed.
Food and service are fantastic. They need to don the lights and play some Italian music to create an atmosphere though. They have these beautiful gas lamps on the wall that would deliver some wonderful ambient light if they weren’t drowned out by the overhead lights.
Overall experience was pretty great. Good little family pizza place. It was absolutely freezing, but coming in from outside it was ok. Portions were a bit small and not the best Italian I’ve ever had but go back they’ve always been pretty good.
A casual chic italian cafe atmosphere with a large bar. The good: Clean and updated interior. Service was friendly and fast. The food was better than expected. The bad: It can be loud on a busy evening. Overall: Better than expected. Food quality and service were very good. I would recommend Bari's but warn you about the noise level if its a busy night. Updated 12/13/22: Visited Bari's again with a 9 person party. The good: Our server was Jessica S. who was very good. She was fast, friendly and she got all our orders right even with some special diet requirements. The food quality was quite good. Thank you, Bari's and Jessica.
We had dinner here a few nights ago on a whim. I had honestly never heard of or really seen this place even though we live fairly close. The food was pretty tasty but the service was.. strange. Not sure if it's just me but both of the women we interacted with seemed very dry and sort of crude. The woman who greeted us wasn't necessarily rude, but when we finally got a table all she said was "go over there" and just pointed at the table instead of actually walking us there. It just felt odd since I've never had that happen. Our waitress wasn't any better. Again, she wasn't rude but the few times she came by, the interactions were very dry. At one point she came by to take away the little bread basket and grabbed the unopened butter and literally threw it on the table and walked away. It was weird. Not sure if all of their servers are that way but my husband and I found the experience strange.
I love their low fat spaghetti here! I usually add grilled chicken. My husband enjoyed their meatball sub. Their pizzas are good. Our daughter loved the garlic roll. Their hiuse salad with house dressing is always delicious. Service was friendly. It is good, but not amazing. My cousin had the lobster ravioli, which was not very good. Didn't taste homemade or fresh & not much lobster flavor.
Great service is always desired, and here is a great place to receive that service. Thoroughly enjoyed Sonya's service. Would go back for that alone. However, the food was also quite good. Creamy Shrimp Alfredo with homemade linguini, toasted Ravioli and marinara. My personal favorite, lasagna and fresh baked rolls. I wouldn't say the food was over the top (hence 4 Stars), but I will be returning because good food with great service is always pleasant. Price was decent too. Thanks Baris for a memorable visit, and a pleasant experience.
A surprise, intimate family feeling atmosphere with delightfully authentic Italian flavors! Was so happy enjoying a lovely evening out with my other half at a fantastic place will visit again.
My first visit was good, it could have been better. Texas is known for their southern hospitality. None here. Seated right away, waitress was very nice but didn't have customer service skills. She disnt know the specials on front board or didn't have any personal suggestions. Once we ordered, wait rumen for food was a little longer than expected. Took 20 minutes! Waitress did do a great job keeping our glasses filled. Atmosphere is dull and boring. No music, and decor was flat and dull. Upon leaving, still no greeting or "come back" Will come back because food was absolutely delicious, but will do take out. To top it off, we were seated by the kitchen and bathrooms. Who want to sit there?
Attentive service, quick delivery of food (faster than expected). Prices are very reasonable. Food was okay/bland. Restaurant touts homemade pasta and fresh pizza so was surprised with lack of flavor. We had the Shrimp Diablo, Lobster Ravioli and Cheese Pizza. Nice local restaurant, attentive service but okay food.
I like Bari’s but on a recent delivery order of chicken parmigiana the amount of chicken was very skimpy. Not much chicken, lots of penne for $20.
My husband and I had just gotten back in town after a long weekend and needed to eat. Because Bari's is close to where we live, we decided to try it...we had never been there. I want to point out that we are Italian food lovers and connoisseurs, we have had some AMAZING and truly delicious and unique Italian food AND we have had some truly awful Italian food and everywhere in between. We would rate the quality of the food at Bari's somewhere in the middle...good, but definitely not to die for. I WOULD have rated this establishment a little higher if the service was better. Our server...I don't really know his name, but on our bill it is Seni Z (he never introduced himself), interrupted me twice while I was ordering...two separate times...like he either didn't have time to listen or what I was saying was not important. He did not check on us during our meal and really acted like he had much better things to do than serve us...which he probably did, but at that moment, he was getting paid to do a job. He had the personality of a rock...and his actions directly negatively affected our enjoyment of our meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, but the acoustics are not good and the lack of patrons allowed conversations in the bar to be heard in the far back corner of the restaurant where we were sitting. Also, the music was some sort of alternative 90s, which wasn't bad, but not the type of music that creates that Italian ambiance you would expect. All in all, it wasn't completely awful, but with so many much better Italian food restaurants in the Dallas area, why settle for one where service is delivered by someone that acts like they have better things to do.
The food was great but service and atmosphere left a lot to be desired. We were there for 2 1/2 hours and not once did anyone refill our water glasses. We were not asked if we wanted more wine or drinks. When we got our orders taken it was very rushed. We were not even asked what kind of pasta we wanted. We were not offered any salads or sides. We did ask for salad and it was pretty good. When I go out to eat, its not just about the food-its about the entire experience-good servers recommending dishes, trying new menu items, enjoyable music, clean dining area etc. As for the food; I recommend the house dressing- it’s very tasty. Sort of reminds me of Dorothy Lynch I really think the food is delicious overall. The veal is tender and flavorful. The sauces are very good as well. However the restaurant is very, very echoey. When you hear chairs scooting around it’s very loud. They do have booths that seem a bit more private. The atmosphere is relaxed. The music was 90s alternative all evening. Nothing against 90s alternative…It just didn’t really seem to jive with an Italian restaurant. Wanted to try tiramisu but they were out. Chocolate cake was pretty good. Garlic rolls were served in the beginning with plastic packets of butter. Later rosemary olive oil was brought out for dipping. I want to like this place- as I said, the food was good…just wish the ambience was better. Would maybe try again for take out!
After 1 year in Flower Mound, we have a favorite Italian Restaurant. We pass Bari's most days & decided to try it. The wait was short. The waiter was either new and unknowing or uncaring. Based on other reviews, not the quality of others there. Bari's Salad was just ok. My Baked Ziti was a heaping bowl of Ziti lathered with cheese. My wife's dish was not memorable either. The Sauvignon Blanc "Haymaker" was very good. No one cared we were there. We will give it one more try. Phil
Super bummed. I had to return my chicken fettuccine alfredo, I have NEVER had to return food before. The entire dish was bland.. not much different then our service as well. The waitress was rushed and would talk to us while walking by. The place was not busy at all. My husband wasn't impressed with the pizza but it was still better then my dish. Lastly, maybe she was the manager, but she stopped by and told me to try the pink sauce next time... kind of comical if she couldn't grasp that my alfredo and chicken were bland regardless of the sauce. Great suggestion 😂🤦♀️
This place came highly recommended by co workers. I'm a nurse at the hospital nearby and the staff get food delivery often from Baris. This was my first experience ordering myself and going to the restaurant. I called In a pick up order on the way to my afternoon shift and whoever answered the phone was in a bad mood, I said I wanted to place a pick up order and her response was "what's your name and what do you want?" I was immediately turned off of this place but i placed my order anyway and when i showed up to get my my food the middle aged gray haired pudgy Lady behind the bar just put my food on the counter took my money handed me change and turned her back on me and walked back into the kitchen without saying anything. The food was good and they got my order right but I was kinda shocked at how they treated a customer. Definitely need to work on customer service skills. Our staff gives this place a lot of business, I'll probably think twice before giving them more business based on this experience.
Had food delivered today 11/2/25. Meat lasgana and a combo of meat lasagna. The lasagna was falling apart and there wasn't enough meat inside, then combo entree only had one ravioli. We wouldn't order delivery for food from Bari's again. Very disappointed.
We just ordered from this place for the first time. Both of the Chicken Alfredo orders arrived without chicken. We called the restaurant and the lady who answered wasn't very considerate or apologetic for not delivering our meals. Our whole family usually loves Caprese salad, but the Caprese from this restaurant was awful. Like truly terrible. None of us liked it. My shrimp scampi was pretty good and my husband's chicken piccata was decent. We'll see once they redeliver our boys' Chicken Alfredo dishes if they arrive with chicken this time. We had planned to dine in at this restaurant sometime soon, but after this experience we don't plan to return to this place.
Hostess (I think the manager) offered our menus to another table while seating us. Lighting was non uniform. Chess sticks Freshout of the freezer and did not taste good. No music but kitchen enjoyed their Mexican music. Food was boring tasteless. Since it took them a whole 5 minutes from order to table I'm sure it was just sitting in the back. What I ordered hadn't improved since I was there 5 years ago. My recommendation to the manager is that they actually need to care about the business, the food, and the customers. The waitress was decent and polite. We will not go back ever.
Hmmm...usually expect the toppings to be on the pizza. Understandably could be because Door Dasher was careless...but...maybe slid off because extremely undercooked and soggy. Tried putting the toppings back on but so undercooked, what's the point. Maybe better in person than delivery....
I expected more from this place that call's itself a traditional Italian restaurant. I tried the chicken Parmesan sandwich, and to no surprise, given the quality of restaurants in this town, I can safely say that this was the worst chicken Parmesan sandwich I’ve ever had. The chicken on the sandwich was very low quality and flavorless. Further, the atmosphere is disappointing to say the least.
I don't often leave reviews but maybe it will change something. My family has been a customer here for 20 years. We used to come here 2-3 times a month. The food is amazing. We have quit going because the service is so bad. I've personally given them 3 chances. I know my extended family has given them even more. The middle-aged women that work there are down right mean. I have never been warmly welcomed by them and it's almost like anyone coming in the door is annoying to them. I don't know why they work there because they're always miserable. I grew up with the children of the original owners so this restaurant was special to us. I wanted it to get better but it just didn't. :(
Placed a to-go order for chicken Marsala with angel hair pasta and another order of chicken piccata with zoodles. I ordered veggies and Alfredo on the side. Revived no receipt. Got home with the dishes and the entrees had no pasta. When I called, I was told if you order veggies, those replace the pasta. So if you want pasta with your Italian food, go somewhere else!
I had dinner here and it was awful. Our server was very rude when we asked for a few more rolls after he brought our food and he never returned and we sat there with empty glasses. I recieved my bank statement and notice this server added his own tip to my bill after we left. I have called several times to speak to the owner and they said she was out of town. This is considered fraud and theft and is against the law. It is illegal for a restaurant or any business to add a mandatory gratuity without properly informing the customer beforehand. I do not know if the owner or manager is aware this server is doing this. I will be contacting the Flower Mound Police about this and will be meeting with my attorney to see what action I can take next. My credit card receipt shows the name Seni Z was our server. I would advise anyone that has dined here to make sure to check your credit card bill.
