BEST BBQ in Simi Valley! Beautiful St. Louis ribs. The smoked chicken was amazing. The salad was fresh and crisp. Our server was Madison (bartender). She mixed up a couple of martinis that were game changers. We also met the chef, Jimmy Weathersbae, who was very personable and humble. You have to go to the Cork & Batter Roadhouse...get reservations!!!
I made a reservation on OpenTable for my girlfriend and I. We were greeted by a professional and friendly staff. We were seated promptly. Our server was training a new server. Both were kind and courteous. They asked if we had been there before and we let them know we had been to the original location in Inglewood although I believe the menus might be different. We started with a couple of espresso martinis. To eat ordered a bbq platter with tritip, pastrami, and bbq chicken with a side of macaroni & cheese. Everything was delicious from the drinks to the food. 10/10 would recommend. Great place to take visitors from out of town. Environment and setting inside is nice as well
Billy and Natasha took care of us from the minute we sat down. They went above and beyond excellent service. It was busy due to Valentine’s Day and yet every server seemed to be upbeat and making rounds quickly. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy the atmosphere. The food, drinks and desert were all very good. (banana pudding was recommended by Billy, it was unbelievable and I don’t even like bananas) Great place, great people, excellent management and food. This is our go to spot.
Excellent service and great food! We were the first guests in during their first Saturday and we were all very satisfied. We ordered the Family Platter for 4-6 and it was very good value. The platter could easily feed 4 bulking body builders, or 6 regular people. Most new places in Simi tend to close, but I hope this one stays!
I thought this place was solid, they quickly seated us, very clean and new, a tin of staff to attend to our needs. As we ordered our food, our server turned to walk away and immediately someone was dropping off our appetizers, like wow, so fast. We had the corn bread which was fluffy, sweet and plentiful, so much we had to take it home. I had the fatty brisket, sausage, and spare rib. My sides were the slaw and there baked beans. The baked beans were interesting, they were almost a taste of a 50/50 split somehow of baked and chili bean flavoring split right down the middle. Not meat in it, just a slight chili bean flavoring. I personally like the sweet flavor of baked beans. These were not my favorite due to what I normally enjoy, but they were good and very flavorful. Pretty sizable portion. A ton of parking available, and that’s a good thing because the place was pretty packed, good vibe friendly atmosphere, a huge bar a must try!
Great atmosphere, food came out pretty quick, corn bread was delicious, service was amazing waiter check on us frequently, manager came to check table, bus boy checked on us as well. We had dinner earlier than normal but it looked like they were setting up for live music so definitely be returning to experience that sometime soon..
Atmosphere was stellar ✨️..Games were on screen, pool tables in action and Nathan our server was ever so accommodating, explain the menu to us. It was our first time there explain the menu to us in detail. And the food was over and above our expectations.. The brisket and ribs melted in our mouth 😋 I will be back for more 💯🎊
Excellent food! Our server(Jess) was attentive, she made excellent suggestions for us to try. The only negative was the fact that the establishment decided to have a duo try and teach line dancing, while people were still eating!! The volume level of the music was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I should not have to shout across the table to be heard, by staff, or by my dining company.
Amazing and delicious food, their bbq ribs are my fav. Their nachos appetizer is soo good too! My husband and i love to come here often, we feel very welcomed every time we come. Everyone is super kind, specially Manny. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!’
Went @330 happy hour not crowded. Play pool. Watch sports. Good service. Love cowboy candy. Brisket nachos. Pulled pork sandwich, burger. Omg so good for something different. Grandma's special tea is delicious.
Their new brunch menu is great. Easily one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in awhile and that’s saying something , arugula side, caramelized onions, bacon …say no more right. It wasn’t heavy either. Incredible. Super nice staff too on the weekend, the bartender was so friendly and kind which is rare at a nice place like this. Prices aren’t crazy either . Place is such a vibe
This was our first time going to Cork & Batter Roadhouse. It will NOT be our last. The experience began when I call reservations and spoke to "Lori." She was very easy to talk to as she answered all of my typical first-time questions. Arriving at our reservation time we were immediately taken to our table for six. To my surprise, Lori was our waitress. She handled our table in an outstanding manner. She made all of us glad she was our waitress. She was professional, courteous, helpful and being an extremely busy night her level of effort never waivered. I spoke to her General Manager "Manny" that night and told him what a great job she did.
We had a GREAT meal. We tried this place quite some time ago but today was far better than last. Glad we gave it a second try. The food seemed to be much more elevated and super tasty. Chili with cornbread, outstanding! Delicious!!!! Highly recommend! Love the vibe and our server was amazing. Never had to fly anybody down. We will be back.
Cork and Batter in Simi Valley has quickly become a favorite of mine, primarily because of their dedication to flavor. Every dish I've tried has been expertly seasoned and truly delicious. I highly recommend the Blackened Salmon for a satisfying entree. Their Burger selection is also fantastic and features enough variety (including excellent vegan options) to please anyone at the table. On the small bites menu, the sliders are a standout—the chicken sliders are addictive! Don't skip dessert! The chocolate chip ice cream sandwich is the perfect sweet ending. Beyond the food, the service is efficient. We had immediate seating, there's plenty of parking, and the kitchen is notably fast and efficient. A truly great dining experience!
We ordered food online for Thanksgiving and despite a little hiccup with our order not being received due to tech issues, Manny was able to provide us with a smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The smoked turkey was incredible and I just wanted to thank Manny for handling this so we weren’t without food on Thanksgiving day. We will definitely order food again here for the holidays! Cheers and thank you!
I came to this restaurant last night for a private event and had such a great time. I was able to find parking right in front of the restaurant since parking nearby is limited. The outside of the restaurant is decorated nicely with the string lights and some football stuff. When you walk inside, the host stand is on the left side along with the bar and where the live entertainment will be playing. The right side of the restaurant is where you can just dine and has its own bar area too. The interior of this restaurant is very nice, especially the bar. The food here that we were able to try was delicious. The sliders, briskets, ceviche that isn't on the menu yet were my favorite. Some other people loved their mix drinks but I stuck with soda. I would come back here again to dine with my friends or family.
My wife and I visited Cork and Batter in Simi Valley for Sunday evening football and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was perfect for the game — plenty of big screen TVs with great visibility and just the right volume. Since it was our first time, our server, Braden, did an excellent job walking us through the menu and helping with recommendations. We tried several dishes, and each one was delicious. At halftime, we even enjoyed a few games of billiards, which was a fun bonus. Overall, everything from the service to the food to the game-day setup made for a great night out. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I love the food at Cork and Batter in Simi Valley especially for how it’s flavored. Some of my recommendations are the Blackened Salmon, the Burgers, which they have a variety of including vegan options., the deserts and omg their sliders. I loved the chicken sliders. You should try the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich if you want some desert. There is lots of parking and sitting was immediate. The kitchen is also pretty fast and efficient.
Great service, food and atmosphere. Came here for a business lunch and wasn’t disappointed with anything. All three of us left with a smile and full tummies. We were greeted by a host with a smile, and seated promptly. A couple of minutes later our waitress came and took our drink and appetizer order. The fried Brussels sprouts, the cowboy candy and chicken wings were great. We ordered a lot of food for three, we figured we would take some home. Out of all the meats, the St Louis ribs and pastrami were the best, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The brisket, and baby back ribs were great too! The Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes complemented everything. The only eehhhh was our corn bread, it was too flaky and dry, but we have just the trick, some good butter and honey, and the rest is history! Good food, clean place, and Texas worthy friendliness, a perfect trio!
We’ve dined here twice now, and each time has left us eagerly anticipating our next visit! Every dish we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious—bringing something fresh and much-needed to the local food scene. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is both stylish and inviting. We’re thrilled to have found our new go-to spot!
So glad Cork and Batter came to SIMI Valley! We stopped into Cork and Batter Roadhouse last night and sat at the bar. We were greeted and had nice chat with the manager, Billy. The super proficient and friendly bartender Chrissy made us great drinks and took excellent care of us. We tried a delicious meat platter and had very yummy drinks. So glad this place opened in Simi Valley! We had one of the best experiences ever, and considering this is newly opened, it will just keep getting better and better. Great service, great food, tasty drinks, super liquor selection—and really fun place!
Great food and kind servers! The place is new so it's very clean and elegant with a Western touch. The menu has plenty of barbecue meat options and the portions are large. Lots of seating available and parking. We got the flavorful street corn as an appetizer and then a mix of items from the "two-hander" menu and the half rack of ribs which could have sufficed for even two people. A great place to return to!
Friday night, full house a bit of a wait without reservations so we sat at the bar enjoying our drinks, the bartender, and cozy atmosphere . Soon we were taken to a large dining area and ordered our dinner. It arrived quickly, hot , appealing and tasted as good as it looked. The babyback pork ribs were smoked tender and delicious and the tri tip sandwich was equally good, served with crisp and tender onion rings( $2 upgrade from regular sides which were included.) the servings were very generous and the service was excellent. From the hostess Lexi to Chelsea our waitress and the servers, all get high ratings. Friendly, capable and efficient. Room for improvement would be adjusting the coleslaw’s dressing to be a bit more vibrant, As well as the blue cheese salad dressing. We will be back to try their other options soon.
We recently visited Cork & Batter and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The vibes were great, with a relaxed yet lively atmosphere, perfect for a night out. The food, drinks, and customer service were all top-notch. As parents with three kids, we know how challenging dining out can be, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I had the rib-eye, which was absolutely delicious – cooked to perfection. My husband tried the sampler, which was a generous portion, perfect for sharing with the kids and even enough for leftovers the next day. We went early, so we didn’t get to experience the live music, but we’ll definitely be back soon to enjoy that next time!
We had an amazing family dinner at Cork and Batter here in Simi Valley! 🍽️🔥 It was a beautiful afternoon—perfect timing to enjoy a meal with my 90+ year-old mom, my sister visiting from Florida, my nephew, and his daughter. Everything was delicious! The Brussels sprouts 🥦, cornbread with jalapeño butter 🌽🌶️ (a MUST!), mashed potatoes 🥔, mac & cheese 🧀, and the mango & peach teas 🥭🍑—phenomenal (we kept asking for refills, that’s how good it was!). We also had the brisket, tri-tip, and baby back ribs 🥩🍖—all cooked perfectly! Coming from Celina, Texas (home of brisket BBQ!), I can honestly say this place knows what they’re doing. The atmosphere is awesome—great setup with pool tables 🎱 and a chill vibe that definitely gives off a Texas feel! 🇨🇱🤠 We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a cool place to hang out! 👏🔥

Amazing restaurant atmosphere is great music is great spacious amazing decorations. Pool tables in the bar area. Food is beyond amazing best bbq I’ve had in California even better than some Texas bbq. Drinks were great food was great service was great atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to go back. The lean brisket was amazing you can’t go wrong here we tried so much and everything was delicious. Broccolini was fantastic so was the berry cobbler. You have to try this place you’ll be hooked. Huge private rooms for corporate events or private parties everything is brand new.

Wow! Just wow! I have been smoking Brisket for more than 40 years. And after eating the brisket here (twice) I now have to ask myself, do I want to spend 13 hours smoking brisket at home, or let these guys do the work?
We recently hosted our company Christmas party here this past weekend, and everything was excellent. Our guests were happy, and we especially loved having the private room. Lori, Savannah, Jose, and David went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was great, the ambiance was wonderful, and the staff was extremely attentive. They were also very easy to work with throughout the planning and coordination process. We all had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this venue for company events.
OMG THE BACON!!! We had a fantastic brunch experience at Cork & Batter! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm and welcoming vibe. The décor had this perfect blend of cozy and stylish, making it a great place to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make us feel at home. As for the food and drinks, everything we tried was absolutely amazing. The flavors were spot on, and the drinks were just as delightful; exquisitely flavored food and a solid selection overall. Highly recommend this spot for a fantastic meal and a great atmosphere!
Loved this place! First time here and the service was speedy, respectful and friendly. Alfred was our server and Manny was the shift manager. Great guys! Alfred checked on us multiple times to ensure we enjoyed the food, the experience and offered us options on drinks, menu items and other events the restaurant hosts on weekends. The food is beyond words for me! I appreciate that the menu offers a variety of BBQ favorites but also some vegetarian and other healthy menu items for those on dietary restrictions. The ambiance is welcoming with an open bar in the middle, comfortable seating, TVs and a pool table. But if you want a quieter place, the opposite side has a smaller room for more quiet eating. Highly recommend this place! Ask for Alfred as your waiter.

(Updated. The manager came over to help explain why they were out of food, etc (we did not ask for the manager, he just came over)and apologized. They were very kind and apologetic. Still bummed though. ) Love the atmosphere and decor. But they were out of over half of the menu!!! (This was a 4:15pm rsvp on a Sunday) Also the pictures on the website under the simi location were not available at all at the simi location. I was so disappointed. And they didn’t have the signature margarita flight either. So bummed. Service was slow as well and our server seemed untrained on the menu etc. But the meat they did have was delicious, and the drinks we were able to get were great! If they fix the menu, we would happily come back.
Long story short: Upscale casual dining spit with great entrees, good service, great atmosphere. While they may still be figuring out some of the side items, the entrees and the barbecue were absolutely delicious, and we’ll definitely be back for more, especially their pecan pie! Long version: Our entrees were delicious. The hanger steak and tri tip sandwich both came smothered in caramelized onion goodness, and the meat came with nice sear/crisp on the outside and edges, both at a good pink medium rare as we ordered. The chicken sandwich was also delicious, a fried chicken cutlet in a pretzel bun with caramelized onion aioli, coleslaw, and pickles. The chicken could have been crispier, but I did not mind it at all, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We also enjoyed the tri tip salad. If you come here, you’ll love the entrees. And if you love caramelized onions, you’ll love this place. They have caddies with four barbecue sauces in them. One was a mustard bbq sauce and one was unlabeled. We didn’t try those. But the apricot barbecue sauce and the Dr. something barbecue sauce, we put on absolutely everything. Those two were great. The non-entree items are where we found some misses. We couldn’t eat the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. The cookies were admittedly delicious, but hard as rocks. The waiter kindly informed us that the cornbread is still a work in progress. The cornbread had good taste but was mushy as mashed potatoes. However, supposedly it was too dry before, so as soon as they find that sweet spot recipe, we have no doubt that that cornbread will come out great. Absolutely recommend the pecan pie with ice cream. It lasted all of 15 seconds on our table before we absolutely demolished it. We darn near licked the plate afterwards; that pecan pie has definitely not seen the last of our family, and we will be back for plenty more. In all, we loved our time here, vacuumed up all our entrees, loved the kind and polite service from all of the employees we spoke with, and enjoyed the atmosphere. They may still be working on certain smaller things as a newly opened restaurant, but even so, we really enjoyed our experience. Though they’re still ironing minor things out, we still loved it as it is now and will be back for more. (Sidenote - Their menu is also online and they seem to have some gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. All food items with nuts in them were clearly labeled for allergies. These food restrictions do not apply to us, but we appreciated the thought put into the menu for those that do. We came with our elderly auntie and her walker and were pleased to see they had ramps and accessible parking in front for those that may need it)
I had heard great things about this restaurant so I was excited to give it a try. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully designed and there’s a cool vibe and a huge bar in the center. The servers seemed to be very friendly and the food came out quickly. We started with the cornbread and honey butter which was very good. The cornbread was soft and buttery. I decided on the shrimp and grits as my main course and was disappointed as it was pretty bland and not very flavorful. My husband had much better luck with the brisket and ribs. I tried it and agreed that it was a much better choice. Very tender and flavorful. We also tried the chili beans, and coleslaw. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan of the sides. When I think bbq, I think about the places I’ve tried in Texas where the sides were just as amazing as the meats and I just didn’t feel that these sides were anything special. For dessert we tried the banana pudding and were once again slightly disappointed as it tasted a little too artificially sweet to me and not the authentic Southern banana pudding I’ve had before.
Solid 4.5. Arrived with reservations at 5:45 on Friday nite ( wish they had music earlier) doesn't start til 9:30 Wait staff attentive. Interacted with manager Matthew several times. Very helpful and friendly. Food-corn appetizer was enjoyed Sauces yummy. Husband loved pastrami sand. Thick Smokey pieces of meat. I liked the brisket sand very much. With apricot bbq sauce! Friends loved their ribs and mashed potato side. Only complaint is cost. $2 xtra for sweet potato fries, or onion rings (really yummy) and $16 charge for a Bloody Mary drink Food really good. Some items pricey. Banana pudding delish Management rocks! [
The food was great and our server Jessica was so nice and helpful! Only complaint is the beer sizes. Not sure who decided to make the only sizes 10 or 22 oz but they should be fired

Went in to for a quick bite at noon to check out this new place. Positives are it’s set up really nice. Great atmosphere. Beautiful interior. Nice bar area. Was not too busy. I sat at the bar. Took 10 minutes to be acknowledged and I had to ask for a menu. Took another 10 minutes and I had to ask one of the 5 people around the bar how I should order. Took another 40 minutes for my food to come out. And it wasn’t busy. So an impatient hour plus to get my food. I ordered the rib tips that were described as crispy and juicy. Not crispy at all! What I would describe as a dozen rib pieces. Not really rib tips as I’ve had them before. Could see where they were torn off some rib bones. Pretty soggy and fatty. Three sauces. Disappointing for BBQ is that they don’t have a spicy BBQ sauce. The two BBQ sauces that came with it were on the sweater side. The told me the Carolina mustard is their spicy sauce but honestly it just tastes like French’s mustard. For $18 the 12 rib tips don’t come with a side so I ordered the baked beans that were very good. I’ll give it another try and change my review if things improve.
Great atmosphere, and our server was great. Food was plain for BBQ food. Can't really go wrong with bbq ( burgers, meat etc) but unfortunately notthing had anytaste. went for a graduation party, alot of the people in the party was complaining about the food. Im pretty bummed I planned using them before they opened for my son's high school graduation therefore for months was looking forward to try it out. Hope they change up the menu bring in some flavors and possibly mashed potatoes but at the moment doesn't look like anytime soon.
Terrible service. And expensive. It took around 20 minutes from the moment we sat down to when we got our waters. Nothing except Our Brussels sprouts were hot everything was barely warm. Our server disappeared for long periods of time several times. We've been waiting 20 minutes for him to grab our check. I will however say the banana pudding was delicious and the best banana pudding I've ever had so that is the saving point in this.
Dinner Nov 2 2025. Was going great until the food started to arrive and it went downhill from there. To our surprise, the appetizers and main courses all arrived at the same the same time. We did not see our sever again until the guys showed up to start taking our plates away and it was payment time. We were looking forward to our street corn and cornbread appetizers. What a disappointment. The cornbread was simply barely warm squares cut from baking sheet made from a Betty Crocker mix earlier in the day with crappy honey butter. The street corn was a corn Cobb cut like a pin-apple strips covered in an unappealing sauce and were not edible and were also barely warm. For the main coarse the broccolini was great and hot, the mash potatoes room temperature and tasteless crap, the thin slic d tri-tip served in a tinfoil pan was unevenly cooked, was flavorful but also served barely warm. The potatoes and tri-tip quickly turned cold in part from the AC being in the low 70’s. As usual, hard to find good food in Simi Valley which is why we are always driving to either Westlake or Porter Ranch. We will not be returning unless to go to the bar and watch live sports.
Good Bbq and sides. Last time, the experience was not so good. Went for lunch time about 2pm. Ordered the 3 choice plate of meats. I ordered Tri-tip, chicken, brisket and a side of half rack of ribs. Everything was good until the server came back and told me they were out of ribs and the chicken portion only shredded chicken. That's not good if you are out of ribs and chicken at noontime. I will give them another try, if this keeps happening when other bbq restaurants do not have this problem, they will become another place that does not make it in Simi Valley.
I thought this was a new high end BBQ place (and it is) but it’s also a LOUD sports bar with distracting and loud tv screens which I found unpleasant. However the food was very good (although the grilled chicken was a bit dry and the beef underdone) and the menu has a lot of great options. But I doubt I’d go back unless my ears were ready for noise and know I’ll have difficulty hearing anyone talk. The decor is nice but very beige and lacks appetizing color choices. The service was impeccable our waiter was wonderful everyone was very nice.
This is a neat restaurant to visit. The decor and the atmosphere is really appealing and gives a fun roadhouse vibe. Sadly, that's about the best thing the restaurant has going for it. The Patron margarita tree was fun to order and drink. You can pick between 2 and 4 flavored margaritas. The margaritas were average at best, but definitely drinkable. It was fun to try a few different flavors. The cornbread was a bit void of flavor. The honey butter was the highlight, especially the spicy honey butter! I ordered the 3 meat platter and was disappointed to hear that they discontinued offering beef ribs 2 weeks before our visit and on the day of our visit they were out of tri tip. I ended up ordering baby back ribs, brisket and chicken. The baby back ribs were meaty yet not very tender to the bite. The brisket was very dry as if it was left over from the day before. The chicken was very similar, dry in texture and seemed not fresh. I'm not a BBQ conisour so I dont expect perfection, but I know when the meat isn't juicy and flavorful. I will say my favorite thing was the mashed potatoes. These were some of the best I've had. They weren't just mashed potatoes - they had seasonings and other flavora in the mash which with the gravy made them delicious! Not a great experience for us.. maybe we just came at a bad time or on a bad day.... I can't say I'd be willing to return to give them another shot when not much went right on this visit.
The brisket is very good and the sweet potato fries are the best in Simi for sure. The service was great. The drinks are weak. Overall, this is a great new restaurant. Update... Went for the second time and met up with friends. We had a good time and enjoyed our meals BUT I ordered the same meal and was surprised when it came. This visit I ordered a full serving of brisket for the second time I received 3 times as much meat! Also, it had pickled onions, jalapeños, and pickles, which I did not get the first visit. See pictures. I'm a little disappointed as I was obviously short-changed on the first visit. Also, the presentation of the sweet potato fries was less appealing the second visit. That said, the food was very good, and I will acknowledge it is a new restaurant, and they are probably still working out the kinks.

So we came here as a large group. They were happy to accommodate us. The place wasn't particularly busy (as to be expected on a weekday evening). First impressions were good. The interior was clean and welcoming. The furniture was mostly in good repair, though some chairs were wobbly. The gentleman who was working the host was very nice. The smell of the restaurant was amazing. Our server, Jessica, was super friendly and enthusiastic about the restaurant. Even the busser was polite and asked before removing any plates. We were able to order a few items off the happy hour menu. The old fashioned was surprisingly good for a happy hour drink. The onion rings were pretty decent. The batter was nice and light. I wish they came with a good sauce instead of just ketchup. The sliders were pretty dry. The smoked wings were ok. They didn't really get a good coating of the apricot bbq sauce, and the wings themselves had very little flavor without the sauce. The ranch was watery and didn't really stick to the food. The flavor of the ranch was ok, but it did have big pieces of herb stems that weren't super pleasant. The street corn was okay. It mostly just tasted like the spicy mayo which was the kind you would find at a sushi restaurant. It was missing that bbq smoke flavor I was expecting. The ice cream that came on the pecan pie seemed very low quality... like melted ice cream that was refrozen. The banana pudding was okay but had that off taste of something that has too much sweetness. It was really missing a balancing agent such as a neutral vanilla cake mixed in or maybe fresh pieces of banana. The food overall felt very clean and I didn't leave feeling like I ate a super heavy meal, even with all the fried food. I would probably give it a second try, but I was a bit disappointed overall in the food during this visit.
I have been looking forward to the opening of this restaurant since 2023 and was very let down by the quality of the food. The look of the restaurant is great and service was perfect but the food was just not good. I got the country fried chicken that came with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were the only good tasting thing I ate. The chicken was extremely dry with hard breading and absolutely no seasoning. I was only able to finish a couple bites of it. Mac and cheese had no flavor and the cornbread was dry as well. I had such high expectations after seeing the first couple reviews come in on facebook and local groups. I hope things improve here because it is nice to have a more upscale restaurant in the neighborhood but it was not a good experience today.
Went in to try this place . Literally around the corner from me , so I chose to walk for lunch . Got there the atmosphere felt chill , server was also cool . When we got our food I was met with a mouth full of burnt char. I had ordered a burger and it honestly sucked. My bother had a chicken sandwich and fries and the oil tatsted like it hadn’t been changed. Compare the pics I took with others posted and I think you’ll agree . Definitely a place to avoid.
Service was great, I had a nice young woman and she was very attentive and sweet. However, the food was honestly very disappointing. The meat was very salty and dry, the salads were all bland and much too cheesy, and the drinks were watered down. I was hoping for a better experience because my family loves barbecue, but we were left disappointed with the quality of the food here. The only thing that was good was the fries and the mixed drinks.

I took my 6 yr old on a daddy daughter date so my expectations weren’t too high, unfortunately I would even take my 6 year old back here for another date, I feel like so got cheated out of a nice dinner. They don’t have ANY pasta sauce for there kids butter fettuccini so my daughter was cool and settled for the sliders which weren’t much better. I ordered the tri tip sandwich and it was skirting, the bun was soggy but the taste was good. I feel like anything I asked, they either did not have or “ran out of” also I do understand I was there on a Sunday football night but the people at the bar were so obnoxious it disrupted the entire Restraunt and really killed the atmosphere. May visit again but not in a rush.

ABSOLUTELY POOR customer service just in trying to make a reservation. Called several times after opening time, receive automated reservation but because of the number people I had for the reservation was transferred to a representative to no one answering. Tried this several times. Finally, got a hold of a bartender, took my number and information down and said will have someone call me back to confirm. Here it is 2 hours later from start of all of this and no call back. Never again. Went to their competitor in Simi with excellent customer service.
We went for the first time with friends. I ordered the vegan burger and it had to be the worst thing I've ever eaten. You have to season veggie meat just like regular meat but they did not. It was room temp and absolutely tasteless. The bun was greasy, the grilled onions were swimming in oil. The whole thing was a mushy gross tasteless mess. My friend ordered some brisket sandwich that she didn't even finish because she also said it was gross. I ordered an old fashioned that I swear didn't even have any whiskey in it, it was so watered down. Plus it didn't even taste like an old fashioned. And everything was so extremely overpriced. The music was so loud we had to yell to hear each other and the service was so-so. Very disappointed, will never go back.
