The Naked Cafe

Naked Café is my favorite restaurant for breakfast! The food is clean and healthy and absolutely delicious! The buck wheat pancakes are so good. I usually get one on the side with the egg white pesto scramble. We love the Solana beach location because we can take a walk on the beach after a yummy breakfast.

Cozy atmosphere over looking beach, mass quantities of food good tasting. All items seem prepared correctly.

This little restaurant has both outside and inside seating although the inside is open for great ocean breezes on 2 sides. Very clean and colorful decor and very friendly staff. Our food was delicious, well prepared and fresh. Our server was charming and never had to wait for service ,he was always there with a smile. Anyone wanting breakfast or lunch should try this little gem!

Oh my gosh!!! This place has such a whimsical charm. Naked Cafe makes you feel like you’re in a cute little beach themed wonderland, wind blowing in your hair, and a salty breeze you can’t get enough of. Just like the atmosphere, the food and drinks are also to die for! I had the lavender matcha and let me just say, it blows Starbucks new lavender matcha OUT OF THE PARK!!! I also had the Honey Cinnamon Latte made by Nathan and let me just say it’s SOOOO delicious!🤗 My server Riley accommodated every single one of my requests! She was so kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend, 10/10 rating!

One of my favorites for years. I’m not a big steak and Eggs gal, but the medallions are perfection here. Especially, with the breakfast potatoes and some sourdough. It’s a lot of food, which for me = 2 meals, even better. Everyone is kind and attentive, which I really appreciate. I worked as a waitress and bartender for over 20 years. I get that times are tough for many people, but kindness is free and goes a long way. ☮️💟☯️

Came here to have lunch with my sister & mom. Lovely. Patio backs up to fletcher cove with shade for most tables. Had a bowl meal with steak, salsa verde & roasted potatoes. Harmony bowl I believe. Splendid. Thx Dixie for taking care of us.

This is my go-to cafe in Solana Beach due to their excellent breakfast and lunch menus and their proximity to Fletcher Cove. My menu favorites are the Sunshine Latte and the night owl oatmeal, but you can't go wrong with anything on their menu. They offer tons of gluten-free and vegan options as well.

Great place for brunch. They have got many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Service was prompt and great. Food was delicious and healthy. Drinks were really good too! Mimosas were a little too sweet, but good nonetheless. Definitely recommend this place!

Very surprised that this place was near empty while others in the area were buzzing with customers. This little cuzy cafe has so many great things going for it. First i loved how they dealt with covid by having both an outdoor spot and an indoor spot with outside ventilation. You have clear views of the ocean which is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and fast and the food- both selection and quality was top notch. As an added bonus they note all the calories of each food- protein, carbs, fats! Highly recommended

Delicious food!! Vegetarian and vegan food options too. Food presentation is lovely. Friendly workers. Clean setting. Quick service, unless they are understaffed at the time. Closing time is early (2:30pm), only bothers me because I'd like to eat there in the evenings too. Hopefully they'll get windows installed instead of a clear tarp, otherwise the decor was comfortable, pleasing to the eye, and laid-back.

Loved this place! Outdoor or Indoor seating in a covered type setting. Food was great. Service was excellent. Waitress Kate and Hostess Shilah were both friendly and smiled providing a wonderful experience. Food prices were reasonable. Pancakes were amazing. Once we ordered, the food arrived quicker than take out. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the beach.

This place is nothing less than amazing. The orange juice was so fresh and did not have any added sugar. So many options for vegans and the overall combination of ingredients was fantastic. We wish the ginger sesame Tofu had more flavor since it was quite bland but other than that everything was great. We ordered the Crispy Burrito and Red Green Pagoda.

The food is always consistently delicious and there’s options for everyone. I particularly love the Plate of Prosperity and the Oceans Blue latte. The staff is also always friendly and patient despite it always being busy. Definitely a favorite standard!

Absolutely loved our experience here! Marco welcomed us very warmly and explained the menu so extremely well. My boyfriend ordered the avocado toast and I ordered the Huevos Rancheros which was a healthier version of the dish that I have had in the past. Marco also encouraged us to try the coconut French toast and it was sooooo good! From the drinks to the food, everything tastes super healthy and fresh!

stopped by on a monday at around 12 pm and it was super crowded with a wait time of about 15ish minutes; however, after eating there i can see why! once seated, the service was attentive and very quick, with the food coming out shortly after the order was placed. when the food arrived, it was very hot (almost too hot to eat!). i ordered the crispy burritos, and was pleasantly surprised by the vegan sausage and general flavors of the burritos. i also thought the salsa was pretty tasty! in addition to that, i ordered a tree hugger pancake (mango and coconut) with the gluten free/vegan batter. i found that the pancake was tasty, but a little bit dry. not dry enough to cause any issues, of course, because i ate the whole thing! overall, i was impressed with both the food and service, and i’d definitely recommend this restaurant!

My friend suggested this place for lunch and we loved it! It's right across the street from the ocean and a block from Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach. There was a nice breeze and perfect weather when we were there. It has a large outdoor patio seating area in front. There were small patio umbrellas scattered around but it was still too sunny so we opted to sit in the covered seating area above. We had a great view of the ocean. The food was delicious and so healthy. I ordered the Pesto Scramble this time. There were a lot of other dishes that I wanted to try so we will be back.

Overall very good. This spot is right by the water so it’s great for breakfast and a walk. They have vegan and vegetarian options. It gets pretty busy so expect a crowd. I was there for a rare experience of taking myself out to breakfast 😋 The staff were nice but busy! The food was good and I really enjoyed my latte! You can view the water from some of the tables. Not fancy but has character. I was able to find parking in a near by lot on a mid-Saturday morning. Bon appétit 🤩

Every time I am visiting the area I always go to the Naked Cafe. Their food is always great with the healthy options. This location is closed to the water with nice outside place. I wish there will be more similar cafes on the east coast. Special thanks from the dog for the breakfast as well :)

We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon at The Naked Cafe. The atmosphere was lovely, and we were seated immediately. The staff were incredibly pleasant, and the menu was impressive, especially the abundance of vegan choices. The food presentation was top-notch, and we appreciated the balance of nutrients and creativity. Pictures don't do it justice – you have to try it! We'll definitely be returning.

The gluten free, vegan Fuzzy Monkey is a must-try item! All food was good. Drinks were amazing too. Loved the hammerhead, latte, and mimosas with fresh-squeezed juice. What a treat!

This is the perfect little breakfast spot! Right next to a beautiful beach and park area, It is nestled in like a little treasure spot. Very quaint and unique menu. Everything we had it was absolutely delicious. Very dog friendly...which is a big plus for me! In fact, they have a dog menu! Steak and eggs, chicken and eggs and a few other assortments to put some food in your pup's belly. The coffee was delicious and our server, Riley was just as nice and welcoming as she could possibly be. The way she treated us, you would think that she owned the place. She was fantastic! The blueberry pancakes were some of the best I've ever had. They used fresh blueberries and folded them in perfectly. They made the perfect scrambled eggs and the ideal crispiness to the bacon. We also had the burrito which was the perfect size for a breakfast bite. Rosemary potatoes and black beans accompanied the burrito and it was fantastic. They have some indoor seating and patio seating and I highly recommend the patio. Watching people pass by with their surfboards heading to the beach and people walking their dogs in the neighborhood. It's such a great neighborhood place. Every time we're in the area we will make sure to come back!

This place is always fabulous. Good food with a view, and quick service. You can find parking right in front or around the corner in the neighborhoods. There are many vegetarian options and just a handful of vegan options (but they are there!). Their matcha and espresso drinks come in their super large mugs, but note that the cappuccino comes in a smaller cup. For what reason, I'm not sure. Alternative milk options for $0.75 extra • Almond • Coconut • Oat • Soy

So many wonderful healthy choices that it was hard to decide! This place is a relatively small restaurant but very open and bright as well. If you sit on the far end of the restaurant, there is a nice view of the beach. I went with my friend and we both enjoyed our lattes and meal. The wait staff was not quite as attentive as they could have been (it took 5-10 minutes after being seated to order drinks and then they were never refilled) so that's why I gave 4 stars. Overall though, if you want a delicious and health conscious meal, this place is a must visit!

Very good food. Healthy and hearty vegan options. Food is always delicious! Great customer service. I love that it’s right next to the beach. A solid 5 stars cafe and cozy food spot. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars due to the poor bathroom location/condition. Overall a great place to eat. I recommend!

Currently they have a terrible fly problem that needs to be addressed. You can't sit down without having flies about you. Their trash bins are next to the outside seating area and I don't see any measures to get rid of the flies, like fly traps, etc. The food and the service is great, but they got to address the fly problem.

Huge menu perhaps too huge. My Thai wrap had little taste and certainly wasn't Thai flavored. Service was ok but not great. Location was excellent as close to the beach.

It was VERY VERY VERY hot inside. It made it kinda hard to enjoy the place. The server was nice but that's pretty much it. I won't be coming back here for food wise. The lattes looked good. I didn't get to try any though. The mimosas were a bit hot when brought to us. My friends also agreed that there food was very bland with no flavor. I think only one friend liked her plate (the pesto scrambled plate).

It was VERY VERY VERY hot inside. It made it kinda hard to enjoy the place. The server was nice but that's pretty much it. I won't be coming back here for food wise. The lattes looked good. The Naked Cafe in Solona Beach left a lot to be desired. I was charged $17 for what I thought were two coffees, and I was met with a disheartening experience. After waiting 12-15 minutes, I received only one coffee. Assuming the second was ready, I picked up another from the counter, only to be told I mistakenly took someone else's. The manager, who initially took my order, argued that I only ordered one. The situation was frustrating and disappointing. Overcharged or scammed, either way, I was left with a bitter taste. Never returning.

We were seated, givin our water and menus and were told our waiter would be right over. 30 minutes later we were still sitting there unserved. We walked out and were told to have a nice day. The place wasn't busy..Other customers came and went with no isues. This was the Solana Beach location 🤷‍♀️
