Delicious bagels and sandwiches. I’ve been going since I was three and they never disappoint. The new owners have made the place even more inviting, and the bagels even more delicious

I stopped in to see what I could make work for breakfast, and was nicely surprised by the choices. The young lady at the counter was totally accommodating to my order: a sesame seed bagel, with just egg, no ham or cheese or anything else (I personally am not fond of butter/cream cheese/mayo etc... others may like such things, but I really don't). Anyway, I got my basic egg and sesame seed bagel, nicely toasted, and it was *excellent*. And the price was great too! I should have bought two, in retrospect. The shop has a nice rustic wood trim vibe. I am definitely planning to be back :)

KateLynn the owner is AMAZINGLY friendly. We had a few bagels and cream cheese spreads, breakfast bagel and a coffee. 10/10 definitely coming here again. Jalapeño cheese bagel with sausage, egg, and cheese 🤤🤤

Would be good without the sausage and egg, but was just as good and slightly better with the sausage and egg. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was their recommendation to get the herb cream cheese.

The pizza bagel was delicious! Everything was a great price. Unfortunately they were out of tortillas so they couldn't make a breakfast burrito.

I wanted something other than hotel coffee and continental breakfast. I ordered a latte and an egg bagel. It was pretty good, it could have used some cream cheese I requested so it wouldn't be too dry. The coffee was fine, more flavorful than hotel coffee.

Not the best bagels, not the worst. Kinda chewy and bland. Reminded me of a soft preztal.

I'm disappointed that the bagels were not fresh - they had to be at least a day or two old. Wish there was more of a selection - they were out of most of the good ones. Only two choices of shmeers - pain and herb. The day and times on the internet are not correct. Had to wait 45 minutes for the shop to open at 6:30 am. The young lady behind the counter was very nice.

This place used to be a favorite...and I'll probably try it again but I remember a time when they actually toasted their bagels before adding cream cheese. I was so excited to have the blueberry frosted bagel with cream cheese and the jalapeño pizza bagel I've been raving about in Southern California for the last 5years and today I went in and left doing a little happy dance and then I unwrapped it and took a bite. Nothing is worse than a cold untoasted cream cheese bagel. I remember the first time I went there and why I kept going back the slight crisp of the bagel the warm melted cream cheese....I remember how fire it was. But today.....super disappointed. Especially since I couldn't eat the 3 I bought.

I wasn’t going to post a review bashing a small town eatery, but after I read the bad reviews about how this place doesn’t like tourists LOL — funny, since it’s in a hotel town, possibly relying on business of people passing thru??? ANYWAYS, I wouldn’t call this place a bagel shop. My assumption is the bagels aren’t boiled. They taste like plain, dry bread, not chewy, the texture bagels should be. Disappointed with the 2 dry bagels I purchased, didn’t even finish eating them… let me be clear, there was cream cheese, but the bread itself was still very dry

I am only giving this one two stars because I would like to give only one star for the very timid service. The guy was sitting down on his phone talking to some other customers and I was looking to get something good and he got up and he made me feel like he demanded me to order something right away. He was very rude and was only satisfied after he got my money. The two stars however are for him cleaning my debit card, which was very polite, and for the decent taste of the bagels 🥯 😋 🤔. Other than that... Please get your guy's stuff together and hire more staff. I think that it would make the experience a lot better for everybody who keeps coming in. I am definitely not coming back until I either hear or see some changes being done. 😐😑😐

This place was not that great. I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel, the dang thing barely had flavor and tasted like raw dough despite being cooked all the way through. She got the onion and cheese, the only flavor shining through was oddly enough the poppy seed and dough. Despite the fact that she got a breakfast bagel with egg and sausage The lattes that my wife and I ordered were burnt.,I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. I would say I’ve had worse, but that would be a lie.

I was disappointed again. I went here when my kids were little and the coffee was bad so I stopped going. Today I went in to try them at their new spot. The owner was working the counter. I asked for a breakfast sausage and cheese sandwich with some veggies thrown on. 3.25 listed for a price. He said your want a veggie with sausage and egg... And I was like yeah... But only butter not the cheese. He charged me 4.25 for a veggie sandwich with no cheese and then added 3.00 on fire the cost of the sausage and egg. He literally charged me 7.25 for a breakfast sandwich with some veggies. You could argue he charged me 3 bucks for veggies... Either way, he literally created the most expensive up sale he could get. And again, I am highly disappointed and have made the same decision I made years ago. It's not worth it, the coffee is mediocre, and the owner charges every cent he can get while being dismissive. Not a fan. Bagel is pretty decent though. Rest of the food is normal cheap microwaved breakfast fare. Veggies are decent. Oh... And he got the order wrong for two sandwiches. My husband ordered bacon with cheese and cream cheese and. He got a sausage and egg sandwich. I wouldn't go.

The bagel display had flies inside. So I ordered a slushy, the slushy was wayyyy too sweet and couldn’t even drink it. Just tasted like syrup. The place was empty and I would not return again.

Sandwich was poorly made. I got both heels of the bread for the Sandwich. Worst Sandwich I ever had.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Terrible service, they have moldy food in the display case. They don’t have the updated hours for the new owner. This place should have never sold its a shame this is what the best breakfast place in town has turned into.

Well they took our order simple order they got it wrong twice! And also other people at the same time experienced the same out come! The owner let his employees yell at a customer! (NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL) I had to ask for a refund cause when they got my order correct it was under cooked! My wife threw hers away case the Begala was not even cooked all the way still doughy in the middle! Will never eat there again and do not recommend this place for anyone ! Have great eating experience some where else!

Would leave 0 stars if possible. When I told the man at the counter I wanted 7 bagels to go, his first response was “Did you call ahead?” What? I’m not getting a two dozen, or even one dozen! I then said no. He next barked “Are you from out of town?” Wait - what does that matter? But I was a tourist, so I replied yes. He then asked if I was getting all the same kind, and I said no, a mix. I then asked for 3 sesame, which happened to be all that was left in the case. Are you ready for this? He said “no, I can’t sell you all of them, other people might need them for their orders.” What? So we picked some others and then paid. He never rang me up on the check stand, but just asked for my credit card. I gave it to him, and he soon handed it back and said “you’re good to go.” Since I hadn’t seen anything rang up, I asked for a receipt. He then seriously said “You’re being high maintenance!” And then handed me the receipt. I love to support local businesses when I travel. But this business was horrible to us tourists. And on top of it all, the bagels were NOT good. None. Not the sesame, poppy, jalapeño or everything. Will absolutely not be returning.

Pooe service, rude, poor coffee, poor sandwich. Went on a recommendation, they were just out of coffee and would not make a make pot for their customers, (the people behind me wanted coffee too and at $2.00 a cup he lost out on $7.00 bucks. It only cost about $1.20 to make a new pot). The bagle I wanted was made on the wrong bagle, as well as my wifes, it was stale and tough to eat without everything in it I requested. Also while sitting outside the man/owner inside was making fun of the fact that we could not believe he was out of coffee, he did not know we could hear him. He was rude when I asked about buying a dozen bagles so I choose not to buy any or interact with him any more and my wife and I went next door for coffee. I am new in town and wanted a good place to get coffee and a bagle and Bagle Bin is not the place...ever.

The bagels themselves are fine but what makes me actually write up this one star is the fact that the guy behind the counter was so rude I do NOT understand! We walked in all friendly since we’re visiting Sonora for the day, but the guy kept asking us to repeat our order (not once, not twice, but way more than three I’ve genuinely lost count) and when we asked what was available, because apparently they were out of some specific items, he replied with “look at the board”. So in the end; just really awful and horrible service. He ultimately ruined our hopes for what we hoped the charming and rustic environment Sonora held regarding customer service.

I used to run Sonora Joe’s Coffee Shoppe with my dad where the newer Bagel Bin is, and was pretty happy when Sarge bought the shop. The food was always good and the employees were amazing. Loved visiting for the nostalgic value of revisiting a place I love and getting a good treat. A new lady bought the location and now the customer service is practically gone, they rarely have a variety of bagels anymore, and my breakfast sandwiches for months had under toasted bagels and over cooked eggs. Last time I expressed my offense over hearing their staff talk garbage from the kitchen and their constant shortage of bagels for being a bagel shop, it actually got me banned. So I see that the owner also would rather lose customer than correct the offensive behavior of employees. It’s a shame, bad staff, bad presentation, hit and miss food, and a horrible new owner.

She was snapping on me like they close in 5 minutes, when there was an hour and a half left. While trying to give her ingredients I wanted, I probably told her three times I wanted avocado on my sandwich. She informed me about the charges for bacon, but my sandwich didn't have any Avocado. She seems so aggravated that I was there and fighting with the register. I wanted to order a drink and hang out but she had made me so uncomfortable about ingredients and time and fees. There were approximately three or four workers but there was no one in the store to serve. Similar to my last experience, me and another guest waiting on our orders, observed the processing of our orders were called out for staring and treated as if we weren't supposed to be there by the worker woman.

This place deserves the poor ratings. The employees were handling food without gloves. I saw the cashier take a cash payment, wipe her face with her hands, then grab bagels from the case with her bare hands!!! Stay away if you don’t want to get sick. This place is so gross

My first time visiting the customer service had me feeling like I was incompetent when I was visiting on a referral and asking for how their ordering works, but the quality of the product had me coming back. Today there was a error with the ordering process ; and the manager called me at work after I left a message with her, to speak to me about the issue. Upon answering her call, I let her know that I was at work and would call back later to rectify the issue. She replied immediately "Um Ok, but just so you know........" without honoring my request to contact later, or asking what the problem was. It is one thing for user error to occur, it is a completely separate issue to handle a customer poorly. I was not impressed with the way this was handled beginning to end.

Called to reserve 2 bagels, due to driving from put of area. Picked up and on our way home opened and they were hard as rocks. Called and excuse was they don't do fresh bagels on weekend. Why wouldn't you tell people when you know they are driving there. They did give me 2 replacement ones but had to drive again over 2 hrs there then back. Would not recommend. You would think after selling 3 day hard bagels to someone out of town you would give them extra to correct poor service.

Don’t recommend, not one employe knew what a dirty soda was that I was asking about, that was on there menu, waited about 25 minutes for our food, then another 20 for our drink and cinnamon roll, come to find out the girl didn’t even charge us for it so had to re pay and wait even longer, cinnamon roll was at least 4 days old, was very stale, breakfast bagels were disgusting and they were out of everything.

We arrived well before closing and the doors were locked even though there was food out and staff inside. The owner told us they were closed, then said to come back later/tomorrow, then finally let us in to wait. When we tried to order six pizza bagels, the rules kept changing—first no, then yes if it was assorted, then suddenly only one and it had to be a “sandwich.” Even when we offered to pay for it as a sandwich (without spread), we still couldn’t get what we came for. On top of that, the owner was rude and dismissive. If there are ordering limits, they should be communicated clearly and consistently. We wanted to support this place, but the service made that impossible.
