Amazing authentic Mexican Food!!! Chile Relleno is really good!! The only one who made it better was my Mother at her home in large cast iron skillets. Service is warm & friendly too, & priced just right!!! We love this Cocina!

My favorite place in Sonora. Both locations on Mono Way are good. I love the burrito supreme with green sauce. I've had several things on the menu and have never been disappointed.

Staff need to up their game to price match other Mexican restaurants in the area. They over price for the same quality of El Rey, go there least they are fair @ El Rey and give you more food for your buck. Sadly you have to tip here, I don't because they over price. Food is good however, just if you're watching your wallet um no.

This is been a favorite for my wife and I for many years. One time we came in for breakfast and sat at a booth. We waited for a few minutes and a waitress came by and said they weren't open yet. We apologized and said that we are hungry for breakfast. She asked us what we wanted, we told her, they fed us even though they weren't open yet. This is the way you treat your customers!

Great selection on the lunch menu. Generous amounts and the service was fast and pleasant. We have no hesitation to take an out of town visitor there.

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was 6 years old. that is 24 years. This is my famous favorite restaurant and we come here at least once a week maybe more!! Love the food and love the salsa and cabbage mix!!!!

So happy they have Mole! For those that dont know, it is a savory chocolate sauce over some tender chicken. So good, would highly recommend!

Last minute dinner decision for family of four. Ordering was quick and easy. The food came fast and the price was really great for the fantastic food that was ordered and served! Definitely worth another stop from the Bay Area when we roll thru again!

In a community where it's difficult to find good food I would have to give these people three stars because the food was well decent. You might have to park down the street and walk there. I've only been there once but I would go there again

This place is decent when it's on, but sometimes something is not right and the food has no character. Very good on my most recent visit.

The chips and salsa were delicious! The servers were great. We were there towards the end of the night, like an hour before closing, and it seemed like our plates were pieced together from whatever was left from the day. The rice came about ten min after we got our food because they had to make more, it was very disjointed.

Server said cook lost our ticket, but I feel if she would of checked in on us sooner than 50 mins after taking order, would of realized. Saw our server when took order then 50 mins later to deliver our food. Nothing I between or after. Food was good once it arrived. Also, requested lemon for water, never came back to give to my dad.

I ordered a quesadilla sincronizada from here 01/07/23 @ 115pm. It was supposed to come with pico de gallo and sour cream. No pico to speak of… just a teaspoon of tomatoes.. I guess I’ll just chew through this with nothing. Thanks for nothing

The plate was cold. Having bad service is one thing but being argued with by staff made us very uncomfortable and we left as soon as possible.

My wife and I have been dining at your restaurant for 20 years. We know Mariza, Chiito, and Uvia, and they all provide excellant service and your cooks make great food. THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE FOOD OR THE SERVICE, IT IS ABOUT THE PRICE HIKES IN YOUR MENU. U have raised prices at least 3 times since Covid and I feel u are going to lose customers as a result of this last price hike, 5 dollars for a side of rice, 5 dollars for a side of beans! Wow!! We come twice a week to your restaurant, that unfortunately wont be happening from now on.

First time there. They charged for chips and salsa?!!! The salsa was like a liquid taco sauce out of a bottle. The soft taco had no taco sauce and mostly lettuce and cheese chopped tomatoes pieces. If the salsa is good it’s always a good food. if the salsa is terrible it has terrible food. I had a gastric bypass and all I can eat is small amounts (ala carte menu). They should let a person know before putting chips & salsa on their table. If I was told that I would of left to go eat somewhere else.

Poor service brought our appetizer out after our meal came out waited on drink refills and although the food presentation looked amazing the food wasn't that good. Enchilada sauce had ton of chile powder and someone needs teach cook how make chile Verde. Beans and rice were very bland

I really wished this place would improve since they are close to home but no luck. No al pastor, their enchilada sauce is bad. Their mole sauce has soy sauce in it!! My family loves pozole but tonite it was cold and they didnt give us tostados on the side. And... you have to pay for the side of chips and salsa! My wife picked up the food and asked for extra salsa and they would not! If you want mexican food in sonora this is NOT the place to go. I highly advise to go to la esmeralda or the taqueria sonora. I will never go to this place again.

horrible service..... i paid with$100 bill and got shorted $20 and got told i was the one who didnt do the math!!!! she then agreed she was short my $20 and gave me the $20 with a rude attitude and eye rolls! please PLEASE check your meal prices and redue the math because you cant count on them to be honest! soo sad. I was a loyal consumer!

We called ahead to see what time they closed they told us 8 o’clock. We pull up at 7 and when they see us they turn their lights off really quick and tell us they are closed. We told them we were the ones who just called and talked to them on the phone and they told us “sorry, it was slow, we decided to close”. We had just called, drove all the way from Angels Camp and were denied by the same woman we spoke on the phone with.

No one picked up the phone when I called them. Both orders were exactly the same but two burritos were in a box and the other two in aluminum foil without the green sauce I asked for.

The restaurant was beautiful inside but the food was weird. My cheese enchilada was wrapped in a crepe with rubber cheese inside, the sauce was spaghetti sauce, rice and bean tasted weird. I took one bit and couldn't even swallow it, I threw the whole thing away. Was not Mexican food at all. Service was great and atmosphere. I don't like posting negative reviews but I have to warn people it's weird or not traditional Mexican food. Sorry
