i would give cuppa tahoe 25 stars out of 5 if i could. everything about this gem of a bookstore, coffee shop, and co-working space is above and beyond. the staff is friendly and knowledgable, cheerful and warm. their homemade pumpkin spice blend with the excellent chai was the best i've ever had and i was able to find creative one of a kind gifts. the co-working space is unmatched and they have a fantastic process for signing in and out, getting drinks delivered, etc. i would literally fly back to tahoe from my home in portland, Or just to return to cuppa tahoe. don't miss your chance to visit this gem!

Such a cozy place! You know how many people wish to open a cafe with a bookstore inside? This place is like that dream coming true. Bookstore part is small and there are people sitting around shelves, so if you're shopping for books, it may become awkward. However the to-be-read-in-the-store books are a quite useful and cool feature. I really love their coffee as well. Quite flavorful.

Cuppa Tahoe is one of the coolest coffee shops I’ve been to. It offers a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, with funky little corners perfect for reading, working, or just hanging out. The vibe is relaxed and creative, with people on laptops, flipping through books, or chatting quietly. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries were surprisingly good. It’s definitely a hidden gem in South Lake Tahoe—highly recommend stopping by.

Loved my visit!! Cuppa is a vibrant, multi-purpose bookstore, coffee shop, and attached co-working space. I could tell by the layout that there is such an intentionality behind every square inch in an effort to provide a cozy, yet accessible space. I appreciate how creative they were with their book displays and utilizing every inch for either seating or their well-curated book selection. The staff were super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Outstanding cafe. Excellent smooth cortado, nice food. I had a figgy Brie toast with fresh arugula and an edible violet. The place is full of books and gifty stuff with lots of nooks and corners to sit comfortably, in addition to a coworking station and a conference room! But most remarkable is the super positive and friendly staff.

Every time I visit Tahoe, I always make a trip to this coffee shop. The shop sells books and local art alongside their delicious drinks. There’s also a bookshelf where you can pick out books and read while you enjoy a coffee or tea. Today, it started snowing and everyone and their mother seemed to be in line here for a hot beverage and a warm space to watch the snow. Despite the sudden rush, everyone working remained positive. They communicated wait times to people coming in and were altogether lovely. The experience here is worth the wait on the days it does get busy. It’s such a great little shop!

Cuppa Coffee is easily one of the cutest coffee shops I’ve ever been to — tucked inside a bookstore, it’s got an incredibly charming and welcoming vibe. The interior decor is adorable and picture-perfect; I could honestly spend all day here just soaking in the aesthetic and snapping photos. The heart of this place, though, is the lovely team of women running the show. They’re warm, humble, and truly care about each customer. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a coffee shop where the staff takes a genuine moment to ask about your day — that kind of personal touch is rare and so appreciated. As for the coffee — it’s outstanding. They offer a great variety of flavors, with the brown sugar latte and strawberry latte being my personal favorites. My husband enjoyed the drip coffee, which was smooth and full-bodied. We also tried the avocado toast and the almond peanut butter banana toast — both delicious. The croissant and chocolate muffin were okay, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. One thing to keep in mind: the wait can be long. It’s a popular spot (and for good reason), but if you’re in a rush or hoping to grab a quick coffee to-go, this might not be your best bet. On our visit, it took about 25 minutes to get our order. A few extra hands in the kitchen could really help speed things up. That said, I would absolutely come back for the coffee and the atmosphere. If I’m ever in town again, Cuppa Coffee will be one of my first stops

This is about as good as it gets when it comes to a locally loved small business. We were blown away by the personal touches and intricate details within the retail section! So many amazing products by local authors, artists, and enthusiasts. The coffee and drinks were incredible and I personally loved the compostable cups they were served in. This will be a go-to spot each time we come through Tahoe and it should be for you too!

LOVED this bookstore/coffee shop. So many cute set ups for places to work or read. There was also an excellent selection of books. Also loved the section of books to read while at the coffee shop! The coffee was delicious as well. Service was great too, everyone was very friendly. I cannot stress how CUTE this place is. If you love books and/or coffee, you need to stop here!

What a cool little coffee shop! From the vast selection of delicious brewed coffee’s and freshly made pastries, to the gift shop and reading nooks throughout the store, Cuppa Tahoe is a great place to stop for a bite, a sip or to relax. The staff is experienced and helpful in guiding you to the right flavor profile to fit your palette. There’s ample seating located both inside and outside of the shop, so you’ll have no issue finding a place to sit. The gift shop area has a large selection of odds and ends for both the tourist and locals. Overall, one of the best coffee shops in the Lake Tahoe region.

So nice we went twice! This space is a unique blend of a coffee shop, bookstore, and remote workspace. We ordered lattes and a chocolate croissant (I forgot to take a picture of the croissant 😁). Both the drinks and the pastry were decent, but the standout feature was definitely the ambiance. I would recommend checking it out
