Sierra Pizza

Came here on a late Thursday but got there too late before they closed. The pizza cook was nice enough to make an exception and make a couple slices for me. Really appreciated it and the slices were huge. A relatively thin crust with a load of toppings made it so worth. Food: 6/10 Value: 8/10

First time I went my pizza was burnt . I was with a friend and we ate it because we were starving. It looked and tasted nothing like NY STYLE I for some reason said, go back and give it Ah second try. Second time- WOOOW WHAT A EXCELLENT DIFFERENCE! Now that’s Ahh New York Style!!! I ordered 3 slices and the Pink lady cider and let me just say it sent me back home with NYC PIZZA PARLOR Tastebud thoughts. Oye - made my pizza the second time and Lindsay was my waitress both times. They both did a excellent job. Lindsey, was kind both occasions and provided me with cider samples. We had awesome conversations about NYC and Tahoe. What’s nice is, Lindsey smiles when she serves and speaks. The place is spacious, clean, has great tunes and you can shoot pool. By the slice or pie? I say try by the slice, if this is your first time. It’s walking distance to my new Tahoe abode and I will be a regular!

Where do I begin? I went to grab a slice for lunch one day and ended up coming back for dinner the next day. They’re not joking when they say jumbo slices and for only $7!!! What a deal. Not to mention, hella cool staff and cool vibes in that place with free pool. First lunch day I grabbed a meat lovers slice yummy!!!! For dinner the next day my hubby and I were craving some traditional pepperoni pizza and we were in love. Slices bigger than my head we grabbed two each with a beer and played free pool. Score!! Highly recommend if you’re craving a good slice of pizza or looking to have a low key date night.

The pizza served here is very tasty and fresh. I really liked the pizza by the slice. I ordered crispy chicken pizza and it had mozzarella topping and basil, really loved it. Friendly and excellent attentive staffs.

By far the best pizza I have ever had, I am from the east coast back in New Jersey and this taste the same as an east coast pizza, would highly recommend to anyone looking for some east coast pizza being brought to the west coast! Other than that the owner is beyond friendly and happy spirit!

They made us delicious gluten-free pizza right before closing a few weeks ago– after we hiked all day and there was nothing else open to eat. The staff was super kind, we are greatly appreciative, and pizza was so stocked with delicious toppings. 5/5 thank you guys!

This place actually surprised me. I stopped by on my last trip to Tahoe and wish I lived closer because it would be a regular spot for me. It has a very laidback atmosphere, cool artwork, pool tables, a few arcade games and a bar. The staff gave probably the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. They were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was AMAZING! I will be honest, because of how chill of a vibe it has I wasn't expecting the food to be so good. We had pizza, wings and fries, everything was perfect. This place is great for a relaxed hangout with friends or a low-key date night. My son, 8, had a great time playing the arcade games and a round of pool. The staff was very welcoming to us as a family but it seems more of a place young people come to hang out. Do what you want with that opinion.

The atmosphere was nice and they have two pool tables in the back. We will definitely be back!

They have a stage now for concerts. There is still free pool. The pizza is still very good and is crispy. We got the BBQ chicken. It had shredded chicken and onions. The BBQ sauce is a sweet sauce. We got the wings and they are crispy and good flavor. You can get four different dipping sauces. We also got the sweet truffle pistachio pizza. The pizza had multiple delicious flavors that all complimented each other in a unique way-- I would definitely recommend it!

Beer was served with a cold glass. The back room has a couple of pool tables, tvs, and video games. Friendly staff and the place was clean. Next time we're in SLT we will eat here again.

Absolutely amazing pizza. The choices they have to choose from are amazing. The one we ate had a basil pesto sauce with the red sauce. It was amazing. The crust was so perfect. Not too thick and not too thin! And the chicken wings had such an amazing flavor to them. They put the sauces on the side to ensure the crispy chicken. Customer service was great. Very friendly atmosphere!! Definitely a must try when ever in town!! We will be back for more flavors !!

This place gets 5 stars for great food and nice people. The decor would not be out of place in New York City, and I'll admit that at a certain time of the day, there were about 15 kids from the nearby middle school inside goofing around, but the staff took it all in stride. The pizza was great, and the salad had a ton of bacon and great dressing. It's off the beaten track, but the food is good, and the selection is good and the service is good. Hard to ask for more.

I can't comment on service or atmosphere because we ordered through Doordash, but the pizza was really good! Ordered the 18" Supreme. I underestimated the size. It was huge! The pizza has a thinner crust, similar to New York style. It was full of flavor, and the toppings were portioned well. We typically like smaller pepperoni, but the large slices of pepperoni they used were good. Overall, it's really good pizza. We would eat here again.

Absolutely amazing pizza. The choices they have to choose from are amazing. The one we ate had a basil pesto sauce with the red sauce. It was amazing. The crust was so perfect. Not too thick and not too thin! And the chicken wings had such an amazing flavor to them. They put the sauces on the side to ensure the crispy chicken. Customer service was great. Love this pizza and beer joint. They even have wine and a few kombuchas. Pizza is by the (huge) slice or whole. Interesting toppings. Service can be excellent and super friendly, or kinda frosty, depends who you get!

Great pies! Love the new menu addition of Detroit style! Seems like more employees are needed on the busy days, but great peeps on staff, just overwhelmed sometimes. Give em a paid vacation! Needs better ventilation in the back where bands play, like some fans in the upper windows, and open them, or somethin. More bands after lakeview please!

The pizza 🍕 was ok, service was ok, but the Jalapeño poppers was nothing like what it said on the menu. It said bacon "wrapped" jalapeño poppers and they gave us jalapeño poppers with dice bacon 🥓 sprinkled on top. They didn't care when we told them about it, the gal said oh sorry and walked away. Next time me and the family are in town will definitely try out ❄ sno flake drive in few building down thier burgers look delicious 😋.

It's ok. The crust isn't the best, the sauce and toppings were good! Soda machine wasn't working so hard to go down the street to get a drink that wasn't beer. The picnic tables out front have seen better days and should probably be replaced.

Slices are half of the size of what they should be. The new menu is interesting but not really something I would go out of my way for. Three slices and two beers don't cost fifty dollars even in new york city, so that part.

Slice of sierra is the best pizza in Tahoe without a doubt. I would give a 5 star review without a doubt. But they have started having liveusic and it is way too loud. They used to be a great place to play pool but 2 of 3 tables are gone for the stage... Very disappointing for us at least...

And $25 for a medium is pretty expensive to me. I don't know if it's different because it's organic, non GMO and gluten free. Some people may like it, I dunno but I won't be back unfortunately. Kinda like a hipster place with pool tables and beer that happens to make pizza 🍕

Sadly, the food just wasn't good. This felt more like a dive bar with pizza available than a pizza restaurant. The crust was terrible, the sauce was unflavorful, all our toppings kept falling off. For the price, this pizza wasn't worth it. Ended up having to go somewhere else for food.

Im sorry but these prices are absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been a loyal customer for years, but charging $65-70 for a large pizza is absolutely asinine. This used to be a beloved neighborhood hangout, so why are the prices jacked up like it’s a tourist trap? It’s infuriating to see a local spot betray its community by pricing out the very people who keep it alive. Despite it being some of the best pie in the basin, I can’t support a business that’s blatantly gouging its customers. Not to mention, half of the cool and unique pies (the Lassen, in+out, Hawaiian cowboy) they offered they got rid of. No excuses about inflation or costs justify these absurd prices. Save your money and skip this place.

Terrible, greasy pizza. Horrible customer service, they reached out and roasted our choice of toppings and said it was our fault. If you want good pizza and nice employees, go elsewhere.

The audacity to charge $5 per plain cheese slice - even the best slice in NYC isn’t $5… And to be clear if this slice was nearly as good as a dollar slice in NY I would pay a premium for it ($5) Here’s some advice — fix your whack sauce lacks flavor I added every condiment and still didn’t help, fix the cornmeal you use to keep your “undercarriage” for the slice and most importantly fix your price. Best of luck to this place

I ordered food for delivery. After waiting well over the estimated delivery time with no food, I checked the app. It said delivered, which it was not. I called them and they said they could have it delivered in another hour, LOLLL. So, obviously I had to go pick it up. They did not refund my delivery fee + tip. First and LAST time eating there.

The server even confirmed as he was placing my food “garlic fries and Margarita pizza”? I think everyone is loaded. Unlike my fries.

$40+ for a Medium Pizza?! Hard Pass Person on phone also refused to tell me what their pizza sizes were comparable to as “Small to Medium” and would only tell me inches and said we don’t use those other measurements 🤦🏻‍♂️ We decided on a place that wasn’t a rip off and with better service.

Walked in intending to order pizza and meet our friends to play pool. The pool tables were open, there were no signs posted. A worker approached and screamed at us, making a scene in front of everyone for using the table without asking. No professionalism, just hostility. This was by far one of the most absurd and uncomfortable customer interactions I’ve ever experienced. It even got to the point where they tried to follow us outside because we said this is no way to treat customers. Can’t emphasize enough to never go.
