Oh my, the steaks were exquisite and the side dishes were equally good. Our group had too many different dishes to list. Waitstaff was attentive, informative, and prompt. Loved the subdued lighting. Great place for that special dinner.

I’ve found this place to provide the best combination of service, atmosphere and quality in the area. The atmosphere is not too loud like other steak restaurants, the service has been A+, and food has been delicious. I recommend above other steakhouses in the area.

Huge THANKS to Kirby’s and Adrienne who perfectly took care of our dinner event. Usually we go to Kirby’s for my birthday but this year tried another local steakhouse and left saying “ we sure missed Kirby’s”. My wife came home and immediately made a reservation at Kirby’s for a “Do Over” birthday. Was wonderful and I sure enjoyed my delicious Roquefort Filet. We told Adrienne our little story and then they actually treated us like it was my real birthday when they knew it was not the day. What a delightful and unexpected evening. Very cozy steak house, with a beautiful selection of wines. The servers were very friendly, and the food was cooked exactly how I wanted it. I got the wygu steak, and it was the literal definition of melt in your mouth perfection. I would highly recommend this place for a celebration, anniversary, or just a fun night out with friends, but be prepared to spend some money. It will be well worth it though.

We are locals. We come for the atmosphere and the service. Korey, who waits on us there, is very very good and very helpful. My four year old loves him and she is hard to please:) If you go, make sure to ask for him.

Went there for happy hour Friday before Christmas eve. Brenda was our waitress and did a great job. Very attentive, but not pushy. I ordered an Old Fashion and she recommended Kirbys Old Fashion. It was so good I had 2!

Decided to have my wife's birthday dinner at this location. We have eaten numerous times at the WinStar Kirby's. This particular location really stepped up the ambience and the level of service not to mention the exceptional menu selection. This was a good visit!. We celebrated our anniversary at Kirby's and the food and service were excellent. It hasn't been this way every time, but this last time was really positive. My seafood salad was terrific, the mushroom risotto was fabulous. And Hubby enjoyed his meal, as well.

Been twice and both times didn’t disappoint. The salami oh my gosh was such a delight made med rats exactly how I wanted it. Then the steak (filet mignon) also cooked to perfection. But now I came to talk about the yummy mash potatoes & grab dessert (key lime pie) you’ll thank me later.

The Southlake area location is at 114 and Southlake Blvd. We enjoy going for Happy Hour and getting drinks and the same food as rest of dining room. Plus, besides bar specials, it is a great spot to talk with good people. The food was super tasty!

Very reasonably priced for the quality. The steak was perfect, the veggies were yummy and the creme brulee was so decadent I almost melted. Love it and can't wait to come back.

Very nice! I reserved the private room for my parents 50th Anniversary, and it was PERFECT!!! They had a table for their cake and decorations, and a TV for a slideshow. The staff was awesome! Kirbys is one of the first steak houses in Dallas, and they still hold a unique and rustic flair. Their meals are delicious, and the staff is courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable about their menu. If you’re in this part of town I would highly recommend that you stop by and have a meal here. The ribeyes are a perfect blend of meat and fat, creating a sumptuous marbling and a rich flavor throughout. The seasonings are simple allowing the flavor of the meat to shine through. The steaks were perfect temperature and the Seabass was extraordinary. The plating is what you would expect from a high-end restaurant very magnificent presentation of the Seabass, and a simple presentation for the steak. They have two types of mac & cheese on the menu, one being the traditional lobster mac & cheese and the other being a jalapeño mac & cheese. The lobster mac & cheese was absolutely delicious, a rich cheese flavor and perfectly cooked noodles with a balance of a well steamed lobster. The jalapeño mac & cheese is a rich green color reminding me of pesto however the flavor is strong and spicy, allowing you to really capture the heat of the jalapeño while not overpowering the cheese. They have a fantastic Caesar salad which is perfectly dressed throughout and well proportioned. In addition their au gratin potatoes are a fantastic choice for those looking for a starch. And all I would highly recommend are you trying this restaurant.

I don't frequent steak places like this quite often but the place is a gem. Our waiter was on the ball and the staff should be so lucky to have a waiter like this because the amount of knowledge he had about the food was like he made it. I went there with 8 people and the drinks,apps and mains were remarkable. I got the 3 week aged strip steak.

Portion sizes were impressive, and the seasoning was perfect. Even during peak Mother's day traffic, they were able to keep up with the demand. The staff was knowledgeable on the menu and specials. Service was coordinated and dishes spaced well. There were quite a few spaces blocked off for valet, but still plenty of open parking in the back of the parking lot.

We went to Kirby’s for our anniversary. This was such a great experience. From the moment we walked in every staff member greeted us with “Happy Anniversary, thank you for celebrating your evening with us.” The food was exceptional. I had the “Steak and Cake” (5 oz filet and 3 oz crab cake) it was cooked to perfection. My husband had the ribeye. Also cooked to perfection. We were also treated to the house chocolate cake - so good! The entire team at Kirby’s is attentive and extremely friendly. I highly recommend spending your time and money here. I have been to steakhouses all over the world and the US. Nobody makes a Peppered Filet like Kirby's. Locally its way better than Perrys, Bob's, Al Biernat's, Nick & Sam's, Chamberlains. It beats Hawksmoor in London for sure. The steak always comes out the perfect temperature with the perfect seasoning. I get the lamb chop sauce on the side (not on the menu) that is incredible. The sourdough bread tasted like the one you get in San Francisco it is incredible. I have yet to ever have anything that wasn't fabulous. What's crazy is how reasonable the prices are...Wine menu is extensive and the hospitality is second to none. We have been going to Kirby's Southlake for 20 years and its still our favorite. Teddy (manager) is always accommodating. Special requests, private events, special drink etc. For an evening that will not disappoint I urge you to go across the street (from Perrys) in Southlake to Kirbys!

We were looking to sit in the bar area, and the host frequently searched the area for customers leaving in order to seat us. While we were waited, she offered us our cocktail of choice and seamlessly transferred the bill to our bar/dinner table. Once seated at the bar, the staff was attentive and personable. From appetizers to the main course, all was nothing short of delicious. This is definitely a PRIME steakhouse and the experience is worth every penny.

Every inch of food that hit the table taste as imagined or better. We had three servers and each of them served like we were the only people in the place. It was exceptionally nice. This is definitely a place to visit.

Amazing!!!! Kirby’s was able to handle a late request from our LARGE party of 65 after dinner plans at another restaurant fell through. They were ready for us, welcomed us with open arms and had some of the best food we’ve ever had!!

What a fantastic place to have dinner! I took two of my sons on a Friday night and they were busy! I booked a reservation a few hours before we went and got right in and seated. From the appetizers to salads and soups and dinner, everything was great. One son loved the lobster bisque soup, the other enjoyed a bowl of French onion soup. I had a great wedge salad and we all shared a very good beef carpaccio as an appetizer that was fantastic. Two of us got steaks that were cooked perfectly and my youngest son chose the lamb lollipops with mushroom risotto that was great.Richard was our server and he was great, although he was very busy and at times we wouldn't see him for long periods of time. It wasn't an issue, we were not in a hurry and just enjoying a nice dinner. We wrapped up dinner with two deserts. One of my sons ordered creme brule which was very tasty, the other ordered the chocolate spice cake that was an amazing dessert. I will definitely return with my wife and bring friends. Its a great, local spot for dinner.

Would like to preface this review with I eat at steakhouses frequently due to taking clients for dinner and/or drinks and business trips. Kirby’s is a very quaint and non assuming steakhouse. Doesn’t seem super fancy or over the top with eclectic decorations. It is a traditional white table cloth steakhouse. However, the food and service was impeccable. Very reasonably priced and everything my party had was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Typically I’m a tough critic but I can confidently say my groups experience here was a 10/10. Our server, Korey, was polite and wasn’t overbearing with expensive specials or up sales. He was knowledgeable about the menu and had suggestions about pairings when asked. Steaks were cooked perfectly and drinks were strong but smooth. Will definitely be back whenever the opportunity presents itself. Only thing that wasn’t exceptional was the jalapeño bacon mac and cheese. It wasn’t bad or too spicy but it had way too strong of a jalapeño taste and when we let them know our opinion, it was promptly taken care of. Will say all things considered, it’s the best steakhouse in the area and one of the best in DFW. Wonderful experience and a great value compared to any of the other’s in DFW.

This restaurant offered an amazing dining experience. My table ordered the bacon potato soup, 7oz pepper steak, Mac n Cheese, and blueberry crumble cheesecake. The steak definitely ranks in my top 10, and everything else was also of high quality. I was impressed with the generous portion sizes, especially since higher-priced steakhouses often skimp on appetizers and desserts, but that wasn't the case here. Friendly staff as well.

Great classic steakhouse experience. Awesome happy hour specials, including both food and drinks. The tequila lime grilled shrimp and the lamb chops with peppercorn sauce are solid choices. The filet with Roquefort sauce is always a safe choice as long as you enjoy a strong bleu cheese flavor. The jalapeno bacon mac and cheese is the best side dish, in my opinion. It is well balanced and not too spicy. The sourdough bread is great as well!

Went during happy hour, and the happy hour pricing was just perfect. Ordered one of everything on the happy hour menu from drinks to appetizers and the only one that really wasn’t wasn’t worth it was lamb chop lollipops first they were just over cooked, second time they came back the temperature was fine but a bit tasteless. Shrimp cocktail, tequila, shrimp, and fried pickles were fantastic. Service was really good never had to wait on anyone .

We had a reservation at 6:15 PM, 12/07/24. The hostesses were great, very friendly. Server was very good. She was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. I was surprised at the New York strip I had. It was thicker than any New York strip I’ve ever had. It was also tough, hard to cut and chew. I asked for medium and it came closer to medium rare. It is my fault not to tell the server or the General manager when he stopped by our table, I let it go even though it was costly. I ate half of it but shouldn’t have . I hate to make my wife, Son and his wife wait for me to get a different steak. All the other food we had was excellent. I will be back but will speak up if needed.

This was my first time coming to this establishment and I felt very welcomed. From the host greeting me when I came in to the manager who wanted to help me with the bouquet of flowers I had brought for a birthday dinner. The appetizers were amazing even with one error being replaced for another, it was a welcoming one. My entree was amazing in every aspect, the place is obviously known for their amazing steak but do not feel you need to shy away from their seafood. I do appreciate our server being patient with all the requests my table had but I couldn’t get over the fact it was very very drawn out. I got their at 7pm and when we were all done it looked like they were already closing up. Maybe that is something someone wouldn’t mind but it is something someone should be aware of when coming here. Overall experience was exceptional but it was a very long dinner.

Went here with my family to celebrate an early Christmas and my parents anniversary. Usually we absolutely love the experience we have, as it's always intimate and they do really well making it feel like a special occasion. For the first time we did not have this kind of experience. It was very packed, understandably with it being a Saturday night, but it seemed our server had too many tables in her section to truly give anyone the intimate experience you're used to when going to Kirby's. She had at least a 5-6 table section and you could tell she was spread thin. There were a bit of things throughout the dinner that took awhile to get, or our server forgot to get us and we had to ask for again. Our server also seemed to have forgotten to ring in our desserts, as about 15-20 minutes after putting the order in with her she came back to our table and told us the computer seemed to have made those desserts dissappear, so she re-rang them in and they were putting a rush on them. She comped 2 of the 3 desserts, as 2 of them were for my parents and she said she did that for their anniversary. That's the only time she really seemed to bring that up to them and try to make the occasion "special" for them. She left the 3rd dessert on the ticket, which was surprising with how long we were having to wait on those in total (about 30 minutes). Our actual dinner was fantastic, however, 2 of the 3 desserts we got were something just added to the menu today and they were pretty hard to eat (literally). They compared it to a truffle, which I would say was pretty accurate, but it was a bit of a struggle to try to get bites of it with a spoon. Overall, not a good experience, and my parents did not feel like they were celebrating a special event because of it. We're really sad about it, because again, usually our experiences here are wonderful and that's what usually would bring us back! Not sure if they will be coming back to celebrate anymore because of tonight. Yes, the meal was wonderful, but you go here for the meal AND the experience, and tonight was a subpar experience to say the least.

Food and wait staff were great. We did arrive perfectly on time for our reservation, and had to wait 20 minutes before we were seated. Additionally, couples that came in after us were seated before us, which was very disappointing. Bad start to the night.

The lobster risotto was very good. Everything else was okish but dripping with butter. My husbands steak was not near the quality one would expect for the price. The wait staff were lovely, and the best part of our visit.

My wife and I dined here in November of 2022 to celebrate our anniversary. I made a reservation and told them it was our special day. When we arrived, we were greeted with "Happy Anniversary" which was a promising start. We were immediately shown to our table, and drink orders were taken. We selected the Bonanza red wine, which at $40 is a good buy since its $20 at retail. Only paying 2X at a steakhouse isn't bad. I had the ribeye, which was good, but not excellent, and my wife had the Sea Bass, which she said was excellent. Service was good. Not great, but good. After dinner, I expected to be offered a free dessert for our anniversary. We've eaten many anniversary meals out, and a nice restaurant ALWAYS does this, sometimes even with a personal message. IMHO, when you drop this kind of coin, its really not asking that much. Instead, we were offered to buy our own dessert, which we declined. Next time we'll stick to The Capitol Grill or Bob's, which never fail to make us feel special on our day.

First of all, I went to the location at WinStar. They never answer the phone I mean never and then it hangs up on you. So the only way you can make a reservation is online or actually going to the restaurant. I ordered a fillet that was cook the way I ordered it but the outside of the steak was very dry. The waiter asked if I wanted another one, and at first I said no because I was so tired. But then after I thought about -- that steak was $58 and should be cooked correctly for that price. So I asked if i could get another one in place of that one Winnie brought the check. Suddenly, there may be an issue so he hast to ask the manager. The manager and I tell him I want the steak comes out, and I tell him I'd like to have my steak replaced. There was a long Long pause as he looked at the steak which I had hardly eaten. Then he says he can replace it but it's gonna be a really small piece. It takes them forever to bring the new steak out, which was undercooked whether at that point I was so tired I just took it and left. But once I got Home it just dawned on me that the first steak I ordered was not the correct steak at all. It wasn't a fillet it was more like a sirloin. But I was too tired at the time to notice. I felt like it was a waste of money. And I didn't feel like I got the fine dining experience. I've gone to cheaper places and gotten way better service.

I've been going to Kirbys for over 20 years now with my family . The service and the food had always been excellent...but then last night happened and not only was our food not cooked correctly but I was personally berated and spoken down to by not only a manager but by a server who wasn't even serving our table!!! Also pictured below is the cold creme brulee served with one strawberry... When I normally order creme brulee it comes out warm , but when I complained the manager Tommy told me , creme brulee is always served cold. I work in a restaurant and I verified this morning with our kitchen and they said creme brulee is served warm...

We went to Kirbys a few weeks ago. Besides waiting forever for the steak, when it finally comes out, both were raw. It was still mooing. They took it back and reheated it. It was disgusting. We go there and spend a lot on a dinner and they reheat it so it looks cooked. It was still half raw. No apologies for it. Its as if we were annoying them. No more!!
