Excellent food in an aesthetic atmosphere—perfect for a date night or girls night out or cocktails with the guys. We loved the whipped burrata, warm naan & pita, short rib skewers, lamb skewers and the olive oil cake!

"I've been to Luma twice since it opened, and both times were fantastic! This Mediterranean spot at SkyBeach Resort nails it with fresh, flavorful food that feels elevated yet welcoming. The lamb was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender—hands down one of the best I've had. The baba ganoush was smoky, creamy, and full of flavor. Don't skip the fresh pita and those cauliflower bites—they come with this addictive honey mustard sauce that's absolutely to die for. Everything tasted so vibrant and well-balanced. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, super knowledgeable about the menu, and made us feel right at home—like we were regulars even on our first visit. The service was warm and attentive without being over the top. Luma is a gem in St. Pete—great for a date night, catching up with friends, or just enjoying some coastal Mediterranean vibes. Luma is such a gem tucked away at the beautiful SkyBeach Resort! The design and atmosphere was executed perfectly! The food, cocktails, and wine were all so flavorful. The presentation of everything was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. DJ Tommy Tangie and his trumpet made the evening even better! 🎺Shout out to Erika for taking amazing care of us all night 🩵

Absolutely unforgettable. As someone who eats out often and takes food seriously, this was hands down the best dining experience I’ve had in years. Every bite was extraordinary, every cocktail bold, imaginative, and perfectly balanced. From the moment we arrived, valet to final course, the service was flawless and truly world-class. This is the kind of restaurant that raises the bar for all of St. Pete. Already counting the days until I’m back.

Brian, Alex and Allie were exceptional bartenders and incredibly knowledgeable on the food. Luma has an incredible atmosphere that provides an upscale dining experience without being too stuffy. The crudo was so delicious I forgot to take a photo before eating half.

I was honored to be served by Paul tonight for a solo dinner. Very personable person and amazing server. I was also very fortunate to meet some more amazing staff, like Jami, and Sophia. The food was great, but the people were better. I’m already planning for my next visit.

Food was really good! Our server Aidan was anwesome and gave us great recommendations. We ordered the mezze, snapper Milanese, short rib kebab, ceviche, Brussels sprouts, water melon feta and a crème brûlée for dessert. All was excellent but favorites were the seafood, mezze and water melon salad. Crème brûlée was different but very tasty! Will definitely come back again

OMG — Luma was absolutely amazing! The Seriously Good Garlic Hummus truly lives up to its name. We couldn’t stop eating it — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We also had the Golden Cauliflower and the Pappardelle Bolognese, and everything was so fresh and beautifully prepared. The best part? We shared everything, which made it such a fun experience. And when it came to dessert… we couldn’t decide, so we had all three 😂 Zero regrets! Our waitress, Fiona, was incredible — attentive, warm, and made the entire evening even better. We will definitely be back again. And the free valet parking was such a bonus! Highly recommend! 💛

My husband and I went on their official opening night and were so impressed and cannot wait to go back! We sat at the bar and were lucky to have Brian as our server. He was very knowledgeable and gave us great recommendations. Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing and had so much flavor! There are so many options to choose from depending what you are in the mood for. Very happy to see Sky Beach have a nice restaurant finally!

The food was incredible, the service was even better. We ordered way too much food so we could try a little bit of everything and everything we ordered was fantastic. The quality was impeccable- highly recommend the Smokey baba and the short rib kebabs. Our server Paul was very friendly and attentive and the manager, Dave was also fantastic and made sure to stop by every table and check on them and their food and experience. The atmosphere was sophisticated and fun and was exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I live right around the corner and have been longing for a place like this for years! My boyfriend and I came to Luma this past Friday night for apps and drinks, it was wonderful! Our first time up as we are visiting St Pete. Staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Fiona! She reccommended the brussels sprouts which were delicious, we also had the ceviche and grouper tiradito which were equally as good. We got some mocktails as we both dont drink, and they were such a fun addition and matched the vibe of the restaurant. Highly reccomend!

My wife and I love Mediterranean food and were anxious to try this place. Parking is limited, so I recommend using valet and getting a voucher from your server. The atmosphere is great with a view of the water and boats. We chose inside, and they gave us a "relatively" quiet table. The service was decent, but it got worse as it got busier. Dirty plates were not cleared or replaced. Since most plates were family-style and shared, it would have been nice to have spoons so each person could avoid dipping their fork back into the spread. The cold Mezzees were very good, as were the Nann and pita breads. The Lavosh was only a thin cracker, and I would not order that again. The Brussels sprouts and roasted carrots were excellent, as were the meat and fish skewers. The only miss was the shrimp and bucatini, which were too oily. The desserts were good, and the olive oil cake was the clear winner. We will go back.

Jamiiiii thank you so much for catering to our palate needs. I enjoyed exploring new Mediterranean flavors from LUMA’s very well-plated dishes. This was the perfect girls night to celebrate my best-friend’s birthday. We appreciated how hospitable you were while hosting this special night with such a big party, we hope to visit again soon!

Such a great new Mediterranean spot! The patio has a beautiful, relaxing ambiance that makes the whole experience feel special. The food was delicious — especially the shishito peppers and the salmon kabobs. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Tehani was a fantastic server — friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. Even the bathrooms were spotless and well kept. We’ll definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Luma! The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful atmosphere that sets the tone the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming, making us feel truly taken care of throughout the evening. The cocktails were fantastic — highly recommend the Citrus Coast and the Sunstone. We sampled several dishes, and our standouts were the hummus, burrata, ceviche, salmon kebab, pulpo, and lamb — every plate was flavorful and beautifully prepared. Don’t miss this place! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Oh man, where to begin!? So we live walking distance from here and feel so lucky! This place was amazing and our server, Fiona, was knowledgeable and super cool! She laid out the menu in an easy and comprehensive way, making everything sound delicious. The drinks and food are so good and very well priced. I want to meet the ice cream chef and give them the biggest high five. Looking forward to coming back and trying the next flavors! So pumped this place opened!

I was excited to try this new restaurant and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very chill and upscale, and the food was delicious. Our server, Tehani, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food. She recommended the octopus and the short rib kabob. Both were phenomenal. Will definitely be returning to try more!

First impressions very good, from the valet, host stand, food , drinks, service, and atmosphere. My wife and I live not far away and have been wanting a quality place close by for years. We ordered way more food than we needed to but wanted to try various options. The 3 mezzes we got were phenomenal. Highly recommend the smokey baba, sweet & hot peppers, & whipped feta. The beef short ribs were also very good. Paul was very attentive and cordial throughout the night and gave us a great dining experience. We're looking forward to going back and trying new things (hopefully with some warmer weather to sit outside). Great addition to the area and St Pete!

Fiona did an amazing job. The place is great and the food delicious! We had no reservation for 6 but were able to sit in the bar area. Very comfortable and Fiona accomodated us great! Helping with ordering a couple plates at a time to help with the space we had, offering her favorites as suggestions as well! Will be back soon.

Dinner tonight was amazing. The shareable plates were delicious. The hummus and pita, the shrimp and along with other courses including the steak, short rib, and pasta bolognese were great. In addition our server Jami was outstanding. Looking forward to going again in the future. The SkyBeach hotel did a great job the decor and ambiance was perfect as well. If you haven’t tried it then I recommend you go.

We had a great birthday dinner at Luma. Our server Jami was very thorough in her explanations and recommendations from the menu after we told her what we liked and took her time helping us make our decisions. We started with the Mezze Feast appetizer with Pita and Naan breads which was plentiful and a great variety of tasty ingredients. Florida Gulf Ceviche and Black Grouper Tradito were delicious as was my Caesar salad and Butchers Steak dinner. My wife enjoyed her lamb skewers and especially the Crispy Brussel Sprouts side order, which she said was superb. If you like quality Mediterranean food served in tapas style sharing portions do not miss Luma. It is an exceptional new addition to the local restaurant scene!

Food was spectacular! I had salmon kabobs, outstanding. My friends had the short ribs, steak and they loved them. The Mezze feast was delicious. Service was great. Thank you Paul! Bar staff Brian, Alex and Allison took great care of us. I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu!

The overall experience was great. Our server, Danielle, was fantastic. She made wonderful recommendations and made our experience one to remember. It's so nice to have Luma on this side of town. They've really done a nice job with the whole SkyBeach resort, and it's a place I will certainly recommend to all of our out of town guests. Five star experience.

Love the vibe of this new restaurant and entire resort. Everything we tasted was terrific and the attentive service received was exceptional, especially considering the newness. The decor was fab and an interesting blend of upscale but comfortable. We're from Ohio and can't wait to get back in the coming months.

Such a unique venue and the food and service live up to the expectation created by the long wait for it to at last be open. Creative interpretation of mezze and other “Mediterranean” (mainly Italian and Greek) cuisine. Excellent cocktail and wine program too. Attentive, warm and educational service from Jami. The ambience was and the food was delicious! The experience we had with Paul was amazing and we couldn’t ask for a better first time. Awesome experience; our first, but certainly not last, time here. Excellent food and well curated wine list ( try the château sancerre Sauvignon Blanc with the snapper!). Our server, Fiona, was an absolute delight.

Came in for date night earlier this week and was impressed from the moment I walked in. All the staff was so friendly and welcoming and our server Fiona went above and beyond!! She was so attentive and caring and really made us feel welcome. Food was also great!!!! Will definitely be returning and requesting Fiona!

LUMA is a fantastic addition to the south side of St. Pete. I had the pleasure of dining at this new restaurant this evening and absolutely loved it. The short rib was outstanding, and the Sundrift cocktail was the perfect pairing. The atmosphere was both vibey and cozy, creating a great overall experience. Excellent service by Jami made the night even better!

Absolutely incredible meal. We ordered a sampling of small plates, salads, and mains to share between the two of us and everything was superb. Fresh flavors, beautiful plating, and impeccable service by Jami. All of her recommendations were spot on, from the whipped feta and naan, to the rosemary crème brûlée. Service and food are truly outstanding at LUMA. We will most certainly be back! Highly recommend.

The Resort is beautiful and the restaurant was gorgeous. The valet - staff- and restaurant team were all friendly and helpful. The service at Luma was great (Sofia was fantastic and made a great cappuccino at the end of the night that paired perfectly with our creme brulee) The Whipped feta was so good paired with the naan - we asked for a second serving. Looking forward to going back during sunset on the water!

First time and the food was amazing!! So many yummy options, especially for someone who is gluten free like me. Our waitress, Jami, was fantastic and so helpful at suggesting options for our table. Will definitely be back!

I had a very high quality experience at the bar at LUMA , a few weeks ago. we were able to reserve bar seats with ease and even was accommodated when our party was a couple mins late . I was a little hesitant about the menu because i’m not the biggest fan of mediterranean food but wow , my mind has been changed . everything ordered was absolutely delicious. they had pastas that were out of this world . Our bartender Brian , showed me world class service and was such a great addition to the overall great vibe of the night. As we were leaving , the manager asked us about our experience and was also very kind and warm. Luma exceded my expectations and i absolutely cannot wait to bring more friends back ! 5 stars across the board

Luma is a total standout. The food is exceptional, the gambas were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the grouper tiradito was fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced. Everything felt thoughtful and elevated without being pretentious. The atmosphere is upscale yet relaxed, with a great energy throughout the space, and the service was genuinely attentive from start to finish. Bonus points for the Friday DJs! They bring such a vibey, fun soundtrack that really takes the whole experience to another level. Can’t wait to come back.

First time to this restaurant. The hotel vibe is hard to shake but restaurant has nice views. We were with friends and started with drinks at the bar. Recommend not doing this. The bartender was very inconsistent. The martini was half filled. If you know how martini glasses work then you know that’s only 1/3 of the liquid. Ordered three old fashioned drinks. One was 1/3 filled, second was 1/2 and the third was 2/3 filled. Who is making these drinks Mr. Magoo?? Worst bartender on consistency. The food was good but ask about sides as many meals don’t come with any. Overall good experience. Not sure if it’s worth going back to. Especially not for drinks.
