Ten out of ten recommend! My husband and I had been trying to visit Sol Bistro for over a year, and we finally made it. Upon arrival, I learned that our reservation was for outdoor seating, which was disappointing since we really wanted the indoor ambiance. I expressed my concerns to Amy and she was so sweet and assured us she would do her best to accommodate us. Thankfully, we were able to sit indoors, and our experience turned out to be phenomenal. Debbie, the owner, was our server and was fantastic throughout our meal. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. As for the food—wow! As a vegan with celiac disease, I was thrilled to enjoy dishes like French onion soup, onion rings, and bruschetta, which are some of my favorites. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Amy and Debbie, for your outstanding service, and thanks to the entire team at Sol Bistro!

Hands down the food was amazing. It is a quaint restaurant that provides a beautiful and relaxing environment. There is inside and outside seating. The owners focus on healthier and vegan combinations. I ordered the shrimp Alfredo which was made from goat and sheep cheese, it was the most unique and delicious Alfredo I have ever ordered. I also tried their Turkey bolognese which was equally as tasty. It is a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area but every bite is worth it.

Sol bistro was a delightful little hidden gem in St. Pete. Having gone with my friend who is vegan, we were both impressed at vegan options and substitutions. They were very accommodating and asked if we wanted vegan substitutes when available. As a non vegan, I was thoroughly surprised with the garlic bread and mushroom parm-ish, both identical to their dairy laden counterparts. I opted to get the deluxe tasting menu for myself which was four courses. It could really be called five courses because the drink was an excellent course in it of itself! Debbie, our server who is also an owner, put extra ginger in my fermented vodka mule mule and it was perhaps the best, most satisfying mule I have ever drank! Each food course was delightful as well, brought out by the chef himself. Big fan of the sheep’s cheese on the salad. My grass fed and finished steak had plenty of sea salt and had a nice amount of butter drizzled on the plate which perfectly complemented the meal. The flourless, vegan chocolate cake and coconut whipped cream was a perfect ending, rich but not sweet. I loved the coconut cream and could have eaten about four more of the small scoops they gave with our serving- it was just that good- complemented by the fruit (dates and raspberries?) in the chocolate cake. The setting of the restaurant itself was delightful and very intimate, making it a perfect date night spot. Everything from pillows on chairs, to our golden flower shaped mini dessert spoons, to the owners being a very sweet married couple who work the restaurant themselves, amplified the experience. I would highly recommend Sol bistro to anyone, especially those with any dietary restrictions, as they will fully accommodate their guests!

Ate there with our eclectic group of diners. We all enjoyed our meals and rated the restaurant a 9.5 out of 10. My only contention was that it was a bit noisy with a heavy bass music playing but they did lower it. Debbie and Ron, the owners, were nice enough to come out and talk with us for a while. We thoroughly enjoyed it; there is a special fixed menu for two people for $100 with two small glasses of wine included. We will definitely be back. Nov. 2, 2024 My wife and I went to the Dali Museum today and made reservations for 6:45 at Sol Bistro. We were promptly seated outside, and the weather was beautiful. Amy was our server and we ordered the price fixed meal. My wife had the mushroom bruschetta & scallops and I had the sweet potato bisque and the surf and turf, filet and scallops. Everything was delicious, service grea,t and Debbie, the owner, is one of the friendliest around. We'd probably eat there more often if we lived in St. Pete rather than Tampa. But if you visit any of the museums or are just visiting St. Pete, I suggest dinner at Sol Bistro.

Sōl offers a sophisticated atmosphere with beautiful black tablecloths and bronze utensils, creating a lovely ambiance. The indoor and outdoor seating options allow for a versatile dining experience, with heaters available outside for added comfort. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including a wide range of vegan options such as lion's mane. Standout items on the menu include delicious gluten-free garlic bread and a chocolate GF cookie, as well as vegan ice creams. The attentive and caring service from the waitress added to the overall positive experience, with staff consistently ensuring that my water glass was filled. The food here is made with intention and with love, and it shows in all the ways. Thank you for a lovely dinner, Sōl

A dream come true for a gf dairy person! The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating food was wonderful!

By far the best gluten-free restaurant I've ever experienced! We sampled several appetizers and enjoyed the lasagna and ribeye, plus a GF cookie at the end... The fact that they have AMAZING gluten free beers including duppels and trippels is well worth the visit. Will definitely be back. 10/10 food and service was phenomenal!

Attention to detail is unmatched. Wonderful atmosphere and service, even better food. Every ingredient stands out—they’re fresh and locally sourced. Gluten free, Celiac-friendly, soy free, allergy conscious. And SO GOOD. Lots of choices for meat and veggie eaters, and allergy-friendly eaters alike.

Love, Love, Love!!! I took myself out on a date and Sol did not disappoint. What they have created here is divine. The entire experience from start to finish was perfection. The fresh farm to table and gluten free menu with no cow dairy fit my dietary needs. As a country we have lost our nutritional values. Debbie and her husband have created a beautiful environment serving up REAL food that is not only pleasing to the eyes but tastes amazing too. Amy, Patrick, CiCi and Debbie all took the best care of me, making me feel warm and welcomed. I will be back when I visit St. Pete again!

I cannot say enough good things about Sol. As a solo diner with dietary restrictions, I was concerned about feeling uncomfortable in this intimate space, but Debbie, Ron and Patrick were so accommodating and friendly and took excellent care of me. They addressed all my concerns, answered endless questions and checked on me throughout to ensure my satisfaction. They were the perfect gracious hosts. The level of detail to everything presented was impressive. Everything was delicious, fresh and prepared expertly. I wish I had been in the area longer, so I could dine there again. If I’m back in St. Pete’s anytime soon, I will return. In the meantime, I encourage all others to go and have your tastebuds astounded.

Wow wow wow! We were visiting St Pete and found this restaurant. Truly the highlight of our trip. The dining room was so intimate and cozy. The staff was so nice and every single course of food was just incredible. The timing between courses was perfect as well. My partner was able to find Justin Cabernet wine she had been dying to try. Can't recommend Sol enough. Can't wait to come back to see how the menu continues to evolve.

Delicious. Finally, a restaurant that caters to us GF, dairy sensitive, allergic babes and every single dish HITS. As in the Greatest Hits. We brought our friend with us that has no allergies and she loved it. So you can bring your “normie” friends and they won’t know the difference. We loved every dish—the garlic bread, the onion rings, the seabass, and the steak. Amazing. This place is truly a gem and I hope that you read this and say yes to food that is insanely good and good for you. Thank you Sol. We will be back.

What a find! This cozy, boutique restaurant offers top-notch, personal service and best-in-class farm-to-table foods and salads. Be sure to make a reservation, as it is a small dining room and they're regularly sold out.

I think that this will be my best meal of 2025. I have celiacs disease, and an entirely gluten free kitchen is already heaven. The bread alone was probably the best thing I’ve eaten all year.

Absolutely amazing food. Tons of vegan options, everything was high quality and delicious. They can adjust anything on the menu for whatever you may need for your diet.

We had a lovely dinner at Sol St. Pete last night! After exclusively dining al fresco for the past couple of years, we chose to switch it up and enjoy the moody, intimate dining room. Little touches like the single tea candle at every table, twine bow wrapped around the silverware, soft sounds of bossa nova, and gold colored utensils made the small space feel a lot more romantic than we had expected! A welcome surprise. Our waitress, Marissa, doubled as hostess and also served every other indoor table with ease and confidence. There appeared to be only one other waiter to service the patio, but he too seemed to have everything perfectly under control. We were seated the closest to the kitchen and loved hearing the owner and other chef call out how many “nibble boards” (charcuterie) they needed. I made a mental note to include this detail in my review, as they could have just as easily called them “boards”, or something to quicken the pace. But, calling this item by it’s full, adorable name really exemplifies the homey feel of Sol — nothing rushed, just two people cooking together. Now, on to the food! Per Marissa’s suggestion, we split the creamy sweet potato bisque to start. It was absolutely delicious, a worthy adversary to the infamous Rococo lobster bisque, if I do say so myself. Next time we won’t be splitting it. 😉 For our entrees, I chose the Turkey lasagna and my partner went with the spaghetti and 100% grass-fed beef meatballs. Both came with a dinner roll and side salad, a miniature version of their Sol salad. Both were exquisite. Despite the generous portion, we cleaned our plates in less than 10 minutes. I loved my Turkey lasagna because it had ricotta AND goat cheese, neither overpowered the other. While small in size, the side salads were delicious and lightly dressed. The crispy rolls revealed a fluffy cloud once broken. Everything tasted undeniably fresh, wholesome, and prepared with care— not a pool of olive oil in the lasagna or a burnt edge of a meatball to be found. Our experience would have been impressive even if they didn’t open their doors just over a month ago. Service = professional. Prices = fair. Integrity of ingredients = unmatched. Make your reservations now! Sol won’t (and shouldn’t 😀) be a secret for long.

It's a shame that this restaraunt is not one of the top options displayed when you look for organic food in St. Petersburg. Finding grass fed beef, organic and non GMO, and locally sourced options with a PLETHORA of vegan AND celiac friendly options in one restaraunt is a difficult task. Ignore the reviews that complain of slow service - there is a label on the website, and the menu, and the wait staff will explain why their kitchen cooks the way it does, and that it takes time. It is far beyond worth the wait. Our server Cortney was incredible, attentive, informative, and a joy to be around. They have their own personal vegan pastry chef, Veronica (also an absolute joy who loved what she does), who prepares amazing vegan desserts, and we were lucky enough to meet the owner Debbie on the same night. I had several vegan cheeses tonight that were the best vegan cheese I've ever had (and believe me I thought I'd tried them all). Their vegan and vegetarian options are not the normal processed chunks you get on sandwiches and salads at other restaraunts. I also had the Alfredo, and a glass of their Sangria that's imported from Spain itself. I recommend it ALL. I was too full to finish and had to take dessert home..and I'm sure it'll just add to the list of the other items I recommend. For the quality of of you are getting it is very fairly priced to boot. Share it with your health conscious friends..this spot is a gem.

This was our first visit to Sol. The resturant is small and has about 6 tables inside, but does have outdoor seating options. It is nicely decorated and does have a small bar. This is a family owned and run business and the chef, hostess, servers etc...are all very friendly, knowledgeable and very passionate about quality, healthy food. I follow a plant-based/vegan diet but additionally have a lot of food sensitivities. Needless to say it is very hard for me to find a resturant that will accommodate my dietary needs and provide me a special, elegant, composed meal. Sol's philosophy is easily able to do this for carnivores or those that follow a plant-based or vegan diet. The food was excellent! The wine list was very nice and staff happily made suggestions and recommendations of food and wine. It is important to note that this is NOT a fast food resturant. It is designed to provide fresh food to order at a relaxed, slow pace. Dinner takes 2.5 hours or more depending on the number of courses you have. Be sure to take the time to talk to Debbie, the chef/owner about her love of farm to table, local and healthy food/nutrition. It was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend! ❤️

If you're anywhere near the Tampa/St. Pete area, go eat at Sol. Best food I've had in my four years in Tampa. It was exceptional. I am gluten-free so I will say I was specifically looking for a gluten-free restaurant but I think even those without food allergies should eat here. Good, clean food free of seed oils. You can view the menu online before going. If you're a picky eater, stop being one. You're missing out! Try a mushroom steak and some seasonal vegetables. The restaurant has limited seating so I understand why they suggest making a reservation. Ron and Debbie, the owners, were very attentive and kind. Service was well-timed. I really enjoyed it!

Fantastic! My wife Tracey and I went to Sōl last night and I have to say it was absolutely outstanding! My wife does not eat gluten and stays away from refined sugar, and I am lactose intolerant. Neither of us knew that the restaurant would have such an amazing selection of gluten-free and lactose-free items! My wife ate bread last night for the first time in a very long time! And loved it! As an experienced restaurateur with more than 25 years in the business, I was pleasantly surprised with all aspects of this restaurant. The interior design, the lighting, the music/ambience and the highly attentive owners. I was telling my wife last night that we were fortunate to be involved in the very beginning stages of this restaurant because it is definitely going somewhere. We had the beet hummus as an appetizer and I have to be honest, I wasn't expecting much flavor and a grainy texture. However, quite to the contrary, it was very smooth and exploding with flavor! The flatbread points and the purple and orange carrots were perfectly trimmed, amazingly fresh and flavorful! Tracy ordered the beef stew with a sweet potato purée/mash that was insane! There were no fat globules and grizzly pieces anywhere on the plate. I ordered the New York strip and it was perfectly cooked. It came with kale that I expected to be bitter and once again I was pleasantly surprised that this seasoning was so well-crafted it completely eliminated all the bitterness. There was a whipped cauliflower mash under the steak that was so light and so tasty I think my brain melted. I thought to myself it might be nice to try and add a little bit of horseradish to the light fluffy cloud, but that is the only thing that even crossed my mind about a potential way to make it better. The owners/Chef spoke with us, their son took care of us, and we couldn't have been happier. This was the best meal we have had in St. Pete in quite some time. To top everything off, my wife had no gluten reactions and I had no stomach ache after. This restaurant is fantastic and we highly recommend it!

I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open. I made a reservation and went for my birthday. Everything was delicious and the service was great. It’s small inside so I would recommend making a reservation. Beware they have a limited menu. I had the lasagna and my husband had the roasted chicken. For me, being able to eat lasagna out is a treat. It was gluten free and cows milk free. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake for dessert. It was good but not worth the $12 in my opinion. I hope they continue to expand the menu. I’ll definitely be back.

10/10 across the board!!! This is top 5 meals of all time for us. Farm to table and organic ingredients really sends this place to top of our list! Incredible wait staff (Patrick was incredible alongside the owner and her daughter). Must order the French onion soup. Filet was incredible alongside the Lasagna. As a celiac household with other severe allergies, we cannot wait to go back! Thank you again Sol for providing us with a safe place to dine, alongside INCREDIBLE food!

The dining experience was so elevated and divine. From the staff and servers, to the executive chef, to the elevated ambience, to all the intricately crafted dishes that had flexibility for gluten free, soy free, plant based- there was a plethora of options for everyone. This restaurant is a needle in a haystack. You don’t see many chefs go out of there way to accommodate everyone and this restaurant does that. Not just accommodation, but every dish was crafted and cooked to perfection. The halibut for my husband was tender and flaky, not overcooked nor chewy; cooked perfectly. My lions mane steak was so juicy and grilled to perfection, I’ve never had a better lions mane steak like that! Don’t get me started on the desserts- everything was made from scratch, organic, added adaptogens, lattes, kombuchas with adaptogens and lions mane. You don’t see a dessert menu with these intentional longevity ingredients. This restaurant takes healthy fine dining to a whole other level! Executive Chef Debbie is working her but off and is so humble greeting every guest with a smile and taking orders. Abrianna is a delight, talking to every table making sure she gets every order down to a tee and recommending the best items on the menu. We couldn’t have had a better experience here and we need to take our family members!

Sol delivered an unforgettable experience for an intimate birthday celebration. As someone with dietary restrictions around gluten and dairy, I was genuinely impressed by the range of delicious options available—and relieved to leave feeling great afterward. A particularly special touch was being personally welcomed and served by the owner, who offered thoughtful recommendations that led us to some truly standout dishes. The margarita, made with incredibly smooth tequila, set the tone for a memorable evening. Every item we ordered was exceptional—from the mushroom bruschetta and French onion soup to the homemade lasagna. The beet salad was another highlight, especially with the added sea bass, though the portion of fish felt a bit small for the price. If I had one critique, it would be the limited space—there are only about six tables, which made the dining room feel a bit cramped. Still, the atmosphere remained cozy and inviting. Overall, we loved every bite and can't wait to return and explore more of the menu. Sol is a gem.

My husband and I had such a nice dinner at Sol. We hadn’t planned on doing the prix-fixe menu, but it looked too good to pass up and we’re glad we tried it. Everything was fresh, completely gluten-free, and there were plenty of vegan choices too. The portions were just right, this isn’t a place for giant plates, but you don’t need them. I was happily full by the time dessert came. Our waiter was friendly and helpful without being pushy, and sitting outside under the soft lighting made it feel really romantic. Definitely worth a visit if you want a relaxed evening out.

Absolutely amazing! Sol St. Pete Bistro never disappoints. The steak is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Cutting into it is like cutting through butter, and every bite is packed with flavor. The ambience is top notch, warm, and inviting. I’ve been twice now, once for my birthday and recently for my friend’s, and both times were incredible. We sat inside and loved how cozy and intimate the space felt. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in St. Pete!

Sol is hands down our favorite restaurant in St. Pete. Every visit feels personal, with the owners taking care of us and ensuring everything is just right. The service is consistently excellent, and their passion for high-quality, thoughtfully prepared food shines through in every dish. Their vegan options are among the best we’ve had—creative, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The atmosphere is quaint, warm, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed, memorable meal. Pro tip: don’t skip dessert.

We always have such a great time. Last night we celebrated our 15 year anniversary. The food was wonderful. The atmosphere was great! We arrived early and we were seated right away. We love the cozy environment paired with the delicious flavors of all of the food. We had house salads, vegan mushroom bruschetta, vegan mushroom steak, tuna steak, and the Italian orange cake.

Fantastic farm to table with local and transparent sourcing. Don’t expect run of the mill low quality food restaurant pricing, it is a very fair value for the top tier ingredients. Entire menu is thoroughly labeled and informative from dietary restrictions to ingredients used - for someone who likes to vote with your dollar, this is a perfect dining option. No seed oils, refined sugar or gluten at all in this establishment. Unique drink menu also accommodating to intentional lifestyle cuisine. Staff is very attentive and informed. The ambiance is great for date night or gathering where conversation is desired as the setting is comfortable and calm background music to allow for easy conversing. Definitely try and make a reservation on weekends as Saturday night is guaranteed to be fully sat as it’s an intimate space. We’re new to the area and will for sure be making this a regular spot in our dining out rotation! Thank you for providing a clean culinary experience, a rarity and genuinely appreciated!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The restaurant is small and they have limited seating indoors so we had to sit outside. It was raining to start but stopped and turned into a very pleasant evening. The prefix meals a great option if you want to try multiple items. The mushroom mistake was quite good sweet potato gnocchi was also really delicious. The desserts are really decadent if you are in the mood and homemade. The portions are small and it is expensive but it’s good quality food.

Sol Bistro is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed like family. As vegetarians, it can be tough to find a dining experience that feels truly special, but Sol Bistro exceeded all expectations. The love and passion in the food were undeniable, and every dish in the 4-course Prix Fixe meal was a masterpiece—nourishing, satisfying, yet light and perfectly balanced. 👌 The service was outstanding, and Patrick made the evening even more memorable with his warm personality and enthusiasm. The drink selection was creative and fun, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're vegetarian or not, this place has something for everyone. We left feeling so fulfilled—both in body and spirit. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on every level, and we’re more than happy to make the drive from Sarasota to enjoy this incredible spot again and again! It is now one of our new faves! Highly recommend 🙌😋

I absolutely loved my experience at Sol Bistro! I say experience because it really was! As a Registered Dietitian I can really appreciate the expertise this restaurant has with food allergies and sensitivities.I honestly have never been to a restaurant that really specializes in this area. I enjoyed learning about the culinary and ingredients aspects of each dish as they truly are one of a kind. A great date night spot or even a great dinner spot w the girls! The ambiance is so cute, never missing a detail- from the wine glasses to the silverware, everything has been considered to all come together for this amazing experience. I will be back and looking forward to it!!!

I cannot express enough how amazing this experience was. First, our server, Patrick, was outstanding, he was incredibly knowledgeable about both wine and food, which elevated our entire evening. Second, the ambience was intimate and inviting, something that’s become increasingly rare in the “new” St. Pete dining scene. And the food… oh my god. This place clearly isn’t just about turning a profit, there’s true passion behind every dish. We've been burned by so many of the trendy, short-lived spots that pop up and fade away, but this was something else entirely. The menu is small, but every single item we tried was better than anything we've had in a very long time. You're genuinely doing yourself a disservice if you don't try this place. It's a rare gem.

As someone adjusting to a gluten free diet, I was thrilled to try Sol. The staff is fantastic and goes above & beyond. We enjoyed some tasty sangrias and mussels for an appetizer. The lasagna was out of this world amazing. Probably better than some gluten versions. The brown butter sea bass was also delicious! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday dinner last night and it was stellar. There is outdoor seating w/ shade, though we opted for reservation indoors. It’s an intimate, chill vibe w/ friendly staff. Our server was the co-owner, which is refreshing to see as she gets it and wants to ensure you have the best experience. She heard me say I couldn’t read the menu as I forgot my readers and she quickly gave me a pair to borrow. Anyway, on to the food, we opted for al la Carte dishes and man they did not disappoint. The mushroom bruschetta was light, earthy w/ a burst of tomato. Next up, a umami filled French onion soup which was delicious. A small, local green salad is served w/ entrees which had a vibrant balsamic vinegar dressing. I enjoyed the grass fed, tender filet mignon w/ an added goat cheese crust..wow! And my husband ordered the grass fed, bistro burger loaded with/ mushroom “bacon”, goat cheddar, onion jam served w/ sunion rings. Lastly we shared the warm, made to order chocolate chip cookie w/ a coconut whipped cream. The entire experience was phenomenal, I highly recommend and honestly can’t wait to go again. To note: this entire restaurant is gluten free, low sugar wines, farm to table so the menu changes w/ the season and plenty of vegan options.

So thrilled to have found this restaurant! We went due to their description of being a "farm-to-table, dedicated gluten-free bistro free from common allergens" but found the food to be just plain delicious for anyone. We opted to get the Four Course Prix Fixe option to try as many items as possible and sampled the Creamy Sweet Potato Bisque, Caramelized French Onion Soup, Bread Bowl, Lions Mane Mushroom Parmish, Baked Pasta, Crave Carrot Cake and Salted Caramel Pecan Cheesecake. Everything was truly a treat for us, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything and felt good knowing that we were eating within our dietary restrictions. Everything on the menu was labeled, and the staff is super knowledgeable and helpful in making choices. There truly are options for anyone at this restaurant. Make sure you make reservations, though, as they have a small dining area.

I was a little worried that it seemed crowded inside but it really didnt feel claustrophobic at all. The service was spectacular, we had, i believe the owner as our server, so no surprise there! The main star though was absolutely the food. Every bite felt like heaven and i dont say that lightly. Even the mocktail I got was delicious, as well as the vegan carbonara and orange italian cake. I love how many plant based options they had for me while still accomodating my boyfriend and best friend who are both meat eaters. It also ended up being way less than i was expecting. Dont get me wrong, it was by no means a cheap meal but it felt appropriately priced for the quality. Overall, i highly reccommend this place for any special occasion, especially if you have dietary issues!

This place can make everyone at the table happy; they have fully plant-based options, vegetarian, sea food, and filet mignon -- not to mention all the allergies they can accommodate. The food was tasty, the service was friendly, and the fermented drinks were interesting.

This place was AMAZING! Deb is the owner and she is Killin it! (I love to see a fellow Girlboss doing her thing and serving up her passion for this amazing city) My boyfriend who had recently experienced a night out for dinner at Sol and loved it, took me out for date night. From beginning to end we were made to feel special. It felt like the employees were excited to serve us! The ambiance was so cozy and intimate. The service was amazing. The food was to die for.. and we tried it all! We order 3 entrees and two apps.. even the fresh iced tea and cappuccino was superb! Thank you Deb for creating a place for quality and delicious food that has integrity!

Sol-St Pete is truly a hidden gem. I enjoyed a beautiful four-course meal that began with an outstanding French soup, followed by a fresh, perfectly balanced salad. The salmon entrée was cooked just right—tender, flavorful, and clearly prepared with great care. I finished with a delicious chocolate dessert that was the perfect ending to the evening. Although this is a small family-run restaurant, the ambiance feels like a charming spot in Paris. The quality, presentation, and service are all absolutely top-notch. A wonderful dining experience that I would highly recommend.

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon, and oh my gosh. It was amazing!! My husband has MANY food allergies that often restrict us from eating out. We were able to eat here without fear of cross contamination or accidental exposure to an allergen due to many servers not knowing ingredients in the dishes. Our server was so sweet and was very knowledgeable on the menu; she was comfortable discussing all of my husbands allergens with the chef/owner. Both of our dishes were out of this world - filled with so much flavor. It is often believed that allergy free foods aren’t delicious but the owner has created a flavor bomb in this tiny quaint place. The dining room is a very intimate setting, perfect for a date night! The owners both talked to us prior to leaving and they were the sweetest individuals. You can tell both of them put their heart and soul into the menu and the dishes they serve to their customers. If ever in St. Pete, you NEED to check this restaurant out!

Sol is a great little spot. We tried the mushroom bruschetta, premium surf and turf and Chilean sea bass. The service was great and extremely friendly. There menu seems to change seasonally, so definitely a place I’d consider coming again to try something different.

Food portions are super small I got the lasagna it was the size for a kid and overall everything is very pricey. You get the live music from next door if sitting outside which can not be the best. I would come back for an inside meal. However, they charge if you have a party of six if someone doesn't show up. Super off putting and will not have any events here. It was not hard for them to remove a chair there was plenty of open seats outside. The feedback from my party of 5 was that it was overpriced for what they got. I would go back with a small group and give it another shot.

The decor and ambiance are outstanding. Very quaint, comfortable and hip. The food is also very good. The french onion soup is the best I’ve ever had, and the gouda burger ranks right there with the burger gods. Exceptional. I had the gnocchi which was what you’d expect at the price point. Solid, but not the other’s level. I would have given a 5 star but we hardly saw the staff. Took us over 15 minutes to get a drink yet the rushed us and the food out the door. I wanted a glass of wine with the main course but the server never came back after the initial food order. I’m a slow eater so thats says something. We’ll give it another try as we’d liked everything but the lack of attentiveness from the wait staff

I had dinner on a special occasion! Food quality is great & the chef is talented in having a good menu selection. Giving it a three stars because the place is super noisy due to the fact that it’s too small, with back ground music & tables too close you can’t hear anything. Also it’s too dark. Ordered a Ribeye steak medium. It was Good quality 16 OZ steak, but the texture came very charred on the bottom side which was overwhelming the taste. As if it was cooked in a rush. Not sure if l will come back! PS: staff were super nice & friendly!

Thought it would be better. Here's why: Small portions, high prices, average taste, mid interior, entitlement of a michelin star. As a holistic nutritionist myself, food here is regular homemade stuff, nothing fancy. Got Thai Pumpkin Curry w Seafood - barely any pumpkin, average zuccini, good amount of seafood (lots of shells tho). Artisan bread w butter were prety good. Lasagna was... okay. Very small plate. If you're a man, you'll need 2 to get full. That's $80+ if anyone minds. The menu is small, wouldn't have a problem there since they cook it and dont reheat Sysco, but! They were out of 2 major meals on the menu that day so we had to get stuff that we didn't want. If you have seafood allergy like I was – your menu shrinks to basically 3dishes. Interior: small, dark, not loud which I loved, but looks cheap: very basic tables and chairs, some pillows, things hanging on the wall that look like Tjmaxx thrifts. Waiters: great service from Debbie, I think, no complaints. Wine: great, loved it. If you plan to come here for the holistic reasons – I dont recommend, you will eat overpriced meals that you could've made at home.
