Almost always a line. The staff functions as a well oiled machine. If something isn't right, tell them but tell them quickly and succinctly because they have no time to waste. Use the app to order ahead if you can

I came to visit a friend at Stanford and we wanted to get coffee. I thought "oh Starbucks will probably be really busy since its right on campus", but the line moved quickly. Normally the baristas at starbucks just take your order and move on but we were greeted by Nech who was extremely friendly and made some good recommendations. He suggested the pistachio latte and it was awesome. I also got a sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was fine, the bread was a little dry but not too many complaints. The baristas there were all really friendly and making sure we were all taken care of. Will definitely come back next time I'm at Stanford.

Even during the busy Saturday morning rush with a line of customers, the staff kindly took great care of our order for two travelers of coffee. We truly appreciated the friendly and thoughtful service.

Starbucks has good AND inexpensive ☕ if you bring a mug! It's $0.50 for refill ☕ at the Stanford University Starbucks if you bring your own mug AND the customers and staff are exceptionally charming! Get here early though! The trail from Los Altos to Stanford University through the back of Gunn High School is exceptionally therapeutic and the Starbucks ☕ at Stanford University definitely tastes better than other Starbucks, and everyone so far is AWESOME! I normally avoid Starbucks but the Stanford University Starbucks is on par with the Narita Airport Starbucks in my opinion for service and charm. ☕☕☕☕☕☕❤️

As is the case with most (99.9999%) Starbucks, they don't know how to steam milk properly. Ordered a latte and got espresso with scalded milk. It shouldn't be so hot that it burns your hand when you grab the cup. But here I am, holding a paper cup containing the energy of Reactor #4 at Chernobyl. I'm afraid to just leave this in the trash. I feel like I should be constructing a lead and concrete sarcophagus around it before I leave. And this place smells like a combination of Simple Green cleaner, vomit, and stale beer.

Arrived over an hour before closing and stood there while employees stared at me and kept pre closing. No one took my order for a while and I was the only person in line. Continued to look at me crazy like I was doing something wrong. Had me repeat my order twice (slowly) and still got it wrong.

Staff is incredibly micro aggressive and passive aggressive. They avoid doing their work.

Terrible Starbucks, possibly the worst one I have ever been too. It is dirty, crowded, and I waited 15 minutes for a iced tea that wasn't even filled up all the way by the lazy employees. I recommend the Peets on Stanford campus instead.
