Game we're good one game didn't work

Great place for families to go for dinner. The kids can go play while you're waiting for your food and not drive their parents nuts. The food is really good. We just had our son's 9th birthday party here and it was great. For the price the kids get good food and a fair amount of games to play. The best part is they all earn points and leave with a prize from the store. Well worth the money. This year we had a great server, last year not so much, which took a lot off of me.

I love coming here .. reminds me of my Childhood.. My Favorite Game is Pacman.. in the 80's.. Gulf City Mall Trinidad. Now I get to play the same games with my 21 year old

Love the concept! Went with my daughter we had the time of our lives! So much fun games to play, and staff was amazing. We did have to wait a little for the VR, but that did not effect the our overall experience! With pleasure will come back!

It's great for kids and sports fan. Very loud because of all the video games. Quieter near the bar. Food is good depending on what you order. Burgers and nachos were yummy. If you don't like the food there the staten island mall food court has many options.

I give this place 10/10 our services was Thor he was amazing he give us a good service and he come to us every 7 minutes to ask if everything was okay and if we need anything else with services like this is can make people to come more often here 😊😊😊

Always fun coming here with friends and loading up on some arcade games, though after a few hours the games get kind of repetitive. It's never too crowded here which is nice.

Nice place conveniently located in the staten island mall. It can be access from outside the parking lot or through the 2nd floor food court. Clean and nice decor. Staff should be more attentive. My kids came here for a birthday party and we got one staff to assist us. No utensils and no napkins. Had to ask for it. But overall I would come back. Maybe a future birthday party but expect to be hands on. Ticket games are a bit pricey, I would stick to the all you can play deal. Most of the games are catered to older kids, my 3 year old had no games to play.

Great place love it But why did you get rid of these deserts actually the thing is I have never had the big daddy cake and never knew you had it on the menu found the pic on your google never even knew what it was but anyway it looks really good and the brownie cookie sundae tower was phenomenal how come you don’t have it anymore? What happened to these deserts You gotta bring those desserts back or at least tell me why you don’t have them anymore.

Super happy to see them open again and appreciate all the efforts to be Covid compliant. Staff is very nice and professional there are some new games like Star Wars Virtual Reality. Like always, boys had a great time there!

Fun times!! Haven't been to this in many years and on a whim, decided to check it out. Conveniently located in the mall. Didn't try the food or drinks this time. But will be back, especially since we won some tickets (that are automatically loaded on your card) and we can use those for prizes, as I understand.

From the moment we walked into Dave & Buster’s, it was clear we were in for a great time. The atmosphere is electric—bright lights, energetic music, and a buzzing crowd full of excitement. Whether you're a kid at heart or just looking for a fun night out, this place delivers big-time. On top of that, the games always surprise you with their Hollywood movie themed games and cool prizes. Though the ticket prices can be a bit outrageous.

Shout out to AMY. She is the only positive about my experience at Dave and Busters. Bartender had an attitude. My mans was chokin’ on balls in his brownie. My home girl’s Long Island took a half hour to come, and they weren’t even gonna show the St. Johns game. Amy saved the day. Give her a raise.

Amazing food and service. Bartenders did not know how to make a virgin pina colada after getting shaved ice and then watered down versions 4 times I just had a coke. But the supervisor was awesome.

An upgrade from the one in Manhattan. It's very spacious, lots and lots of game to lose yourself in great place for the kids and the kids at heart. Beautifully decorated, bar area have lots of big tvs to enjoy the game while eating chicken wings, drinking your beer or whatever tickle your fancy. You can also have your kids party there, or do the eat play option. Staffs are friendly, menu looks good but, you just don't know what's coming out when you order. My son and his friends had a great time there. The only negative thing I would say is when I went to use the restroom, there was no toilet tissue in my stall so I had to ask the lady next door for some👀👀👀, yes! I was embarrassed but, sh..t happens! Thank you lady, whoever you were😃😃. Other than that, it's a nice place to hang out, relax and take a load of. See you soon D&B's

Dave & Buster's Staten Island is awesome—perfect mix of food, drinks, and non-stop fun! Got the classic wings (crispy with great sauce options), Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, and a burger—food was tasty, hot, and satisfying for arcade eats. Service was friendly and quick (server kept our Power Cards loaded and drinks coming). Atmosphere is electric: tons of games, huge TVs for sports, lively energy without being overwhelming—great for groups, dates, or family nights. Spent about $40-60 per person including games. Highly recommend—total blast!

Go to place after school and during the weekends. Kids stays here for long time. They have all sorts of arcades, skill games, video games- all gain points to exchange for items afterwards. They have a bar and they hosts parties. The servers are polite and we have not experienced delays with our orders. We dine-in or order to-go in person, or order online for delivery. By the way, the bathrooms in this place is clean.

Dave & Buster’s at Staten Island Mall is a blast for all ages! We came for the arcade and ended up joining their Tuesday night trivia — free to play, super fun, and great prizes for the top teams. What really made the night was Eddie (or Ed) — possibly a manager or host — who checked on us several times, knew the menu well, and was just a great guy. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests having a great time. The location is super convenient with easy parking, and they always seem to have deals that are easy on the wallet. Great vibes, great service — we’ll definitely be back!

I had dine in here many times and food has been good and consistent. I’m pretty sure a lot of people may think that D&B restaurant is just one of those chain restaurants, so don’t put any expectation. My sisters family would come to play, but not to eat. They would rather choose somewhere else to eat for dine in experience. I proved them wrong by inviting them to dinner here. They were very surprised at how the food came out and we all enjoyed the food so much. We all think that it is much better than red lobster, Applebee’s, any compatible chain restaurants. Service is good, burgers here is great, pretzels dogs with that dipping sauce is a must have. I love my steak salad bowl, kids love all those chicken strips, fries and appetizers. Great time for family gatherings while the kids can go play and the adults can relax and chill at the table.

This place was in the mall and I passed by it so many times. My mother told me I should look inside and see what's in there and when I went to the mall with a group, they told me what place I can go. So I went to Dave & Buster's that's close to all the eating places in the dining area. First time I went in there I was surprised by what they have. It had arcade games many arcade games you could also eat there and have food delivered to you. I don't know if it's possible but you could do delivery from here to your house. They also have a prize corner if you play the game with a certain card and win tickets.🏆 I rode on one of the arcade games that has a built-in motorcycle and I enjoyed my time there.☺️ Took some pictures here and it's a great place to enjoy myself so next time if I want to have a great time friends and family I would recommend going to this place. And don't forget to eat, drink 🍷🍻, play and watch.👍👍😃

Anytime I go to Dave and busters the food is good. The service if you are sitting at the bar is bad especially on the days the game is on. They should have more bartenders behind the bar when it is busy like that. The drinks are good, just not the drinks they make for happy hour. Way to sweet. The atmosphere is a cool vibe

I believe it was my first time at D&B. Kids had fun at the arcades. Drinks at the bar were good. Food... well, food wasn't "fine" as stated on the mural by the entrance. I did like chicken wings, but mostly the menu consisted of things that are non-healthy (exception is Caesar salad). Thats why 3 stars for food and 4 stars overall.

Dave & Buster’s offers a fun experience, especially if you’re looking for a place to hang out and play games. The arcade is always a blast, with a wide variety of games to choose from, and it's great for people of all ages. I’ve spent hours here with friends and family, and the atmosphere is always lively and enjoyable. However, when it comes to the food, that’s where Dave & Buster’s falls short. Unfortunately, the food is just not up to par. The quality doesn’t match the fun atmosphere, and many of the dishes I’ve tried have been lackluster, to say the least. It feels more like standard bar food that’s overpriced and lacking in flavor. Additionally, I’ve noticed that a lot of the machines aren’t always in the best working condition. Some are broken, and it can be frustrating when you’re excited to play a game, only to find that it’s out of order. While the experience can still be fun, it’s a bit disappointing when you’re paying for entertainment and some of the games aren’t functioning properly. Despite these issues, I still enjoy the overall experience at Dave & Buster’s, and I’ll keep coming back for the arcade fun. If they could improve the food quality and keep the machines in better shape, it would definitely earn a 5-star review from me.

So much attractions for the kids, not crowded on a weekend. Food was not that good, very salty. The pasta and burger bun were very hard. The staff was very professional and kind. However, they should check on their customers more often before they can complain

This location is really big and nicely spread out so it doesn’t feel overcrowded. The food was mediocre but it could be because it was late. Our cheese on the nachos was like ice cold. But our server was really nice and she fixed it immediately and made it right for us. The pizzas were really good though. It was my daughters birthday and our waitress was sure to be on top of everything and really provide 5 star service. She even sang happy birthday and brought out a candle for her desert. Its always fun to be a big kid Judgement free! I didn't come across any broken or out of order machines which is a huge plus! We did a VR experience and regretted it because we all got motion sickness, so heads up it's not for the weak. I wish they had an intensity rating on it. We didn't get to try the food and we didn't really see any staff beyond the front desk.

Ok. So first of all. Set up at the front desk was easy. The employees set is up with all the wrist bands and power cards with no problems. The greeters at the podium were ok at first. They took out number to text us when our table was ready. The text was sent and within 2 minutes my wife went up to the podium. They said to wait for the second text cause the table wasn't ready. That wasn't the issue at all. They gave our table away, we were a party of ten. So about an hour had passed before we got our table. Not one waitress approached our table to take drink orders. It was about 15 20 minutes, so we got up to leave. One of our girls was still playing a game, which the games were all fun. So in the mean time my wife spoke to a manager and he took care of us. We got back to our table and received free game cards and 3 of our appetizers were free. So all in all the experience was good. The food was great and the price was decent.

The chicken avocado is good a little salty for me. But it was good. Good staff. The manager even took off a meal price due to me have to wait long then everyone else in my party for my plate. Though that was cool of him. Well be back

Fun time as usual. The party was very well organized and maintained by the staff, the kids had fun in the arcade, especially with the new marvel contest of champions game that gave them collectable character cards that can be used to play in the game. The drinks were good, and for a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't extremely packed. Good overall experience.

Its great there but if u stay for more over a hour it can become less fun to be at because while theres a lot of games u can get through most of them within a hour but they have great food great service and u can watch sports on the tv to while u eat

It's a nice place with plenty of games for kids to enjoy themselves plus a bar and restaurant for an adult to relax while the kids are playing or to eat with the family. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and a few stalls were filthy. Everything else was fine.

Always a fun time here. Staff is great and helpful every time we are there.

My usual D&B is at Times Square but that may be changing. This one is less crowded and cleaner. But both are still pricey for the games. Still fun times and the app will sometimes offer discounts. The bar and restaurant area was set up nicely with huge screens. Great place to catch the game and play games.

Please read this carefully,,,, I went here today (Sunday) with my friends around 8 PM because they were having the $10 for 10 wings and $5 margaritas special during football games. so we asked our server (Jose) about ordering the deal. He told us it didn’t start until 9 PM, We ask him 3 times to make sure which was confusing. We double-checked with another staff member at the bar, and they confirmed that since the game was on, we could order the special right away. When we told them who our server was, they spoke with him, but instead of apologizing, he came back with a bad attitude when bringing our food. That part really left a bad impression — staff should be better trained on the menu and promotions, and at the very least, offer an apology when mistakes happen. They give us another server we got, Thor, was amazing! He took over with a great attitude, and his service was 10/10. Overall, I give the place a 5/10 because of the poor service from our first server, but thanks to Thor for turning the night around.

Update 2: they returned the time out between games to 30 seconds . Update 1: removing 2 stars due to unannounced platinum summer pass change to 45 seconds between games instead of 30. It may not seem like a lot, but the additional time has frustrated my child and significantly decreased the fun and experience.

A great place for some fun arcade games and a good time! Every Wednesday, they offer half-price games, which is an amazing deal. While their food is just okay, the food court outside is a great alternative. Highly recommend for some budget-friendly entertainment! P.S- Parking is super easy here too! Second floor of the free parking garage puts your on the same floor as D&B.

It’s arcade/bar food, review wise they get straight C’s across the board. Not bad food by any means, but certainly not great. People are coming here mainly for the games though.

I get it - it's Dave and busters - it's supposed to be loud. But when they allow MULTIPLE daycare camps to swarm the place - it's a bad idea. We went later in the day for games and dinner for my kids. After taking our order - no one ever came back except to deliver the food. They made the kids food first and my wife and mine came out 10 minutes later.... I had to walk around to find a girl to ask where our food was. She told me it's their policy to serve kids food first.... Who decide that it was a good idea to stagger kids food and adults food? What a completely dumb idea. And these camps of animal kids - absolutely no one was managing them. We had waves upon waves of animals sprinting through the table eating area screaming at the top of their animal lungs..

Had a chicken ceasar salad and Asian wonton nachos. The nachos were WAAAAAY too salty. Service at the bar was baaaaaaad. I went on a Saturday night, but that's no excuse to wait 20+ minutes for a beer or your tab while 4 employees chat in the corner. Decent selection of arcade games. Oddly they had gambling games aimed at children.

The food could be better and their cleanliness can be better. The menus are sticky and the games could use a cleaning. Not as bad as others though. The staff is friendly.

Me and my family come here often for a simple night out and I have to say this place is seriously letting go. Half of the games don’t work to where your losing credits because of malfunctions that aren’t your fault, the bathroom is atrocious, I don’t know how people can go in there and just leave toilet paper in the toilet to clog it, I was there for 3 hours tonight and both time I went into the bathroom it was in the same condition as it was before. One of the sinks was out of order and the one that was working didn’t have any soap or paper towels available to the point we had to go to the sink that wasn’t working for either or. The stalls had no toilet paper in them and the last stall I used the toilet seat wasn’t on correctly. The bar staff is amazing though always a pleasure to see them when I visit, but the place needs a very good deep cleaning. It’s a great place if all the games we’re working correctly. Also too many young kids unsupervised in there I understand during the day but at night when mostly adults who are drinking are in there , kids shouldn’t be allowed, I miss when past a certain time anyone under the age of 21 was asked to leave.

It’s very fun to run around and play multiple games with friends, only bad thing is you waste your tokens quick and you don’t rack up enough points to get the good prizes at most you might get candy but that’s it, you’d have to spend more than 100$ and at that point it’s better to just buy the expensive product rather than get it through Dave and busters

Being here at least 5 times in the past 3 years, always have some machine out of order, no one assists me in refunding me loss credit from broken arcade machines. Food was ok. I mean no one come here just for the food. This place could be improved, last visit winter, 2024.

Food was super salty and not fresh. The service takes forever to get someone to get a drink at the bar!! The games that are multi players always had a problem with one of the players. We are usually here with myself and my 3 boys always one player broken on car games especially and always problems with air hockey!! ..

The waitress was friendly but she seemed really busy, found this in my burger. Didn't complain, still left a 20% tip, it's probably not the waitress's fault. But I still had a piece of plastic in my burger. Most games seem pretty well maintain, only ONE machines in the corner charged me twice and didn't end up working.

Waitress was nice. Getting seated made no sense. People at front only sell game cards. Told go to a white host stand, if nobody is there go to the bar. Nobody was at either. What was the deal with that.

Came here for the grand opening of the Staten Island location and I’m a bit disappointed with how they performed. This D&B is part of a complete remodel for the SI Mall. Staff are very friendly and courteous. Very very crowded and different groups can be pleased here—restaurant section if you only wish to eat, gaming area for all ages even adults and a bar & grill area for drinks and watching sports events. While sitting at the bar, Grace was very polite and knowledgeable on the drinks. However when we sat at a table to eat, it went downhill from there. Our server Jevon was nothing but exceptional, but the wait times for drinks and food to come out was almost an hour and we also witnessed multiple runners who brought the wrong orders to wrong tables. And when you needed a servers attention, it was near impossible. Granted this location was only open for two days when we came here, everything in the kitchen should’ve been perfected. That’s why there’s soft openings, proper training & practice runs. 3 stars only because like I said, staff were very polite and nice.

Plenty of parking, not to crowded for a Saturday night. Tables was set and already clean, managers was friendly they walked around making sure everyone was okay. Nice selection of games, I did noticed a few machines were being worked on. The food was okay, our server (name start with a J) seem unhappy, burger looked like grounded meat instead of pounded patty, boneless chicken was decent, the fries was the best tasting on the plate and who ever is bartending uhhh drinks were full of ice and weak. Nice visit especially if you are shopping in the mall but I won’t visit again. D&B In Long Island is way much better.

Game: usually standard arcade games. Found 2 games that were definitely rigged. First, skee ball : got 100 twice and score didn't go up, also tried playing different machines, still the same thing. Second, Quik drop: got 40+ balls in the bucket, supposed to receive 40 tickets but only got 10 tickets. Called the staff over, they didn't do much about it besides give us free game passes. The machines remain available. Food: the food was decent. Services were nice and kept checking on us periodically. Alcohol doesn't have a listed price. Got tower drink, more juice than alcohol.

I former stand this place and cringe when my kids separatelyask me to go here. Please explain in 2025 how you can't pay for the human crane with a power card purchased at a kiosk, you can't purchase credits at a kiosk, you can't pay with credit card, you can only go into the store to pay for it separately. An incredibly annoying, unnecessary, foolish waste of (former) customer time.

Visited this location for the 50% off food promotion and the service was very slow. There were many workers walking around chatting while my food was served cold and incorrect. The waiter argued with me about the food the food that she served me. At the end of my dining room experience they tried to say I was not register with their rewards program where I can redeem them promotion although their site says all I have to do is be a rewards member. The manager even said other patrons have experienced this issue. I will not be eating at this location ever again. Please provide better service

Second time in a month and a half and service sucks. When you order a BBQ chicken flatbread and get a double pepperoni flatbread, who’s wrong, the people that cook the food or the person that took the order and brought it to the table without checking if the order was right. Mind you it took 40 minutes to get the food, and the French fries overly salted could not eat it. Other tables they bring your receipt to you, no we have to go hunting down the person so we don’t have to wait 30 minutes for the guy to pass by to ask for it. But my Granddaughter loves it there for the games, I think next time will just be games and then the food court to eat, much better service and you know you’ll get the correct food you ordered. Spending $50 for lunch in there sometimes is not worth it, hoping the order is correct because of people that do not know how to read an order

If you’re coming here to eat, just stick to the burgers. The customer service needs improvement. Atmosphere was nice, the games are very fun, although some of them were out of order or glitchy. the employees are friendly. The bathrooms could also use improvement. Some of the stalls in the woman’s bathroom didn’t have toilet paper or hooks on the doors, some of the doors couldn’t even close, and one of the toilet seats was loose. And on one side the sink faucets were ice cold, my hands got freeze burns. Overall, I had fun.

I just had the worst customer service experience ever with a manager named "Art". We had a cheap piece of garbage redemption prize (LED Lamp) that was broken and didn't work. We asked Art for a replacement and we got the "I can't help you if you don't have your receipt" nonsense. This was a Dave and Busters branded product IN ITS BOX and looked brand new (because it was). To be given the run around and have an argument over something that cost Dave and Busters probably $2.85 is a horrible business practice. Why on earth would I want to go back after this experience? When a 10 year old kid comes up to you and tells you their cheap plastic redemption prize doesn't work, the correct customer service answer should easily be "Oh. I'm sorry. That stinks. Let's go grab you another one!" What a joke.

The arcade is great for the kids but the food and more importantly, the service is less than desirable. Never received a drink even tho waitress said she would be back with it three times. Good was undercooked but we could t complain about it because the waitress seemed to disappear and not come back

The new Staten Island location is disappointing. Games and ambiance is very nice. Food service is terrible, 4pm on a Monday, seated at a dirty table, takes 10 minutes to get a server, then 10 mins for them to arrive, then over a half hour to get the food. Only ordered sliders, wings and the dip trio. Burgers were sad and cold, wings dry. The dip trio was actually pretty good. The table next to use was dirty the entire time we were sitting over an hour, passed by countless employees, there doesn't seem to be any busters either. Servers are giving you food, then picking up garbage on the floor and touching plates etc.. not very sanitary. Doesn't seem to be any presence of management, workers seem to be a free for all. Hostesses are clueless and have no experience clearly. Upsetting after this place just Opening and to see already lack of care and supervision. Will be back for the games and maybe some drinks and chips, but very dirty and questionably sanitary food practice. Please upper level management get this place together before too late.

We came here for lunch on Sunday - there were 2 employees at front desk. They did not even bother to greet us or acknowledge us. We walked to the restaurant area and there were 2 employees there that did the same thing. Where is customer service? We had to ask to be seated. Our server was prompt. Took out order and no suggestion. I asked for water no ice but got water with iced. Food was salty and ehh. Will never come here again. Food is ok at best. Service is totally crap. Atmosphere was not inviting.

Stupid place is trash. A lot of of machines are busted, some take your chips but don't actually give you the credits. I lost over 30 chips. So I spent my damn money on nothing. Scammers.

My wife and I are retired and took our grandson for an hour of arcade treats. The noise and din were intolerable. We couldn’t engage in any conversation. I’m a bit hearing impaired but the awful noise in the arcade was just awful. New York City should test this place for high deciible levels which will definitely cause hearing loss. We have the $$$ to spend on our grandkids. We won’t be spends my them here.

I go to dave and busters often, mostly in nj and pa. While my visit to NY on the other hand was my worst experience by far. When we first arrived after being seated being told to just find a seat they took about 15 minutes before even acknowledging that we were there. With only maybe 3 other tables eating after finally putting in our order, they forget the other half of my meal. They forgot to bring out a drink, and they made my boyfriends sandwitch wrong, and we had to ask for more sauce. As there wasn't any on the sandwitch as it was supossed to be in the description. They bring out the other half of my meal (Mozzerella sticks) and they bring me out cold(like refrigerated cold )marinara sauce. At this point, our server was rolling her eyes and getting agitated with us. Went to the bathroom, 2 toilets clogged, one was straight up disgusting, and the 1 that was normal, the door doesn't lock. Went to play some games like 1/3 of the games were not working. Not only is this a smaller building than what I've been to before but it gets really limited when almost half the games don't work.

I really try to be understanding in places like this because I get it. It's a Sunday evening and I'm sure this is the busiest day of the week. With that being said it amazes me the level of which is seems you were not only unprepared for the day but the general lack of care around this place is truly mind blowing. I stood at the host stand for 12 mins before being spoken to by anyone and when he finally did come he just sat us right away. So I'm thinking ok maybe they are just short on host 🤔. Nope server takes another 10 mins to even greet us and he starts with "what do you want to drink" I still don't know his name and im sitting at the table writing this. I truly wanted to just get up and walk out but my daughter wants to play and it wouldn't be fair to her to just leave so instead of spending a few hours here like I had planned I got her $20 worth of points let her play and I will be taking my family somewhere else to eat. I guess my whole point of writing this is to just remind who ever is in charge here that you should pay a bit more attention to the little things in a place like this because it's those things that will make or break your reputation

Love this place, I come here about once a month. Update - 01/09/2020 - This location has really fallen in quality. The last two times we went the food was subpar and the service was extremely slow. The last time we went, it was a Thursday night and there was no one there. I mean there was *no one* there. We waited for the hostess for 10 minutes before I went to the bar to get someone to seat us. Getting the bartenders attention was even a challenge despite the few customers. After being seated by the bartender who gave us menus, we waited 15 minutes before we decided to leave. In that time no one ever even came to take our drink order. On our way out I saw a worker hanging on the bar in a shirt and tie, I assumed he was the manager. I told him the situation and he apologized. He did not try to make it right. We left and haven't been back since, and don't plan to return to this location.

I understand that having to deal with 5th graders kids out on their senior trip might not be a dream job but taking advantage of the kids' parents not being around to talk down to them and being disrespectful to them is messed up. I've been at that location for birthdays and on a regular basis and never had this kind of issue so I know that when my daughter who I've actively taught politeness to, tells me that she was told to "MOVE!" or that she "FINALLY!" Picked up a prize with her points it's because she's 11 years old and no adults in charge is here to witness the disgusting behavior.. I'm going to look into filing a formal complaint because this really disgust me

The atmosphere is great but the food sucks and the service is almost always lousy. All my friends say ither locations will substitute sauces that come with their food. This location refuses to. Servers always aloof and not paying attention. I won't be eating here anymore and its a shame. You need better kitchen staff. Drink was horribly watered down.
