Chicken and waffles is AMAZING, and my Nigerian friend loves that you have a basket ball hoop when he watched the video of us playing. And the Texas size monster lives in Wyoming. The milk is amazing here..
They were extremely busy that day but the staff did a great job. We got our food amazingly fast. It's a great place for drinks and great food. Oh and just FYI the Chilli Dog was delicious.
There was a large Group of us having lunch after my daughter’s college graduation. We had reservations, the place was packed, but it was an amazing meal with great service and the food was terrific, as always. We’re going to miss the purple goat with my daughter graduating and moving back. Thanks for letting us Enjoy your amazing food for four years.
Been there twice now and both meals were great.
Stopped here to try it. I loved the atmosphere. We sat next to the cozy fire. Loved the food. I had the blue burger and my wife had the lunch special hamburger steak. Chad was our waiter and he has perfect manners and is very attentive
Sunday night was our first time to eat here and we were pleasantly surprised. The food and the service was great. Our waitress, Alexa C., did a great job and was always smiling no matter how many trips back and forth she had to make with our large group.
This place is amazing! The 1st thing is the Customer Service was the BEST we have every had! This young man Chad was on point with everything, knew when we needed a refill, wasn't overbearing and had great recommendations. 2nd the food was very delicious and the lunch portion was alot, simple but delicious. 3rd the atmosphere was amazing the fire pits made it cozy and just an overall country feel! You must try this place at least once. You will not be disappointed.
Delicious food, great service and the atmosphere is totally casual and fun. The burgers are THA BOMB! And my kids love their pancakes and bacon!
Awesome food! Huge portions, crispy fries, and the chicken with gravy was absolutely delicious.
It was wonderful, the atmosphere of the bar and grill had a cozy aesthetic with plenty of things too do for kids and adults, from pool tables to a playground outside. The food was great I recommend the goat balls and the catfish was wonderful! Cant wait to go back
As a former waitress I must say that Megan is a breath of fresh air! Extremely attentive and super friendly! Excellent customer service, Megan! You are amazing!
Delicious food! Friendly service.
Great experience! Was greeted upon entrance and seated immediately. Service was great, our server was very attentive and he took the time to make sure we weren’t at any point in need of anything. We got the Brisket Taquitos as an appetizer and they were very delicious, ask for bbq sauce on the side, it was very flavorful and the burgers and fries were amazing. My husband really enjoyed the Jalapeño chili burger and I enjoyed the artisan burger. They have a great menu selection! We were both very satisfied with the whole experience! Highly recommend trying this place out! Also, just a super cool and neat atmosphere all around!
Loved this place! Megan was amazing and had a huge smile. The breakfast was excellent. Big place with lots of tvs and tables. We will be back. Great menu!
Fun place to go, good food, and lots of drinks to chose from. Kid friendly, and plenty big to accommodate any size party.
I came with a group of 56 and the service was fabulous. They room for all of us and were on top of getting our drinks and food. I am very impressed for my first time coming.
I've had the fried catfish twice now Loved it. My buddy had a steak and he said it was good too.
Varied selection of burgers so you can always find what you're craving. The drink menu is the same. My favorite is the mega stuffed potato with brisket. It literally makes three meals for me. My son always goes for the Mom's mac and cheese with brisket and I think my husband is determined to try every burger on their menu. They have an extensive selection of beers on tap as well. The quality of the food is very high and the wait staff is absolutely amazing. Always a favorite when we go to Stephenville.
The food here is amazing! Super fresh and they pay attention to details. The fire roasted salsa was the best salsa I’ve ever tried.. and I’m a salsa lover. Check out the veggies in that “vegan burger”. The brisket nachos are super loaded and flavorful as well. Sweet potato waffle fries are worth the up-charge. Mac and cheese was not my favorite part, but is still a pretty solid 8/10. Margaritas were great as well. Can’t say much about the service however.. at least not the day I went. Side note; they call it a “vegan burger” but it is vegetarian unless you opt out of the cheese I suppose..
The purple goat may not look like much on the outside, but when you walk in it’s nothing but an amazing atmosphere. The food is quick and wonderfully delicious. The staff is kind and super helpful. 10/10 must come here when in stephenville.
Kaley was my bartender and she made this experience just awesome. Food was good, but her attitude, wit and demeanor was what made this place great for me!! I'll come back.
Best fried catfish I've had in probably 10 years, my little boys had the time of their lives playing on the playground with all the other kids. Kaden did a wonderful job taking care of us. First time here after moving to the area 4 months ago, will probably be back more than we should. They have a nice bar area if you're in that mood with a couple of pool tables, and equally suited for the whole family. All the food the tables around us ordered looked equally great. Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!
The food here is well worth the money!! U get a big plate full!! Our waitress was so sweet! I suggest you try fried avocados. Amazing!! The fish is the best around!
Had the best experience today. Lincoln was our server and he was so nice and professional and checked on us throughout our meal and then we had a great conversation afterwards. Such a nice experience.
Stopped here while e visiting Tarleton. The food options were awesome and at a good price. Or server was pleasant and helpful. Mostly burgers and brisket sandwiches were ordered. Great portions.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Purple Goat in Stephenville never misses. The food was absolutely incredible. Every bite had real flavor, everything came out hot and fresh, and you can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do. The portions were perfect, the seasoning was on point, and it’s the kind of meal that makes you stop talking for a second just to appreciate how good it is. Easily some of the best food in town. A huge shoutout to Manager Tara. She personally came by our table, checked on us, and made sure we had everything we needed. You don’t see that kind of attention and genuine care everywhere, and it honestly made our visit stand out even more. She runs that place with pride and it shows in the service. If you’re in Stephenville, you need to stop by The Purple Goat. Incredible food, great people, and service that makes you feel taken care of. Highly recommend. 🙌🔥
Visiting from out of state. Hostesses were friendly and cute as could be. Menu was a great mix of Texas specialties and even had a delicious vegetarian option. My dad LOVED the Bella Burger. The servers were kind and responsive. We’ll be back in the morning for breakfast!
Conner was amazing. The stack is the way to go 100000%. Conner did everything with a smile and took amazing care of us. Recommend the sweet potato fires always and the mimosas. Great for brunch at any hour of the day, and exceeded my expectations to the max!!!!
Edit 2025-06-19 Apparently the manager did not plan for a Thursday with customers. We came in, waited about 5 minutes for someone to shownup to seat us, and waited about 15 minutes for a server to take our order. At the time of writing this we have been waiting at least 30 minutes for our food. Seems like there is 9nly one server, and probably a skeleton crew in the kitchen. Some people went hunting for someone, just so they could pay and leave. Definitely poor management going on today... :/ ************ The AM Burrito was very tasty. Though the salsa had absolutely zero spice/heat to it. Would love to see a jalapeño or cremosa sauce to go with it. Biscuits and gravy were super flavorful, but I still had to add pepper to the gravy to get some spice in it. Staff was great. Definitely will return.
Everyone enjoyed their food. The burgers are large and well flavored. The atmosphere is a typical bar and grill feel. The beverage service was a little slow for the time of day 2 - 3pm, and the number of people. Food came out timely. All in all, the service was friendly and everyone thought their meal was great.
The portions here are HUGE. Got the Bbq burger with fries which are perfectly crispy!!! My son got the Mac n cheese burger which he devoured. The food was delivered within 10 minutes of sitting down, as we came for an early dinner. The bartender, Bradley, was really awesome. Gave me samples of all the IPA’s and other microbrews, which I finally settled on the 6666 Ipa, which is super smooth for an IPA. Would definitely recommend purple goat if you’re a local or even passing thru. Plus there are tv’s inside to watch whatever football game is going on which is a plus !!!
Great food & atmosphere! I love how spacious the inside is, and the outdoor seating & playground area was nice. The food & service was great. They offer all day breakfast, many lunch and dinner options, and have a wide variety of beers on tap, and alcoholic drinks available. They also have sports fields in the back to rent for birthday parties or sporting events. Cool little place!
This place is just great! 10/10 for my husband and myself. The staff is friendly, service has been fast and food is amazing. But what really blew us away is the fact that the OWNER delivered our food!! He visited with us and tables all through the restaurant and we watched him fill ice for the bar and open/greet costumes coming in. That is rare and wonderful. Love this place and will be back again and again
The only two things I want to say is the crust on my cfs was to much and fell away from the meat. Also is the thin sheet of paper my steak was sitting on tore when I cut my steak and gravy so I had to watch each bite for paper pieces stuck on my food. Not pleasant !!!!!
Good food, good size portions for the price! Very extensive menu. We loved we could take our little dogs inside. Very laid back atmosphere, attentive service without hovering.
Really good food, love the atmosphere there and everyone is always sweet. If you don’t know where to eat in town I highly recommend stopping by.
Everything was good, service, food etc. It was very busy for Tarleton graduation, but the staff handled it well.
This is a very good place to go. Very community oriented. Good food. Good portion sizes. Respectable prices. I would recommend this place. The only reason for 4 stars is, there's almost always room for improvement. My okra was a bit soggy while another in our party's okra was perfect. Service could have been a little faster. But these were minor issues. But technically 4 stars.
Dinner on a Sunday night- Mac and cheese with brisket was good. Mac n cheese had a tangy taste to it, definitely different. Three stars on the food b/c my hubbs had a steak medium rare and it was raw and cold in the middle.. they offered to take it back or discount it, good customer service.
The atmosphere was good. The food was ok, the fries weren't anything special. Had a bluemoon burger and it was just ok as well, nothing overly special but it wasn't dry or bland just not what you think a special 13 dollar burger would be. Nice playground outside for kids. Fire puts in the covered patio area.
Good time of the day to eat. Seated immediately. Could have been an old feed store or warehouse & did excellent & attractive conversion. Had a good varied menu. Ordered pork chop with baked potato. Potato was fresh and huge, but skimpy on the butter & sour cream, had to ask for more. Pork chop was served with bone in; delicious & juicy, but a little salty for my taste. Should have told them to hold any extra salt. I would go back. Wife ordered chopped salad with romaine lettuce & jalapeño ranch dressing. Salad was uninspiring, dressing tasted like plain ranch, no tomatoes, no onions. Place started filling up as we were leaving. They did a great job on the decor & bar plus there is an outdoor screened in deck that looks like it would be great during the fall, winter & spring.
Was my first time patronizing this place as this did not exist when I want to TSU. Great beer selection. I had the catfish and it was pretty good, but not something I would have to get again.
GREAT place to stretch your legs and relax during a long car ride!!! Our kids enjoyed the playground while my husband and I sat on the covered porch. We were greeted right away on an early Friday evening. We had the cheese sticks and “goat balls” to start. Then we had a pulled pork sandwich, quail tenders, and kid had a pancake and egg for our meals. Our waiter, Chad, was so nice and very attentive. They said they had about 30 beers on tap, which my husband ordered a couple. When we decided to move inside due to incoming weather, 2 different staff members helped us move our plates inside and held the door for us. We will for sure come here again!! Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that the food was just ok. The Mac and cheese was the biggest offender…completely bland and just tasted like milk.
Eggs were a little overcooked and some butter would have been great for the biscuit but everything tasted amazing. It was better than expected and I drove 140 miles to eat here. So good. Even the biscuit was good. Service was a little slow but it’s a popular place and I showed up at noon on a Sunday. I will definitely return.
This place has a good vibe. Family friendly but w/has a nice bar. Was seated immed. We ordered the fried avocado w/a great golden brown crunchy exterior fry & the yumminess of avacado slightly warmed up. Yum! Then I ordered i think the BB salad. It is wings w/a salad. Four wings (bone in/out optl). The ext. fry on the bone-in wings was again really nice & crunchy cooked to a perfect golden color. The salad was very well prepared & good tasting had it had Bleu cheese crumbles and bacon in it. Fries are double fried can't go wrong with them. They do have several home made salad dressings ranch being one of them l. They also have jalapenos ranch, chipotle ranch and srirachi ranch if you get into that spicier worse. I did try the jalapeno ranch and at least with this batch I found it very easy to eat. Enjoy!
A friend and I live out of the area so we met at The Purple Goat; we found it on Google maps. The atmosphere was outstanding; also clean restrooms. Interesting menu, very enticing the reason we chose the restaurant. The food overall was bland but tasted ok. Pictures below. We will try it again but there will be different food choices next time. The wait staff was super. Overall 4 stars because of bland food.
Food is okay... Service and Atmosphere make up for it.
We did a group motorcycle ride out to this place as we heard the food was good and the atmosphere was cool. The biggest downfall was our server as she was more interested in her phone and the guy working the host stand. We had to get up several times to go and get other servers for condiments, drinks and napkins.
Our waitress was nice but we only saw her a handful of times despite being in there for over an hour (not by choice). She also didn't warn us that ranch (in a very small container) cost $1. Portion sizes were otherwise good especially for the mac and cheese. My companion was disappointed that the ball of fire burger packs no heat.
The Japanese sausage is delicious; sweet potato fries are tasty; brisket is tender; 34 different beers on tap. But with concrete floors & high metal ceilings it gets SO loud and noisy inside. Restaurant was about half full and it was so loud I could hardly hear the person sitting right next to me 👎🏼. Service was a bit on the slow side. I was a little surprised at the smallish portion size of the $16 2-meat-entree w 2 sides. Outside there’s covered patio seating, large fire pit, medium sized playground. Overall not bad, but it’s really only good for families w small children if you’re willing to eat outside
One person in our group didn't receive their Macaroni and cheese until everyone one else had finished eating and we were ready to leave. It didn't really matter. It wasn't worth eating. The boneless wings were not edible, every piece in the order had to much gristle to be eaten. The baked potatoes and salad were good!
There are some staffing problems at this place. The past 2 or 3 times we have been there has been one, maybe two people waiting tables. I feel so bad for them because they are doing the best they can do. One time I came and stood at the front door waiting to be seated for at least 10 minutes. People were getting mad and just leaving. It has a great patio, a cute little playground for the kids, and the food is decent. They just need more workers to make it a pleasant experience for the customers.
The Artisan Burger with was good, with nice seasoning on the meat patty, and flavorful goat cheese . Very kid-friendly with a cool playground. Waitress was good. Patio seating with a 105 degree heat index was a bad idea, and hundreds of flies dined with us. Inside seating definitely recommended. An item was stolen from our truck bed in the parking lot, so beware of crime.
This was hands down one of the worst but yet most expensive lunches I've had in a long time!!! Though it started out good, with a cool atmosphere, friendly service, good appetizer and cold beer. But that unfortunately was were everything good ended. I ordered a burger, that I specifically asked for medium to medium rare, it came well done, so not even close! But I just ate what I could as I was hungry, got about 2/3 through it and I couldn't stand any more, It was not juicy or flavorful at all, I would say it was meh at best! I've had better at Mcdonalds. My wife ordered the grilled chicken, and it was so bad and so dry she almost choked trying to swallow the first bite, it was seriously not edible. When the waitress came back, a good while later, we told her of the issue with the chicken, she asked what we wanted to do, try another one or just take it off the bill. We said let's just take it off as we didn't want to try our luck on another terribly dry chicken or anything else seeing my burger was also pretty bad. My wife literally had one bite of her chicken and the best they could offer was to take 25% of only her meal, that she didn't and couldn't even eat. So, we spent $70 on a good appetizer, a very bland and overcooked burger, an un-edible dried out chicken, and 2 beers each... what a complete and total rip off!!! We will not be back!
Atmosphere was a fun western style restaurant with lots of sheet metal/wood in the walls, pool tables, air hockey and a descent outdoor area. We got are drinks quick and the fried pickles were delicious 🤤 Unfortunately the entrees were aweful. My wife and I had the “sliced” brisket sandwich and my daughter had the fried chicken sandwich. 1st it was a loooong wait which I would t have minded if the food was great but it was all pretty bad except the fries. The sliced brisket was sooo gross. As soon as I saw the sandwich and lifted the bread I should have sent it back. It was like a 2” slab of brisket with some cheap looking bbq sauce on top. Like straight up Kraft bbq sauce. The brisket just looked dry and gross like a slab of overcooked pot roast?? If you are accustomed to Texas brisket you should have had red flags up reading this already. It was sooooooo dry and tasted like an odd blend of hickory wood and reheated weird?? My wife said she loved her “canned green beans” 😂 She does like those but not what you would expect at place like this. Truely the best part was the fries
This review is directed towards our server Jay. By far this is the worst experience I’ve had at purple goat. Jay was the worst server ever and this comes from a server at a busy restaurant. I can’t even say he tried. He was never attentive to our table, was not hospitable, he barely checked on us, and our table had to wait almost 2 hours for all of our food to arrive. Two of our guests had to take their food in to-go boxes because by the time it came out (it had been sitting out, but not one server or food runner took it out to us) it was already time to leave, AND the order was wrong! As many of us work in the restaurant industry this was extremely upsetting because we know more could have been done. We had to walk inside for refills because Jay couldn’t seem to bring any out in under 20 minutes. I love purple goat, but the service Jay presented was just awful and I think had i got up and done his job I would’ve 100% cut our time in half!
More like a dirty Bar, with a large urinal trough , no soap or hand towels. The many flies were more interested in my food than I was. The menu was a joke, our food was nothing like the description. Baked potato, burnt dry, 5 small slices sausage, two forks of dry beef served on aluminum tray$30. I have reviewed restaurants from Kansas ,Oklahoma and All over Texas, it's rare to find a bad review from me, sorry guys. The menu is really jacked up, what is redneck cheddar, and why$6 upcharge to ($14) vegetarian burger for a total of over $20 hamburger!
Starting off we showed up at 6:15pm it was not crowded but their staff seemed busy. We sat down and that's when the waiting started. We stat for 25 minutes before a manager came and asked us and we hadn't been talked to there are drinks had been ordered. At which this time we had not talked to anybody. I had time to take all the pictures that you're seeing here before anybody made conversation. Since time had passed we knew what we wanted and went ahead and ordered our drinks and our food and proceeded to wait again. We waited probably another 15 minutes before food showed up and definitely that was lackluster. The Chicken and waffles came out with two different cooked chicken tenders. One extremely dark. The other one light gold. You could tell that one chicken tender had been sitting in the overhead cooking lamp and the other one was cooked fresh. The waffle was pretty thin and small in comparison to other chicken and waffle places. Overall, the chicken consistency made the plate very unpalatable. My wife got the chicken fried steak and let me tell you it was pretty much battered fried very little steak. Hollow shell encased around small steak is definitely how I would describe it? At this point our drinks were completely empty and still not talked to any service person outside of the managers order taking. I went ahead and stood up and retrieved the manager and asked for a final ticket. Our waitress who would have been our waitress if she had shown up decided to show up and so when I asked the manager who'd receive any gratuity they stated it would be the waitress I went ahead and just left $5. Since the manager did all the work I didn't want to not leave anything but gratuity is for good service where this was no service at all and if I had a different attitude towards the service industry I definitely would have left tip at all. It was very inexcusable and the excuse that was provided was that all the "A" squad employees were at the football game and the "C" squad was taking over for the evening. As we were leaving it was only getting busier and busier. So I feel for any other customers that were there that evening because there was a lot of distress at all the tables. Though with a backdrops of the baseball fields and the sunset. I did like the scene and atmosphere of the area so if it had better staffing any accommodations for the guest I could see it being a fun place.
Service was terrible. Mixed school group, was given the wrong meal. My meal was given to someone from another school that was with us, and that person began to eat the meal. When i got the wrong thing i mentioned it, i was given the meal that the other student had!! I refuse to eat something someone else has eaten off of!!! Gross. 2/10 service.
The chicken has no flavor, after eating the waffle my stomach was extremely hurting and I've been on the toilet for hours.
Good luck getting a drink, much less ordering your food. Batting .000 in multiple trips. What an insult to the community this establishment is. Staff is more concerned with flirty instead of worky.
Really wanted to like this place, and even gave it a second chance, but I strongly suspect that this place is succeeding despite itself. If you advertise that you carry 40 beers, it might be beneficial if your wait staff can name more than three of them (this was my experience with three different servers). The place has a lot of potential, but it's not worth waiting over 30 min just to get drinks, especially when you have plenty of empty tables. Left both times I tried this place without eating due to excessive wait times on just drinks. Highly recommend that management be present, help and train the staff, and discourage servers standing around when there is plenty to do (bus the several dirty tables, run drinks, learn your menu).
If I could give them 0 stars I would! The food has been really bad lately and one night it even made me sick. The staff there don't care about anything. And the food has no flavor and it's not fresh. We used to go here almost every Friday but not going here anymore unless they change their menu and the staff!!!!
Waited forever to get seated. Food tasted like it was waffle house on a good day. Table was sticky.
We’ve been here before and decided to stop by while passing through. It took a moment to get seated but when we did, we sat there for over 20 minutes and nobody helped us, even after making eye contact with two other servers. More than half the tables had dirty dishes (easily over 20) even though the place was nearly empty. We kept having flies land on our table and had to sit next to an obnoxious air hockey table that was way too noisy for adults our age to enjoy the atmosphere. To add insult to injury, when we left, the person that sat us and forgot about us was in the other room cleaning the tables and had no idea we were leaving. Based on our first visit, we were happy with the food and decided to come back but based on this visit, we will probably go somewhere else before giving this place another chance.
Looked like a good place to eat. Unfortunately the hostess walked off when we came in. After about 10 minutes standing at the hostess desk with not a single person came to help us so we left
I went there this past weekend, and the food was mid and lacked flavor. The atmosphere was not good. There was food all over the ground and several dirty tables around us that needed to be cleaned for over 30 min and were attracting flies. The service was just as bad. We got there and put our name down for a table around 11 a.m. The lady that took down my name and phone number was rude the whole time we were there when we asked her when we would be seated. We were not seated until 12:20 pm. We ordered our food around 12:35. It didn't take long for us to order since we had looked at the menus during the almost hour and half wait. We didn't get our food until 2:40pm. If I had not been there with friends, I would have left and went somewhere else. I will never go back. What is sad is this was my first time going and I was excited to go and enjoy myself which never happened. If I could, this restaurant would not have even gotten the 1 star I had to use in order to leave this review.
We came during parents weekend. Took over an hour to get our food. Our visit here was a total of 2 hours for a family of 3. The power also went out while we were here.
Took forever for our food to arrive and then only some of it was hot. Couldn't find server for drink refills and had to ask hostess to get them. Check was $145. Wasn't worth $20. Sad to say we won't be giving the purple goat a second try!
We just had the worst service. I’ve come here 3 times in the last year and the last two times service wasn’t great, but this takes the cake. Me, my sister and my one year old went for lunch, it was not busy and were told to seat ourselves, server took forever before coming to take our order, he didn’t write anything down. He brought out me and my sisters food and never returned with my daughters kids meal, and never came back to check on us so I went to the host stand for silverware which was not given to us and also asked her to check on my daughters food, which after 20 minutes never came. Our server didn’t check on us once, and no one was on the dinning floor for us to wave down at all. we went up to the bar to pay, he looked at us twice and made us wait another five minutes before finally checking us out. I told him we never got our kids meal and he really could’ve cared less, just said he didn’t write anything down so he forgot to put it in. I will not be back.
I used to love the Goat. I hadn’t been in a while and decided to stop by and give it another try tonight. Loooooong wait at the hostess stand. Staff peaking out from the kitchen and not interested in seating us. One finally comes to us and seats us. Another long wait at the table. We watch other servers tending to tables, and no one stopping by or even looking at ours. Finally, the person that sat us, comes back by and asks what we want to drink. We order. While we’re waiting, we see other parties coming in and being ignored and having long waits at the hostess stand like we’d experienced. The restaurant was not busy at all. Monday night, after 7pm. Most tables in the patio area were dirty. We notice a party of 2 that was sat after us get tired of waiting, and they got up and left before getting any attention (I should have done the same). We were a party of 3. It took about 1-1/2 hrs from the time we got sat until we paid our tab. When we got our ticket, i was appalled. I can’t think of another place in town where a draft beer costs $12.50 each. It cost $84 for a chip/queso app, 3 entrees (catfish plate, clucker bucket, and a dinner salad), two waters and two beers. I’m not a jerk…while service didn’t earn it, I did leave a 15% tip. So, I dropped $97 for long waits, crappy service, and an over priced menu. I definitely don’t plan to return or support this business again. I used to really enjoy going here. It’s just gotten worse over time, and I’m not willing to spend money here any more. My daughter went last week and experienced the same poor service. She had to go find her server to pay her check because they were so inattentive. I felt bad that I’d recommend her try out their lunch menu and she ended up having a poor experience. Highly do NOT recommend this place.
Well,I have given this place as many chances as I'm willing to! The last 2 times we have come here, the service has been terrible and the food has been subpar at best! The last time we came,I got a salad that was the size of a dinner salad at most places and was extremely expensive!! The manager even agreed that it was over priced but said there's nothing he could do..the owners make the prices! Tonight was our last trip to this place!! Maybe 30% capacity, service was bad...we waited 10 minutes to even get a hello....but the last straw was when I got the bill. My wine(cheap pinot) was $12!! $12 for about 4 ounces of wine! This glass wasn't even half full! I asked the manager and he said "unfortunately, yes...the owner sets that prices"...he said he was sorry and knew it was ridiculous but couldn't do anything about it. I guess I know why they don't have it priced on the menu! Good luck Purple 🐐....we won't be back!
We came here a year ago and they asked us how we wanted our burgers cooked and the burgers were plump and juicy. Fast forward a year…Apparently the menu has changed. Payed $15+ for our burgers and they came to us burnt and too dry to even eat. We talked to our waitress about it and all she said was, “sorry there’s nothing I can do”. Our soda had so much ice in it that is was watered down by the 3rd sip. Seriously though, Whataburger burgers are a 1/8 of the price and are much tastier than this. For the price and taste of the food and not great service we wouldn’t go back.
TOOTHPICK IN MY TAQUITO. I ordered pickup. Got my food, first 2 were bland but thats what the guac and pico is for, quite enjoyable with the condiments. Went for my third and in my third bite I was stabbed in gums.. I initially thought it was a hard edge of the tortilla… Man was I wrong. I have dined in and had great food and service. First time doing takeout.. I understand the use of toothpicks in the shaping, and frying process. But the fact that it was rolled into my taquito is very concerning. That could have ended up being a lot worse than a bloody gum. Be careful y’all.
