This is an exceptional fast food restaurant. The service is friendly, food is properly prepared and nearly flawless in all respects... and that fact is impressive given how busy this location is. If you're in doubt, check the local public health inspections.

I am a regular In N Out customer. With that being said tonight’s experience was an experience like no other the food was exceptionally great or in other words it was perfect. I had to ask who the cook was and his name was Julian he cooked me the best burger I’ve had at In N Out in months. When I was talking to him I could tell he takes his job serious and he really cares about his position as the cook. He told me that his secret ingredient was love and not many in n outs put in the same love as Julian did. 10/10 burger and experience.

In-N-Out has always been my go-to for a simple yet delicious burger. The fresh ingredients make every bite satisfying. The wait can be long, but it's worth it for the quality and that signature taste!

This place is always good no matter which location I visit. But....the location on West March Ln gets very busy and at peak times of the day (lunch and dinner hours) the line of cars will continue to where cars are actually lined up out ON March lane. So it's a bit of a wait to get your food, but the line moves quickly. Good place to eat.

In-N-Out Burger on I-5 in Stockton is my favorite stop before heading to Sacramento! The drive-through or dine in take about the same waiting time. No complaints from me!

Love this location the most. It's pretty quick even when it's very busy. Staff here are nice and from the few times I've been inside it seemed very clean as well. This is also right off the freeway. It use to get extremely busy but now we have 2 In-N-Outs so it's not as busy as it use to be.

We miss dining here so much! We left California a year ago and there isn't an In-N-Out Burger where we are. The first thing we did when we left the airport is dine here! Everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were great as well and we didn't have to clean or wipe off our tables beforehand. We will be back!

Great service and great food. What is it that makes the in and out cheeseburger so good? Surprisingly, it's the bun which is toasted perfectly. This allows the condiments, juicy tomato and burger to be wet as they should be, while maintaining a a dry delicious bun. The melted cheese seals it shut as well. Accompany this with animal fries and a milkshake. AMAZING!!!

It's a staple of California and is always a must go for lunch and dinner. Gooey cheese, umami meaty patties, soft buns, a drink and ask for crispy fries to complete your meal. For any sized burger, grilled onions (whole or minced) is always a good idea and to spice it up get chopped chili's added too.

Wow!! SoCal could learn a thing or two about NoCal's In N Out's! Stopped in at 10:44pm and out the door, FULL, at 11:04pm!! The Burgers are Bigger and Badder than Ever!! Fries were Real Good too! The Drive Through line is Long, as one would expect, but inside there was No One till I left! I'll drive 320 miles again Just to enjoy California's Best Burger Joint!!

Usually I go through the drive through, which happens to be a pretty long line every time I go, but even so the wait isnt too bad, pretty quick actually for the line length and of course the food is always yummy and affordable. Been here twice this week haha

Best burgers. Got a double double animal style, meaning with the typical pickles, tomato, lettuce, and grilled onions with house sauce. The milkshakes are so smooth and thick. Slower than McDonald's because everything is made to order, but it's well worth the wait. Love this place!

It’s a busy evening and everyone is clearly working hard, but he happens to be the person to have called out my order number and handed me my drink after it was prepared by someone else and he tore the wrapper off of my straw and then removed the tip of the wrapper he had originally left for me! The food is good. Customer service is great. The drive through situation is crazy! The lines are long at any In-N-Out you go to. This one used to run out onto the street. Now they made it snake around the parking lot which block some of the parking an as you know. Some people can't drive. If you decide to stop here pack your patience.

It has been a while since I stop in at In and Out. Also first time ordering inside. I love the look of the interior. Soda and lemonade section is cool. Ketchup and wax peppers section a crossed from the drinks. As usual, I don't care for the fries my mom loves them. I got my son and I a Double Double and 1 animal fry well done. (It was a recommendation for better tasting fries, Nope...) Burger's were great. Even setting the ride home. Unfortunately fries were cold and hard, well done and my mom's regular cooked fries were cold making them unenjoyable. Which had nothing to do with how the cooked the fresh fries. Unfortunately for me, I absolutely do not like American cheese on hamburger's. It takes away the true flavor of the meat in my opinion. No matter what it was delicious. Needed a little more of their burger sauce, but when getting my meal they asked if I wanted ketchup and salt and pepper, I said yes, and unfortunately very low I asked for more sauce, she must of not heard me and repeated, "Salt and Pepper?" I just agreed, and regretted it later. I definitely will be going again very soon. Ordering a Double no cheese and milkshake and rate it again. Lastly. The young cashier, had no real personality. He was nice, and polite, but as I made a comment about not being there in a long time while smiling he just reasked what I would like to order. As I said, he was nice, but personality goes a long way. They just opened so it wasn't a long day excuse/reason either. Also, like the old days it seems drive thru takes priority.there wasn't a long line and I was number ten order inside and it took roughly 15 minutes.coukdnblame it on my fries, or workers.the burgers were done sitting in the box for 5-8 minutes while I waited for my animal fries and my mom's regular cooked fries, that was handed to the finishing employee to hand it to me. I didn't take a picture this time but I will soon and update this review. As I said I will be returning often.

Haven't had it for a while so it was nice treat! Love the burgers. The fries were okay, i was expecting more crispy and hotter fries. We ordered cheesy and animal style fries. Our fries were soggy and soft. Burger were excellent, patties were grilled to perfection. In n out never disappoints!

I noticed the bun was hard on the edge only, servers need to slow speak clearly that way it only needs said once. Some of us don't hear like we used to. I did notice a couple of flies but it's due to the weather fluctuating. Update great improvement

I would've rated this last visit 3 stars but I know that the service/experience overall during the last several years has been great. There is always a line here at the drive thru especially around dinner time, but the staff is great about getting out there with their mobile devices to take orders ahead of time and get them processing. I don't think I have ever seen them use the actual speaker/microphone at the menu. Inside they do keep the place clean regardless of how busy it is. When ordering, the menu is very simple: a couple variations of hamburgers, fries and drinks. Keeping things basic means hot and high quality. I suggest that you try out their secret menu which includes "duh" items like toasted buns on your burger, well done fries (I recommend this always! No soggy fries!) or animal style. You could go further with the secret menu and ask for a root beer float, cheese fries, protein style or simply add chilis! Whatever you choose, know that your food will come out fresh. Now the downside: they have not perfected handing out food at the final window. Every time they confirm with you what you ordered. You might be thinking, "doesn't this HELP?" Sure, if your order is not similar to the person in front or if the person in front actually pays attention to the order confirmation. This trip for example we ordered just 3 double doubles with chilis and 3 fries well done. Not an order that is typically similar to most people BUT when we pulled up, the person at the window was asking us if we had a variety of sodas. We don't drink soda. After reading back to them what our order was, her face dropped. The car in front had confirmed and taken our order home. "No big deal" you're thinking, right? Well, remember how I reiterated that orders were fresh? That meant for us we were asked to pull forward and park to wait for our order. We did, and it was about 10 minutes - in addition to waiting in line. So we receive our order finally... As anyone would, I snagged a fry out of the bag. Ummm, soggy. Remember: fries well done? They should come out more potato chip like. Ok, maybe a stray one. We both tried more fries and sure enough all soggy. In their rush to fix our order because of another human not paying attention, we received it incorrectly. After a long day of work plus moving our things to our new home, we just left. Though their steps to ensure everyone received top notch food is meant to be a good thing, in this case (and a few times before) it wasn't. Is In-N-Out great? Yes! I highly recommend it. They always make items fresh, tasty and they're pretty efficient during a rush. The drawback is they all get so caught up that orders can be messed up. I expect this at McDonalds where I am usually asked to "pull forward". Not here. So, I would give them 5 stars but this situation has happened before and I would give them 3 stars. The balance: 4 stars and a rediculously unnecessarily LONG review 😂🤣 PS: go to Krispy Kreme too! Check their specials, you can get free doughnuts for walking in!

Got there right at open to avoid the line. Really friendly staff. They ask if you need any condiments and also if you will be eating in your car. I got the double double with animal fries and strawberry shake. Only issue was my animal fries were a little cold and the sauce just covered the top of the fries.

Good burgers, fries are ok there is always a lot of people in the drive thru but the service in the lobby is good. The shakes are good. Not a great selection of food is basically just burgers, fries and shakes, the good thing about the burgers is that they load them up with vegetables and they are fresh.

Was never a fan of IN-N-OUT because of the long lines. Decided to give it a try today and it was okay. I timed from the moment we got to the line until picking up the food at the window. It took 30 minutes. Customer service was very friendly, so I'll give them that. Got the fries "fry well" and it was very crispy. We got a strawberry shake and chocolate shake, but they gave us a vanilla shake instead of the chocolate. Both were still tasty, and not overly sweet.

If you are willing to wait in line, it is worth it. Still the best deal for a burger fries and a soda. Two of us, We can eat for $20 or less still. That is rare anywhere else these days.

This location was just okay. Ate inside and it's apparent drive thru orders were prioritized. It took FOREVER to get my food. I watched my double double sit on the counter getting cold while my animal fry was prepared. By the time I got my order, everything was lukewarm. I HATE cold food!!! Fries were less than desirable. Burger was still good (except the ice cold bun) Will not visit this location again.

Regularly the food and service at in n out is consistent and good. The service was good. Fries perfect. The burger good except the thickness of the onion reuoed the overall taste. Usually it's a thinly sliced onion. Today it was about a quarter inch slice. It was an overwhelming flavor of raw onion.

The line was smaller at the March lane location and now I know why. The wait was much too long for one order of #1 and a side of fries. The line was long for drive thru, so I opted to walk in an order. The wait was ridiculous for one hamburger. I had to check on my order twice. I was the 2nd person in line to order and people who arrived after me with bigger orders received their order first. I waited about 30 minutes. security guard is racist. went there today on 6/15/25. my speaking spanish bf was waiting on the outside benches for me, and the security asked him if he was buying something , my bf didn’t understand and let him know he doesn’t speak english. security told him he needed to go. I got there and told the security he should have looked for someone that could translate. security guard said that we are in a country where everyone is expected to know english….. we left.. never coming back to this location.

This place messes up my order every other week. I only know when they messed up after paying for my food and reading the receipt. Half the time they change my order around when I clearly say “please add an extra”, they instead change my current order drink, fries, etc. to what I wanted added. Whoever was working on 04/14/25 at 12am taking orders completely messed up my order. My boyfriend ordered for me, he said a number 2 with no onions and a large pink lemonade. He said for his order a number 1 just meant cheese and the bun, and she asked “so just by itself?” He did not mean by itself but went with it anyways. And then said an animal fry on the side. She didn’t repeat the order and just told us to pay at the next window. Got our food and she got rid of my fries and replaced it with an animal fry, and my boyfriend’s order was a number 2 plain by itself. He said number 1 which is a double double, but they gave us a single paddy burger. Whoever was taking orders this day should be demoted for fired. There was no one else there so it was definitely not busy. I don’t know why she was trying to rush the order. My order was clear so idk how she messed up my half of the order.

They added salt to my burger when I specifically asked for no salt, causing my blood pressure to spike... Safe to say I won't be returning here anytime soon.

07/06/2025 3:00-3:30pm Weirdly, the person taking my order kept laughing as if his head was somewhere else. There was only a handful on cars in the drive thru and yet the staff still managed to forget to give me my medium beverage and no seasoning at all in my burgers . This is by far the worst in n out I have been to, with a bunch of YOUNG staff that do not care about the job, only the paycheck. Get a grip.

The strawberry milkshake was liquid. You shouldn't be selling the milkshake like this. I got 4 milkshakes, 2 strawberry, 1 vanilla and 1 chocolate. The strawberry milkshakes were totally liquid.

We paid at the drive thru window at about 5:10pm. After about 5 minutes of asking us "what did you order" over and over again, we finally just gave them our receipt back. A few minutes later we're told they had "lost our ticket" so our food had never even been started. We were asked to go out to the parking lot to wait. As In-N-Out is generally a busy place, you can imagine there was no where to park. So we drive around the lot for a few minutes, waiting. Finally found a parking spot pretty far from the building so I go inside since they'll never find us out there, by now it is 5:25pm. Stand at the counter being ignored by all the employees. Finally get the attention of a young man who is leaving the back area and tell him the issue. He goes to find out what's going on, and the original guy that had been at the drive thru window is no where to be seen. Did he go on break? Did he go home? Is he eating my dinner in the corner somewhere? I don't know. Then someone says, oh, yea, we are making the burgers now. Wait. What? It's been 15+ minutes since we paid. 20+ since we ordered. You're just now making them? Okay. Okay... Let me just wait quietly here. Waiting. Waiting. Finally they call out an order number. Remember, we were in the drive thru, and they have the receipt. So..I'm just like... Hmmm that could be mine. Hey is that drive thrus order? Oh... yea. Thanks. I grab the food, and decide to check it. Yup, missing food. Go back to tell him and get ignored like when I originally walked in. Nope, this isn't going to work for me. I finally get his attention tell him what's missing and then...he needs to go get someone's permission to finish making my order! Mind you, they never gave my receipt back. I finally get all my food and get back to my car and it was 5:40pm. Ridiculous. By the time I got to the car the burgers were already cold. Don't even bother with how gross they and the fries were by the time I got them home. And the picture here is the animal sauce all on the top of the box. That's how they gave it to me. Take some pride in your work people. Yes it was busy. But it's not uncommon, you should have been prepared. This was the worst experience I've ever had at In-N-Out.

Traveling home from deep sea trip in the Bay area, we all got hungry and decided on In/Out burger near interstate 5 freeway. What a mistake we made, not knowing. Food was delicious but our ride home was awful. 3 hours to go before we get home,hour and a half into trip home, multiple vehicle stops to vomit 🤢 everything up. Our night was no better once we reached our destination. Feeling lingered on for 3 days. We noticed the car line was long and started to go eat elsewhere, but the majority wanted burgers, towing my boat, I made my way back across March lane. We placed our order to go. What an episode.

Let's try this again. This is my third. Yes my THIRD time trying to send this in. Here's it AGAIN cut and pasted. Went to my nearby store (March LN in Stockton) food came home to the family everything was there and hot. Great! As I'm eating my double double. I noticed a big stem where the leafy lettuce should be. I pull it out and the "green" side òf the lettuce is brown! Rotten, soggy, slimy. I then open the burger up and all the lettuce was rotten! Every single leaf of lettuce was brown. I've taken photos of all of it. This made my stomach turn and now sick to my stomach. I feed the whole family of 5 and we eat at in n out very often, with no other problems. There has been the occasional rude employee and forgotten napkins here and there but overall the service and food are great! This event however needed to be addressed.
