How have I slept on Tacos Chapala for this long?! After Googling “Best Nachos in Stockton” and scrolling through the photos— I liked the look of the nachos at Tacos Chapala best. Since it was Sunday Football, I placed an order To Go over the phone. They do require you to pay in advance with a card for orders over $40, but I find that completely reasonable. We ordered Al Pastor Nachos, Carne Asada Nachos, Carne Asada Fries, 6 Al Pastor Tacos with Pineapple, and a small Ceviche cup. The cost was around $60, which is more than fair. When we went to pick them up, I was surprised at the size of the restaurant. It is big and there are plenty of tables to dine in! There is also a small seating area outside, which is cool. My favorite part of the restaurant has to be the huge fresh salsa bar. They have at least half a dozen different types of salsas— all of which I tried and loved. The white creamy salsa though? MMMmmm! Everything we ordered was delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

This was my first time trying their food and I must say the steak burrito was delicious. My sons had steak tacos and lil one wanted some Spanish rice. Service was great and they even had an outside patio with plenty space to enjoy your meal. Definitely going back to try the chile verde. It’s located in the rear of the parking lot across from Super Walmart. Lots of parking and seating as well. I just wish they sold tamales and they ran out of chile verde so I have to get there earlier.

I haven't been to Tacos Chapala in over 4 years since the last time I was in Stockton. I was in the mood for something really good so this place was right on the way home. I ordered their all meat burrito and boy, they did not disappoint! It was made fresh in front of you and everything was just on point. The next time I am back in Stockton, I will be going back to Tacos Chapala for not only their great service, but mainly for their awesome food!

Great tacos...haven’t tried anything else. My favorite are the Birria Queso Taco’s and my wife loves the Pastor tacos that comes with pineapple. Wait is usually 10-15 minutes though :(

Home of the puffy taco 😋😋😋 I’m rating this by food only hopefully by now that one worker is gone bad news for customers this was on my second visit young girl was rude had me repeat my order 3 times only to screw it up. But this puffy taco very filling manager very nice salsa bar the bomb and Mexican coke cola perfect 👌 a must stop

Hours on the website says open at 7AM until 5pm everyday other than holiday, came to this spot twice at 7Am and no one was home!! This is one on hammer Ln. Unless this place closed down and im not aware of it.

Had the burrito supreme ? Was good but the beans and rice lacked the flavor I was looking for and I got carne asada was good. Might order something different next time . Worth the price and size but I would ask them to grill the burrito because the cheese wasn't melted in the burrito.

Good experience. Went here and purchased a vegetarian burrito, carne asada and chicken taco, chips and guacamole and a supreme asada burrito. Food was really good. We found a clean table very fast. I love their prices for the quality of food. The wait wasn't that long for the food. The longest wait was for our chips and guac. There was no more left by the time I ordered so we had to wait a long time. Almost all of our food was gone by the time we got them. Other than that, I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. I will definitely be back in the future.

Been 2 years since I’ve came back here. Food was overall okay. Pastor tacos were disappointing, they had no flavor. Asada tacos were a lil salty. The asada fries were okay. Nothing special that would make me want to come back again. The lady who took my order coulda been a lil nicer too.

I would love it if the Name of where a person is driving to, Stayed at the top of our phone until we at least reach the destination. That would be great. Sometimes you end up at the wrong place and don't know it until you get there.

I use to love coming here back in 2014 when i first moved to Stockton , their tacos were always hella bomb ! However , i came in today & was highly disappointed! My husband got a chicken burrito and the rice and beans had no flavor, they barely put any chicken. & my tacos were just whatever , i ate them cuz i paid for them and was starving but was disappointed in them . This was our last time coming here.
