Update 8/22/24: Stopped by and had a burger that was wonderfully juicy and flavorful. French fries were abundant and the milkshake was yummy. They have a new indoor space that’s really nice. ****************************** Visited on the 2nd opening day after a major snowstorm in the area. The person at the window was so nice and friendly. Okay, I had the veggie burger, which was quite good. Next time, I'll add cheese and avocado, and switch out the gluten-free bun for a different one. It looks like they make their own veggie burger, as it doesn't look processed. The onion rings were nice and crunchy although I have to remember to get ranch dressing. The cookies and cream milkshake was creamy and just the right consistency to use a straw. May I add that I really like their takeout bag? Even though it's a bit of a drive for me, I plan to visit again when it's warmer and I can sit outside.

I visited this place on our way to upstate and I’m absolutely in love! The place is so cute, with a charming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome. The dining area is in a little cute candy shop next to it and all the food packaging in it looks amazing. The food is fantastic—You have to try the burger and curly fries! But the real star of the show is the ice cream! It’s simply awesome, with a variety of flavors that are rich and creamy. My fav is the apricot and orange! I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend this spot!🥳

The ice cream here is so good! They need a bigger parking lot because clearly people seek cherries out for some great ice cream and it’s always packed. We had a root beer float, soft serve chocolate on a cone, and two milkshakes. They were all so delicious! The cherry on top is the new store next door, great items for kids and a great place for adults to unwind and escape the heat! Don’t skip, check them out!

What a great place! I had a cheeseburger with bacon and finally I got crunchy bacon the way I like it! My husband got a wrap and we got curly fries as well. After that we could not help it and got some ice cream. They have soft serve and their scoop ice cream is from Jane's and it is excellent! They have a new side building to eat inside when the weather is not nice and picnic tables for when it is. Definitely coming back and you should too!

This is not your average old school Hudson valley ice cream shop. They take care of you like they are, but they have a modern looking building and menu and great customer service. I’m on a keto diet so I got a burger and hot dog without buns. They might not look enticing from the pictures but they were great and fit right into my diet.

I had Larry’s Burger earlier today, and it was truly the best burger I’ve ever had. Perfectly caramelized patty on a soft roll, delicious aroma, and all the toppings were soooo good. I also loved the curly fries (they were crispy and not soggy, as can often happen with curly fries) and the Glampy Camper sundae I had was so tasty. The staff were also very nice and enthusiastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Great ice cream in great location with parking spots and tables to sit and enjoy the ice cream. I am a mint ice cream lover and I can ‘certify’ their mint chip ice cream is legit. Also, they offer a combo of soft serve ice cream and regular ice cream, which is the best of both worlds for soft-serve lovers.

Very cute spot! We just came for ice cream and tried the soft serve and homemade ice cream. Overall, really good ice cream, a little sweeter than we are use to from some of the ice cream from upstate farms but definitely good. I’m sure we will be back!

We love Cherries! Since the new owners took over a few years ago the ingredients and food have only gotten better. And the indoor space/bathroom was a perfect addition! Go to spot for weekend or after school fun.

The staff is so welcoming and patient!— it was a lovely stop by. I picked up some ice cream (mint and cookies + cream). It was good! More on the hard side and not “fresh” yet would recommend. I didn’t try anything else and everyone seemed to love it here! There was a line in 30-degree weather ;)

Honest foodie

I have past this place for years and have never tried it. We decided to stop last week and it was 15 minutes before closing and we’re not the only customers. The staff was too busy cleaning up to leave and only one person helping customers, and you could tell she didn’t want anymore customers. I ordered a hard ice cream that wasn’t so hard and not sure how that happened. Overall ice cream wasn’t impressive. I won’t go back.

Year round ice cream stand, very expensive and they don't do special requests anymore. Restraunts only been open for a few years and it's inconsistent. The chicken tenders & burgers where slightly undercooked.

Our family always loved Cherrie’s so much. When my 5 year old was finally feeling better from strep throat, she requested to make the 25 minute drive to Cherrie’s to celebrate. We arrived at the counter to order at 8:55 but the person working there refused to serve us. Such a huge disappointment. We won’t be back.
