Opinions de Lucifers Pizza Studio City
A very authentic place, the atmosphere is great. The pizza is delicious. The staff is friendly. The location is excellent. I recommend everyone to visit this place
Great pizza on Ventura Blvd.! Plenty of indoor and outside dining with its dark indoor appearance. Two available and clean restrooms for patrons. Great and swift service! Parking street only is an issue. Cost for an extra large pizza, Cesar’s salad and bottled soda & a $5 tip, $48.
Always pleased wherever I visit Lucifer’s Pizza. Invited some friends this time around and everyone was pleased. I do recommend you go try it out and check out the decor, pretty cool.
First time trying and PLEASANTLY surprised. A Hawaiian pizza was ordered which had coconut flakes on it which I’ve never seen anywhere (shockingly good). Also tried a pepperoni and olive pizza. Cant wait to try again.

The employees at lucifers pizza are nice, and efficient. Many a times I saw many pizza pick ups from customers and were left satisfied. It really has a goth atmosphere, with a touch of renaissance and red for lucifer. The cheese pizza there is delicious, and according to one of my colleagues the chicken wings were good too, however the dipping sauce not so much.
Obligatory, “you won’t find good pizza outside of Italy” comment up front here. But, for the modern version of American Pizza (not 1970 chain restaurant pizza) Lucifers is up there. I love the individual size pizzas and a few of their signature combos are top. (Spicy Italian, level 3 heat was my favorite) Protip: Don’t order the “margherita” if you are looking for a Naples style pizza. This has garden tomatoes and a salad on top. Not what you are looking for.
This location i found driving by after apartment hunting. It looked closed but I took a chance. They have the most amazing pizzas! I ordered the large Ring Burner which is a spicy pizza with jalapeño, pepperoni, mushrooms and basil and man...it's GOOD!). Crust isn't too thick, but very tasty. There are only 2 employees but the guy at the counter is very friendly and the young lady at the back really knows how to make a pizza. The place itself is clean with a few tables inside and out. There's classic photos of spooky movies and a word light that's hilarious but true to its statement. You have to visit to know what I'm talking about. The teramisu is really good too! It may be "Lucifers Pizza" but the food is heavenly!
My helper and i went for lunch today around 1230-1 this afternoon. We were met by 2 very nice employees. A young man and a woman. Sry didnt get their names. I think she was kinda new but did a good job. They made the food fast but a good fast. Of course we were the only folks at the time. Great service. Great attitudes and awesome food. I would definitely recommend them!
Was here for the Universal Studios. Decided to stop by and the pizza and breadsticks were delicious. Excellent service too. Will come here again when in the LA/Hollywood area. 👍

The pizza is creative from their menu. Personal or large sizes, great area to eat inside or outside. Pros: -Great place if you want a bit to eat and make your sauce spicy level. -Great environment Cons: -No parking -Must eat pizza fresh, not good when leftovers.

We went for the name, hoped for great pizza. Loved that they had a gluten free crust option. It was thin and crispy with decent flavor. The regular crust was pretty soggy and the toppings slid off the middle when you picked up a slice. Decent wings for a pizza joint! Also enjoyed the Caesar salad. Just hoped for a slightly less flop from the ‘za.

This review is specifically about their gluten free pizza. Virtually every pizza shop in this part of town I’ve had GF crust from tastes like this place, like they’re using a pre-made one? I do appreciate them offering a GF option but it’s made finding legit GF pizza in this town a huge pain.
Used to really like their pizza. Wings are still great. However the last two orders that were delivered have been a mess. Last order was totally wrong. And today’s pizza has raw dough and was the greasiest pizza I have ever eaten. Not sure what’s going on, but really disappointed.
Lucifer’s is so hit or miss, but today was really my last straw. We ordered a Large Soppressata pizza which LITERALLY only has Soppressata and basil. I open the pizza box, no basil. To top it off, the middle of the pizza was so soggy that the dough tasted basically raw. Also they literally never have salad??? I don’t understand why they don’t just take it off the menu bc the past few times I’ve ordered it the employee always acts like they ran out. Y’all didn’t run out you just never had it in the first place! Anyways I’ll prolly order from here again but it’s genuinely so mid and overpriced.
Maybe this is a Soup Nazi situation, and being mean to the customers is part of the appeal. If that's your thing, you'll love this place. If not, you should pick another pizzeria. We got there to pick up an order and the staff (multiple members) couldn't find the order. More importantly, they couldn't have cared less to find it and seemed angry that I was coming to pick it up. Eventually, they found the order and said it would be out. Order eventually came out about fifteen minutes later. Pizzas were cold. There was sauce literally dripping down a box, so much so that I had to ask for a napkin to clean my hands ans then the box. And they were really upset that I asked for the napkin. Try somewhere else, or order mulligatawny soup carefully, quietly, and move to your right.

It pains me to write this review. Lucifers was our go-to pizza shop, but no more. The last few times, our pizza has been dry and hard. This past weekend, we received the worst service and finally had enough. My daughter was having her first playdate, so we ordered pizza for the four girls. The pizza was cold, burnt, hard, and barely had any cheese. When I called to speak to the manager, her told me there was nothing he could do for me and that they did nothing wrong. What is this good customer service? NO! Now you have lost a loyal customer. Luckily Prince Street pizza just opened up down the block.
I ordered a veggie pizza and 6 wings Both the pizza and the wings were undercooked Especially the wings !!!!!! I had to finish cooking the pizza on the stove top This is the first time that lucifers has missed there mark on quality. Hopefully it’s just a one time mistake
Not good. Stale, doughy, tough to chew, bland. Costco pizza is better. Heck dominos is better. I guess the pizza is good if your in hell, hence the name.

Despite the name being pretty controversial (whether you’re religious or not), the pizza sucks here. The staff wasn’t rude to me, but they don’t seem happy. The place had “water downed” satanic vibe art inside. Weird place with crappy pizza.
I have had Lucifer’s multiple times and loved it. This time, I was absolutely disappointed as the dough was rubbery, cheese was rubbery, and overall was burnt.
First and last time for me - I Was told SO many good things about this and read SO many great reviews... Initially, I was drawn to the cool decor, but soon encountered an uncomfortable silence and awkward atmosphere, the employee wasn't welcoming or friendly, the restaurant was deserted, and no visible menu. Instead, we had to scan a sheet of paper sitting by the cash register with our phones to see the menu, but it lacked pricing and other information. Resorting to Google, I searched for the restaurant, navigated to some website with Lucifer's menu and pricing, only to discover the prices were likely inaccurate. When I ordered an XL pizza - Prosciutto Pollo, 2 bottled diet cokes, and 1 order of Cajun fries, I was charged a little over $50... I've never encountered such exorbitant pricing for mediocre service that felt cold and unwelcoming. Maybe we visited at a bad time? I Had to leave due to an emergency so I asked them to pack my order to go and didn't try the food there. I tried the fries on my way home and they were straight up BURNT and were absolutely disgusting, I didn't taste any "Cajun" at all just char. I was so mad I didn't even bother trying the pizza. $50 down the drain.
