With hours stretching until 2 AM, it’s a perfect destination for those who aren't ready to head home early. ​The Atmosphere & Service ​The standout feature of the night was easily the music. The DJ was on point, spinning a fantastic set of dance tracks that kept the energy high and the crowd moving. ​We were also really impressed with the service. Our waiter, Elijah, was fantastic—incredibly kind and impressively quick with both our food and drink deliveries. It’s rare to find such attentive service when the music is pumping and the house is full. ​The Drinks & Food ​The drinks were the highlight of the menu—absolutely delicious and well-crafted. However, the food was a bit more of a mixed bag: ​Nachos: While the flavors were fine, they were a bit sparse on the toppings. We would have loved a more generous helping of chicken and cheese. ​Fries: These were unfortunately a bit bland and could have used more seasoning or a signature flavor boost. ​Pizza: It was decent enough to snack on, but nothing particularly special or memorable. ​The Verdict: Come to Louie’s for the incredible drinks, the late-night dance vibes, and the top-tier service from staff like Elijah. I liked how they had outdoor seating and a spacious area. Bartender was good along with drinks. Conveniently located in the area too.

Great spot for a work get-together. They have back rooms for small parties or meetings which is super convenient. Food is good and prices are reasonable. Service isn’t 100% in my opinion though, for bigger groups the food comes out one by one instead of around the same time, and their system for tracking who ordered what could definitely be better. Overall 4/5

If all else fails bar Louie's gonna tell. They have some pretty great drinks and the food is absolute as well. The bar tenders are pretty slow and it's almost as if there's newbies behind the counter Everytime I go. The last time I went there was tourist trap with some guy taking pictures... Usually I'd complain about those kind of things but this one was actually pretty nice, he took beautiful photos of me and my lady and also had them framed in a very sleek frame. It's always freezing in there but other than that it's alright, whenever baker street fails this is what I'll lean on.

The food was great, however, service was slow despite it being slow. We went in around 7PM and it was so slow that the waitresses were laughing all together in a small group by the entrance. Despite seeing us, they lingered and it took them approximately 20 plus minutes to take our order. Once the food was out, they checked in us a total of maybe one time just to take our dishes out of the way and ask if we wanted dessert. Despite the service, everything was fine. I definitely went to go back in and try again.

The food is always delicious but the service outside can be a little slow. We don’t mind as we enjoy our nights out but just a heads up. Looks like they added some new things to the menu that looks delicious! The buffalo chicken flatbread is always delicious! Meh. Drink order was lost and messed up. Waitress was nice enough but probably over worked (we didn't see her that often) and likely very new. When Bar Louie opened it was awesome. After a relatively short time, it went downhill. It seems to this casual observer that the waitstaff is new every time we go and the quality of the food has also suffered. We WANT the Bar Louie that opened in SLTX with quality service and food. This store hasn't been that for years. We will continue to go for location and simple drinks - and our expectations will remain low until BL proves it has improved.

I visited the establishment for the first time today around 4pm. I saw a meal special that was too good to pass. It’s self seating,which is cool. Shortly after I sat at my chosen table,I was greeted by a server named Chelsea. She was polite and even informed me of some Monday specials,which was greatly appreciated. Where my experience became dampened was when I noticed that outside of Chelsea bringing my ordered items,she never verbally checked on me during my meal to see how my meal was,to refresh my water or suggest sale on any other items. Even when she brought the Toast handheld,she only asked if I was ready to pay. I gave her some helpful feedback because I see her potential,but I’m not sure when I may be back. Considering it was only a few patrons in the establishment,I would think there would’ve been just a bit more attentiveness. The food was delicious and so was my beverage.

This bar is a hit or miss. It's not nasty but it's decent if you need some finger foods and a drink. The drink was really strong so that's a plus. Honestly, I can't even remember what drink I ordered because what I wanted they didn't have. The chicken tenders were ok, not seasoned. Fries were hot and fresh so you can't go wrong with that. I had the beef sliders with Swiss cheese and tater tots. I wasn't a fan of the char broiled meat taste and my patties were really pink, I don't mind medium well patties but they were too soft. Ambiance was chill, bar vibe. You can watch the game and chill. Parking in front of the restaurant, I went on a Sunday so free parking. Wouldn't necessarily come back for the food but I'll go for the drinks and vibe for a happy hour.

Food was good. Skinny margarita was all lime juice, and when I asked to have it reviewed, the bar tender took the drink and asked the person who made it if they put tequila in it. He then brought it back and said the person who made it said she put the tequila in it. I then said, ok well then let’s add another shot. He took the drink and brought it back and said he added a shot. It still tasted like lime juice. No alcohol at all. Unfortunately, the bar has a lack of customer service. Our server did try to make it better, but she spilled our drinks while serving another table and gave me the same glass of wine that I literally watched spill. Maybe they all just need more training?

"I visited Bar Louie at CityWalk Sugar Land on January 5th at 9 PM with my family and was disappointed with the service. Despite arriving at a reasonable hour, we were not greeted by staff and had to seat ourselves. The drinks were good, but s ome of the food was served cold, and although our waitress was friendly, it was concerning to observe her and other staff members vaping in the presence of customers. As a paying customer, I expect a higher level of service and professionalism. I would like to request a refund for our visit. I hope management addresses this problem as soon as possible and I look forward to hearing from someone.

Beware! A group of five of us went here for happy hour. After we paid the bill, we realized that the waitress added a 20% gratuity. We didn’t realize that until we paid the bill with an additional gratuity. The waitress made out great but we won’t be back. Her service was a 3/5 and not deserving of the 20%.

I came in a Monday night, pretty much empty. Sited at the bar. The bar tender took her time to approach us, she was talking to some friends across the bar. We asked for a beer and then when we where ready to order she was gone form the bar. There were actually two girls as bartenders and both were gone. We asked the bar back to put it in but he told us he was not a bartender but he’ll let them know. Later on when they came back, some famous guy seated at the bar and they were focused on that. When we asked how long would it take for our food to come out, they said they didn’t have an order form us, I get it’s not the bar backs job at all but since he told us he was going to let them know we where chilling about it. Anyway in the order we also asked for a sangria and actually never got it, we asked what happened with it after the food came and she was like oh I told the other bartender to do it but do you want me to do it? And we just didn’t want it at this point. The food was amazing as always, I’ve been here a couple times and basically always get the same thing, I love it. The service has never been amazing but that night was terrible. The only time I’ve been served great here was also at the bar with a girl long brown hair who speaks Spanish. I’m a bartender and server so I’m usually very patient, but the place was basically empty and we had a hard time trying to get their attention (when they were in the bar) the food is great but please get better service

I can't speak to the food seeing as I sat there for 20 minutes plus without ever even being acknowledged by anyone. I watched as people that sat down after me got menus and had drink orders taken...finally got up and left. Food could be awesome and I'll never know cause I wont be back.

My friend and I visited extremely excited to experience martini Monday and received horrible service. We waited more than 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the very empty bar. After we placed our ordered, our server left our table to sit down, vape, and talk with a group in a booth on the other side of the bar. Our fries were cold when we received them, our drinks came after her conversations with friends, and I waited fifteen minutes just to get my check and pay. The overall experience has soured us on this place. Would not recommend.

First couple of times I dined here (years ago), I had horrible service. Here we are, trying to give it a redeeming chance years later (hoping things had changed), but no. We walked into the restaurant and not a server or bartender in sight (2pm on a Friday). Woman (who may have been a mgr) sitting on her computer sitting in a booth, clueless as to the table who had already been on the patio and just getting up to leave bc they had not been acknowledged in quite some time. We looked around, asked the other table why they were leaving and immediately decided to go elsewhere. Two tables left. You lost at least $200 in sales on a Friday and your reputation proceeds you. Sugarland won’t last much longer. Learn from State Fare….

Our server vaped openly while we waited for our food, drinks, and even our final bill. Even more alarming, the manager was seated in a booth with several servers, laughing, vaping, and ignoring customers altogether. This was not subtle or momentary — it was ongoing and blatantly unprofessional. What’s most concerning is that this behavior is clearly being tolerated, if not encouraged, by management. After reviewing past customer feedback, it’s obvious that these same issues have been reported before and are still not being addressed. The generic responses from Bar Louie only reinforce the lack of accountability. This is not the standard customers should expect from a national brand. Your customers deserve better than to be ignored, disrespected, and subjected to this type of environment. I feel strongly that I am owed a refund for this experience. If corporate leadership does not step in and correct this, it’s no surprise this location is heading toward closure. Appalled and extremely disappointed. Please do not advise for me to contact guest relations as this has already been reported. Im awaiting a response. I would appreciate a follow up from my two emails sent

I rarely write reviews, but I had to pull out the laptop for this one because the experience was that bad. My friends and I stopped in before a concert for food and drinks, and we had a feeling it would be a rough visit from the moment we walked in. We walked in with another party and we were all standing near the entrance, confused about whether to seat ourselves. The “Please seat yourselves” sign was tucked out of view, and it took a while before someone finally came out and told us to sit anywhere. We found a clean, empty booth with a to-go container on it. When we politely asked a passing server if it was available, she seemed annoyed and cleared it off without a word. After she bit our spirits with her negative energy, I suggested we leave. But, we already paid for parking, so we decided to shrug it off and stay (which turned out to be a mistake). Our server, Jarina, was prompt and friendly at first. However, when taking our food order, she didn’t write anything down. We immediately knew something would be missed, and sure enough our appetizer never arrived. The drinks were tasty but surprisingly weak for $14 each. The only redeeming part of the meal was the food itself, which was quite good. Jarina checked on us once or twice, but she and the other servers frequently disappeared into the back, chatting and laughing. Normally that wouldn’t be an issue, but we were on a tight schedule. When it was time to leave, we struggled to get her attention and finally had to interrupt their conversation to ask for the check. Overall, it was a disappointing visit. I’ve already told the friend who recommended this place not to suggest it again. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend Baker St Pub across the street instead.

Were there last night about 6:00. Place was dead, but still had to wait like 15 minutes before we were acknowledged and seated. The entire time, the servers were in the back vaping. Our glasses sat empty and no one came around. Were never offered food. Had to get up and go in back to find our server to get our check. Kept wondering who was in charge. Total disappointment. Will not be back.

Absolutely pitiful service. Home boy bartender has one job. Tend the bar!!!! We came 30 minutes after opening for lunch restaurant is dead. Tell me why it takes 10 minutes to ask us what we want to eat and drink. Then food takes forever for a lunch combo. Still haven’t received my drink. Fast forward I finally get my below avg chicken wrap. My drink needs a refill and so does my buddy. I flag the bar tender down again because he is no where to be found again why he’s not tending bar is beyond me. I ask him for refills and he only grabs my drink not my buddy’s drink which is bone dry. Fast forward again and he never refilled my buddy’s drink. His service reflected the gratuity he received. Sorry but will not be coming back again. The fact that nfl season week 1 just wrapped up and not one sports show was on tv is also crazy. Nothing but women day time shows on all the TVs.
