Upon arrival we were greeted as friends and shown our way to a private table where we felt treated as the most important guests. The ambiance was romantic, yet welcoming, a refreshing atmosphere for wonderful dining for a date, friends, or a whole family. We started with drinks of fresh mint leaf infused tea and fresh squeezed lemonade and both beverages sated our thirst while whetting our appetites. Our host was kind, not condescending and answered our questions about menu items helping us decide which way our evening meal would take us. We started with the appetizer platter which had the best hummus and stuffed grape leaves we've ever tasted. Fresh vegetables abound with delicious sauces beyond proper description but quite exquisite to say the least. Following appetizers we had a salad that was big enough for 3 or more people to share with the most delicate dressing. After that we tasted the crispy rice with multiple toppings. You could never hope to make such delicious food at home. For our entree we ordered the dinner platter of chicken koobideh, beef koobideh, and chicken kebab. This could've been called an extra value menu as it was enough food for 5-8 people to share. The kebab was the best we've ever tried and the koobideh brought our mouths to countries we could only hope to visit. After dinner, we pondered leaving but saw the desserts and had to have the faloodeh which was unlike anything you've ever tasted, like ice cream met it's gentler, more delicious cousin. We also ordered the pistachio saffron ice cream, I would like to use words to describe it, but I cannot, all I will say is the unique perfection of flavors brought tears to my fiancé's eyes. A perfect experience, perfect meal, and we left with more friends than when we walked in.

5/5! The food, service, cleanliness, menu options, everything! The Ghorme Sabzee here is hands down one of the best I've had, and I have it A LOT (other places). I am pretty sure there is no other staff as friendly as they are here. SO welcoming and kind. We also tried a combo koobideh plate with chicken, beef, and a side of salad. YUM. I loved the chicken. Tasty & juicy with a little bit of a kick. The beef was not as juicy, but the flavor was good. The portions are not very big, but still okay to share if you're getting a few things. Vala is a MUST try if you're in the area. They're located in a small shopping center with a parking lot available - huge plus for this area.

Vala kitchen has the best and delicious food. We came all the way from Orange County, ordered couple appetizers, lamb shanks, soltani, chenje , kabob barg was melting in your mouth. The service was very good, both owners were very friendly and polite Thank you for serving so good food 🙏🏻

One of the best Persian restaurants we’ve been to! We came in late on a Sunday night, but Sam, the owner, and his team were so kind to stay open a bit longer for us. The food was incredible — juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Even the salad was fresh and delicious. The place has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. You can tell they really care about their customers. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area!

The food was fresh and the flavors were balanced and gentle. I got the lamb shank and my friend got the falafel plate. The lamb shank was tender and juicy. The gluten-free falafel was crispy. The owner and staff were nice and attentive.

Been here a month or so ago and had to return with my wife. We started with the Dolmas (grape leaves). They were excellent. Next came the Fried Potato pastry wrap. It too was very good. Our main dishes came out. I had the Barg and Beef Koobedeh. My wife had the dark meat Chicken Kabob and the Chicken Koobedeh. The meats were flavorful and moist. We had enough for a take home meal. We also got the barberry rice. This is a must have. The restaurant hosts were very nice and checked in with us a number of times. All in all this is a great Persian restaurant.

Unbiasedly, better than Rafi’s (and not just because we share the same name). From the moment I walked in, the service made me feel like family—warm, welcoming, and genuine. Sam, the owner, was amazing and really made the experience special. The kebabs were on another level: tender, flavorful, and hands down the best I’ve had in the U.S. The appetizers were fresh and beautifully made. Every detail, from the food to the atmosphere, felt crafted with love and pride. If you’re looking for authentic Persian food that makes you feel at home, this is the spot. Easy 5 stars.

Today I visited Vala kitchen, drove about an hour to get there due to the reviews. I was so pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant was so beautiful, the the food exceeded the beauty of the restaurant. We tried several different dishes and one dessert. I can’t wait to come back! The service is superior and the owner is so kind and helpful. Blessings to this restaurant!

Easily the best Persian restaurant in CA, yes CA as California not just LA. We've been to Persian restaurants in LA, Orange County, San Francisco, San Jose and the greater Bay Area. None offer a combination of excellent authentic food, AND genuine hospitality. The level of care shown by owners of this family-run restaurant is evident the moment you step foot in their establishment. You're immediately greeted as if you're the guest of honor and that continues until you step out; the food takes you to another level, you will remember the meal weeks after dining here. I cannot recommend this highly enough. My thumb is already hurting typing this, so do yourself a big favor and go try it for yourself to find out!

I had the Thai Chili Shrimp appetizer with a Thai Chicken Salad and it was delicious. Service was excellent and really enjoyed our lunch. Bread is only available per request before 5p. I haven't been in awhile and was glad I asked so be mindful if you are not a regular patron. I'm kicking myself for not remembering thewo derful woman that took care of us. Take care of raise who take care of you while patronizing restaurants. Will definitely be back!

We celebrated my daughter. Service was wonderful. Our waiter was perfect to handle our large table. Love the Memorial City location because of the yard between the restaurants. Love having somewhere that children can go play and have fun. I will say, prices have gone up and portions have gone down, particularly the cheesecake slices. The slices are so thin they can't stand up in the container. And I think they've changed some recipes because the turtle and oreo slices tasted off a bit. Overall we still had a good time. The waiter was wonderful.

I have frequented this restaurant numerous times, but hadn't had the opportunity to provide feedback until now. Upon visiting late one evening, despite the crowded atmosphere, the staff efficiently arranged seating. Our server demonstrated exceptional helpfulness and friendliness. Food arrival was prompt; however, there was errors with our orders. Fortunately, we were accommodating diners and didn't mind. Notably, the mushroom burger and chicken alfredo were outstanding. Huge selection of cheesecakes. Overall, this establishment offers a casual, average dining experience.

I waited at the curbside pickup for over 10 mins and no one brought my order. After calling to advise I was waiting, I was told it would be out soon and waited another 7 minutes and decided to walk inside to pick up. Cheesecake was great as always always!

Let’s get right into it. Upon walking in, the doors are super heavy, causing strain if not ready to pull on the door. I had to help an older lady out. So walking in you have to look for the hostess stand ahead.. it’s tall, and no one is there, the front is crowed due to the cheesecake to go orders. So they maybe don’t know you are standing there waiting to be seated or standing around waiting for to go cheesecake. As workers pass by one had his finger twisting his braid on his scalp, and he went straight to getting out cheesecake for customers. They didn’t see him walking from the kitchen to the cheesecake area like I did because I was standing at the hostess stand. He didn’t wash his hand nor sanitize.. he just kept messing with his scalp, and braid or dread? So finally someone comes to seat us. The brown bread I know it’s good, but the other bread was hard as a rock, we ordered apps, and per the waiter’s request they said “wait to see if the app food is good to see if you want to order anything else” all that did was make me question if the food was good or not. I have been to a Cheesecake Factory before, but not this one in particular. So I saw another worker also messing with his dread or braid, just walking around looking lost. I don’t know why management doesn’t tell them have some respect, wash your hands, or don’t play with your dread just walking around the dining area. What I did order was good.. but the lolly gagging, slow walking, dragging feet, and doing nothing but messing with their scalp while we ate was disrespectful. The cheesecake is too soft it needs to be addressed, and maybe get an authentic base first before any toppings are out on. The classic cheesecake is small I don’t know why, you can see how small it is compared to the others next to it. For the price for a slice, it’s a no. I will update this review if I see any improvement. This store is on the list, so my job is almost done. I travel to save you time, and money… my following knows that.

Visited The Cheesecake Factory recently and tried quite a few dishes everything was delicious! The Shrimp Alfredo Pasta was rich and creamy, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Pineapple Shrimp and Fried Shrimp were both amazing crispy, fresh, and seasoned just right. The Mac & Cheese Balls were a total comfort bite cheesy and satisfying. The Cucumber Salad was a standout too good, too good, too good, too good! Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. The Nachos were okay, not bad but not a must-try. And the Crab Bag (or Crab-based dish) was also really good, flavorful, and filling. everything tasted fresh and well-prepared definitely a place where you can try a variety of dishes and rarely go wrong. I’ll be going back for that Cucumber Salad alone! To end the meal, I had the Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake, and it was absolutely divine rich, perfectly spiced, and the ideal balance of pumpkin and pecan.

The pasta was a bit on the dry side, but overall I had a good experience. The atmosphere had great vibes, and it was an enjoyable place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Food was okay. I had a big party so wait wasn’t bad for the amount of people with that being said took about another hour for the food to show up. Served got ticket wrong and food left a lot to be desired. Went for my daughter birthday wasn’t too impressed

It was my sons birthday today and all he wanted was to go to Cheesecake Factory and he loves cheesecake. Sadly to say, we never got a cheesecake. We sat down and service took 5 minutes to get to us. I ordered the calera wine and my mom ordered the New Zealand. The wines tasted like they’ve been opened for several weeks. I drank mine and didn’t complain because my mom already complained about hers but I should have asked them to just take it away. My sons milkshake took 10 minutes to come out. Our drinks came out before his, and it’s his birthday and he’s turning 9 today. My mom had the filet mignon and it came out with around 5 pieces of steak in a sauce. And I ordered the ribeye. It was a really thin cut that cost $45. Before we ordered, we looked at the menu, we contemplated and I didn’t want to eat there but since my son loves cheesecake, we decided to stay. We brought our own cake. The plan was to say happy birthday with the cake we bought and eat a cheesecake afterwards. The service was lagging and there was a lack of initiative. We didn’t want to leave because we had a whole bunch of gifts for my son to open. The whole reason we came to the Cheesecake Factory was for a cheesecake and never got one. We probably wouldn’t have bothered buying one but honestly don’t even know how it would taste given the facts previously mentioned. My mom was very upset. There was a lack of empathy and I understand our server is young but it came off as very ignorant.

Service tonight was not good at all. My appetizers were room temperature and when I finally received my food after almost an hour wait the food was not hot at all and you could tell it's been sitting around. I ended up sending my food back and going someplace else for dinner. My wife ate most of her cold food because we sat so long she was hungry. The server should have checked on us on a regular basis and giving us updates but that didn't happen either. This was definitely not a good experience but I will definitely give them one more try in the future. II tip very well and I am a stickler for food and service because I pay for it. Unfortunately, I left hungry and did not eat anything. Please know I did inform the managerif the sisuation and gave us a slice of cheesecake. I am not happy mainly with the kitchen and the server

Ok the service was really good I can’t lie my appetizer was good and my margarita was good my food was not fresh at all…. Now I did pay for it but I didn’t eat it and as a server, if someone doesn’t eat the food u shouldn’t charge them for it but maybe he was a rookie either way I won’t be back I left more then 20% but I was not satisfied at alll and I will not be back!!! You were good Yader but cmon man DO BETTER!!!! (The food is trash) so many places better I’d rather go to Cheddars

I just finished giving birth to my second child. I asked my husband to get me an impossible burger from here with no cheese. I opened the burger and to my surprise, there was a yellow square where the cheese used to be. And they had put it on the bottom so you wouldn’t see it unless you picked up the whole patty. I guess refiring the order would have been too much huh? I scraped the cheese remnants off the burger and bottom bun because I had no choice. So sad that a second time mom had a terrible first meal after baby.
