First off , Tamana was a great server! She was very friendly and helpful. We came to the restaurant because we saw it on the incline app. It was a cute restaurant looked very nice. Good experience and wonderful way stuff. Couldn't tell you the names of the grilled chicken was great and the goat fried rice was also nice. Definitely check it out !

Today my first visit of Mai Colachi Restaurant and I am very surprised about the delicious food, it’s very hard to find this kind of taste. I am very happy to spend my money and time in right place. Also all staff very kind and friendly. I would recommend other people of all over Houston and my friends and family to must visit here. You will not going to be regret.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Houston. I think it compares to the other very well known Pakistani restaurant named Agas in everything but bbq (at the time I went.. they could have got better). I think a lot of the times people think that Pakistani food is just very spicy, but it's actually very deep with flavor and I don't only want just high levels of spice. And I feel like they get that here. I really like the white colachi curry with chicken, and their naan is fluffy and delicious. I like how they bring the pot to the table. Their kabobs are good. Their mango laasi is also fantastic! It's definitely not as big as the other place, but I like that, it feels more cozy and small. My number one thing is having good customer service and they have great customer service, and it felt very intimate.

By far Mai Colachi is one of the finest desi restaurant in Houston / Sugar land area . I had them cater my wedding with 500+ people in May 2024 and I had them cater my son’s wedding 500+ people Jan 2025 and Sheryar (owner) goes above and beyond my expectation. He has catered 5 or more events for me and he is my go to restaurant.

Very inexpensive. Not pretentious at all. Very humble but restaurant is richly decorated. Food came in a "wok" type container. Not great at presentation but I tell you what. The food is simple, but out of this world! The best butter nan I have ever had. Chicken melted in my mouth. I came back for the second time within the same week. Husband and I, we over ordered but everything was delicious. Samosas beef and veggie, chili prawns (awesome), lamb chops (awesome), chicken in a sauce don’t remember the name, and rice, all delicious; White table cloths, great service, highly recommend.

Very tasty Ramadan buffet! Be sure to have reservations! Pesharwa chicken karai, beef nihari, tadka daal, hot chai... Yummy halwa and other desserts... 😋 Mai Colachi is a nicely appointed restaurant with a surprisingly large seating area and courteous waitstaff. If you've been there before, then you know that it is good. If you haven't been there before, give it a try. 👍🏻

I should have come here much sooner. I love this place. The ambience is lovely, the food is SO GREAT, and the staff is attentive without over hovering. We ordered the following dishes: -Chicken malai boti The chicken skewer was a little salty, but with the tangy tamarind (?) sauce it was so good. However, it is unbelievably juicy and tender I can’t believe they used chicken breast. 8.3/10 -White Colachi Curry with goat Saucy, creamy, curry without the underlying tomato base. The mutton was very tender, but I couldn’t get enough of the sauce. The karahi pot was huge! Could feed like 3 people. 9.8/10 -Garlic Naan Crispy and just thin enough and fragrant and it’s probably the best naan I’ve ever had 😭 10/10 -Herb Rice Just the right texture and moisture I have no complaints 8/10 -Rasmalai I haven’t had good rasmalai in so long this was such a treat for a good price. 9.2/10 I can’t wait to come back!

We can hear on a Sunday for their Brunch Buffet and it was amazing. The person seating us was friendly and was quick to seat us. The food was amazing Pakistani breakfast/brunch with Meat and vegetarian options. We also had halwa puri and cheesecake and other desserts. Most importantly we had chai and it was a perfect meal. Good food, Good ambiance & Good service, priced reasonably.\nRestrooms were clean. only complaint is that sad elevator music should change. Great place for family dine outs.

In general it was ok but since it was a buffet I expected more dishes. There should have been biryani & at least one salan. The roast chicken was very basic and the vegetables rice did not make sense. The Quesadillas & chicken pasta felt like I was at a Mexican/italian restaurant. I missed all the Indian/Desi food. To be honest I did not had the greatest of experience since it was my first visit. Next time I rather go elsewhere since other similar restaurants keep a fair menu selection. Even your desert selection was not up to the mark.

The food was tasty and warm ambiance and attentive service made the experience even better.. Mr. Sikhender's hospitality was truly commendable.
