An absolutely amazing Sushi experience with many original and hard to find delicacies. FRESH is an understatement. However... it may have been the late hour but the service was lacking at the very best. Repeatedly had to ask for food items they forgot. Ate my salad and soup last. But the Uni made up for it all.

Dropped by Aki Sushi & Ramen during a tournament, and wow, what a treat! The place is sparkling clean, setting the perfect vibe for a great meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome with their warm service. We tried the Shaggy Dog Roll, Caterpillar Roll, Tiger Eye, Lion King, and the Happy Hour Special Wagyu Roll—every single one was a flavor explosion! Fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The Wagyu Roll was a standout, especially during happy hour. We’re already excited to come back for more. Highly recommend this spot for sushi lovers!

I was surprised that everything we ordered was delicious! The happy hour menu has many items on it that are delicious like the lo mein, sushi, and drinks. The food was so good I actually went twice in one week! The menu has many items to choose from.

Great place. Had no wait, walked in and were seated immediately. We tried the spicy salmon roll, honey moons (deep fried jalapenos with cream cheese and crab), and spicy shrimp ramen. All of them were delicious! The service was great and it has a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

This place is truly magical. The atmosphere was truly the best, it was very aesthetically appealing. The food was awesome and tasted delicious and fresh. I recommend the Spicy Salmon Roll with Maki A. The service was also good, as the food arrived in minimal time and they made no mistakes in our order. Overall, this place is awesome and I definitely would come back here again!

This place has been a mainstay in sugarland for a long time. It’s great. It’s also very very consistent. You know the quality and the freshness will always be there. Great sushi and don’t sleep on their Chinese menu!

I recently stumbled upon a new sushi place at First Colony Mall and it left me totally impressed. This hidden gem not only boasts plenty of seating, but also offers no wait time - a rare find, right? The standout feature for me was the impeccable service - our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the food - the sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh, and the tasty fried rice was a real crowd-pleaser. Not to mention, the portion sizes were surprisingly generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. Overall, I had such a fantastic experience that I couldn't wait to recommend this place to you.

The atmosphere was.nice..the music was fun and not to loud. The menu was HUGE! So many different choices. One thing i loved was that almost every dish had a picture for easy identification of what to expect. I loved that. I eat with my eyes 👀 Service was great. Our first waiter left and another waiter took over. A small gap in between that but otherwise amazing job. The manager even came and checked herself to make sure food and everything else was up to our standards. The food we ordered was amazing. 10/10 well worth the price.!!! The sushi was so fresh and well prepared. I had the best piece of otoro I've ever had. Would drive the 3.5hrs to Houston just for this restaurant. ✨️

Service is good. Food just so so. Not that bad not the ramen soup base is concentrated powder. Fish is fresh. But smoke salmon is overcooked.

Another good sushi place in Houston, but does not match the gold standard - Mafia Sushi. Still, its pretty good and definitely an upgrade over a lot of other options.

We chose this place based on the strong reviews. The interior has a nice, modern lounge-style atmosphere, and the service was friendly, though the staff were not very knowledgeable about the menu or the ingredients. The nigiri was decent. However, the spicy salmon had a strange metallic aftertaste, and we ended up leaving the last piece on the plate. The hichiban chicken was disappointing. The portion was very small, and while it was spread thinly across the plate to make it look more substantial, the dish itself lacked flavor and felt uninspired. Overall, the place looks good and the service is pleasant, but the food quality and execution did not quite live up to the expectations set by the reviews.

So I have been here twice! I came back for the sushi. It was sooooo goood. But I just don’t know if I would came back again because the service was absolutely terrible. I sat at the empty bar, while the bartender made drinks and completely ignored me until the waitress came around and gave me a menu. I was finally able to order with the bartender. And then he disappeared for a good while until he would randomly pop up again. I would look across the restaurant and see the waiters huddle together talking with the bartender. I get my sushi and it was delicious I eat and I’m ready for my check finally wait like 20 minutes for him to finish talking and come check on me and then ask for the check. Then he just never comes back. So eventually I had to walk over to where they were huddle talking and pay there. The sushi was really good but service was severely lacking.

Pros: good dessert, tasty ramen broth Cons: tough chewy meat, ramen toppings are bad, lackluster service The beef tongue was tough and chewy. The ramen broth was good, but everything else about the ramen was bad; the meat was tough and chewy, the eggs tasted like they'd been pulled straight from a freezer without being reheated, bamboo shoots tasted like they'd been stored soaked in fish sauce. While it was somewhat busy, it wasn't THAT busy, so the fact that we were mostly ignored with waitresses rarely coming to check on us was kinda bad. The manager was great, I feel bad that she had to come over to us. The sad thing is, as bad as this place is, it's still the best eatery in this mall complex. I still can't recommend it.
