Melanie was Wonderful. The place was wonderful. The food was wonderful. She served a party of two by herself. Cooked and served. 10/10
Great food and great service. The Buldak tacos were amazing, and the girl with green hair who helped me was wonderful. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Great flavors all around!! The owner and chef was very friendly and explained the menu to us, we got a few different options and everything was original and packed with flavor! Can’t wait for this little spot to expand! Excited to see what’s coming for them!
The food here is outstanding fusion of Asian and Mexican. The only drawback was that the taco shells tend to fall apart, so you have to use a fork. The woman who helped us was very friendly and kind.
My sister and I adore this place. I haven’t been the same since I tried their Buldak taco! A must try! Everything is delicious! My new favorite food spot! The owner and chef is so kind and talented as well. The food is prepared with such presentation and care. Don’t forget the Taiyaki for desert!
We happened upon this restaurant in the Eat Up food hall while in El Paso for an afternoon. This is hands down the best Asian-Mexican fusion food I have ever eaten. I’m often disappointed by fusion food, feeling like there isn’t quite a marriage of the flavors, but this place NAILED it. You can actually tasted the Thai, Mexican, Vietnamese, Chinese flavors. I got the pho rib taco, Buldak taco and steak laab taco, all 3 blew my socks off. My partner got the orange chicken fusion bowl that comes in a flour tortilla bowl with rice beans and elite. I wish we had taken pictures because it was also beautiful, but we couldn’t wait to start eating! If we are ever back, we will absolutely coming back to eat at Mi Asian. 10/10
always a pleasure coming here with my mom as Chef always takes care of us ! 💖 (we visit weekly it’s too good) #1 fave is the pho rib but it always sells out so don’t come too late 😭 other favorites include the steak that has a toreado (my mom & bf love this) and i also love the shrimp that has pineapples & a sweet sauce and buldak which comes with chicken and an egg! boba is amazing and the refreshers as well follow their instagram to see pictures and other things they offer including workshops for you & your loved ones
A Love Letter to Tacos Have you ever seen When Harry Met Sally? You know that scene—the one that made an entire restaurant pause in awe? That was me, except it wasn’t for dramatic effect. It was a genuine, involuntary reaction to these tacos. I ordered one of each: Pho Rib, Shrimp Gochujang, Spicy Buldak, and Steak Laab—a lineup so strong it deserves its own cinematic universe. Each bite was a masterclass in flavor, so choosing a favorite feels like picking a favorite child (impossible, yet somehow I went back for seconds of the Pho Rib and Spicy Buldak). This meal was so good, I feel spiritually indebted to the chef. May their pillow always be cool on both sides. May they find front-row parking spots for eternity. May their lineage prosper for generations. Oh, and the service? Just as delightful—warm, attentive, and kind. Five stars, an enthusiastic standing ovation, and an immediate plan to return.
Mi Asia brings an innovative fusion of Asian and Mexican flavors that will blow your mind! We tried the Squid Game-inspired bento box and it was awesome- innovative and delicious. The pho taco tasted exactly like a rich, flavorful bowl of pho, but in a taco! The Buldak taco packed a spicy punch. The brown sugar milk tea was refreshingly creamy and sweet. What really made our experience stand out, though, was the owner's hospitality. Despite being the only one working, she was friendly, welcoming, and impressively efficient. Can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.
Really unique taco recipes, I haven't found many Asian inspired tacos! My favorites are the Pho taco and the Gochujang. I also had a lemonade and a boba that were refreshing. There is a comfortable setting with many tables, but I ate my meal on the couch 😌. Give this place a try, I'll definitely be back for more. Thanks for exsiting!
The food is not really worth the price. Its cute, and like the creativity but its laking in flavor, and it taste like it would be fast food, but for it tasting like fast food, the service took too long for a one person order. Love the idea behind it, but could definitely be better.
The place looks like a food court at a mall, pretty cozy with TVs playing cartoons. You could study here. The food, the spicy Korean sandwich was very good but incredibly expensive. They also ran out of food so got a refund for part of my order. Downside is they are not upfront about charging extra for card payments despite me using debit. They also do not have enough workers. Why not have one upfront and one in the back? The lady was incredibly nice. Just wayyyyyyy too much in costs.
This place seemed promising with an interesting menu, but unfortunately, it's lacking in execution. For $5 each, tacos were on the smaller side. The tortillas were thick and doughy and tasted unpleasant. I don't think they were cooked through. The pho rib was the best filling. The shrimp were not deveined, and the buldak taco was topped with an egg that had a mucousy, runny white.
If you go here, call before going to make sure they're open. Even if you're ordering online and the website and storefront say they're open. The food is great. We almost left the first time because there was no sign and the girl at the counter saw us but never greeted us or offered to help. We saw 2 thin paper menus eventually so we did order- the girl at the counter barely said anything. I've only tried it once, because the last 2 times I tried, the place was either closed during operating hours or I was taken to the wrong ordering portal. I placed an order online (9/19/25) that was routed to the wrong order website, so they had to refund me (and they never offered to redo the order or anything or make any attempts to apologize for the old site being active). The 2nd time I tried an online order (11/10/25) at the right site, it took my money and the order but the place was closed even though it was a Monday at 1pm. The hours were clearly posted outside the restaurant this time, but it was closed. The owner never responded, I had to get a refund from Menufy. I wanted to like this place, but I can't go again. To be fair, I saw a review or two being critical about the atmosphere. The building is like a big mall food court with a common area for everyone. I think the tables and chairs are more from the building owner rather than the shops. I could be wrong. But I wouldn't fault them for the atmosphere.
It’s a nice spot, but it definitely needs a bit more design and personality. It’s great for working or studying since it’s close to schools, but I’d love to see some comfy couches, coffee tables, games, or even a small reading area. The menu could also use more variety—the food feels a bit limited. Hopefully, it’s still new and growing, and by next year it’ll be even better!
My family and I ate there a few months ago and it was fantastic! Went again a few weeks ago and it was horrible!!! The first time we went I believed we were served by the owner. This time it was a younger lady who was sweet but that only counts for so much. It was a Saturday around 1115am. We ordered taiyaki, we were told they don't have it on Saturdays because that's when they clean the machine. Hmm, ok, my Son was INCREDIBLY disappointed, it was soo excited to try it. We ordered our tacos and potstickers and the chicken with rice. We wait 38 minutes for our food. They are "out" of the rice, hmm, really? At 1115am. And, uhh, why weren't we told that when we ordered? The tacos were "okay". Nothing like the first time we went. We got a Nutella crepe from their neighbors who had everything available on the menu. I can't think of a reason we would make a special trip there to give them another chance.
