A hidden gem in Sunnyside! I’ve been to El Pilon Bakery many times, and it never disappoints. It’s a small, cozy spot that’s always buzzing with people, which says a lot about how loved it is in the neighborhood. My go-to favorites are the beef empanadas (both fried and spinach options are great), the pandebono, and the cambrayas—everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently good. And the hot sauce 😋 Beyond the food, the ambience is warm and inviting, and the staff is always incredibly friendly. It’s one of those places that just feels good to walk into. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

El Pilon Bakery is another Colombian spot I really enjoy. Everything I’ve tried from the menu has been delicious, and the food is definitely worth coming back for. The only downside is that the location is small and it gets busy, especially because it’s in a high-traffic area. Sometimes you may have to wait for a table or step outside until space opens up. I’ve waited around 20 minutes before, but honestly, the food made it worth it. Good food, busy little spot, and definitely worth checking out if you’re patient.

The bakery products are good but one of the ladies that works there has a very unpleasant attitude. She seems upset all the time and very miserable doing her job. The owner should speak to her or find someone nicer to people. Los productos de la panadería son ricos, pero una de las señoras que atiende tiene una actitud horrible, es como si siempre estuviera enojada y por seguro es muy infeliz haciendo su trabajo. El jefe debería pedirle que fuera más amable o si no contratar a una persona más amable.

La comida y la atencion excelente pero necesitan mejor el sistema de aire acondicionado. Es como estar almorzando en un sauna

Durante un tiempo he comprado en este sitio, la comida no es mala, sin embargo el servicio hoy en día deja mucho que desear, en estos días fui a comprar una bandeja carne desmechada y me preguntaron de que quería la sopa y dije de pollo, cuando llegue a casa me habían dado el complemento con pollo y no lo que deseaba que era carne desmechada y la ensalada tiene un aspecto terrible. Llamé y me dijeron que no podían cambiar nada. Pésimo servicio.

Si pudiera no le daría ninguna estrella. cuando reclamé porque los precios están alterados en la carta la empleada Reaccionó groseramente Los precios originales los taparon con una cinta y escribieron unos precios con lapicero más altos y al solicitar la cuenta también cobran más de los que está escritos con lapicero doble Alteración de precios la ley De el consumidor dice Al momento de pagar usted encuentra una etiqueta de más bajo precio debajo de otra de más alto precio usted está supuesto a pagar el precio menor.
