luv this super market. they even got other baker, hot food, and clothing vendors inside. not mention lots of cute stuffies. their banch chan it a bit pricey, but good selection. they even got dried cuttle fish. I go here for their premarinated spicy pork. short rib kalbi is good, its 12.99 /lb. u have to look at the labels, some would be 16.99. I believe its b/c of smaller portions.

My favorite Korean supermarket. Prices are reasonable. Their produce us very fresh and sushi price is great too. Great Kimchi selection. Plus if you buy over a certain amount they give you free gifts like i.e. individual serving size seaweed packs

Clean! Selections! Location Hankook Supermarket is, without a doubt, the best Asian grocery store in the South Bay. See how many different types you can find on pretty much every Asian culture staple - RICE! You get different types white or brown, less than $9.99 for a 15-lb bag, this is cheaper than what Costco can offer on a per pound basis. **NOTE** With the current Trump waging tariff wars against many Asian countries, I'd stock up on these $8.99 15-lb bags of rice, it's bound to shut up sooner or later‼️‼️ Other Asian staples such as tofus are $1.29 (versus $1.69 elsewhere), one of my favorites is fish cakes that I add often to instant ramen are $6.99 (regularly $9.99) for a 2-lb bag, there are always several specials to be had. You can't find better prices on toasted sesame oils which are frequently displayed at the front of the store right in front of the cash registers. Speaking of convenient Instant Noodles, despite it's a Korean supermarket, in addition to many popular Korean ones (幸 @$2.99 for a 5-pk bag EVERYDAY ‼️‼️‼️）, that's not surprising; what IS truly amazing is that they got better prices on instant noodles from China/HK/Taiwan than Asian supermarkets like Ranch 99 or Marina Market.

I was shocked, Update, this happened on Friday, August 30th, 2024 between 7-7:30pm. when I went into the restroom to pee, someone was in the stall and it was really loud. The sound of pulling out the toilet paper was loud, and even if it came out, He left the rest room without washing his hands. The person in was an employee of the store, and even brought a black apron into the private room. Surprisingly, the Spanish-speaking employee worked in the meat department. The employee took a poop, left the room without washing his hands, and even brought his apron into the room. I was traumatized. I couldn't buy any meat that day. I will never forget the face of that Spanish speaking employee, I am still in shock. Store managers and owners, please retrain your employees to wash their hands after pooping. When the cashiers were all crowded, there was one place where no one was lining up, so I went there and understood why there were no people lining up. The elderly Korean female cashier was completely silent.That may be normal in her home country, but this is America, so surely it's okay to at least say thank you? I don't ask for excessive service, but when I buy something, it's normal to say thank you. It's a Korean 🇰🇷 market, but they also sell Asian food, Japanese, Chinese, and of course American food.There are ingredients I've never seen before, so it's really fun. There is a wide variety of rice available, and I always have trouble deciding which one to buy.There is a wide variety of vegetables, meat, and fish. There is also a wide variety of frozen foods.Every time I go, I have a hard time deciding what to choose.Also, there is a wide variety of tableware, and there are things I've never seen before, which makes it fun.Prices seem to be set reasonably low, and seasonal items are especially good value for money.

Although the store is spacious, the aisles are wide and the shelves are low, so there are not many items. Vegetables are cheaper than K-Mart. So there are more customers than other Korean-super markets on the weekends.

Wide variety of Korean products. Bakery items are pretty okay, though they tend to be a little dry. Service is decent. A fan of the samples. I love that this place is super, super clean and organized.

While many of the packages don’t include English descriptions, the images on the packaging help give an idea of what’s inside. The prices are generally lower than other Asian markets in the area. The store itself is spacious, with products neatly organized and clearly displayed, making it a pleasant place to browse and shop.

Huge place.a lot of variety in everything in terms of Asian food. Got fruits n sea food.Sea for was cleaned n cut well as per instructions.Had to spend a long time looking for 1 item .There are shops selling Korean items inside the store which seemed to b pricy for the items sold.Other than that the cashier was friendly n polite but another person working there had a stern no smile face.

There are a lot of Asian (especially Korean) food. fruits, vegetables, and munchies available, although many of the packages have no English descriptions. One has to look at the pictures printed on the packages to guess what is inside. The prices are cheaper than the other Asian supermarkets. The supermarket has a very large space and therefore all hundreds of merchandise items are neatly organized and displayed. Good place to browse and shop.

Clean and spacious. Large variety of Korean groceries. The meats look high quality. The live fish tanks were empty. I bought a pack of uni sashimi. Even though it showed “packed today”, the uni tasted fishy and smelled slightly stinky. Definitely won’t be buying that again. The salmon sashimi didn’t taste super fresh but was decent fresh. They have two types of packaging. The one that has a whole piece where you have to cut into slices yourself is a lot less expensive than the box with pre-cut slices. I was able to find a pack of beef short ribs without large pieces of fat inside. Note that the un-marinated short ribs are slightly more expensive than the pre-marinated ones, probably because only the un-marinated ones are USDA Choice. It’s very easy to grill these at home. Each side only takes a few minutes. I just used salt and pepper to season it. Tasted very chewy. Looking forward to tasting the frozen noodle lunchboxes!

I was staying nearby so I stopped in. I got a great deal on rice noodles, a can of Spam and some fruit for the drive home.

Love this place, and i hope my review will help them to improve kitchen. I am a frequent customer who buys their side dishes made of vegetables. And found this small aluminum while i was eating the ‘Seasoned Yu Chae’ and got disappointed. But I hope it will be better soon.

I was highly disappointed by their customer service because of one female bagging staff who works at the cashier. I paid $540 for my parents' grocery and my grocery. They gave us only one calendar …

Good place to get groceries - but NEVER buy anything there that you may need to return. They will argue about use and all sorts of nonsense for even the most mundane return - acting like you're stealing from them even when you are a regular customer. Horrible customer service.

The cashier was rude and impatient. After we finished paying, my wife picked up one more item. Instead of simply explaining what to do, the cashier grabbed the item and said “Oh my god” in an annoyed tone. That was very disrespectful. Customers deserve basic courtesy, no matter how busy the store is.

DO NOT BUY FISH HERE! I bought a box of yellow cracker last weekend. After I eat some of them, I feel stomachache badly. I realize that this box of fish has already gone bad. I go to the store to return this. The staff declined because I didn’t return at the same day of purchase. How come I am able to return this at the same day when I feel stomachache and need to take rest. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! BE CAREFUL!
