Opinions de Sunright Tea Studio Sunnyvale
Sorry it’s a sad photo. We did a door dash group order for 8 drinks and I forgot to take a photo. They were quick to make it and pass to dasher. Drinks were all super good. I always try the milk tea non dairy half sweet with boba and agar boba(if they have it) to compare. It was so good and would totally order again. The cups are really thick and good quality.
Been coming for boba tea for more than a year, both quality of tea drinks and service have been consistent, and I enjoyed my experience at Sunright. Often time I see groups of people standing outside and chatting, wish owner'd invest in outdoor seating for patrons to sit in. Doing so it'd help build a boba culture and a community with a more comfortable social interaction. The in-store atmosphere is vigorous and spunky. The seasonal Halloween decoration is back to being normally spooky, comparing to the jesting 6-feet distance stickers last year. :) I recommend the pumpkin spice series in the season as new items. The taste is very balanced. I also like the fact you can customize sugar level and ice level. Give them a try.
Sunright Tea Studio in Sunnyvale is an absolute gem for anyone craving a top-tier bubble tea experience! From the moment you step in, the vibrant and welcoming atmosphere sets the stage for a delightful visit. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient, always ready to help navigate their extensive and creative menu. What truly sets Sunright apart is the incredible quality of their drinks. Their teas are brewed to perfection, offering a balanced and refreshing base for any creation. I'm particularly fond of their Sunright Boba Milk Tea – the brown sugar boba is always perfectly chewy and the milk tea is incredibly smooth. Their Oreo Brulee Boba Milk is also a standout, a decadent treat that perfectly blends creamy goodness with crunchy Oreo bits. They truly pay attention to detail, from the freshness of their ingredients to the ability to customize sweetness levels, ensuring every drink is made "just right." Whether you're a boba veteran or new to the scene, Sunright Tea Studio offers an unparalleled experience in Sunnyvale. It's my go-to spot for a delicious and uplifting pick-me-up!
Good prices and good drinks. Service was fast. Ordered thru a monitor, card only and they've a table at the entrance. On the left: Strawberry Jasmine w/cheese foam. The drink itself was good, actually strawberry puree, tho the cheese foam was a tad on the sweet side for my mom. On the right: Oreo Brulee Boba Milk. This was really good. The boba seemed fresh because the bottom was really warm. Boba was soft and chewy. The brulee part they describe as a foam.. I'd say it's a thick foam- very nice (tho urban ritual's brulee is still better). The oreo part isn't just a dusting; there's actual pieces of it. I ordered with no ice, and for me, even tho I like the sweet stuff, without mixing, I would add just a little ice (less ice), but after mixing, it was pretty solid. Both drinks were under $12; strawberry jasmine = $4.75 + $1.00(cheese foam), oreo brulee boba = $5.85.
One of my new favorite boba places. Really good boba! One thing to note is you should order ahead because this place is always crowded. I ordered through the website and it said that the order would be ready in 20 mins(which is crazy for a boba place) but it was actually ready in about 5 mins. So ignore the website and just go ask for your order number and they'll probably have it ready in ~ 5-10 mins. There isn't much place to stand inside so you'd have to wait outside.
Great new bubble tea place that opened up in Sunnyvale. The bubble tea was good but is a bit on the sweeter side so I'd recommend a lower sugar level than what you may get else where. Got to try the brown sugar boba milk, the Sunright boba milk tea, and matcha oolong milk tea - all were pretty good and would be willing to come again. Since it is still covid, you can order in person on a kiosk they have at the store but I actually recommend ordering online since it puts you into the same queue. The estimated time your drink will be ready has been pretty accurate the 2 times I've been. They call out your number when your order is ready or you can ask the attendant handing out the drinks if you arrive a bit later.
One of the best spots in the Bay Area if you’re looking for a sweet treat! The place is spacious, had an amicable atmosphere, and played amazing music. Service was great and quick, our drinks were served by the sweetest employee Francine who helped us with what to order and had no problem answering all the questions I had for her!
This is the Blushing Blueberry Splendor from Sunright Tea Studio in Sunnyvale! 🫐 I really liked the cool marbling effect! I’m not the biggest fan of blueberry, so I wasn’t super into this drink 😅 It was like a blueberry smoothie with some foam and some interesting jelly! It definitely was cool that they did a collab with Honkai to have cool stickers and other various stuff for fans!
Their fruit teas are 10/10. I recommend adding 75 or 50% sugar. Seating is pretty limited since they have small tables and stools. However, the overall experience is great since the store is clean, and it's easy to order from their in-store kiosks or online.
The best fruit teas in the area! I buy it by the jug. Try the mango or grapefruit.
Tried this new bubble tea place. They have a variety of drink options and toppings. Got the Sunright Boba Milk Tea. It tasted delicious. Recommendation of going for less sweet, if you are not a fan of too much of sweetness. The boba was perfectly cooked. You can order online to avoid the rush on busy days. Friendly staff and quick service with online ordering.
My friends and I decided to grab boba here and I was surprised that we now have a Sunright in the Bay! (I've heard they were really popular in SoCal) We didn't order online so had to wait ~5-10min to order on the kiosk*, but in 5 min my drink was already ready! Surprisingly quick since there was a line! I got the Grapefruit Jasmine Tea (75% sugar), perfectly refreshing! *Roommate just informed they're only doing online orders/pick up now
Sunright , boba chain from socal, has been one of the boba shops on my rotation in the bay for a while. I would say I go here when Im craving something on the sweeter, less tea forward side. They specialize more on specialty mixed drinks like their creme brulee drinks and blended fruit tea drinks. Again emphasis that the drinks here are made very sweet, if you would like a general sweetness level I recommend getting 75% sweet, maybe even 50%. My typical order (also what I think is like a better version of the omomo bruleedrink) is their matcha milk tea, less ice, house milk, added cremebrulee and oreo toppings, 75% sweet. We also tried their new jasmine drink with pistachio foam top, thought it was very refreshing , not too sweet. Pistachio top didnt taste artificial, nutty flavor went well with the jasmine tea, would order again! This location was just recently renovated, love the new space, feels much more bright and spacious, they even have a few small table for seating now. Also they have a rewards program through toast, which you can also use to order ahead . Even if you dont have jt downloaded, as long as you put your phone number in when you order, you are earning points towards discounts for future orders. Service is always kinda, friendly, and efficient. Overall highly recommend if you are in the area!
I like the drinks here, though I tend to gravitate towards the classic brulee drinks. Fruit drinks are refreshing as well. Pictured are the strawberry jasmine tea and the oreo brulee milk. I like their interior/branding--it's consistent across their other stores. Ordering is done thru a kiosk and you need to get a number thru text/receipt to be able to pick up. Sometimes, Sunright has some collabs with freebies if you order the collab drinks (as of this review, there's a peak collab with Honkai Impact 3rd). Very little seating at this location. Parking is generally easy in the plaza lot.
I just tried the Sunright Boba Milk Tea and it was absolutely perfect! I ordered it with regular ice, house milk, 50% sweetness, and added agar boba, cream pudding, and less brown sugar boba — and every layer was delicious. The texture and flavor balance were on point, and I loved that they let you customize everything. Super refreshing and not too sweet, just the way I like it. The service was quick and friendly too. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
I come here regularly and love it, drinks and toppings are solid, online ordering makes it easy and quick to get my boba. The best thing about them is that they actually give enough topping, and they are consistent in their quality. I've had one bad experience in the past where I found a piece of plastic in my drink, but overall it's still a 5 star place.
I like that they just keep the door open, at least at night. Very convenient. The serving sizes are standard but yeah I like their mango green tea. The pudding versions taste a lot like milk-coffee tea. Ordering is kind of a pain tbh, not enough stations, imo.
Great place to get bubble tea. I really like their pudding boba milk tea with cheese foam and lychee jelly. They don’t really have a dine-in option. The hot options are not really hot from my experience. Also I really wish they opened earlier in the day instead of 11 am- it would be a perfect place to get your daily morning dose of caffeine.
I’ve been coming here since they opened a few years ago and am finally leaving a review. I love the drinks at Sunright Tea - amazing quality and options and everything I’ve tried here, from the fruit tea to the brown sugar milk tea, is amazing!
I am a fan of their coffee boba! Fair warning, tea was lukewarm when I got it with no ice, so I'd suggest choosing light ice instead. The store itself is pretty small and definitely more of a grab and go place, although it can still get crowded during the evenings or weekends. I wish they had snacks to go with the drinks as well. Will be coming back to try more drinks!
Tried their Match Latte with honey boba and it was perfect both quality and quantity wise. Got 50% sweetness which for me was equivalent to 100% sweetness (in a good way)! The spot had bright welcoming vibes with friendly customer service!
We ordered Sunright Fruit Tea and Grapefruit Jasmine Tea. It came out pretty quickly and you ordered through the tablet. The drinks were amazing and worth it on a hot sunny day. It weren’t sweet and you can really taste the tea. Would recommend
Every week I order at least two boba drinks from them. Best of the best white boba, cheese creamer and all flavor tea (white peach oolong is the only one not my test). I hope they will have some dine in tables in the future.

My new favorite boba tea shop! 😍🧋 The only downside is that the service is really not so good. The staff is very slow and can't get my orders promptly. Sometimes they even just sit there playing with their phones without helping others. 😅 I ordered white peach oolong milk tea with mochi topping. The tea is sweeter than other places, so I recommend adjusting the sweetness level accordingly (0% sweetness works great for me). If you love mochi, you should definitely try the mochi topping! 😋 It's a softer version of mochi (the texture is somewhat like pudding), and a little bit sweet.
They have a unique choice of boba drink. Some you cannot find in other boba shops. One unique one is mango with mochi. There is a kind of boba shop that also has mochi but the mochi is not in the drink. It is good but a bit too sweet for me. The only choice is 70% sweet and it is still too sweet for me.
Yummy drinks as usual! I recommend the mango milk tea and yakult drinks. Also, the boba pearls were especially good when I went LOL. I took off one star because i had to wait ridiculously long. I think they forgot about our order…
boba tea offered in this shop tasted like taiwanese bubble tea👍🏻 You could choose the sweetness, ice level and topping. Most importantly, you can ask for fresh milk (instead of house milk) without additional charge! I love it. It is one of the best boba tea shop I even visited. Thumb up for Brown Sugar Boba Milk
SUNRIGHT TEA IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES FOR A REASON! Their strawberry matcha with boba is phenomenal and my favorite drink to get there. Even though it is often sold out it is worth the wait! If you like less sweet drinks with a complexity of flavors get this drink! Also SUNRIGHT has so much variety so don’t worry and their use of real teas just makes their flavors so much better! Overall you should definitely give Sunright a try!
I ordered the Sunright Boba Milk Tea and it was pretty good but the boba was a tad over cooked, a little mushy. They’ve got an extensive menu so I’ll be coming back to try out some other flavors. The cups and store’s aesthetic are really cute! Also, there was a line when I got there and it took a while for my drink to come out, so I recommend ordering ahead online.
My drinks are from three different orders! The drink were good and the menu has very appetizing selections that I wanted to stop by when I was in the area. I still do! The thing that brings me back is definitely the menu selection. I tried the Ceylon brulee latte with oat milk (forgot to add boba), oreo brulee boba milk, matcha red bean frostie, and a strawberry one (which I believe is frostie). I definitely recommend ordering online to avoid the lines. I made that mistake and I had to wait outside the shop for almost an hour for my third order - I placed this order midday. The first two orders were just as the store opened so the wait wasn't bad. It would also avoid using the self-ordering kiosk, which would also form a line.
I love Sunright and have been to several different locations throughout California. The tea is always fresh, delicious, and good quality. I still will keep coming back, but at my most recent visit the menu posted above the register did not reflect their actual menu which made it difficult to order as some drinks and toppings were no longer offered.
This place is very popular. The drinks I had so far are good. Everything is pickup. Order online and pickup the drink when you arrive. You can order from the store if you are near. It appears they separate the online from the store order. Store order seems to be faster than online ordering. Drinks: Strawberry Jasmine Tea was the drink that was recommended. I can say that it doesn't disappoint. The Strawberry and tea are very distinct in this drink. There are real strawberry bits inside the drink. 50% was perfect for this drink. You can probably increase it to 75%. Oreo Brulee Boba Milk tea is the beast oreo milk tea I have ever drank. It actually taste like an oreo drink. 25% sweetness is the perfect sweetness. They blend the drink enough that you don't get chunks compared to other milk tea places. Ambience: No cashier. No seats. No tables. It's basically a pickup location. Building is lit up and modern looking. Parking: Shared lot with other businesses. It can get crowded but there is always enough far parking.
Total Score: 8.425 Ambiance: 4.75/5 Lovely sun vibes. Funny how there’s also Halloween decor too. Food: 4.25/5 Super chewy bubbles. Solid brown sugar milk tea. Not overly sweet either Wow: 0/1 Normal boba place Total Score = 3.5*AM + 6*FOOD + 0.5*WOW

When we arrived in the afternoon they were sold out of boba which defeats the purpose of getting boba. There was no mention outside so we had committed to the huge line by the time we got there. Considering there was no boba in my boba I didn't like the tea either. I ordered the taro milk tea and it was black tea with taro paste which I did not like. The service was incredibly slow too and we had to wait 20 minutes for our boba.
Protip: Order online for pickup, otherwise the line to order there is pretty long. However, even when you order online, note that it'll take at least 30mins for your order to be ready for pickup. You'll receive a text when your drinks are ready. I got a variety of drinks with a couple of friends. The Sunright Boba Milk Tea was pretty good - 100% is pretty sweet, so make it less sweet if you're not into super sweet. I got the the Matcha Oolong Milk Tea, 75% sweet. At 75% sweet, it's still pretty sweet as well. Not enough matcha for me, since I like my matcha strong, so the drink is alright. Oolong taste is not that strong either, so it kinda just take like a regular milk tea. I wish the drink could be better. If you like soft boba, their boba (I don't know about the honey boba) is pretty soft so that was a plus. They definitely need to improve on service though. There's three lines at the door: one for ordering at the kiosk, one for picking up your kiosk order, and one for picking up mobile orders. There was ONE person working both pickup lines.. Unfortunately even though I did a mobile order, and I got a message that my order was ready, I had to wait quite a while to even tell them my order number. The person was so focused on the kiosk pickup orders, that the mobile order line was utterly ignored. And the lines for pickup are facing the door and very little space.. so the lines get really messy. At the same time, after they get your order number, they're picking up every bag of drinks to figure out which one is your number.. I'd think it should be organized better. I finally got to telling them my order, and the person didn't even check how many drinks were in my order. I ordered 7 drinks, and she just handed me a bag of 2 drinks without checking that that was the whole order..... You should be checking that your customers get their full order, especially with such a long wait time and they're trying to rush you out to get to the next customer. They need to fix their service because it's VERY poor, compared to everywhere else. Even though the drinks are alright, because of the poor service, I don't think I'd be willing to come back because of the hassle, and the long wait times, both for placing for pickup, and actually picking up...

The drinks were so good I loved it so much. But when I got to the bottom of my drink I found a fly in it… I was saving the jelly toppings for last so I finished my tea and was going to scoop it out.. just to see a fly stuck on it 😭 I’m conflicted because I feel so gross for drinking milk tea with a fly stuck in the jelly, but also love Sunright. Let’s see 🤷♀️
A friend had mentioned Sunright Tea Studio was one of their favorite boba spots, so decided to give it a try. When we got there, there was a line of almost 25-30 people. We realized halfway through, that we could order through an app. It glitched a few times before we could order. It probably took close to one hour from ordering and waiting to get our drinks. That in itself was not worth. Everyone was waiting inside during the heat wave that day and everyone was restless on the wait time. I got the strawberry jasmine with boba and green tea jelly. Honestly, tasted too floral-ey. Not much tea flavor. Toppings were ok. Overall, service was slow. Ordering had issues for a subpar drink. Not sure I'll be back personally, but I also might have ordered the wrong item. Maybe next time? Parking available in the plaza. Definitely try to order online and pray it works if you want to try them out haha.

Worst experience I ever had in a drink store. I ordered pickup form DoorDash and received the text asking me to skip the line to pick up my order. I do see my order is ready there in the desk along with another 20 orders ready for pick up. But the lady there was just keep packing the new orders and never hand over the ready for pick up orders to us. I asked her to check my order and she came and just left without saying a word. And left 20 ready orders on the desk and 20 people trying to pick up. What exactly is the point that you made the drink and don’t allow people to pick it up?! I waited for 20 minutes there watching my frostie melting. Really the worst customer service and stupidest flow. I would highly suggest everyone save your time and avoid this store.
I got a Mango Frostie through DoorDash. However, it was sealed so I don't think it was DoorDash's fault. There were white plastic pieces in the drink. It's horrible to think that I may have swallowed a small piece without knowing it. After finding the second piece, I decided not to drink it, and while I was throwing the drink away, I looked for more pieces of plastic inside and found a total 3. You guys need to be super careful when you making the drinks. I'm a boba tea lover and have never had this kind of experience at any other place. It was my first time and it was horrible. l'm so scared that it will happen again. I will never gonna order a drink from your store.

1-3-2026 while we were ordering our drinks today, this really inappropriate song played. Essentially, the song was just repeating the N word with the hard R over and over again. Really ruined the vibe.
