Opinions de Tai Chi Bubble Tea Syracuse
This is my absolute favorite tea place. They have the best homemade boba and such amazing ramen. I work right near this location and all of us frequent here atleast once a week. The staff is always really nice too.
I got dragged in by my granddaughter for boba tea a couple times... and they are really good.... but today I was hungry and decided to eat there.... WOW! The Miso Ramen with pork was TO DIE FOR! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! My husband (a sushi nut) can't stop raving over the sushi burrito they make! If this was a baseball game... they just hit one into the parking lot! A "let's try it" turned into a "let's do this often"! Beats the mall hands down.
I've gotten milk tea here before and it was amazing BUT this was my first time ordering a sushi burrito here. It was so devine that I needed to jump on and give Tai Chi a 5 star review right away. The customization options and freshness of the ingredients is what made it so perfect. I was able to mix and match the exact flavor profile I was looking for. Honestly, the same can be said about the drink options here as well! LOVE this place and can't wait to continue ordering from here a lot more often.
Wonderful food. I was in town for 4 nights for CuseCon at the Collegian and was looking for restaurants within walking distance. Once I found this place I didn't need to go anywhere else. Fresh, flavorful ingredients, huge portions and fast service. I was very impressed.
Awesome business! You have to check this place out! Please support. Customer service ✓ Style✓ Cleanliness✓ Good vibes✓ Family and friend hangout oriented✓ (Lots of seats, board games, child seats) Beautiful atmosphere✓ Good place to study✓ Zen✓ I really, really, have enjoyed every visit I have had to this place :) Everytime I have had one of their boba drinks it's been great. The taste is excellent, the fruit fresh, you can really taste the tea that they put in the drink. The portions are awesome, I really feel I got my money's worth. I also tried one of their rice bowl type things and the flavors were there as well as freshness. The rice (brown sesame) was awesome! I am excited to make visits to Tai Chi a normal occurrence.
Originally I was going to give them 3/4 stars because they were moving slowly and seemingly prioritizing online orders vs. those in stores. But I believe those were issues from just opening and getting situated. They have definitely improved. Food is good and the staff are quite pleasant. I personally enjoy the sushi burrito but the other food is very good as well.
This place has the vibe NAILED! Clean, sharp and sophisticated. Perfect for a quick bite before or after the theatre (Syracuse Stage is across the street!) Whether you’re dressed to impress or rolling out of bed, their restaurant is inviting and welcoming! Food is really good and their tapioca pearls are the best I’ve ever had.
Ordered through Uber eats. Holy moly this is good! We did two bubble teas and a rice bowl and a sushi burrito. Everything was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to eat here again
Our go to poke spot. I come here just about every week for lunch. Really great toppings and very reasonably priced. Their bubble tea is great as well.
I could literally eat here every day. If you’re into real-deal bubble tea and poke, this place is your go-to. Their bubble tea tastes like it’s straight out of Asia, with perfectly chewy pearls and a rich flavor that hits the spot without being too sweet. The poke bowls are fresh and tasty, making it the perfect combo. If you’re craving Asian flavors, this place totally delivers. The seating areas and people are absolutely lovely.
Very cute atmosphere and decor with nice seating. I’ve bought the vanilla milk tea twice, and it was excellent. Super sweet and the bubbles were soft.
This is a staple for Doordash. They have the best spicy miso ramen. I love their bubble teas which are customizable and delicious! The macaroons are delicious. Love this place! One of my all-time favs!
I love the food, its very asian...meat is very tender and I always feel full and satisfied. I love the ambience. Its just the ricebox w beef, the beef taste is too sour.
I travel for work and one of my favorite things to try at new places is bubble tea and poke bowls. Both here were super good. I got the brown sugar milk tea and a medium sized bowl. The bowls flavor was explosive, it was one of the best I’ve had. I also absolutely loved the bubble tea. It was actually not too sweet which was nice, I usually order with half sugar when I have the option to but this was perfect as is. Will definitely return next time Im in town.

Great place! Ordered Spicy Miso Ramen with Pork and a Strawberry Milk Crush. Everything was fantastic. Definitely didn’t need the extra noodles. Will definitely be back.

Came here on a chill Sunday morning amd had a great spicy tuna poke bowl and thai iced tea. Friendly service and healthy & clean food, thank you

Tai Chi Bubble Tea is an awesome place to visit for lunch and dinner. The vibe is hip and friendly and the workers here work hard to guide you through your food choosing process. The guy who cooked our food was very friendly and he did and excellent job as the food was delicious. The cost is a little high but definitely worth it for whatever food or drink you're buying. The dining area was extremely clean and it has plenty of seating and it's a very large dining area. The only problem that I have with my experience was horrible parking. There are literally only 4 or 5 parking spaces in the front and that's it. I had to park illegally so good luck with that. Out of the 4 Tai Chi restaurants in NY that I've been to so far, this location is the best in my opinion. I'd love to give 5 stars but because of the parking situation I'm gonna rate with a 4 star.
I love the bubble tea here! There's a great variety, the staff is kind, the ambience is friendly, and there's a lot of space to sit down and chat or do some work. The only downside is the waiting time when you order in person. They really take their time making anything. I've waited more than 10 minutes for bubble tea when there was only one person before me.
Swung by for some milk tea. The milk tea and the tapioca bubbles were good though across all drinks my group got. I got some red bean in mine and can’t say I have anything particularly good to say about that part. Probably the worst red bean I’ve had at any milk tea place. They lacked any degree of sweetness and just tasted like whole plain beans. After seeing their food selection and the dishes coming out of the kitchen, I’m looking forward to coming back and trying out their food at some point in the future.
Ordered the Spicy Miso with chicken and my husband went with beef. Both were delicious, loved the flavors. The restaurant felt clean, it’s very open and the decor is nice as well. I will go back to try some of the other items on their menu. Customer service was fine.
This will always be my go to place to eat ramen. The people are friendly and the facility is clean. The food and selection is incredible. My only reason for giving 5 stars is the ramen isn’t hot enough (temperature). It needs to be HOT when being served.

It was my first time, and it won’t be my last. Besides the minor language barrier, the staff were polite and the food was tasty. I also had a taro milk bubble tea, which is my favorite by the way.
The food here is good, the ingredients taste fresh, and the store is really well set-up (I like that they have free water in a dispenser). However they have also gotten my order slightly wrong every single time I've been here without exception, no matter who was working, to the point where it's honestly pretty funny. I still come here all the time because I'm not picky and whatever they give me is usually still good, but if you have food allergies you should probably go to a different location.

Food was fresh and very tasty. I was surprised the rice bowl ingredients were all served cold, but were still tasty. The biggest disappointment was the pitiful little pinch of 4 chicken strips and quarter cup of shrimp for the outrageous price of $14. Barely worth the price. The veggie and fruit options were also very sparse and barely filled half the container. They would probably be way more popular at 1/3 less cost per dish, they don't appear to have enough overhead to justify the price as it is.
I’ve been to this location twice the first time was a phenomenal experience. However, I ordered the same meal again and for $30 I received less portion when ordering the same exact meal. Also the broth tasted different this time so consistency could be questionable.
I love Taichi bubble tea and their rice bowl/boxes. But lately, it's been such a miss. It's aggravating how inconsistent their poke rice bowls are. Some days it's nice and a nice amount of fish and add ons. Other days, they give a tablespoon of fish for the 2-protein rice box. Seriously? Overpriced as hell for two measly tablespoons of fish. They also forgot our drinks twice. They need to get better like the locations in Rochester. Some quality management here would be nice.
Good (large) environment inside, good location for another bubble tea spot, decent bubble tea, wouldn't get the food again, could be a more helpful/friendly service. Decent overall, would return again for bubble tea because of the ideal location and decent bubble tea.
Our experience at this restaurant was marred by cold broths, poorly cooked protein, and unfriendly service. It appeared that the restaurant was more focused on making money than on providing a positive dining experience for customers.
I love my bubble tea a lot. I ordered online and ahead of time. It is ready by the time I walk up to pick it. I work near by...so my lunch is always from them. They are friendly and beautiful people. I used to order sushi burrito everyday, but one day I saw a young lady with no mask, talking to other staff making my sushi. These are raw ingredients and I was disgusted to watch her make my food while talking. How are we not sure that some droplets did not fall out of her mouth or nostrils? It is really unhygienic to handle food like that. Wearing a mask is not for COVID, it is a basic hygiene for food handlers. As soon as i opened my meal box, i saw a small strand of hair. So no more food for me from there. Will stick to only drinks.
I’m new to the area and have tried this place twice. Both times I wasn’t given the proteins I selected on the menu. The flavor of what I’m given is good. I just wish my order was done right. It was take out so I didn’t find out until I sat down and started eating. I’ll be back, but I’ll be sure to make it known that they pay attention to what they’re doing.
Stopped in on a cold snowy day, Ramen sounded good, walking distance from hotel. Counter employee was very friendly, place looked nice and comforting chill vibe. Ramen Tonkotsu with added chicken was not good. Hardly any flavor, chicken tasted like frozen out of a box breaded chicken that was microwave and over cooked. How can chicken be dry like jerky that is in a hot steamy liquid. Luckily, I was so damn hungry and cold I scarfed it down in, disappointment in every bite. Lastly, if I’m paying $15 for Ramen that is in a nice bowl and atmosphere, how come you can’t have a real ramen spoon or at least a real soup spoon. Maybe even a higher quality plastic spoon might have been better than some low quality take out plastic spoon. Felt like I was in a cafeteria eating a $3 bowl of Lipton cup o soup. I hate to leave bad reviews and rarely do, feel like a Karen, all just truth, but for a chain that has growing, not sure how, not a good experience or Ramen.
Eat here fairly regularly and normally it’s fine, but today I got a bowl and asked if it was enough rice, but today felt like it wasn’t that much. Both people working the front assures me it was but 🤷. The guy kept forgetting items that I had to remind him of as I made my bowl, and the final product was less than half full of food. The photo I’m adding is before I’ve even eaten any and there’s a MASSIVE divot where food should be I feel. Had to run so the bowl got shaken so the layout of the food doesn’t bother me but the sheer amount I feel it’s missing is upsetting me. Every other time I’ve gotten a bowl it’s been completely full so this is just disappointing to me. If you go here the food is good just make sure they aren’t skimping you.

The young blonde woman had the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered; turned around and left after hearing the attitude. Erie locations it is
They gave me a bowl that had no protein in it. Checked my receipt and confirmed my order. Business did not respond to my report online.
We ordered 2 very different bowls and they screwed up one of them. Mainly by adding extra things, and forgetting shrimp. There were so much corn and jalapeños in my bowl I couldn't eat around them. I like spicy, I just don't like jalapeños. Yes, doordash gave me a refund but when I called and asked them to remake it and I would pick it up, the manager refused.
The most disgusting matcha tea I have ever had in my life. It tastes like grass, and from the color it’s a very cheap cooking/ baking matcha that’s not for drinking but they used it to make drinks. Also ordered cheese milk foam the drink came with literal cheese bites in it 😤🤢🤢 Please fire whoever makes the drinks for your own good, and stop using super cheap matcha.
I don’t typically write reviews like this but I went in around 7:00 pm on a Sunday and ordered an iced Taro Milk tea and it was the worst Taro Tea I’ve ever tasted in my entire life….it didn’t even taste like taro it had this strange unpleasant minty after taste to it. I didn’t even get to enjoy the drink I ended up throwing it out completely because of how disgusting it tasted. Definitely not worth the money. I was also the only one in the store so it’s not like it was busy either.
Good unless your getting a poke bowl if the associates don’t make your bowl right or add something you didn’t check the owner will come out and blame and berate you before acting like giving you the food correctly that you ordered as if your lucky to receive it . Horrible attitude . Downtown location
I really wanted ramen and decided to risk the frighteningly named “vegetarian tomato ramen”. I thought that if they serve it, it can’t be that bad. It was everything I feared and more. Tomato soup with ramen noodles. It doesn’t even have bamboo shoots (which come with all the other ramen dishes). My non-vegetarian friends pointed, jeered, and laughed as they slurped up their presumably delicious bowls while I choked down a very expensive version of spaghetti and ketchup. The boba was delightful, the staff were a joy, and the ambience was lovely, but I will not budge from my one star rating. The other reviews lulled me into a false sense of security about this ramen. Don’t make the same mistake.
Ordered for pickup. Walked in. Was not Acknowledged by person behind counter. Another worker came out I said my order was right there and pointed to it. He proceeded to walk in back and had someone else come up to give it to me. Won’t be going back.
So I went to Tai Chi Bubble Tea thinking I was about to have a cute little matcha moment… and it was literally the worst bubble tea I’ve ever had in my life. It tasted like straight water — no flavor, no sweetness, just nasty brownish-green liquid that looked like sewage runoff. I wish I was exaggerating. We spent $45 total, and my drink was so bad I didn’t even touch it after the first sip. I went up to the counter, super polite, and said I wasn’t happy with my matcha and asked if they could fix it or swap it for something else. The guy wouldn’t even make eye contact and goes, “Not really anything I can do.” I said, “You can’t do anything? Not even trade it out?” and then the woman jumps in and says, “Matcha at bubble tea places usually tastes like grass,” and shrugs. Sorry, but this didn’t taste like grass. It tasted like diarrhea water. It looked disgusting, completely separated, watery, and undrinkable. And when I tried to show them, they just stared at me like I was the problem. No apology, no remake, nothing. It was 8pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. Now I know why. If this is how they treat customers, they’re lucky anyone walks in at all. Don’t waste your time or money here — unless you like your bubble tea tasting like pond water and being told that’s “just how it is.”
The poke and boba were TERRIBLE. Do not got here. They had horrible service, no lactose free options and their crab meat is imitation crab. The poke was a mess to eat, the yuzu and ponzu sauce didn’t even taste like how they were supposed to either. When I went to ask if I could get a different boba flavor since I didn’t like my original drink they declined, even though I got the drink under their recommendation. The Matcha Zang Zang drink was the most disgusting boba I have ever tried. Do not go here!!!
Ok so I orders the following off the card: Taichi Rice Bowl. I was given this. Now I would expect a bit more than 1 scoop of rice for a rice bowl. We also ordered a Chicken rice bowl and that was about 2/3 rice so I don’t know where the disconnect went. The chicken was much to be desired. Very chewy and tasted reheated and added more sauce to cover the taste. In all honesty I’m writing this and going back to see what they do about the side of rice rice bowl I got and I will update the review to reflect as such. The boba was very good. A very solid Thai tea with good chewy boba. The mango fruit tea is very solid as well and the mango jelly was very good as well. Can’t knock them on the tea aspect. If I do go back I will only go for tea and forgo the food. Edit: I was informed a Poke Rice Bowl comes with 1 scoop of rice. This will be taken note of and that was the only thing they fixed. The chicken bowl was left in edited and unfixed.

The taste of the milk tea was extremely bad, and the ingredients of the food looked very bad and not fresh. It took 10 minutes to make a simple matcha milk tea, and there was almost no one in the store at that time.
Ordered 2 taro milk teas with tapioca pearls, one with less sugar and one with regular. Could not figure out which one was which, both tasted watered down and both untasted spoiled and sour. I anticipate my body rejecting this since it feels like I have a brick in my stomach right now.
Drinks taste like water, don’t waste your money if you want good drinks. If you want a nice place to take pic it cute. Overall, service was bad. Drinks is bad. Wait time is long.
I visited your restaurant today as I have done many times before. I ordered a Ramen bowl and made specific requests to have certain ingredients removed due to dietary restrictions. When my food arrived it still contained multiple items I clearly asked to be left out. What made matters worse is what I witnessed next. A staff member instructed the young woman at the counter to just pick the items out of the bowl and save them for the next order. That was completely unacceptable. I paid over twenty dollars for that meal and could not eat it. I called the restaurant shortly after and while the young lady apologized twice she offered no real solution. She simply said it would be better next time and then hung up on me. There will be no next time. I will never return. That level of customer service is unacceptable especially when it affects someone’s health. The food is not even worth the price when there are plenty of other places offering Ramen bowls at half the cost with far better service. You have lost a loyal customer.
Amy the manager is always rude to me, and never smiles. I’m not sure how she got promoted to manager. I’ve seen the way she treats other customers and her employees. What a shame for a small business.
