I live closer to 20 other bars but this one is worth the trip. Bartender is super friendly and great at her job, she is both bartender and cook and neither suffers for it. Wings are very tasty, the ranchero is a great sauce to go with and get a side of fries to go with it. I'm already looking forward to going back.

I've been driving by here meaning to stop in for years. I finally took the plunge and I do not regret it. I wish I had a picture of the ranchero wings but they never last long. I also really enjoyed their smash burgers. There's quite the selection of beers whether I'm in the mood for a Meier's Creek or just a draft. The regulars here are so friendly and inviting and since I've become more of a frequent face myself the owner has taken note and shown his hospitality. I love this new option and look forward to many many more football Sundays and fun nights out here at Thompson road Tavern.

Angie at the bar is a gem. She's friendly and very helpful. Our meal was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

My burger was amazing. 10 out of 10. This is what I would call your favorite corner bar.  Even though its not technically on a corner. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. It's the kind of place where the bartenders know your name. Don't let the casual vibe fool you, though. The food here seriously punches above its weight. For such an unassuming spot, the quality is truly impressive. I'd go as far as to say their hamburgers are the best I have had. And the wings? Absolutely fantastic! If you're looking for a laid-back spot with great company and even better food, especially if you're a burger or wing enthusiast, then look no further. Highly recommended!

My friend treated me to lunch today, this spot is a definite local gem! Quality food and drinks, pleasant and attentive staff. I had the pork tacos, super yum on flavor. My friend had a ‘perfect’ Rueben!!! They also have awesome daily specials at very low prices. I will be back for the Monday $5 chicken sandwich. All around great place.

Stopped here for a couple drinks after a hot day on my way back to my hotel off Cartier Circle. Been stopping here for over 30 years while in Syracuse. Riva’s, All American, now Thompson Road. Always a good crowd and surprisingly very good food. As always easy to start a conversation with the locals and learn some interesting stories. Will definitely stop back on future trips to Syracuse.

It was first my time there and it wasn’t bad. My only complaints are that they didn’t have any pickles for the burger and they didn’t put any TRT sauce on it either, which I heard was really good. I also question whether they’re really smashburgers. They don’t seem thin enough or charred like typical smashburgers. Either way, the food is more than adequate for their pre-inflation prices.

Popcorn is good, drinks are cold, staff can be rude, lots of TV's to catch the big game.

My drink was okay at best the bar tender was not at all friendly

I walked in out of the rain to wait for my Uber and stood at the counter for 10 minutes trying to buy a beer and the bartender stood with her back to me on her phone so I didn't get a beer or service

So uncomfortable and non welcoming, i walked in and they just stated at me like i stole something...so rude i left within 2 minutes and str8 to another bar that welcomed my money
