Opinions de Twin Trees Too! Syracuse
Twin Trees is one of my favorite Restaurants to visit when I'm in the Syracuse Area. Great Pizza, 50 Cent wings on Sundays for Football Season. Try one of Twin Trees Locations (Twin Trees Too My Favorite) you won't be disappointed..
Friendly and professional staff, and great pizza!
Always top notch. Fast friendly service and the best pizza in syracuse. We ended up with an extra topping on our pizza that wasn't ordered and the waitress comped 2 deserts for the mix up. Jokes on her because she got it right back in her tip ;-). If you're in town for a visit don't miss out on this hometown gem!
A can't miss in Syracuse if visiting or a local looking for great spot to eat. Spectacular service, spectacular meal. Service staff was very friendly & engaging even during the busy lunch hour. Keep up the good work!!
Great food great pizza love the bartenders and servers. Nothing but good vibes enjoy every visit
Twin Trees is the best restaurant with remarkable pizza, and a whole lot more. 'There are several other 'Twin Trees', all over the region, and this is an offshoot of the original only a few blocks away. Lots of rooms for showers and meetings, and high school reunions. So we all met for lunch, and some of us had 10" pizzas (scrumptious!) and some had club sandwiches (fantastic!) - there are specials every day, fish and fries on a Monday (!) - several of us had antipasto salad.
Twin trees 2 has a very friendly staff and the best pizza in town. They're a bit expensive, but worth every penny! What I really like about it though, is that it is like an old fashioned, corner Italian restaurant. You feel a little like you're on the "Cheers" set when you go there.
Actually the cheese & garlic Pizza was delicious. The first time for ordering this pizza. Also enjoyed a house Caesar salad. The pizza was served hot. The salad was served before the pizza. Which is how we enjoy our salads. The restaurant wasn't crowded during the 1:00 o'clock hour. The server was pleasant and always knew when to check in with us.
Such a pleasure to have the excellent service and REALLY GREAT HADDOCK at Twin Trees Too tonight. Our waitress was very personable..downright sweet actually. The fried Haddock was piped hot but perfectly cooked so it was definitely tops in my opinion. Nothing can ruin a good piece of haddock like cooking it too long. It's very tricky.
Was a favorite when we lived in the area many years ago. Visiting for an event & had to stop by. Food still fantastic after all this time! Even ordered a pizza to take home with us. Even better than I remembered. I truly miss living closer & dining here regularly.
The absolute best pizza in Syracuse by a long shot. If you love pizza, you owe it to yourself to try a Twin Trees pizza. Very consistent and always delicious! We're lucky to have TT not far away, we order their pizza all the time! I hope it never changes!
Twin Trees has always been a staple but in recent years our visits to other locations has declined. A few months ago we had dinner in the North Syracuse location, our go-to, and swore we'd never return after 28 years of patronage. Something was different and it started with the undersized 'pandemic pizzas'. That said this evening's visit to the Milton Avenue location for dinner for six was absolutely lovely! The place was bustling, smelled just like Twin Trees should and the food was great. Trinity truly made the entire experience on course with her friendliness and a level of enjoyable service hard to find. She had us all laughing and looking forward to our next visit.
Besides New York, we have lived in 4 other states over 40 years. In all that time, we have only found 1 pizza as good as (not better than) Twin Trees. Syracuse is really lucky to have pizza this good. We go every time we are in town.
We attended Twin Trees Too for a School Soccer banquet. The food was very good, the staff was friendly. An excellent facility for events like this. I had frequented this establishment many times in the past (over 30 years ago). It is good to see that Twin Trees Too is still a quality dinning establishment.
Tonight our family of 6 ordered a large pizza with sausage, pepperoni, roasted red peppers, bacon, ham, onions and extra cheese. The server said it was the heaviest pizza she ever carried, I say it was the best pizza I ever ate!! Crust was perfect! Antipasto on the side was perfect! Doesn't get any better then Twin Trees Too!!!!!
Stopped for lunch when in the area on a Saturday afternoon. Very nice server. We had pizza and antipasto. Pizza had a great crust and great flavor. Antipasto was huge and good! Definitely will visit again when in the area again.
The best pizza!!! I also love their fish. Great atmosphere with a very attentive wait staff. We have never had a problem getting a table to have dinner here just walking in.
Hidden gem in Syracuse. The Pizza was fantastic! (It was cut strange, but hey, maybe that's their thing) And the onion rings where even better! My daughter, a VERY picky eater, got an incredible cheeseburger! Our server was VERY attentive, and although it seemed rather busy when we were there the service was quick, the atmosphere was great, and the booths were comfy!
Other than losing a brand new speaker here the food was exceptional & the service was good. Cute decor but outdated. Recommended
Food was great, price was on point, bone less wings might as well have been chicken fingers. The pizza was perfectly crispy!
Found it this year, and been to twice. Excellent Chicken Parmesan. 4 star garlic knots, with a lot of sauce. Highly recommend going to this place for 1 or 100.
Shrimp Riggies were amazing, fabulous wings but the best part for me is their bread they serve ❤️just excellent!
Thank you twin trees 2. We celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday in the back room. Everybody had a great time! With 35 people, the room was full with plenty of space to move around. The hot buffet is a good choice at $25 plus tax and tip. Kudos to the cook, food was prepared and cooked excellent.
Before coming by I read some of the reviews. One said "best pizza and wings ever." Did not disappoint! Amaaazing Pizza and wings. Felt bad because our kids started to get a little riled up at one point and instead of getting mad like some managers would they brought them each a toy to play with! Amazing customer service and family atmosphere will definitely make the drive again!
Steak and linguine w/ clam sauce were very good. We seemed to get less of the server's time than everyone else. They ran out of soup which delayed our meals. I had to put something in front of the TV so it didn't distract me from my companion. No one was even watching it. Anyone wanting to watch could have eaten in another room. Regardless, we're planning to return so we can both have steak. Nice family atmosphere.
Bartender waited on our party for hours at the bar. She was always on top of what we needed or wanted. Food was great 😋. Atmosphere I scored lower because we were at the bar, as patrons, and a random waitress came and huffily made us feel in the way (all other staff were very pleasant and we did step aside if food was coming through). I recommend this place 100 percent 💛
When it is on it is great. But the product has become inconsistent. I changed my rating to 5 stars because even if i get a perfect pizza every other visit, Twin Trees is the best pizza in Syracuse Bar None. I know personally how difficult it is running a business and how challenging it can be. Keep up the great work over there!
We visited this location Sept 5th. We arrived just before Kentucky Derby was starting. We asked for a table, not a booth. They quoted us 30 min. It ended up being more like 45min.They were out of everything we wanted, but that didn't matter!! The entire staff was PHENOMENAL!!!! Jenn the owner wss so wonderful! Jody was also a master at her field!! We decided on Pizza & Wings, which you cannot go wrong with!! We will def choose this location on our next visit. We all had such a great experience. Thank You Jenn and the staff!! Regards, Jeff,Adam,Lee and Eric!!!
Amazing Italian food. The stuffed peppers were hot but tasted great. The fresh bread was very good, the waitress kept bringing out more baskets of it. Happened to be chicken parm night when I was there. The portion was so big that I took half home for lunch the next day
This is easily the most underrated restaurant in CNY. They have such reasonable prices for exceptional food. Very clean inside and excellent staff. I highly recommend, and the perfect place to watch a Yankee game.
Great great in every way possible. The food portion size was very large we had more than one meal out of it. Great food very. tasty. We will be there again soon.
The food was absolutely amazing. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is nice but the reserved dining area was quite cold from their powerful ceiling vents.
Rented the party room for a Celebration of Life. The staff (kudos to Jill) was awesome. The food kept coming out for all three hours fresh. They handled everything perfectly and professionally. And the bill was very reasonable. Thanks so much!!!!
I love the nostalgic atmosphere, food served family style. Delicious pizza, I believe the sauce made the pizza. Grandma's Oregano basil sauce. Perfect crispy wings and A FAT calzone! Outstanding food with outstanding service, just plain old school respect. I appreciate our server for the VIP experience. I never touched a plate, she wrapped our leftovers. Food always consistent. Italian food done right.
excellent family restaurant that has stepped up the Friday Night Fish Night menu! Lots of fish & chip options and of course, a lasagna plate that would stop a Centro bus in it's tracks! And yes, I ate every bit. Staff is always friendly and was quick to correct an issue without hesitation. Great place casual place where big tables can accommodate big families and big laughs :)
I haven't had pizza from this location in years, but it was Top Shelf. Another win for Twin Trees best pizza in Syracuse New York in my opinion hostesses were quite friendly. And made sure everything was right for me a plus plus. Here's a couple pictures. Great job as you can see it didn't make it home without eating a little bit. Thanks again.
Syracuse-style pizza at it's best! Try the wings, antipasto, and the chicken parm too - delicious! This is an authentic Syracuse original. Like the original Twin Trees, Twin Trees Too serves the "Syracuse style" pizza - cheesy, slightly thick crust, savory tomato sauce, and cut into strips. Twin Trees Too expanded a few years ago and has a large bar and plenty of seating. The bar has lots of screens for sports viewing. It's inexpensive too.
Food overall was good. There is a limited menu for sit down style outing as it is primarily a pizza spot. The pizza is good and they have a variety of different styles and toppings. The wait staff is good and attentive the only reason it doesnt have a 5 star is because nothing was great, just very good.
I have been to this restaurant twice now and the food has been decent. The pizza crust is of a thin nature with small nicely crisped edges, not really chewy. The wings were generally on the crispy side (not soggy like some places I have had) with very good sauce options. If you have an issue with greasy foods you may want to avoid the pizza, especially garlic. The drinks are an assortment of Coca Cola products and some of the more common bar options for beer, wine, and cocktails. I recommend giving them a try if you have not.
Always a favorite for their fantastic pizza. The wings usually leave something to be desired, they're basic and tend to be hit or miss. We've explored little of the rest of their menu as the pizza is simply the best reason to visit. Each time we're in town we try to make it out here for a meal. Wait staff is friendly and their options for vegetarian pizza are excellent.
Came here for a birthday gathering for my niece - good space and good food. My criticism of this place is that the floors (carpet) is gross - you can tell on the edges it used to be a much lighter color and your feet immediately feel dirty and stick to the floor when walking around in there. Definitely need a solid cleaning or maybe just replacement at this point.
Excellent food and service. Our server Jeff was friendly and experienced. I highly recommend the broccoli and shells! My fiance loves their pizza. Unfortunately the ladies restroom is need of several repairs and updating.
The pizza & wings are better at this location than at the other Twin Trees restaurants. They put more cheese and toppings on their pizzas and more sauce on their wings. My only complaint...they have so many signs that read "Wait to be seated" that you have know idea where to stand to be acknowledged. We once stood at one these signs for ten minutes and finally had to go to the bar to ask for a table.
Pretty good restaurant. It offers typical American-Italian affair and comfort food. The restaurant is often crowded and there can be a bit of a wait. It usually isn’t too bad, however. The food is good. The prices are a little more than I expected, however, given the menu selections. Still, it is good food, excellent pizza, and a recommended stop.
It was ok. Decent wings and was a good .50 wing special on Sunday. Didn’t care for the loaded fries, and the French onion soup was skimpy on the broth, or maybe too many croutons. Clean atmosphere. Waitress was friendly.
The decorate great for the holidays! Top notch friendly service too.
I won't say it was bad or good falls in the average.. I asked for a place not to loud as we walked in and the bar area was very loud... so the put us in a empty room minus 1 table a family was at. So of all the empty booths , mind you only two of us. They seat us by the server station across from the kitchen out side of a party room... I kid you not ..this is what they thought would be a quite area for a person with heating aides as I did explain this to the human who sat us... food ok. Boneless wings overcooked and the pre-made pizza dough was obviously not fresh.. but I have had worse.. and definitely had better. The kitchen noise had my wife ask if a waitress was ok from all the yelling she was hearing.. like genuinely concerned for a waitress... was told no this is normal at this time of night 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I didn’t enjoy my dinner the first time here and decided to give it another try. We went with my boyfriend and his family. The server could’ve been better. The server didn’t mention anything about the special for the day. We all didn’t like our food and thought it was “ok”. The only thing that was delicious was the garlic and cheese pizza and their calzones. if you’re coming here, just have their pizza and calzones and maybe wings. do not get anything else because it has no taste to it. Also, 2 of us got broccoli on the side and it was DUMPED in butter for which didn’t even ask for or knew it was going to include SO much butter. The server should’ve asked if we wanted butter… like it was so much it looked like velveeta cheese was on top of it.
I love my twin trees but the large family style salad had way too much dressing that at least 3 out of 10 could not enjoy it. The pizzas were greasier than usual but still good. Service was fine.
Food is pretty good but Jill ruined both experiences. I understand people having bad days but she has been nothing but rude the times I’ve been there. Not a good place for bigger parties (5+) with her because she’ll get angry you’re there even if you’ve made reservations. Not a fan.
Our experience here wasn't the best however, the food we did get was excellent. The wait staff were excellent and the manager was very responsive to our problems. If, they had been fully staffed and seasoned, I am sure we and anyone else would have an Excellent meal. The Restaurant was very busy, even with walk in orders. We will be back when we return to Syracuse. I hope they do very well. It was a nice Restaurant and bar with convenient parking.
So disappointed in tonight's meal and service. How can a long standing resturant like this completely mess up chicken parm? Well they did. Frozen chicken Patty so very over cooked that cutting it is impossible. Burned on top from broiler to melt the cheese. Bad taste. They took $5.00 other bill, what? Meals did not come out together or even close. My salad was meant to be my meal but was served as appetizer with extra plates for the group. What happened to the quality we all have known in the past? Shameful.
I will first start off by saying their customer service has always been excellent. Rather we dined in or ordered take out, Staff has always been awesome (3 stars for that alone). With that being said my last few orders from this location have been less than satisfying. The pizza and wings just haven't been the same. Our wings were fried so hard they were inedible. Our pizza was overcooked as well with barely any red sauce. Their prices have risen which I completely understand but their quality has declined significantly. Twins Trees Too had been my go to for pizza and wings for years. Hopefully their quality will return to their norm. I wish them the best!
it was food and acceptable for the purposes of dinner out. but wasnt above a generic average. there seemed to be possible staffing issue with several errors during ordering and issues with cold food being served. The atmosphere was comfortable. servings were very large. i probably wont return. it was handicap accessible in parking and with a ramp. I dis not venture into restrooms. there were familues with happy kids, so it seemed kid friendly.
The wedding soup was very salty and the chicken was grilled and very hard.
I'm happy the food was still good because it made up for the very outdated feel of the restaurant. Everything really needs a refresh, including the menus and unprofessional signage. If a business this size can't figure out credit card fees and seperate checks, then that's their problem and shouldn't be mine as the customer.
I ordered delivery lastnight. The delivery lady was super nice. I got a half pepp half cheese pizza which was delicious! but I also got this Margherita pizza and it was awful! Barely any mozz, no fresh basil like stated on the menu. It was very disappointing, not worth 20$. If they ran out of ingredients I wish they wouldve called me back or cancelled this particular pizza. Twin trees is fantastic so it was rly surprising that they'd let this rough pizza walk out the door.
Nice restaurant. Molly was our waitress and very pleasant. She brought my son the wrong chicken wings, but corrected it right away. When we were asked how our meal was we had food in our mouths unable to respond (I know, this happens everywhere). I had the Special 17.99 Chicken with Pasta. Not much chicken, and a whole lot of pasta. the meal filled me up because of all the pasta so I was disappointed (I really like Chicken!). not sure if we will go back, but if you like baseball and the NY Yankees, its a good place to hang out at the bar.We went on a Monday night and the meal took about 10 minutes after ordering it.
I'll never go back for inside service. This was the second time we ordered the open steak specials and they were wrong. A month ago it took almost an hour to get our food. Last week it took over 45 minutes, then they mistakenly switched our steaks. We have been going there for years. Every time we go we get a bottle of wine, the wine glasses are always filthy. I'm done with this establishment.
Waitress was ask to bring more water didn't had to ask another waitress I had asked for a blt she took order then came back and said they had no bacon ordered something meatball sub meatballs were just mediocre didn't taste very well when she gave the bill she neglected to take of the cost of blt not sure I will go there again
Took forever to finish food. Ordered hour ago. Still waiting on it. Sure it’s Saturday .. place isn’t packed.. could be staff shortage… but that means increase your wages right? Make people want to work there could be a solution.. def can afford it. 18 dollars for cheeseburger with fries. 😉
Be aware if you're ordering from the online menu - it may not be accurate. If you're carrying out, inspect your food at the register. Ordered the Milton Veggie Supreme (onions, peppers, mushrooms, olives - according to the online menu). In reality, it also comes with broccoli on it.
Ordered take out, the restaurant was nice people were nice, the food was not. Ordered Margherita pizza and chopped buffalo chicken salad, both were horrible. The chopped buffalo chicken salad was actually a house salad with a cut up chicken tender dredged in Buffalo sauce on the side. The Margherita pizza had no basil on it and regular tomatoes versus Roma tomatoes. The pizza had absolutely no flavor and the dough was soggy.
I guess 2 stars because they re made my pizza, because the 1st one was messed up.. but the remade pizza is terrible! No fricken red sauce at all, it's all cheese, and it looks like a 2 year old made it! It looks like they threw a bunch of diced onions on it and called it a day. Twin Trees should be ashamed to even let it out of this kitchen. And the wings tasted old! Avery next time. This is not the same pizza I remember 💔
Disappointed again. After 40 years of being a loyal Twin Tree’s patron, I am looking for a new place. 4th experience where the staff was dismissive and cold. All for pick up pizza orders. We order, arrive for pick up early, take time to inform the staff at the take out station, and the bar servers that we have an order in for pick up. We provide our names and time it was to be ready. Get a drink, inquire about our order, wait, go to pick up station and ask about status of order. Back to bar where we ask the bar staff to check -nothing. We wait. This goes on for an extra 25 minutes. When we finally receive our order. It is warm verging on cold with a soggy crust. You can have a bad night or two but this is routine. No sorry for the wait, or offer to adjust just rude. We won’t be back however we will share the experience.
Don't get pizza here on Sunday! You will get a deflated pizza. Im willing to bet it was old leftover doughs from the weekend that are old and over proofed. As seeing as a large garlic will run you about 15 or 16$ here, I at least thought it would be fresh. I don't see why this place feels their pizza is worth that. O.I.P. has a absolutely phenomenal garlic pizza for 10 bucks on Mondays. In fact the best I've had in this city. If your gonna make pizza at least make a fresh batch on a daily pizza. I feel like I got ripped off by a lazy cook and a inconsistent twin trees.
10/08/23 I placed an order for pick up. After getting home I realized that I had been charged a credit card processing, even though I paid with gift cards and cash, and I was shorted one of my items. I called the restaurant and was told that the cashier needed to remove the fee and most likely forgot. I asked if my missing item could be delivered and was told that I would have to go back and get the item, or I could receive credit for a future order. I stated that coming back was out of my way and would not happen and that I would like a refund. I was told that I can get a refund by stopping in when they are open next (10/11/23). 10/11/23 I called and spoke with Jennifer Rescignano. I asked if due to the inconvenience of not getting all my items and being inappropriately charged a credit car processing fee if they would just issue me a gift card in the amount of $25. Jennifer Rescignano stated that she would not be willing to do that and would only refund the price of the item and the credit card processing fee ($16.71). I said that due to the inconvenience I did not see asking for a $25 gift card to be a big ask. Again, I was told I will only refund the price of the item and the credit card processing fee. When I arrived at the restaurant Jennifer Rescignano proceeded to explain that she was only refunding me $1.25 in cash (the cash that was paid) and $15.46 on a gift card. I proceeded to state that this is not what we discussed on the phone earlier and she stated that as the owner that is all she is willing to do. Jennifer Rescignano started to get a bit of an attitude and I asked who owns the restaurant and she proceeded to say that she was the owner. I stated that the customer service that she has provided is sub-standard and I see why the restaurant has so many negative reviews. She then stated, “what restaurant do you own”, and implied that somehow, she is superior as she claims to own a restaurant. The funny part of the story is that upon investigation I have been able to confirm that Jennifer Rescignano does not own the restaurant. Her only true association is that she is married to Ronald Rescignano, one of the sons of the original owners. The Rescignano Family should seriously consider removing Jennifer Rescignano from any role in the business that puts her in direct contact with customers. Her behavior towards me, and from what I have read other customers, not only gives this location a bad reputation but could have an affect on other Twin Trees restaurants.
My son and I wanted to go to dinner, to a place where we used to go with his sister. In honor of her memory we went to twin trees two, after looking up their availability online. Which for Sunday March 19th it states that they're open until 9pm. Upon walking in we greet the hostess and ask for a table for two. He was reluctant to answer. Looked around and said "well we're done dining for the night" I politely asked, "and why is that?", Logan proceeded to tell me they were closing and were out of pizza. I informed and showed him politely on my phone the hours they have posted. He responded "well I don't know what to tell you" (very snappy). I then inquired if I was may order out. He handed me a pizza menu (after he told me they were done with pizza for the night). He walked away leaving us there confused. I was glancing at the menu and looked at my son in confusion because I was under the impression there wasn't any pizza left and we wanted to order a meal to go. We were waiting patiently when he started to head back the front from the back with another women. Who was later confirmed to be Jill. She walked up to the hostess stand and demanded "so what are you ordering" very sternly. Me at this point feeling very put off and guard up vibes from the crew members. I politely said.. "well ge handed us a pizza menus after telling us there was no pizza and just walked off." She proceeded to snatch the "late dining pizza menu" that Logan had left us with, smacked her teeth, then threw the menu (for meals) down on the counter... literally just smacked it down... I looked at my son and asked "what would you like bug?" They proceeded to stand there (the both of them and another women that followed them up) all glaring at us very ignorantly and impatiently. I've been going to this location since they opened I was a little girl, and I've been coming with my two kids the past couple of years now. I've never had this type of experience here. I've known personally plenty of the cooks, waitresses, bartenders, and bussers. I have never felt or been treated this way. At this point I felt very uncomfortable and I said exactly that.. "ever mind we'll go somewhere else because it's very clear we're not wanted here." They responded with chuckles, snatching the menus back up and turning their backs to us. I did make a remark that I was going to call and ask to speak to a supervisor because of the behavior. Logan proceeded to chuckle again with the unknown named women who was also standing up their. Mean while Jill responded, "I can call the owner for you right now". With a VERY condescending tone. I nor my family whom attend the location a lot will NOT be going back. We actually were just their yesterday as a big family for a afterpass (meal after funeral) we were shocked with the treatment we received tonight and we won't be going back anytime soon. I called the restaurant as I informed I would and spoke to a manager, Melissa and informed her of this encounter. She replied "there's nothing I can do because I wasn't up there." I informed her that that was a very unethical response and that I would like to speak with someone over her. She informed me she would have the owner call me back without asking any of my information.
The wife and I went to Twin Trees Too last night, a restaurant we go to frequently ever since they opened years ago. We found a parking spot easily and were seated quickly because they weren't very busy. We were seated in the first dining room to the right when you walk in. They sat us quickly to a booth. My wife and I both noticed that we were crunched in with hardly any room, and we are not big people at all. It was pretty uncomfortable but we said we would deal with it. Our waitress came over quickly to get our drink order. She came back fairly quickly with our drinks and then rushed us to order our meal. We pretty much knew what we wanted because we have been coming here for years if not decades. So we first asked her for a small antipasto to start with. She said sorry we only offer a large now. Now the large is big enough to feed 5 or 6 people and cost $14 or $15. Way too much salad for 2 people not to mention the price. We wanted it so we ordered it with crumbly blue cheese on the side, and an order of wings and a small pizza. She returned quickly and just set the antipasto and plates down not saying anything and walking away quickly like we were putting her out in someway. She also had forgot the crumbly blue cheese we ordered on the side for the antipasto. We then tried for several mins to get her attention so we could get the blue cheese that she forgot, that we got charged $5.00 for. Finally after eating half our salad and 5 or 6 mins later my wife waved her hand to get her attention and she snapped at us and said she'll be there in a min. When she finally came over I told her we needed the blue cheese. She didn't say anything and went to get it and came back setting on the table in a way that made my wife and I feel guilty for making her get the blue cheese. Crazy right? Then came the wings and the pizza which she just set down again like we were being pain in the @sses, and shouldn't be there. We needed more blue cheese for our wings and more napkins and when I asked for them I felt like I was again putting her out. Last I knew she was supposed to be serving us. So when she came back and threw the napkins and parmesan cheese instead of blue cheese for the wings on the table and left again. At this point I wasn't about to call her over again for the blue cheese in fear she would kill us. So I got up and went to the front reception area and told the girl there if I could get some blue cheese for because my waitress was too busy. She gladly helped me and gave me the blue cheese . While I was returning to my booth our waitress seen me and yelled at me about not having my mask on. At this point I was boiling mad. I told my wife lets just eat and get the hell out of here. When it was time for the check our waitress came over and finally asked if we were all set or need anything else. I couldn't say anything I was so frustrated, my wife said "just the check please." The check came and it was $58.89. Seems pretty high for salad wings and a small pizza. The food was good but the service ruined the meal for us. My wife and I have been going out to eat for decades and this was the first time I had never left a tip. It was good food but terrible service. although, with not paying a tip we got a 20% discount, Although we prefer good service and good food and leaving a 20- 25% tip. We will not be coming back for a while now.
I ordered volka pasta on my lunch break of 15 hrs shift Sunday 7:30pm first they messed my order up than gets upset because I didn’t want the order at half price than come back out and tell me they don’t have penne so I got ziti ok fine 20 more mins later, I received my food cold no sauce and old smelly red sauce that was supposed to be for the garlic bread and since they closed by time I get back to work 15 mins away I have v to wait till the morning to return this food.
Pizza was terrible. We normally dine at Twin Trees on Avery but had a gift card to Twin Trees Too. We were expecting the same great pizza, but we were so disappointed. The crust was dry and tough, the toppings were minimal and tasteless and the cheese on top was scorched. In addition we had to wait 45 minutes ! We will never order from them again.
We ordered a large pizza and it looked like a medium. Also wasn't sliced in stripes and taste different. Won't be ordering anything from them again. Not a happy customer.
It was very disappointed with my meal and service tonight. We are normally frequent customers of Twin Trees Too, but we haven't been there since the pandemic. Based on our past experience, the meals and service there have always been very good to excellent. Normally Twin Trees Too is always very busy on Saturday night but it wasn't tonight. Tonight I ordered the open steak, broccoli and a dinner salad. I've never ordered the open steak, but it's their special two nights out of every week so I assumed it must be very good. We waited quite a while for my wife's soup to arrive. If I was thinking about it I should have realized that my salad should have arrived at the same time as the soup. But it did not. Then we waited quite a long time for our dinners to arrive. Only then did I realized I never received my salad. I figured I'll just eat my dinner because there's no reason for the salad at that point. Unfortunately my steak was very cold and it was hard to chew through in spots. The bright spot the broccoli was delicious. The steak wasn't on top of a piece of garlic bread as I would have expected and we never received any dinner rolls. Is that because of the pandemic? Does Twin Trees Too not serve bread anymore? When the waitress brought the check I mentioned to her that I never received my salad and she couldn't have cared less. She did offer to get a dinner salad to go. I declined because why would I want a salad at that point. I just realized now that she never even expressed any sympathy for the mistake. I always leave at least a 15% tip no matter how bad the service is. Tonight I left 10% and probably should have left nothing. What is most disappointing is the meals and service there are always very good to excellent, but tonight that wasn't the case and the waitress didn't seem to care. I hope tonight was an aberration from their normal good meals and service.
Will never order pizza from any of the Twin Trees locations again, although it had been my favorite pizza for decades. Pizza was cold and tasted terrible-nothing like the TTT pizza I have loved in the past. I actually threw it away. This place will not last long unless they address these issues and soon.
I'm highly disappointed. We ordered 2 chicken bacon ranch pizzas and the toppings were all on one side of the pizzas and they didn't cut the crust all the way through so it wasn't coming apart right. We ended up throwing it out and going some where else wasting the money we spent for pizza.
We picked up a large sausage/mushroom pizza last night. The bottom crust was like paper. One couldn’t lift a piece without everything sliding off. We ended up just picking at the top and throwing the gummy base away. The sauce was made with too much black pepper. We like hot spicy food but this tasted like someone was just not paying attention. Twin trees has always been our favorite but I think it’s time to find a new spot.
We scheduled a reservation- called ahead when it increased to 16 adults and 2 children. We love this restaurant and have been coming here for 8 years. I waited to have my party here so all of my out of town guest could come here to this restaurant! The manager told us we needed to be quiet and if we didn’t like it we could leave. We were never told we needed a banquet room. The manager told us we cannot speak to someone above her - and maybe we should leave and go somewhere else. My mother is so frustrated she is crying. We spend good money here and I will never come back here again. So much for being a family friendly restaurant you should be ashamed of yourselves. On the happiest day of my life I have to be humiliated In front of my guests who traveled across states to be here. I am so upset I can’t even eat now. Thanks twin trees.
Will never go back. We had been long time customers for take out. The food just got worse and worse. We had wings that were double fried. So we stopped going for over a year. We decided to give them another try on New Years Day. I called to make sure they were open and ask if they still did the lunch buffet. Which they said they stopped that a couple months ago. We decided to call back and place a pick up order. Whoever answered the phone was so rude. When she answered she said "Hello" rudely. Not "Twin trees too how can I help you" like they usually do. I asked if this was twin trees because I wanted to make sure I dialed the right number. She said "Well duh what do you want" I then said nothing because you didn't have to be so damn rude. So they have lost us again. We will continue to drive past two twin trees businesses to go to Twin Trees III. They rock over there.
Not what it used to be. Pizza doesn’t taste the same. Mini meatballs seemed like they were store bought frozen. Carpet was sticky in several spots
This place really needs to be renovated. It smells and the staff looks disgusting! I’d never step foot in there again. Oh, and the food is terrible.. Enough of it will definitely give you a bad stomach ache! Only one waitress in there that’s really good. The older blonde woman. She was fabulous! I think who’s reading this knows who..
So disappointed with our experience here. We’re visiting from out of town and thought the menu looked promising. My daughter ordered spaghetti thinking she was getting buttered noodles, our mistake. She tried the pasta and really didn’t like the sauce, so we ordered her something else. I totally understand it was not the restaurant’s fault, and I didn’t expect it to be comped, but since she didn’t like and didn’t eat it, many places would have taken it off the bill. No big deal until I found a hair in my meal. I again didn’t complain, but when our server asked if I wanted a box and my response was “no, there was a hair in it” I was pretty disappointed that she completely dismissed it without any concern or apology. I decided right then and there I’d be writhing this review to forewarn others who are considering visiting to prevent their trip to Syracuse from being as disappointing.
First, the person who answered the phone was rude.Ordered a Antiposto Supreme. Get home open it. You could smell the sour lettuce and could tell it had been sitting, pre maid I assume.. Soggy wilted lettuce, almost frozen tomatos, bananna peppers were soggy and un eatable.Forgot our Blue Chees dressing .
This place is NOT what it used to be. Our family took my mom out for a weekend show and dinner afterwards. The show was great, unfortunately Twin Trees was not. The wine glass had lip marks. My silverware had food on it. My mom’s fish was served cold, and then they heated up the same fish and brought it back. I got the chicken riggies and they tasted awful. On top of that, they were out of so many items by 7 o’clock - fried fish, soup, peppers for a salad. So many things we asked for, they were all out of. The paper towels in the bathroom weren’t working. Thankfully with every complaint the server tried to fix it, but we shouldn’t have to complain to have a decent meal. This once great place leaves A LOT to be desired. My family all agreed we probably wouldn’t be coming back.
Ordered over phone and was specific that i wanted a small chef salad but this is what i got wilted lettuce and no chef salad so i call. I’m told a manager would help me and all i got was i was rung up for a house salad and a boiled egg when i ordered a chef salad add egg. Not complicated at all. Needless to say the manager was rude and not helpful at all. I just wanted my chef salad and would have paid but never will i ever go to their establishment again and i ordered twice a week from this business. Hard to find good customer service!
I've been a frequent visitor to Twin Trees Too since it opened - nearly 50 years ago. I'm actually very sorry to say that this last visit may be the end of the road. Over the past few years .. really ever since Ronnie Ross (owner) passed away, the pizza has been horrible and service questionable. To detail: pizza was soggy - despite when ordering asking for " extra crispy"; even when having them take back to cook further in oven - it was still floppy and soggy. This has been a problem for at least our last 6 visits - as I continually hoped it was just a"bad night". On top of the very poor pizza (which all 6 in attendance claimed it was the worst pizza they've eaten in a long time) and wings (that were exactly the opposite of how we ordered them) .. service was terrible. I actually had to get up myself to track down our plates and napkins! The waitress was kind - but clearly stressed and out of sorts. Twin Trees Too was always my go to restaurant when our kids came in from out of town .. but sad to say no more. I've given them their last chance. There are other fine restaurants that will provide us with a much better dining experience.
Completely lousy experience. Orders were delivered incorrectly, food was running out (example scallops, cole slaw, broccoli, baked potatoes),some of our party of 13 never got their food until we were ready to leave, manager couldn't be civil and wouldn't comp anything. It was supposed to be a lovely relaxing evening to celebrate a recently passed family member but was made extremely unpleasant to the point of ridiculous. Very disappointing experience, we won't come back.
I recently ordered a large pepperoni pizza and an order of Utica greens for pickup. Ive ordered pizzas plenty of times and they are always delicious. Not sure what happened this time other than the top came of the seasoning and dumped on the pizza. We were unable to eat it. There was so much Italian seasoning or whatever they use you could feel it in your mouth when you took a bite of the pizza. The Utica greens went in the garbage. First problem is they were oily. Again, I dont know how they prepared these but they were actually oily. Then instead of breadcrumbs which is what is typically used on top of utica greens there was mozzarella cheese. Yet another issue was the fact that I paid 12.99 for this order of greens to actually receive approximately 1 cup in a greasy pile on aluminum foil in the takeout container. So after spending over 30.00 on dinner for myself and my 2 grandsons we were very disappointed.
We came up for a wedding and a funeral from Florida and my memory of Twin Trees Too was all I could wish for Then we got here and found out how much things have changed since we’ve left Syracuse. The food was not good at all anymore from what it used to be ! No so great service , they couldn’t wait to get us out of there for some reason they close at eight now apparently because they can’t get any help what a sad world this has become my favorite pizza place has turned out to be horrible.
We ordered a large pizza, and a Philly sandwich. The pizza was not only burnt but had a very soggy so called crust. The Philly sandwich had a sliver of cheese and was extremely salty and the fries were cold. What happened to this restaurant? It was always a great place to go.Unfortunately that has changed.
