Tucked away in West Ibor, Barterhouse is a luxury experience for all to enjoy! An upscale experience with a touch of southern cuisine and hospitality always seems to find me! My bestie and I enjoyed, fried gnocchi with a gourmet house-made, tomato-based cream sauce, gnocchi and pork belly, short rib with mashed potatoes, gravy, and speciality cocktails for dessert! Perfect space for a Girls’ Night Out, a dinner with colleagues, or a quick bite alone; customer service is 10/10 to boot! I couldn’t be more thankful for such a warm, exquisite experience during my first visit to Tampa!

Superb. Definitely a gem. I don't usually write anything in reviews, but this restaurant was an experience. "Allwell", gave us a great description of the food and it was phenomenal. We had the grouper and wagyu steak. They had craft drinks. So much I would like to say, but I'm not a good writer. We definitely will go back.

Every thing about Barterhouse was the best. Food was delicious, drinks were fantastic, and the service was spot on. We had fried gnocchi, grouper sandwich, cauliflower cacio e pepe. It was all wonderful. I will definitely be back!

We love the classic Ybor ambiance with a fresh twist! The drink menu was unique and super luscious! I had a perfect steak and the sweet potato pie was scrumptious. Our server was excellent and the pastry chef came to our table to talk about the dessert! The Christmas decorations wete fabulous 👌. Definitely will be goimg back

Super fun atmosphere for Christmas! We went for a special date night and service and food were perfect. Chris was our server and he was kind, attentive, knowledgable about the menu and gave great service. Food was delicious! We had a smashburger and the steak. One recommendation would be to have more info on the menu so we don’t have to ask questions about everything. We’d go here again.

Very nice place! The atmosphere is great and the Christmas decorations make it even better. The bartenders are on point. Mimi did a great job. They also occasionally have a DJ that plays great music. Definitely recommend if you want to grab a few drinks in the Ybor area 👍

Outstanding service!!! Food was awesome as well. Had a hickup with my fried Chicken meal. Manager came out immediately and apologized, gave me a beer on the house as well as my meal, which I ordered a Smash burger that was Excellent!! Would highly recommend due to the professional service of the Manager and staff, as well as really great food. Steak was A+, as well as the Shrimp and grits. Thanks for making our experience great for our first time at you establishment!!

I came for a meal and accidentally had a whole experience. This place knocked it out of the park with amazing food, great vibes, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to cancel your plans and stay for dessert. But let’s talk about the real star of the show — Nina. Our server? More like a hospitality wizard. She was attentive without hovering, funny without being distracting, and somehow always appeared exactly when we needed something as if she sensed it in the universe. Water glass low? Nina. Question about the menu? Nina. Considering life choices? Nina again. Every recommendation she made was spot-on, the timing was perfect, and her fun energy made the whole meal even better. Honestly, if excellent service were an Olympic sport, Nina would be bringing home gold medals and doing a victory lap while refilling your drink. If you eat here and don’t get Nina as your server, you’ll still have a great time… but you’ll be wondering what could’ve been. Do yourself a favor and ask for her. Your taste buds—and your mood—will thank you.

The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Ryan, who truly sets the tone for the entire place. He was professional, personable, and made sure everything ran seamlessly. You can tell he cares deeply about the guest experience. Barterhouse nails it on every level. Booked a reservation for date night and the vibes did not disappoint. Chris our server was very attentive and kind. The hostess was also so nice ! The Christmas setup is cute, one side is more festive then the other so if you’re there for the decor definitely ask to be sat on the left side. We had the clover festive drink (without the egg) and it was perfect. Pigs on a date and the tuna wonton for apps were so tasty. We had the catch of the day which was a great presentation but the taste was okay. Overall definitely recommend, the atmosphere and service was great. The kitchen was a little on the slow end so make sure you don’t come starving. It was a busy Saturday night though so we were understanding.

Ordered the Masters pimento app and it really good on presentation and taste. Dinner come out and it didnt meet the standard for what we were paying for and expecting. The wife got 3 chicken tenders on some soupy mashed potatoes with gravy. Nothing special at all. The porkbelly and gnocchi I recieved was good but served on a plate with chipped edges. At that point, we just ate and left. Nothing good to remember for this Birthday sadly.

I ordered the pork shank, which was a generous portion and very tender; however, it was overwhelmed by a strong vinaigrette flavor. While it wasn’t terrible, it was strongly one note. The dish was advertised to include boiled peanuts, but only came with a bean. Husband had a low country fish dish. It was flavorful, but husband said the seafood was lacking. On a positive note, the cornbread appetizer was enjoyable. Additionally, our waitress, Devon, provided good service.
