This was my first time here and I was blown away!! I have dietary restrictions and the staff made sure everything I wanted to try would fit in what I could eat. My husband loved the pulled pork sandwich, the collard greens were excellent with that right touch of spice. The baked cheesy potatoes were so wonderful creamy and cheesy. I cannot express how delicious the brisket was!! It was falling apart, perfect marblings, packed full of flavor!! We will be back.

I loved my experience here as a first time customer! My boyfriend and I went inside to view the menu since we were waiting to be seated at the restaurant next door. He has been to a Mission BBQ before but I had never been to one. The smell was amazing, and too hard to pass up. We ended up eating at Mission BBQ and wow was that the best decision we made. The collard greens were my favorite, as well as the sweet potato mash. The turkey was delicious too! My whole meal was incredible honestly haha. Thank you to Abby at the register for helping us with our experience (she was super sweet and helpful!) , and thank you to Cyndi for bringing us a delicious dessert to enjoy 🩷 Everyone was very kind and welcoming. It was such a good experience I highly recommend if you've never been and love some BBQ! The sweet tea was also really good!! Will be coming back 🥰

First time at Mission BBQ and wow! Got the pulled pork sandwich, brisket, and that banana pudding is a must. The mac and cheese and fries were awesome, too. Shoutout to the manager Heather—she’s an absolute sweetheart who made us feel so welcome. Can't wait to come back!

My friend and I had an amazing experience with her just welcoming us, suggesting the best option for us to eat and just so helfup, positive attitude and just a happy person. I’ve searched for years to find the perfect smoked brisket. Search over. And the Smoky Mountain Sauce was flavor on steroids. Carry out service was quick and served very cheerful and informed. Only problem is that Mission doesn’t have a location in Hilton Head Island SC or Savannah GA

This Mission BBQ is in a convenient location and was easy to find. The restaurant was clean, well staffed and we were greeted quickly with smiles all around. The menu spans lots of BBQ options and has a variety of sides to choose from to add to your order. We ordered the Turkey Sandwich with Green Beans along with the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Fries. Both came out fairly quickly and cooked well. We also tried the Banana Puddin'. There are several bottle varieties of sauces to use should you want to add flavor (though none is really needed). They also have seasonings like Old Bay to sprinkle on your fries if you wish. Standard pricing as restaurants go nowadays. And no, they did not push giving a tip. I'm sure you could give one if you wish however it's an order up front and you pick it up type place so no tip is suggested. The place is decorated with first responder and military memorabilia and wording to never forget 911. An overall great place to eat and proud to go there.

Let me start by saying that I'm usually not a big fan of chain BBQ restaurants. This place exceeded all expectations. The service was top-tier. They even sent out an array of samples because it was my first time here. That alone is something that's valuable and makes you want to come back. I had the 3 meat sample with the ribs which were good- not the best but good enough to come back. The brisket was good and the pulled pork was also good. The Banana Pudding was really good. Overall, the food was good and I plan to go back there next weekend.

For what they charge for the pork XL you should be able to get two sides for what the charge ( my opinion ) now I will have to say everything was good ! Charles was very helpful at the register, they unfortunately forgot my cornbread, and he noticed came to pick my tray back up and brought me the cornbread. Ryne also checked in with us as well ! Ari was very sweet and made my experience great! The food is also delicious and they have so many sauces to choose from. Customer service and staff were great, not often do you see people who love their job! Regardless of the food I would come back just for the kindness.

He said that every single one of them and there were absolutely nice as they could be as always.

If I could give more stars I would. From the moment my daughter an I walked in the customer service was very welcoming. Kane welcomed us with a warm smile and acknowledged us straight away. And Sophia the manager was also on point with her warm welcome and also was so kind especially when the cheesy potatoes were still cooking and they could not give them to my daughter with our food. It wasn’t even an issue but she made sure before we left my daughter was going to have her cheesy potatoes. Also Dammy was super kind in checking on us making sure our food was good and we were taken care of. I mean I have been in the customer service industry for a very long time and after a hard days work to go in there to grab a bite to eat and feel so welcomed so taken care of that it turned our hard days right around. And the best part is that all the kindness hard work they put into everything like Beau Nicole Chelsea and Carson as well the entire staff shows not only in the atmosphere the customer service it shows in the warm delicious food they make homeade daily. Now isn’t that something to be grateful for. So my daughter and I are blessed and grateful to have stopped in when we did to the Mission BBQ on 13612 Bruce B Downs in Tampa. I highly recommend for you to stop in for yourselves to experience the amazing hospitality the great and delicious food and the warmth in the atmosphere. I literally had the BEST service from everyone at the location. Out of all the MISSION restaurants I've been to this has been the absolute best. From the time that I walk in, Natalia greeted us with the brightest smile. She talked me into tasting the turkey and I'm glad she did because it was amazing. The cook Sophia was AMAZING!!!! I didn't realize they were about to closed but she gave me all of my food fresh and I really appreciate her doing that. Also, Ari (I think that's her name) & Sammy we're so sweet and nice. I always say, it doesn't cost to be nice to people and displayed that from the time I walked in. I hope someone recognize them because good service like this is so hard to find. I wanted to know everyone's name because I believe in honoring those that are genuinely nice.

My husband and I visited Mission BBQ a couple days ago. We enjoyed our meals. The person who took our order was very helpful as this was our first visit to a Mission BBQ location. Hubby ordered the brisket and sausage with Mac n cheese and greens. I went with the pulled pork sandwich with cold slaw, yes cold and baked beans. Everything was delicious but the baked beans were among my favorite. They have many different sauces to choose from and the dining room attendant, Nicholas, was very nice and knowledgeable. He was awesomely attendant and even let us sample the strawberry shortcake and banana pudding. The portions are very generous so neither of us finished our whole meal. Overall this is a great BBQ spot that we will definitely come back to when in the area. Oh and I love that they support our service members. Very patriotic!

As of April 2023 there were 95 of these restaurants in the United States. All of the locations that I have been to have the same basic layout. You order and pay at one end of a counter and when your name is called, you pick up your food. The seating is wooden booths around the edge of the inner dining room with tables in the middle. Drinks are a serve-yourself affair right after the counter. First responders and military memorabilia line the walls. Food is served on metal trays and, obviously centers around barbeque. Each table has 6 barbeque sauces to choose from offering a variety of tastes for the customer. The food at this location was delicious. I had fries and a BBQ sandwich with tea. The staff was nice and the dining room and tables were kept clean. The prices are very reasonable for the current economy—definitely a place to visit for a good meal in the area.

We ordered catering for 10 people for Works Christmas party lunch. We had the pork, the chicken and the brisket we also ordered the green beans the regular beans and cornbread. The pork was extremely dry and had an old flavor to it. The chicken was mostly dark meat and also had an odd flavor to it. The brisket was in this soupy sauce there were no chunks of brisket in it it was like mostly barbecue sauce it was pretty gross. The beans had so much fat they were floating in it we had to actually drain some of it off to get to the beans. I had such high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. I honestly don't know what the hype is I would never spend $270 again on this place

I want to start off by saying the customer service at Mission BBQ was absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and showed such genuine respect for veterans, something I truly appreciate. The atmosphere was warm and patriotic, which made the experience feel really special. However, the food on today’s visit (October 20th) unfortunately missed the mark. The brisket was very dry and a bit burnt, and the ribs had no juiciness to them at all. The cornbread completely crumbled apart, it was so dry that each bite was tough to enjoy. Even the complimentary brownie was overcooked, dry, and crunchy instead of moist and rich. The mac and cheese was decent, though a bit watery instead of creamy and thick, and the baked beans were just okay. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were excellent, the food quality today was disappointing. I truly hope this was just an off day in the kitchen because I would come back for the great staff and respectful environment alone.

The people were friendly, the restaurant was clean but in all honesty it was the worse BBQ I have EVER had! The baby back ribs were dry, no sauce, I think it was dry rub and boy was it dry!! They gave me sauce that apparently is straight out of a bottle. The cole slaw was very dry and tasteless. The beans “with brisket” (chunks of meat) tasted like baked beans out of a can. Winn Dixie’s BBQ beans are WAY better!!! But I have to say that piece of cornbread pretty good though! Just couldn’t make a meal out of cornbread. They make lots of mention about their “mission” to support military and first responders, how much money they donate to causes that support the above mentioned groups (I am a retired firefighter). I applaud those efforts but now I know why I never see lots of cars in the parking lot (there were 3 when I arrived at 6:pm). But come on guys! I’ve had better babyback ribs at Applebee’s or Sonny’s BBQ! 5 dry ribs, “bake” beans, dry, tasteless coleslaw and a piece of cornbread (the best part) for $21 bucks??? Your “mission” should be your food, not how great you are because of your service to military causes. As the saying goes, “I’ll see you at Applebees”!
