I’ve loved this place for years now. My girl friend and I come here every couple of weeks. The sushi is consistently top notch. I personally love that the volume is managed nicely enough that having conversation is easy. Always look forward to eating here.

Food was marvelous! Perfect place for a cozy date night. The atmosphere was welcoming. Staff were friendly and attentive. The cherry on top is finding a dish that my picky partner enjoys, as well as a Tofu dish that even this meat-lover would choose over chicken. The Tofu Hibachi is just to-die-for, and the Crab Rangoons are both flaky and overstuffed. My partner has had lots of Tofu in the past, and they said this was the best they've had. We will absolutely be making Sushi Avenue a new regular date night for the both of us.

Had sushi all over Tampa this is by far the best place in terms of quality all the fried tempura dishes crunchy and the fish fresh as can be!

I have been going here for a few years now and the food is always excellent, high quality seafood. You can tell that everything is fresh and made with love. The service is always amazing and food comes out very quickly. Any sushi lover should check them out:)

I love this place. I grew up in LA where sushi is top notch - I’ve been here 7 years and this is the only place that comes close to tasting like sushi from back home. The simplicity and freshness of the raw sushi rolls are superior and what sushi is supposed to taste like. It’s always worth the 35 min drive to eat here. I come here specifically for the Corona Roll, spicy tuna roll, and yellowfin Kama. Spicy lobster roll is also very good.

This place is a hidden gem! The fish is incredibly fresh, and every bite is packed with flavor. The rolls are beautifully crafted, and the sashimi melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is just as welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed night out. Highly recommend!

This is our favorite local sushi place! The food is always fresh and delicious, and their service is always excellent. We eat here and pick up from here often. Sushi Avenue is the best!

The sushi was fresh and well prepared, as expected. The sweet wasabi and ponzu sauces were a nice complement as well. Our server was also very nice and attentive. Then we finished with the fried ice cream, which our son loved! Thanks for having us!

We really love the corona roll, it’s so refreshing with a citrus twist; delicious! The PLAYBOY was fabulous! The set it on fire and it has a great smoky flavor; amazing! This place is great!

Great prices, great quality, great place - just wish we lived closer!! We ordered all four specials on the board, plus the Lobster Tempura roll and loved them all!! Even brought home some leftovers and our son devoured them!! The specials were Island, Monster, White Dragon and (?) something else, wish I’d taken a pic of that too!! I’m serious, the only complaint is that we live over an hour away. Otherwise, we would be going back for every special occasion and on weeknights, just for fun. The Happy Hour prices are also amazing, so we grabbed a beer and a hot sake too. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area!!

A very small sushi spot that was thankfully not overly busy the night we went. The sushi rolls are on the smaller side and the dish presentation could be worked on but the sushi and hibachi was not the worst. Both were quite enjoyable and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. I had the volcano roll which was quite good and my husband had the shrimp fried rice which he said was tasty, especially with some Sriracha added. Wouldn't be my top choice for a sushi spot but also would not be opposed to returning.

The sushi is amazing however they seriously need more chefs and better servers. We sat and waited 15 minutes just for her to bring waters. Then after waiting 30 minutes for one of our four rolls to come it was made incorrectly. Then had to wait even longer for the others. They also are making all their togo orders ahead of making the people’s sitting in the store.

I ordered take out for my Dad and he was extremely disappointed, he said the food fish tasted old and that it just wasn’t good. We called his order in and my Dad can be VERY picky. Our waitress was nice and I did not bother to complain for this birthday lunch but we ordered two lunch sushi specials 14.99 food tasted as if i might get sick , had a not so pleasant taste as if it was not fresh. We expect quality for our money and bought a drink each so $50 dollars spent and we will never be back. As a sushi chef I would expect you to know your product.
