Had a wonderful dining experience. Arrived around around noon on a Sunday, it was a full house w/people waiting to be seated. Got seated at the bar immediately. Our waitress and our food was excellent. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and my better half had the breakfast sampler platter and we shared the large fried zucchini, we were both happy and stuffed. 100% recommend dining here!

Such a cute place inside you feel like you've stepped into a different era. The patio outside has a whole different vibe but one I would enjoy weather permitting. Had a great breakfast of biscuits and gravy, eggs, and hash browns, pleasantly surprised that the dish was a favorable portion and quite good too! The food was served quickly which is always a bonus. Can't wait to try this place for lunch or dinner.

We came here on friday at around noon. Got the bbq sampler. Brisket was a bit rubbery, was possibly cooked on to high temp too fast, they gave us a rarer cut when we asked for a exchange. Wood flavor was on point for the ribs and chicken though. Those were cooked great. Side Salad extra was fantastic. This bbq sampler comes with a strawberry short cake that was divine. We washed it all down with a strawberry lemonade and expresso shake and water. Any drinks u dont finish u can take to go with a to go cup. Fantastic fast service by the waitresses. I will be back. Very homey feel american old school diner with great food.

Are here the other day with a large crew of guys as a last meal before our buddy got married later that day! Food and service were fantastic! Can’t say enough good things about this place! Had lunch and breakfast - The turkey club croissant was delicious, red potato salad was perfectly seasoned (not too much mayo). Biscuits and gravy are hard for restaurants, but these were good, not too dry biscuit, gravy well seasoned, and the home fries were really good.

This is a great casual dining space, perfect for families. The service was amazing- our server was outstanding with 7-11 year olds. The food was exactly what kids would want: grilled cheese, chicken fingers, big baskets of fries, and ice cream.

An amazing local staple with down-home wholesome food, great service, and a very clean and well maintained restaurant. I've been eating here for years, and it has never been disappointing. The menu is also full of options, even for the pickiest of eaters.

Came in to have some breakfast and lunch with my sister. And it was delicious. Fiest of all the server was super friendly. My sister had the turkey croissant breakfast sandwich and it was good. It wasn't dry like other places we have gone to. I my self had the bbq sliders with the potatoes salad and coleslaw. The BBQ was soooo good!! Super tender and the mango BBQ sauce was delish. Definitely will be coming back again.

We were first time patrons at Richies Real Ameeican Diner. Visited the Temecula, CA location. The food was scrumptiously delicious country cookin. Great menu selections and yummy old faahion shakes and floats and desserts. The hostess, servers and other support staff were so attentive and helpful. Loved the fun, retro dining atmosphere. When we approached the diner they were grilling and BBQ'in an assortment of meats on a wood grill. Enjoyable venue for dining, special ocassions and happy hour. My family and I will definitely patronage Richie's Real American Diner again when we're in the vicinity, down the road from Pechanga Resort and Casino.

Steaks are super yummy and perfect and they throw your steak on an actual bbquer... A++..... Service is usually good but this last time we went was close to closing so service wasn't as good as it usually is but I'm sure the waitress was exhausted as this place is a popular spot. So with that said service was slow but our waitress was very kind and we still left a great tip for her.

Feel's like It takes me back to home made food I used to get in restaurants, I'm 86 and can remember going back to the 40s and 50s.

This is what I would call an all-star diner! They have Great seating with a American diner feel with a touch of retro. The menu is amazing as it has such a variety of items and the food was delicious. I can't decide which was better the food or the great service. The server was so friendly and so accommodating. We don't live in the Temecula area but do have family that lives there and we've decided this is a must stop every time we visit.

I had an excellent morning today when I visited The Richie's Real American Diner. When you walk in the first thing you see is checkered tile flooring, patriotic posters, striped booths and waiters/waitresses dashing back and forth. It's really felt like I was dropped into a diner scene from the late 50's. Hailey was my waitress for the day and she was quick and courteous. Had my order taken down quick as you like, and even reminded me to get a water since I ordered a shake. When I finished my meal she had the check ready and everything. 10/10 service. I got the ditty(diddy?) Fried steak and eggs with a double mocha cappuccino chocolate shake. The shake was by far my favorite of the whole meal. When they make it, any excess left after filling the glass is brought over with the metal shaker with a long spoon. It tasted perfect. They cooked the steak perfectly, had a nice crunch and the white peppered gravy went perfectly with it. The cooked my hashbrowns to a beautiful golden brown. Perfection. TL:DR a great place to start the day with great waitstaff and even better food.

What a wonderful diner. Super clean, well maintained, cute vintage diner. Comfortable booths, lively staff & fantastic food. Everything was delicious, fresh, & you get fair portions for your price. It was super busy & fairly so. ABSOLUTELY stop here for breakfast or lunch if you can. The fantastic 4 Tri Tip breakfast was so very satisfying. Thank you to the staff at Richies! We'll be back again if we are in the area!

Richie's Diner is a fun place to visit. The food is great with many choices of soups, salads, sandwiches, BQ etc. Great desserts too including pies, cakes, ice cream and a wonderful Banana Split big enough to share. We'll worth a visit.

Great diner. Reminds me of the Tbird diner from way back in the day. Huge portions. The cinnamon rolls are the size of the plate. If you're going there on a weekend expect a little bit of a wait as this place is very popular especially for bikers and car enthusiasts. 50s malt shop vibe. Perfection in Temecula.

This clean and organized retro-style diner, is located in the 'Villages @ Paseo del Sol' shopping center on Temecula Pkwy (Hwy 79 South) and Camino Del Sol, by the Home Depot with plenty of parking. Fun, 50s-inspired decor, with classic booth and counter seating. There's also outdoor/patio seating. We enjoy the Murrieta location, but we wanted to try this location as well. We visited for breakfast in need of coffee. My mom loves that her senior meal comes with a hot cup of coffee included. I had their "Pride of the Diner #1" which consists of two eggs, strips of perfectly cooked bacon, homestyle potatoes, and a fresh and fluffy cinnamon roll. The included premium Colombian coffee was fresh, smooth, and rich. Everything tasted really good! Service was great. Roxana and Stella were very attentive making sure our coffee cups were never empty. You pay your bill at the register when done. I love that they have a wood smoker in the front. Definitely coming back for lunch or dinner.

We are from Northern California and have been in town for about a week and heard about this nice family style restaurant. We have been there three times this week. Michelle has been our waitress and she is absolutely one of the most spirited people around. Full of energy and polite. As the day is long. They bring out lots of food and are continually checking on you. It's kind of a a '50s 60 theme route 66 type restaurant. Really well run and can't say a bad thing about it! We go there in the morning just for coffee.

Let me start by saying this was THE FASTEST SERVICE I've had in a long time. Wow, the kitchen staff knows what their doing. We were seated right away without waiting, the food itself was delicious, and you get a large portion. I had breakfast and definitely want to come back and try their lunch menu. I love that they bbq their own meats...tri tip for breakfast? yes, please! Also, please try the 5 berry jam because it's really good, I bought a jar on the way out.

This place is a gem! Jack was an icon in the restaurant game for many many years and then he opened this 50's style diner. He ran it with the idea of great food, reasonable pricing and awesome service! Many time you would see Jack here walking around letting everyone know how beautiful and awesome they were before his death a few years back... Not the same without him, but the food, service and decor are still top notch. The bbq is great, burgers are delicious and pretty much any entree you choose is a winner. You can sit inside and enjoy the decor and 50's music or sit outside on the patio and enjoy the fresh Temecula air.

Stopped in for breakfast and was greeted at the door and sat at a booth right away. It was just about a full house with just some seats left at the counter facing the kitchen. I had the eggs Benedict with home style potatoes, and my wife had the sirloin steak and eggs. Both were delicious. We shared a large fresh squeezed orange juice served in a frosty cold 22 oz. mug. Excellent service and authentic 50s style diner experience.

We'll be back to fill their tummies Read the reviews and we decided to go have breakfast. As you walk up you see the BBQ grill and the wonderful smell. They're not playing around and just saying that's it's BBQ I actually say then taking ribs of the grill and they looked wonderful. We had Lauren as our server and she was great. It was busy but she was on top of everything. I ordered the breakfast sampler no eggs with extra hash browns and the Cinnamon roll. The meats were still good, next time I'll get another piece of tri-tip instead since it was so good. My cousin has the best breakfast. This place has so many options and the food is fresh and tasty. The fresh oj was really good too. I'll definitely be back with the family.

My waitress was the bomb! She was experienced and had worked there for decades and was filled with great enthusiasm, pride and menu knowledge. She really made the difference and made up for the sticker shock of the prices I did not expect for a “diner”; then again, going in I didn’t also understand that most everything was made in house. Regardless, the prices are high for a diner, especially when sides are priced and sold a la carte which is contrary to the traditional concept of a “diner”. Knowing that now, I’ll be more prepared next time for $16 burgers and over $20-$25 dinner plates and beef plates $27 - $40 with one side. We still enjoyed the whole experience and will be back to give breakfast a try. I hear it is really tasty. I loved that the owner, in her 90s, still is onsite and makes her rounds to the tables where locals know her personally. Loved the true Americana 🇺🇸 which is so very rare these days. The potato salad was just like my late mom’s recipe, it brought tears to my eyes…. The malt shoppe deserts and shakes looked fantastic! I was thrilled to find a place that served actual corned beef on the Ruben despite the sandwich being very thin, the sauerkraut layer was also scarce but at least it wasn’t over processed & canned corned beef versions. My husband’s steak was quality but could have been cooked better and was a bit dry. Like I said- the service, community energy & potato salad made the difference for this first time patron. Next time I’ll start with a desert so I don’t miss out! 😂 I’m saddened by the review concerning the service dog discrimination and had I seen it prior to visiting I probably would’ve passed this place up honestly. (Management: please abide by the law and understand that service animals are not expected to eat outside or wait in the car- it’s nice that pets are allowed outside but service animals are not “pets”.)

Steak and eggs are excellent here also the pancakes are old-fashioned . All the breakfast are delicious. You can't go wrong with the breakfast, plus if you want to bring your pet you could bring them and eat in the patio. That's a plus always

Everyone seemed satisfied with their food. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything you order. The service was exceptionally fast, Especially given how crowded the restaurant was at that time and our waitress Haley was very friendly and accommodating. We normally really like this place but today was not a good day for them. Portions were small and the food was not very good poorly made. My wife got sick afterwards I didn't have any problem but it just wasn't good. We will go back again and give him a try, our other visits were a very good experience so going to chalk this one up as a one off. Update 9/19 food was pretty good today and the service was excellent only downside we had was asking for grilled onions in the hash browns they sauteed some full size onions and throw them on top seems like this is a request that that people aren't used to taking anymore. Other than that everything was good.

Well, how do I put this ??! First , daughter’s order was not cooked right and was cold, the bacon tasted like puppy chow and mixed in bake potato. We then order a banana split with all fixings, were excited for it to arrive and it shows up looks great and then, my daughters first bite has a long black hair all in the ice cream and topping. This is the one on 79 South. Love the one on Hancock in Murrieta.

A real American diner, is it? Does a real American diner tell a new line cook they must learn Spanish to better work there? Lead manager needs schooling. He really needs to be looked into by the owners, i don't think they would approve of alot of his actions if they knew, i hope they are not aware, And become aware after this. Food is great service is great, but inside knowledge makes eating there difficult.

Customer service was very sweet. Bathrooms could use some cleaning. The food was nothing special. But if you enjoy the flavors from back in the days, this might be the place for you. I give a restaurant 3 chances before I decide to not go back...so this is day 1

I liked the breakfast I ordered, sweet potato pancakes. Sadly I had to take my glass to the counter to request an iced tea refill. A lively server, Roxy, handled the request promptly. Due to her I will return for breakfast Tuesday. Roxy also cashed me out when I finished. I appreciate good service and will always visit places with good service. I expect to give 5 stars tomorrow. Nope, only 3 stars due to the customer service. Servers doing their job is not customer service. They sent their best server, Roxy, home early.

Took the kids here to eat for dinner. It’s a classic retro diner with a super wide variety of items on the menu. Great atmosphere, visually stimulating, and staff very nice and attentive. Unfortunately however the food quality at least on this occasion didn’t match the rest of the experience. I’ll give a plus for big food portions if that’s one of your criteria, but the kids plates were way big. More like a full sized adult meal. 2 kids should split one quesadilla. I ordered the Reuben and it was pretty dry and lack the kick needed from the sauerkraut and thousand island. One kid’s hot dog was way over cooked and tough to eat. The quesadilla was good. I think this place has good potential if more attention was paid to the food relative to the environment. May try it again in future if reviews encourage.

Came to Richie's for brunch on a Sunday and was lucky that we beat the lunch crowd and did not have to wait. Their baby back ribs was delicious. My friend thinks his chicken was a bit dry and the salad dressing was bland. Their shakes are delicious though. The decors inside has its 60s American diner theme matched with red colored booths. They also sell their fruit jams and sauces at the counter.

Bro the food is mid. Theming is cute tho. Service was ok. But I was called out for ordering off the kids menu 😭😭 like girl mind your own business. There were 3 other people in my group that also did but never got called out. Only I did. I was just not hungry and didn’t feel like spending $30 on a meal that I’m not gonna enjoy. Besides that the service was good. It was just one lady who was judging me. Like girl it doesn’t affect your paycheck if I’m ordering off the kids menu 😒😒. I would give service one for that but I don’t want to throw the other workers who were really sweet under the bus. Overall not the greatest experience. I wouldn’t recommend tbh.

Don’t eat here if you don’t like inflation and you don’t like gaslighting. This listing shows $10-$20 per person there is nothing you can eat for $10 it’s more like $20-$30 they charge $18 for a BLT and then have the nerve to ask for more if you use a credit card when I brought it up to the manager he said they have to do that because they are not making any money (more gaslighting) he must think we are dumb $18 for a BLT has no profit? If you don’t want to keep paying higher prices you should avoid places like this that overcharge for everything!!!

Hello. Mr George how much you pay for the cook? No, no that's to much. Doesn't know the difference between a poached egg and a hard boiled egg, eggs Benedict are supposed to have a runny yolk not hard and the potatoes are precooked and reheated in the deep fryer.

Not sure how this happen, but we sent some potato skins back because i asked for them without bacon, and they were sent with bacon. 30min later they send these exact same potato skins or equally horrible skins out. This is so disappointing, because i believe theyre under the impression that these look edible. The skins are burnt beyond edible. I truly beleive these were prepped days ahead, and warmed up just before serving. They were not hot at all. I also noticed a customer who seemed like a regular, and he was one of three customers in the restaurant at 730pm. His food took 35min. This is sad. Like really sad. I dont normally write bad reviews before speaking with management, but ive sent 2 messages on the contact us email, and no reply. Customer ser uce was decent until the second order of potato skins came out and the waitress said " there ya go, i watched them make it, no bacon!" Its as if i was lying about having pork on the food. Cmon dude! Youd be able to see it right!? I dont frequent this place often. This was probably the third time ever going. Based on the items we purchased the milk shake was the best! And thats sad! Items ordered: Pretzels(cinnamon and regular) Kids spaghetii Kids chicken strips Chili cheese fries Potato skins (no bacon) Milk shake strawberry Nachos without meat (they were cold upon serving) How does this happen Richies!? Did yall give up or what?

My food was ready in 10 minutes. I suppose it was already cooked, just waiting for me to order. I'm not a fan of reheated restaurant food. The burnt taste is still in my mouth. Maybe I went on a bad day.

Wow just wow. We are from out of state and stopped in, as we were seated we asked about Military discount. Was told "they deduct it at checkout ". So at checkout out time, with a total check of $125.00 we got a whopping $1.75 discount!?? Was told they only give 10% off "one item". Disrespectful!. They should have just kept the $1.75. We had 4 people with combined 30 years in Military with us. Won't be back.

I invited my grandchildren for dinner at Richie’s in Temecula. I was rally disappointed! I ordered a glass of wine and the glass wine was so dirty. I let the server know and she changed the glass. When we were eating our salads, my grandson had a pintcher bug crawling all over his salad. We showed our server and got another salad. It was a horrible experience!

The cheeseburger had no flavor, was very dry. My girl got the veggie sandwich and thought it was ok. The salad she got was wilted and the blu cheese dressing tasted funny. The service was excellent but other than that, would not go back. I'm surprised this place has the rating it does.

When my husband and I arrived the greeter asked where we would like to sit. We asked for the outside section. We went outside and she asked, where would you like to sit, so I pointed to a table. As we approached the selected table she stopped us and said ,nope....you can't sit here because it's too far for the waitress to walk to. I turned and looked at other people who are already sitting down which they were only three feet away from the table I picked out. We ended up returning to the inside of the diner. Our server was AMAZING! The restaurant lacks quality food. My eggs Benedict was over cooked to which it looked like two hard boiled eggs under the sauce. The Richies compared to the one in Murrieta is terrible. We will not be returning to the Temecula location.

Incompetent and arrogant. That is what I experienced this morning. First the server brought me the wrong toast. OK mistakes happen. But, when another server brought the correct toast I said thx just set it down. Her response was i am not leaving the plate take your toast and put it on your plate. Wow where does that attitude come from. The server who took my order was very nice and had it correct. I suspect the person who brought the correct toast was the incompetent one.
