It's not a 5 Star restaurant in the classic sense, but the quality and freshness of the fare along with the price (and spotlessly clean dining area) combine to make it 5 Stars to your palate - and wallet. Something for everyone: the carnivores (land, sea and air..if you consider chicken as airborne), vegetarians, and there are gluten free options. (Yes, even for gluten free vegetarians.) Do beware - some of the sauces contain gluten, so ask first! White or brown rice = same price. Everything - super yummy. I've only had the veggie-meat-rice bowls, but larger plates are available for larger appetites. I wish there was one near our house...

Consistently good, healthier food. My kids love the salmon or steak...with extra sauce. And Waba offers military discounts...always a plus. The staff are pretty nice, and the place is clean, even the bathrooms.

So I love Waba Grill food, and the cooks are usually smiling and happy but the cashiers especially a dark haired girl are not so nice. There is a blonde guy with a beard who is super nice and always smiling. Only thing I don't like is every time I ask for light chicken on a chicken bowl they look at me like I am crazy I wish they would just be like ok. But no I get judged for asking for what I want it's crazy lol. Still love the food though. And don't hate the staff just wish they were nicer.

The unsweetened mango iced tea was bitter, but I loved their hot sauce. The portion size on the bowl is excellent, and the variety is tasty.

The food was good and up to Waba Grill standards. Unfortunately the building itself has some issues. I've been three different times and it always had a mild humid musty smell inside. As such I would always eat at the outside tables.

The first time I tried Waba I was quite pleased. However in subsequent visits I realize this food is lacking in flavor. I am no doubt spoiled by other Teriyaki bowls (in O.C.) that offer more variety of vegetables and that have a better teriyaki sauce. It may be a personal preference [of mine], so I would recommend trying it for yourself.

I like Waba, and the food at this location is of similar quality found at other locations. The service was slow, took almost 10 minutes for a rice bowl to go; excessive and unsatisfactory. Waba good, try the Ynez and Overland location for better service.

Went in at 10:15 this AM. ordered a spicy chicken and steak bowl and 5 piece dumpling. Get my food and leave. On the road back home I look in the bag. I got chicken - no dumblings. No sauce. I have to turn around and go back inside and let them know my order was wrong. The man was super sweet (which is why i gave two stars honestly) he was apologetic and kind. Get the steak and dumplings. Get home and break it all out. The dumplings were cold and mushy, yet also burnt in the bottom? Maybe cooked the day before? The rice tasted like cleaning supplies. The chicken and steak were tough and just COVERED in sauce (not in a good way - cause I love sauce) I ate 2 dumplings and 2 bites of that bowl and threw it all out. I'm worried if I keep eating it I'll get food poisoning. I wouldnt recommend this place... it was my first time at waba grill, and I was so disappointed. I thought it would be a healthier alternative to a burger and fries, but im now taking this as a sign to always opt into getting the burger.

Absolutely disgusting. Sauce tastes like vomit; that's not exaggeration. Rice was undercooked just to make things worse.

They have drastically skimmed down on their protein sizes that it’s not even worth getting a bowl here anymore. I suggest going some other place like Da Coconut Cafe

Foods great but they dont run air conditioning, it was over 85 degrees in the dining room and I wasnt able to bring my grandmother here because its far too hot to eat inside. Is that legal? Some one needs to look into this.... its absurdly uncomfortable in the dining room.

Just found waba grill a couple of weeks ago really like the food was good going to go back today got there a little bit early the door was open went inside they said we’re not open yet I said can we just sit down and wait they said yeah but you must wait outside. Do not recommend this location. Sucks because the people were very nice but really bad steak bowl and overall experience with the restaurant.
