The food, wine and service were exceptional!! I look forward to returning soon! I wish I had thought to take more photos. Mussels for an appetizer (broth was delicious), arugula salad (house vinaigrette was amazing) and lobster mezzaluna (delicate and full of flavor). We had a flight of white wine that paired perfectly with our food. Isaac was an attentive waiter and we had a wonderful conversation with the Executive chef, Joseph.

The burrata and the white wine mussels appetizers were really good. The smoked burrata is something you should definitely try. All of our food was delicious and they also have really good service.

We truly enjoyed our evening at Avanti in Creekside Park. Exceptional drinks and the food was delicious and filling. The ravioli was excellent. Thanks for the excellent meal and ambiance.

Absolutely delicious food! My husband said the Dela Casa salad was the best salad he ever had! It was delicious. I also had the smoked burata which was so good! Unique and served with pizazz. I had the meatball and spaghetti and he had chicken parmesan and both were amazing! Great wine selection and beautiful atmosphere. Casual yet upscale. Loved it and we will definitely be regulars!

What a great place! The food was prepared made to order and tasted so fresh! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the gnocchi was amazing. Will definitely add this list of favorites! Indoor and outdoor seating available. The service matched the quality of lunch! Did I mention the limoncello? Worth the calories!

The service was great. The waitress (Raven, I think) was very attentive and made sure that we were treated well. The music was great and even kids around there weren't disruptive which allowed us to enjoy our meal and they enjoyed theirs as well. Overall a great experience.

Anniversary dinner at Avanti and it was perfect! My Cacio E Pepe alone is worth the trip! Fantastic service, inviting ambience, and delicious food....what else do you need?!

The food is amazing! Atmosphere is cozy and live music from David Albornoz made our evening perfect.

My husband and I had Valentines dinner here. JT was our server, great customer service was provided. All the ladies got a rose this evening, which I thought was a super cute touch. The food was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed the quiet cozy setting for a Valentines dinner.

We stumbled upon the gold mine of flavor by accident. From the outstanding host service and wonderful wait staff to the high end food with a diverse wine selection, you cannot go wrong. Our food was magnificent and the dessert really made the evening! I highly recommend the amaretto creme Brule! Well worth an evening with your significant other or a great spot to impress business guests

The lasagna is to dieeee for. Not what I would usually order at a restaurant but it is really worth it. The seafood risotto was amazing and the Ceasar salad with grilled octopus too! Sunday lunch and the food came REALLY FAST basically no wait. Our server was excellent. High chairs available and the food is 100% toddler friendly. Only reccomendation to the bar: chill the prosecco the night before. Update: Menú has changed somewhat since it became marcoza. They brought pizza back YESSSSSSSSS we tried the octopus carpaccio too which is great if you like raw octopus.

We went to Avanti, one of our favs, we usually order in! But it was late afternoon and not crowded. They have high back leather dividers between their booths now too, they used to have plexiglass! Our server was very professional, and the food as always is excellent! I hope they can get the Plumpjack Chardonnay back in! The Jordan was good but a little crisp for me! I had the Branzino and my hubby had the lobster 🦞 Mezzaluna!!! Yummy 😋

2nd time here and it does not disappoint. I tried the wild boar shank for the first time in my life and really liked it. A must is the chocolate bread puddin with ice cream and the octopus carpaccio.

I was here on Sunday with my friend and we had a great first impression. Service was great , food was delicious and wine was magnificent. I will be returning soon for a slice of that delicious amaretto cake and glass of Bodegas - Malbec.

We had another excellent meal at Avanti Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. All of their food is so fresh and prepared with extreme attention to detail. Pretty much everything is made from scratch daily…from the sauces, and pastas, to the breads, and desserts. Even their salad dressings are scratch made ! Our server was phenomenal. She was courteous and prompt, but not overbearing, and she had excellent wine knowledge. As for the decor, the place is stunningly beautiful. Do yourself a favor and try them out, you won’t be sorry!

We had a wonderful brunch with friends and family at Avanti Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar this past weekend! This little gem is tucked smack in the middle of the Creekside area of The Woodlands, TX. We were a little hesitant to dine out during these crazy covid times, but from the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, we could see that they go above and beyond with their sanitation practices. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Not too overbearing. The food was MAGNIFICENT and they had a pianist playing the piano!! We were able to choose from both regular menu options and brunch items. My husband had the The Americano- eggs, bacon, savory breakfast potatoes and toast. He had no complaints. I had the Crispy Fried Chicken & Waffle- fried chicken breast, pancetta and herb stuffed waffle, two sunny side up eggs and maple syrup. It did wad quite possibly the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Our daughter had the Pollo Parmigiana - Parmigiano Reggiano crusted chicken breast, pomodoro sauce, mozzarella, spaghetti pasta with garlic butter sauce and fresh basil. It was perfect! We noticed they have a FULL BAR with a nice cocktail list, craft beer and a massive wine selection. We may have found our new happy hour spot...lol. It’s safe to say, we will be back.

We sat at the bar where Cole, the bartender served us. The mussels were huge and so very tasty. The lasagna was excellent. The Cheese Ravioli was very tasty as well. We had a very good experience and will definitely return for visits.

I had an excellent dining experience here, from the time we were greeted with a smile at the hostess stand, to the moment we left. The beautiful decor is warm and inviting, and the service is impeccable! Our server was perfect, not too overbearing, and the manger on duty, Melanie, was extremely kind. We enjoyed our conversation with the staff. The food is made from scratch with quality ingredients. You can't beat the pasta dishes on the lunch menu, they are phenomenal, and the lasagna is the best I have ever had. Job well done, Avanti Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar!

Great ambience and great food. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor spaces. A great place for outdoor during the pleasant spring time. Good choice of food and drinks. The prices are on the higher end. They have a great selection of wine and drinks. Brunch is served on Sunday only between 11 to 3 noon. Portions are decent not too big. Children friendly options available as well need to check with the staff on that.

A couple of people I work with recommended this place, and they were right! Came in for my birthday; food tasted superb and the restaurant itself has a calm and relaxed ambience. The surrounding area's traffic can get congested in the evenings, so do keep that in mind if keeping a reservation. There's plenty of easy, fast parking once you get there and you're greeted at the door with a smile! While we didn't sit outside, they do have a lovely outdoor area that makes you just want to sit down for a glass of wine to enjoy the day. Great place!

It's been a few years and time for an update. We just came back from a thoroughly excellent dinner, only the most recent of several dozen. If anything the food is gotten even better and the menu more enticing. This continues to be our first choice for special nights out anywhere near the Woodlands or Conroe. My previous review for 3 years ago: One of the best new restaurants north of Loop 610, this has become our go-to spot for special nights out. The more we go the more we love it, and have been through half the menu and can't wait to try the other half. Great wine flights and an amazing Sunday brunch - what's not to like?!?

Went here for dinner date night tonight and it was fabulous! Food and drinks were great and our server, Javier, was sweet and attentive. Got the Pescatore pasta and Spritz flight and was very happy. Definitely recommend!

From scratch, authentic Italian - perfection. My husband got the smoked hazelnut old fashioned. He really enjoyed it. Our boys really enjoyed the food & dining on the patio. The desserts were delicious as well. I recommend the tres leches.

NEW FAVORITE ITALIAN RESTAURANT! Been on the hunt for a new favorite spot for Italian food in the area, and I think we finally found it! Avanti blew us away with the most delicious Italian food I've had in a long time, along with providing exemplary service. It was our first visit, and it will not be our last. We stopped by on a Friday night for a quick meal, before catching a movie across the street... Although we were pressed for time, we enjoyed a variety of dishes (and a cocktail); all brought to our table very quickly. To note, the speedy delivery of our food did not diminish the lovely plating/presentation of the dishes, and every item was phenomenal. We tried the Cucumber Elderflower Martini (so crisp & refreshing), the best Calamari we've ever had, the delightful Chicken Avanti (an elevated piccata), and a traditional Lasagna Bolognese you can count on.... Not a single complaint. Everything was amazing. ***Chef's Kiss*** I would order every item all over again (and again). However, on our next visit I'm hoping we have more time to our evening, so we can try more dishes & cocktails. And, I'm sure we will be checking out the sister location at Research Forest sometime in the near future, as well. We aim to be regulars... It was an excellent meal and a wonderful experience. Our service and food was exceptional! In a panic, we called to book a last minute brunch on Mother’s Day for a group of 11. The previous venue had no problem seating us outside in the rain, so Marcoza really did save the day. We highly recommend the brussels sprouts, charcuterie, and the pistachio gelato was the best I’ve ever tasted in my life! Thank you Marcoza, we will be back!

Extremely nice date or business meeting style restaurant. The environment was stylish, comforting, and enjoyable. The staff were very professional and took great care of us throughout the visit. The appetizers were amazing and the wine selection was unmatched!!! We anxiously awaited our food which had tons of flavor and well worth the price. Being a nicer restaurant the prices are a bit high, but who doesn't expect to spend for an amazing date night. Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Marcoza Trattoria in Creekside, The Woodlands. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming. The service was prompt and very friendly—our server (pictured in our post) was especially kind, attentive, and gave us excellent recommendations, all of which turned out to be spot-on. The food was outstanding. We ordered the Ossobuco, Branzino, and gnocchi Bolognese—each dish was beautifully presented and full of bold, authentic Italian flavors. Everything tasted fresh and carefully prepared, and the portions were just right. A fun and unexpected highlight was the Prosecco from the UK, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired wonderfully with our meal. For dessert, we enjoyed the tres leches cake and pistachio gelato. Both were delicious, and we definitely recommend saving room for something sweet. The dessert menu had several tempting options—it truly was the perfect ending to a great meal. Highly recommend Marcoza Trattoria if you’re looking for quality Italian food, excellent service, and a cozy atmosphere in The Woodlands area. We’ll definitely be back!

In one of our family trips to Houston Texas from Vancouver, bc Canada, we had the opportunity to go to Macorza restaurant, looking for a fine dinning experience and we were pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere and food were great, we had the filet mignon and the osso bucco, both dishes were delicious. Our server saige Carlos also did an amazing job, continuously making sure we were happy with the service. Wich we were, definitely will be back !!

Great bar. The space is sharp, and the drink selection is solid, but the bartenders are what make it. They know their stuff, and they actually make you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time in.

Marcoza is our regular Friday spot for several reasons: the bartenders, the food, and the atmosphere. We feel like family here. The filet mignon is the best in the area, and if you are looking for the best dirty martini or espresso martini you have found the perfect place!

I ordered this via Door Dash and it was wonderful. Fresh pasta and it arrived at the perfect temperature. This is real Italian food and delicious. I topped a Lasagna off with a cannelloni and finished off with a smile. Highly recommend.

This was our second visit. The ambiance was very inviting, nicely decorated and upscale, and could accommodate a family or date night. The live music was an excellent touch. Great sax player who played an array of genres. Food was delicious, service was great, and cocktails were delightful. We will definitely be back. It was fabulous Friday night!

I stopped by last weekend and was attended by Adriana. She had a lovely smile and the cutest accent. I ordered the Filet Mignon and it was delicious. The manager, Carlos, stopped by my table and we briefly spoke. I told him I really enjoyed the great service and the tasty meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. Btw, my compliments to the chef.

I went to celebrate my anniversary with my husband a week ago, and we had such a great time. Adriana, our server was fabulous. The manager was very attentive. Wonderful atmosphere. Adriana made our special dinner, even more special.

David, our waiter, was amazing. He was always attentive but never overbearing, ensuring we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. His friendly demeanor and professionalism made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We extend our congratulations to the chef for the amazing food.

This place never ceases to amaze me. David was an exceptional server. There is nothing more than I want in a dining experience to have incredible service and great food. This place delivers. We have had so many sub par experiences going to places and legitimately regret a 500 dollar bill because the food quality and service did not match. This is less expensive but meets expectations well beyond the prices on the menu. Great, affordable, homemade, swanky, tasty, quality, amazing service, ambiance. - all great things that come to mind with this place. This place is comfy, expectable, tasty, and appreciated. Food - great. Service - great. Service - great. Patio is incredible on east side of building.

Excellent service, 10/10 food, absolutely fabulous, and the attention and care provided by Mr. Carlos. They make you feel at home, definitely a very good culinary experience. Our next meetings will definitely be at Marcozza.

We had a wonderful experience today celebrating Easter with lunch. Daniella was the perfect server, helpful, knowledgeable, and discreet. We had the the meatballs, beef carpaccio, salmon, musarella pizza and fettuccini with bolognese sauce. Finishing with a tres leches and espresso panna cotta. Thank you also for the beautiful live music, I didn’t get the name of the musician, but he was amazing. Thank you and wish you all of the best.

Food was delicious! We ordered online and everything went perfect from the ordering process to pick up. The food was still hot when we got it home. We will definitely be back...and often!

Been here a couple times and awesome experience, once for my birthday and casual. I’ve tried to bring people I know to try out their pork shank so good, flavor, taste, texture and quality, service always spot on, everyone is so friendly and the manager came to make sure everything was going well, espresso pana cotta for birthdays ( it’s a surprise) but overall 10/10

Exceptional food and outstanding service! I had an amazing experience here. The food was absolutely delicious fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and beautifully plated. I ordered the "spaghetti and meatballs" and it was cooked to perfection. What really stood out, though, was the service. Carlos Dioses, the manager, and Daniela our waitress were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Highly recommend this place I'll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing experience here for our anniversary! We had an excellent server named Ruslan, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the food was great as always. If you haven’t been here, I encourage you to try it out!

The food is always great, Ruslan, our server was pleasant and on top of everything with a smile. The one downside was that it was extremely loud. I couldn't hear anyone at my table at all so we ate quickly and exited. Maybe next time we will try a week night in hopes it will be quiet.

Our server Saige was amazing from the time we sat down to the time we left. She was professional, knowledgeable, warm, and made us feel extra special. She made recommendations that melted everyone's palates. The food, drinks and dessert were amazing, no complaints from anyone. The speed of service from the time we ordered to the time it was delivered was unmatched, I don't think we've experienced this level of accuracy, quality, and professionalism. I had a terrible day. Couldn’t even think about feeding myself. Thank you, Marcoza! David is just amazing. He listened to my nonsense, kept my drinks full, fed me, and made me laugh which fixed everything. You turned what was a random google search for pasta into a loyal customer.

Its consistent and the food is good. Ambience is delightful. I am a regular custumer. My partner and I go at least one a week. Highly recommend.

We hosted my daughters college graduation dinner for 14 last night at Marcoza Trattatoria and had an excellent experience. The food was great and the service was even better. The crowd level was low since it was a Thursday night and we were very comfortable and taken care of. I recommend for an intimate dinner. The noise level wasn't bad at all and we could comfortably hold conversations. The waitstaff took care of cutting and serving our cake and they set out a small table for the cake and gifts. I would definitely go back!

Excellent experience! Chic and intimate atmosphere. Live sax player was a great touch. Excellent and attentive service (Rodolfo was the kind of server others should train under). Every dish was fresh and flavorful - especially the Marsala - creamy perfection. We will be back.

I have come to find that I have high expectations for dining and service. This place gets an A+ in taste, service and wine. Now they just need Spaghetti alla nerano on their menu and I would rate A++. I had the short rib and truffle risotto and it was devine. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!

You can have a really good drinks and food.

The food was pretty good; we had several pasta dishes and the pomodoro sauce had a great fresh tomato flavor; the lemon butter sauce on the linguine and clams was just a little heavy on the butter, but tasty. The mussels were also pretty good. The only drawback was that the meal was a bit pricey, but it seems we need to get used to that!

Good food. Service was just ok (slow). We had the meatballs for an appetizer. This was our favorite thing. The chicken parm was good. The lamb shank was a bit fatty, but had good flavor. The outside patio area was actually nice, but the live music was not great. I had the smoked old fashioned and it was very tasty, but I expect it to be for $16 a drink. I will try it again, as it’s close to where we live, and there is not many Italian restaurants in the area.

Came to celebrate an anniversary, and the table was very nicely decorated. The waiter did a good job and was able to get me gluten free bread (pictured below) which was outstanding. The chicken avanti was good but my main criticism was that the broccolini was too al dente.

My wife and I stop here for lunch, we have heard great things and had been meaning to stop in for awhile. The inside is very clean and setup well, the staff that sat us and waited on our table were wonderful. A few of the staff had some tables outside and that staff was loud telling jokes by our table, we were the only customers inside. The food was hit or miss. They bring bread to the table that was really good, we ordered two peroni and they were cold and great. We ordered cheese plate and octopus for an appetizer, the octopus was burnt on the outside, which caused a very bitter flavor and raw inside, the cheese plate was good. For the meal we ordered the seabass, probably one of the best fish dishes we have eaten in a long time and the cacio de pepe, this dish comes with truffle oil and truffles and it says so on the menu but being my favorite dish when i am in Rome i ordered it. This dish was great but the truffle oil overpowered the cacio and totally took away from the simplicity that makes cacio de pepe so good. Overall we had a great time here and will be coming back, i highly suggest this restaurant.

We went here Sunday for Mother’s Day for the first time and it was wonderful! It was our first time here and will def be back. I only give 4 stars, well actually 4.5 ⭐️ because although our server was sweet it took awhile to get our entree order and it took awhile to come to our table and we have to wait to get our drinks refilled ( it’s not that busy even though it’s Mother’s Day) . The food is 100/10 we had Pescatore and my husband had the wild boar shank. The atmosphere was amazing the restaurant aesthetic is very elegant and cozy! We reserved a table online and as we walked in we were seated right away and accommodate our request for the table/seat we requested!!!! We will be back to try some of the food!! Everyone is friendly and amazing!!!!!

Really good Italian restaurant just south of The Woodlands. Great vibe. One man band singing/playing at the bar. I had the gnocchi with bolognese. Super good. Wifey’s eggplant was a little undercooked but still good. It had great flavors. Desert was phenomenal too. Recommend this place! Great prices and perfect portion size. We will be back for sure.

I went there with some friends and we all liked the food,only thing we didn’t like was the service. We didn’t get any bread but the table next to us did. So we felt not well attended by the waiter. They need to make sure to serve and treat customers all the same. Dish is presentable but it would have looked and tasted better with the bread.

This was a very nice place, polite and kind staff, and a piano player as you walk in which was really nice. They have great little wine trios,the bread was good but extremely salty! They use rock salt on everything so some bites might be ok but some were unbearable. The avanti chicken I got was decent but not wonderful. The sauce had raw, uncooked garlic,and again the potatoes were loaded with salt, not really edible . The broccolini was good, no salt. They heard me say how salty it was but only offered to redo the potatoes. I declined and just didn't eat them. My husband got the lamb shank with mushroom risotto. It was not salty but the risotto was not good at all, it had raw onions and it really didn't taste like risotto. The lamb shank was very good and tender . Our friend got the short ribs with polenta . It was tender and the polenta was amazing! The portion sizes were good except for the calamari. It was amazing ,but it was all filler and only a few bites of calamari. The Ceasar salad was also pretty good. Then the desert! 😋 The chocolate mouse cake is to die for! (The best part of my meal) And you get a free cheesecake for your birthday! It was pretty good but I've had better. So, if you decide to eat here ask for no salt and then salt it yourself. I gained 4 pounds of water weight overnight 😩 because of so much salt.

The ambiance is upscale and nice. The service was fantastic. The pizza was just ok. I had big hopes for the lasagna, but I wasn’t impressed. It was bland.

Food was fine, nothing amazing but not bad. But I’m mainly disappointed in the lack of transparency about pricing. If the server asks if you want “still water or sparkling”, I can only assume those are my two options… shocked when we somehow were charged $14 FOR WATER on our bill at the end. It said 2 bottles at $7 each… I’m sorry who’s charging for water for the table for 4 people? We didn’t ask for it to be bottled nor were we given any choice for “tap”. Rip off and felt scammy to just slide onto the bill. Check your tickets, y’all!

This was our first time here, we had heard so many good things on different foodie groups on Facebook but honestly we were very disappointed. The Brussel sprouts were swimming in olive oil, the Nonna’s zuppa was pretty bland and the seafood risotto platter was filled with little shells in every other bite. I was also very surprised that Alfredo was not on the menu at all. Definitely not the best quality food for the price in our opinion!! Although the location is convenient, we won’t be back. Besides the food being poor, the patio was nice and quaint and the service was okay- also not great!

My wife and I took a close friend to dinner here for his birthday. A sign out front advertised Italian wine selections that night for 1/2 price. We ordered a $120 bottle. When the check arrived, the wine was listed at full price. The waitress explained that the 1/2 price deal was for wines less than $100, which was on the sign outside. I asked to speak to the manager, as I didn’t notice the “fine print” (and the waitress said nothing about it when we ordered). He refused to give any discount on the wine. That, combined with less than ideal service (e.g., taking food and drinks from the table without asking, neglecting to deliver boxed food before we left, and more) and mediocre food, are reasons I’ll not return.

Came here for a date night. Unfortunately the manager Ivonne was just so unbelievably rude and so unprofessional not only to us but to the staff as well. Will never be returning because of her.

Es la segunda vez que vengo a este Restorant, la primera vez comí pizza , estuvo ok , pero nada que envidiarle a mod o la pizza d e Trader Joe’s es mejor . El lugar tiene un lindo patio y nada más la Comida es malisima como descendiente de italianos , es un insulto ,llamar a esto comida italiana , si, para el público mexicano y americano que no distinguen la verdadera comida italiana , puede ser … la atención horrible, traían la comida sin los cubiertos , se enfriaban los platos , ordene unos calamares mediterráneos , en todo el plato si había un tentáculo entero de calamar era mucho, mi hijo pido una pasta con trufas , tampoco tenia trufas … , como segundo Plato ordene unos ravioles de langosta , eran una medialuna gigante de masa y el relleno del tamaño de un grano de maiz , por tercero y la frutilla del pastel fue el café , éramos tres personas que pedimos café , los cafés vinieron fríos , pedi que me traigan otros, se los llevaron los cafés los recalentaron al microondas , las tazas derramadas del café que dejaron hervir , y mezclaron todas las tazas de cafe , sin nadie saber cuál era el de cada cual, en fin un lugar de mi€%a no lo recomiendo , 200 dólares no lo valió , se perjudicó el waitress por qué el típ fue zero , no vuelvo mas .

This was my first time visiting Marcoza, and it will definitely be my last. The experience was horrible from start to finish — and not because of our server, who was actually amazing and did everything they could to make our visit pleasant. Unfortunately, the so-called owners ruined it. We couldn’t believe how the woman named Lauren was speaking to her employees — she was rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional. It made us genuinely feel bad for the staff. No one should ever be treated like that, especially people working hard to give guests a good experience. As for the food, it was nothing special — honestly no better than what you’d get at a standard chain Italian restaurant. Combine that with the uncomfortable atmosphere and the fact that the place was practically a ghost town, and it’s easy to see why. I truly hope our server finds a better opportunity somewhere they’re valued, because they deserve so much more. As for Marcoza, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

As a visitor from California, I was really looking forward to dinner at Marcoza in Houston with my girlfriends. The vibes were great and we were excited for a fun night, but the experience took a turn. I ordered a glass of wine that just wasn’t for me and politely asked if it could be switched for a different one. The manager refused outright — no explanation, no flexibility, just a firm no. It definitely killed the mood and felt so unprofessional. For a restaurant that aims for an upscale experience, the customer service didn’t quite match the vibes.

I went out to eat with my family last night expecting a pleasant experience, but unfortunately the management really dropped the ball. I ordered a pork dish served over risotto, and the risotto itself was overwhelmingly salty to the point that it ruined the entire plate. While mistakes happen in any kitchen, what disappointed me most was the manager’s complete lack of involvement. Despite the issue being communicated, the manager NEVER once came to our table to apologize or even acknowledge the problem, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. On a positive note, our server was absolutely amazing — attentive, kind, and genuinely did their best to make things right. Their service was the only reason the experience wasn’t a total loss.
