This is a cute island themed place with decor and food to match. The various "bowls" are tasty, but you can't beat their burgers. Fun place.

This review is about 15 years in the making so I have a lot to say, but the short and sweet of it is, this place is incredible and you should absolutely come here. My go to is the Hawaiian and it’s delicious every time. The burgers are always perfectly cooked and the mix of meat in the patties is super flavorful. The Toocan is a chicken sandwich and is also delicious. The fries are great because they leave the skins on and they are fried to perfection, I’ve never had a soggy French fry from Islands. The Hula Pie is literally one of my favorite dessert. The reason Islands is a 4/5 is because the service is something’s iffy. While are the servers are friendly, it’s a 50/50 shot if they bring you ranch dressing or yellow mustard without asking multiple times. I also find that the servers are slow on refills. But despite these nitpicks about the service, the food is always amazing and a restaurant I cannot live without.

Way overrated. We got the 8oz filet and the halibut. Filet was over salted, but cooked as requested. Halibut was dried out and overcooked. Sides were creamed corn which was more thick cream sauce than corn, and broccoli. Broccoli was good. Server came over at the end of our meal Ambiance was crowded and loud. Haven't been here in years, now I know why. A big pass for us.

I just don't really care for food here. The Maui burger was bland, the fries were meh, and the menu says SHAKES (& smoothies) in smaller font, so doublecheck if it's actually a flipping shake and not a smoothie before you buy it :p

Food was amazing and delicious, but service was very slow. There were only a few other people there and it still took us about 45 minutes before our food came out. But, when it did, it was delicious and very yummy. The fries tasted a little odd and we had to keep asking for ranch before we actually go it. Our server was nice but she also seemed like she was worrying about 10 different things so I think they were a little understaffed. Overall, my Hawaiian burger was a 10/10. Fries 3/10. For almost $20, I'd rather go to the Habit and get their version for cheaper!

To be fair we arrived 20 minutes before closing time. The service was acceptable. The food was not that great for the price. We had the island nachos and Hawaiian bowl. We got the food to go but when we ate it didn't have utensils or napkins. Also, they said it would be 10-15 minutes for the food to come out but it seemed like it took longer. I'm willing to give another try during the day to see how other food options are and service.

Wasn't offered a kids menu, spent time attempting to figure out what to get the kid.... just to see a kid next to us with a kids menu. Strike 1. Food and beers arrived hella slow. Strike 2. Bland fish tacos that tasted straight off a Sysco truck needed hot sauce that I never got after I asked for it. Strike 3. Not a difficult to please party and they weren't busy. Super disappointed.

My wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night. There was a 40-minute wait for a table, so we decided to eat at the bar. Dustin, who appeared to be working alone in the very busy bar, cheerfully greeted us and took our drink order. After our drinks were served, Dustin returned to take our food order. We ordered the chicken nachos, dinner salad, and the Longboarder burger with fries. After about 15 minutes, the chicken nachos and fries arrived. 35 minutes later, the dinner salad and Longboarder burger arrived. The dinner salad had clearly been sitting under or next to the heat lamps as the bowl was very warm and the salad had wilted. I commented to Dustin that he was outstanding at managing the entire bar, virtually alone, but that the kitchen and his manager had let him down. This is a clear example of poor restaurant management. While I understand Friday nights can be extremely busy, it is the responsibility of management to staff accordingly. There is no excuse to deliver fries without the burger or a warm salad. I will think twice before returning to this location, particularly on a Friday night.
