Stopped in for a single slice and it didn't disappoint. Fresh, crispy, and served at the perfect temperature. The service is great too

First time here and did not disappoint. The variety of pizza slices was amazing. The staff was friendly and patient, taking the time to explain each style of pizza that was available. The pizza was fresh, flavorful and a very big slice of pizza. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

This is probably my favorite place for pizza between Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village. Not only is the food delicious, but the owners are also such amazing people.

Give this place a try! Slice House TO offers really good slices of Pizza. I came on a Saturday around 3pm and it wasn't too busy. Slices of pizza are about $6 depending on which one you select. You can also order a full pizza. I'm not a Vegan, but Vegan cheese is offered here! The flavors are unique and unlike anything I've had in the area. You won't be disappointed!

Slice House is a new pizza brand that has started to make its way in the Ventura county area. They specialize in not only pizza but different varieties in which to choose from. From New York big slice to Detroit style, Grandma style, Sicilian, and California style pizza. Each style is fantastically different in their own way, so you should definitely bring a somewhat large appetite to enjoy each variety. You can choose to get a whole pie made for you, but for the sake of variety, trying the individual slices they have to offer daily is a better route if you are curious to see just what they have to offer. They also serve other dishes besides pizza. Such as wings, Stromboli, subs, meatballs, and other Italian fare. If you are craving artisan pizza, then slice house may just become your new favorite pizza joint.

Wow! Huge slices. Outstanding flavor. Detroit style, grandma style, NY slices. Reminds me of a combination of some of my favorite pizza joints in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I ordered the Detroit style Sicilian. It was thick, fluffy and gooey. Plenty of marinara on it. Good flavor. I should’ve quit there. The BBQ chx looked so good I went back to order a second slice. They’re so big! My $17 meal was a bout to become $25. The flavor on the front side of the pie was sweet and tangy. It was def worth it. Until I got to closer to the crust. This NY slice was too thick, airy and doughy. I ended up eating half of it. If you like a thick crust that’s soft inside, maybe this is your bag. I kept the 5 star rating because I think this can be 5 star, pizza depending on what you order. Definitely good enough I will come back to try another flavor/style.

I was invited to their soft opening by the owner. I have to say this is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I had two different slices and they were totally delicious. I was totally full on just two. The owner let me take some slices home to my sister and she loved it. Run don't walk to this place. It's great. The recipes are based on Tony Gemigani pizzeria creations. He has won many awards and is considered one of the best pizza of the creators in the United States. He's in one of the photos with the light blue shirt. They'll be open to the public July 28th Friday 2023. Enjoy your pizza!

This is top 3 pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I tried the Little Italy deep dish and the Barbecue Chicken slice. Both were unreal. The crust was absolutely exceptional and unique. I also got to try the cheese garlic sticks and chicken wings. Those were insanely good. Atmosphere was excellent and service was awesome. And because it’s sold by the slice, the pizza comes out super quick. Like under three minutes quick. Prices were really solid too, averaging about 6-8 dollars a slice. They’re really big, so two will be sufficient if you’re hungry. Will be returning for sure.

Got to admit that (coming from Queens, NY) this is by far the best pizza outside of NYC. What Tony pulled off with this crust (especially the Sicilian) is phenomenal. The ingredients are top notch on top and the sauce was pretty decent. Good job!!

Slice House Pizza is a fantastic spot for families and pizza lovers alike. The variety here is outstanding, you can order different slices and try multiple styles of pizza in one visit, which makes it fun and easy for everyone to get what they want. The pizza itself is excellent with great flavor and texture. I especially love the reheated slices, they come out perfectly crisp and just the right amount of crunchy. The quality and consistency always impress me. Service is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s one of those places that quickly becomes a family favorite. Great service, great pizza, and always a great experience at Slice House Pizza.

We were stuck in traffic and decided to jump off the freeway and quickly found this place man am I glad we found it. We found parking and got ourselves right in. It was around lunch hour so it seemed to be kind of busy but they quickly helped us and our food came rather fast. the pizza was really good. The salads are kind of small, but they had good flavor and there is indoor and outdoor seating. I can see how this place could get really busy, but it was moderately busy when we came on a Friday afternoon if you’re in the area I definitely suggest to try it. I thought the prices were fair and the food was tasty.

Heard a lot of hype around this spot, and overall I was happy with the meal. I preferred the Angeleno slice to the wise guy. The hot honey is a great touch, and they’re not stingy with the toppings. Both crusts were good but the grandma crust was a bit more unique and better executed I feel. Everything came out hot and in a reasonable amount of time. There’s a parking lot behind the building with a good amount of spaces.

Slice house has high quality, great tasting pizza. I had the Cal Italia and the Rosa. The flavor combinations in the Cal Italia are fantastic. The main issue I had is that the pizza was ready 15 minutes before the scheduled time, so the pizza was luke warm when I picked it up. The cheese was no longer melted, and the crust seemed a bit tough, which I attribute to the fact that it was sitting around for a while before I got it. While the flavor was good, I'm not sure the low quantity and decent quality justify the price. There are many high-quality pizza places in the area that give you a lot more for the same price. Update: tried it a second time. Once again, the pizza was ready 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time, so it wasn't at an ideal temperature by the time I picked it up. I arrived exactly at the scheduled time. I tried the Detroit BBQ chicken and new york pepperoni. I think the Detroit would be better with different toppings. Their BBQ style pizza isn't very good. It has a very strong BBQ sauce, so no other flavors really get beyond the sauce, making it very 1-dimensional. The new york pepperoni is probably my favorite pizza there. Large slices, good sauce, crispy thin pepperoni, decent crust. I will try again with a different Detroit pizza, hoping to find a winner. However, it still seems overpriced compared to other local options, so if my next try isn't exceptional, it will probably be my last visit. Also, slight annoyance... they charged me for a side of ranch dressing and then forgot to include it in the bag. What makes that worse is that most pizza places give you a side of ranch for free. I tried it out again. I got a pepperoni Detroit pizza, it is really delicious. The crust is thick with a soft chewy inside and a crisp outside. I really enjoy the flavor of the baked cheese on the edges. The thin cut pepperoni could have been more crispy. I upgrade to the San marzano sauce, which has an exceptional flavor. The main issue I have with this place is the price. $36 for a pizza is a bit much considering it is only slightly more enjoyable than a Motor City Pizza Co pepperoni pizza (frozen pizza). For the record, Motor City Pizza is probably the only great frozen pizza I’ve ever had and rivals fresh high quality pizza. You could buy almost 4 of those for the same price as one from Slice House. In my 3 visits, I’ve enjoyed the food, but the price to enjoyment is too unbalanced. It is unlikely I will visit here again.

I’ve been waiting for this…. Slice House recently opened and I decided to pay them a visit. The outdoor patio was clean and organized. There we at least 4 different tables occupied by patrons. I entered and was the 4th person in line. I chose a slice of pepperoni and a square of their Detroit Style Pizza. Both were good but I should’ve dabbed the pepperoni with a paper towel. The crust was good and the chew was on point. The Detroit version was a little bit of a miss, the Cheese crust that is the hallmark of a proper Detroit style pizza seemed to be all Parmesan cheese which is a little too Crisp and the flavor harsh. I will be back soon and I’ll order a few whole pizzas for a proper review.

Had big expectations for this place. They warmed up the pizza a bit too much and became a bit burnt, which I don't like. I wish there was a brand new hot pizza out of the oven. That's the best way to have a slice. The slice was a bit thick not like a NY slice.

Greeting was great. Service N/a because i just ordered and left, but the quick chat was pleasant. Pepperoni pizza traditional.sloce hit the spot have been thinking of pizza all week, didn't want the hassle or complexity of ordering from other pizza establishments. I came here based on a recommendation of a friend and left a little disappointed. We went on a Friday night, so it was busy, and ordered pizza and pasta each. The pizza came out of the oven warm, but not hot. My friend said it was hot the last time it came out. I felt it also could have used some extra tomato sauce, but you can judge that on the photos. And our pasta was cooked well done, unlike how it was prepared for her last time, al dente, which is something I preferred. My friend commented that the food tasted differently when she came last time here, and it was better, so I don’t know what changed since then. Hopefully the experience will be better next time

Lost in Translation. This is "fake pizza," and I won't be back. Here's why: I hope the namesake Tony Gemignani reads this... I have no doubt that Tony G won an award for one of his pizzas at a competition. The problem though is that I'm sure on that day, at that specific competition, his dough probably consisted of water, salt and flour only... 3 ingredients. There was probably a day or two of fermentation going on to get that nice sourdough structure and flavor. I'd also presume that the ingredients on that day of that competition were far more Superior than what was replicated at this Slice House location. FYI, For commercial restaurant pizza reproduction, there are a lot of substitutes, and cutting corners. And I feel like trying to replicate or mimic that Exact award-winning pizza at the competition fell flat at this specific location. Here's the problem. The dough here at Slice House does not have structure. It's very crumbly, and I can tell by experience that there are a lot of additives, stabilizers and chemical conditioners which were incorporated into the dough here to try to give it structure, an airy rise and crispness. Also, the toppings here are definitely subpar. The cupping salami is definitely over-processed garbage, the spec was more like cheap scrapple from the mid west. What that means is that all that oil and grease penetrates into the dough while it's baking in the first couple minutes, and turns it into crisco. It's like deep frying your dough in a deep fat fryer. Tooooo oily and greasy. The most disappointing thing of all those was when I found out that they use an electric oven to bake the pizza. Seriously?! If you're going to charge me a premium price for an "award-winning pizza," I would expect a better dough with 3 to 4 ingredients, and at least have an open flame or a wood fired oven. When the pizza bakes in the oven, it should come together in one homogeneous unit. The sauce should meld with the cheese, and the toppings should become part of the entire pie. You just don't get that with an electric oven. Everything on the 3 pizzas I tried were seperate. What I also noticed was that the dough itself didn't have enough salt. There's no flavor in the dough, so you're relying on the toppings to penetrate down through the crust... And sadly, they don't. Everything is "good," or "the best you've had," until you've had better. Honestly, if you're a 16 year old kid who wants to spend $7 on a slice of pizza, this might be the place for you. But for touting yourself as an "award winner," Slice House was a disappointment. Don't believe me? Go to a place down the street like Freda's or Made in Italy half a mile away, and see, taste and feel the difference in the dough. See for yourself how an open flame or wood fired dough tastes and comes together with the sauce, cheese and toppings. Tony G., heart to heart, seriously, change your dough at Slice House to the way it was at the competition. Because I'm definitely not paying $$$$ for crisco, oily, greasy, tasteless pizza at Slice House again. Your staff is great though definitely keep them. The service was exceptional. I just didn't like the food.
