We came to Torrance Outback location for my nieces 14th birthday and Mandy was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive the entire time — constantly checking in without ever being overbearing. She made sure we had everything we needed and made our whole dining experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Truly exceptional service. I’d definitely come back just because of her!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ OUTSTANDING SERVICE ABOVE & BEYOND! We had such a wonderful experience at the Outback Steakhouse in Torrance! From the moment we walked in, the staff went out of their way to take care of us. My mother uses a walker, and the manager who seated us was incredibly kind and thoughtful, making sure she was comfortable every step of the way. Our server, Savannah, was truly exceptional. She’s a newer server, but you would never know it!!! She was warm, attentive, patient, and anticipated every single need before we even asked. She treated our family like we were the only table in the restaurant. It makes such a difference when you have someone who genuinely notices, who truly cares, and who turns a meal into an experience. Savannah did exactly that. Manager Sylvester also cared and checked in on us and made sure everything was perfect. The teamwork and hospitality here are unmatched. We enjoyed the amazing meal deals, but the service is what made our night so enjoyable. Because of Savannah, Sylvester and the incredible staff at the Torrance Outback, we will be back again and again.

Went during a weekday at lunchtime and the place is quiet. Service is efficient and friendly enough. Blooming onion petals appetizer is really good. Ordered the bone-in ribeye and it was cooked perfectly to medium rare. The steak is flavorful and very tender. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I brought my wife and son to this Outback and we had a nice meal. It took about 20 minutes for our table to be ready, on a busy Saturday night that wasn't bad. They do not except reservations. We ordered a blooming onion, a kids Sirloin, and two Delmonico ribeye steaks. Both steaks get two sides. My wife ordered french onion soup and a wedge salad. I ordered a wedge salad and french fries. The service was pretty quick with the onion, the soup and salads. They all arrived within 5 minutes of ordering, but at the same time. When we get everything at the same time we are less likely to enjoy them. I wish that these items had arrived individually. The blooming onion is always good. Its fried, crispy and full of flavor. The soup was good, but needed to be hotter. The salads were typical wedge salads, good. The steaks were brought out by a different server, who immediately left the table before we could ask for steak sauce. The food arrived with a generous portion of ranch dressing on the side, but its a condiment that my family doesn't use often. The kids steak was very good. It was juicy and cooked to perfection. I wish that the ribeyes were thicker, they were about 1 inch thick. In the past we have noticed that Outback tends to cook their steaks on the rarer side. As we like medium rare, we ordered medium. Our steaks came rare. Which is fine for us, but I know that others would be upset. The dinner was good, not great. We will probably eat at that location again. The service is very good and the food tasty.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Aussie Cheese Fries and The Bloomin‘ Burger with side of Baked Potato Soup was really heavy food. For the two of us, we were already getting full halfway through the appetizer. The fries were simple with melted cheese and bacon bits but was quite salty. We enjoyed the soup and the burger was quite hefty. The blooming onion petals was too much fried food for us after the fries but the other toppings were delicious. Service: 5/5 - super friendly service that was attentive and patient. She checked in on us when we looked up for eye contact but left us alone as we were eating. Ambiance: 4/5 - interior could use a touch up and the sun glaring through the doors wasn’t the most pleasant experience since it’s quite dark inside Value for price: 4/5 - fairly typical for an American chain restaurant but food did lean to the saltier side.

I don't recommend this place. My husband and I ate here today. We ordered the bloomin' onion, sirloin & alice springs chicken, and the chocolate thunder from down under. The appetizer was too salty, the sirloin (cooked at medium) was chewy, and the chicken was dry. We enjoyed the complimentary bread, the side soup, baked potato, and dessert more than the actual dishes. It was like the food was just re-heated. It was a good thing the server was so nice, though.

Steak here is average. Nothing is really special. The dish looks boring. I’ve tried steaks at different restaurants. This one would be the least. The onion was quite good, at least it was stunning. As a regular customer from this place for years I've noticed that the price for a meal for just one person is way too expensive already, when I go by myself I always order the Ribeye, house salad and baked sweet potatoe. I end up always paying around $50.00 (tip included). By preparing this at home doesn't cost me more than $25.00 US Dollars. I understand a business is meant to make profit out of it but willing to earn the 100% out of each service is already ridiculous. No joke that in the last occasions that I've gone to this location it was practically empty for a place with capacity for more than 250 people to has just 9 people inside at 2:00PM on a week day during meal time it's not a good sign. I think the business owner should be more empathic towards everyone due to the current economical situation that this country is going through and adjust their prices otherwise my prediction is that this place will be shutting down again as it did before.

We showed up at 6:30pm on a Sunday night and they had a 1 hour wait to be seated. This was fine, we were able to walk around the mall, but once seated every part of the experience took an abnormal amount of time. The waitress didn't take our order for over 10 minutes and provided no water or anything while we waited. Then, we ordered beers which took over 20 minutes to get to our table. Waters weren't filled regularly and overall the staff was inattentive. Food was fine, but one member only received maybe 5 total fries with his meal which had to be corrected by the gentleman delivering food. Likely won't come back to this location as the overall experience took from 6:30pm to 9pm.

I did not really wish to do this review, but I just had to say, honestly, diners beware. For the last six months, this Outback Steakhouse absolutely, positively had no staff the last three times that we visited. to walk in, we waited 10 minutes, and there was nobody inside. The second time, trying to get the waitress to help us out, getting her back for a second time for something that we needed. I had to go ahead. And find her this third time. Beats the cake. The restaurant was busy. They were just two people in there: a greeter and, I suppose, a waitress. We waited a good 10 or 15 minutes. More and more people were complaining about the poor service But it's our first and last time. If anybody wonders why we keep on going back, it's just for the family and friends and relatives from time to time. Because we do like Outback. We have some gift cards, so we needed to use them Unfortunately, we can't cash them in for cash and Over time, somebody in management will read this and actually get the message that you're losing too many customers on just giving bad service.
